Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika terkait penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan dengan penyebut yang berbeda di sekolah dasar masih menjadi salah satu materi yang sulit dipahami oleh siswa. Kesulitan dalam memahami materi tersebut berdampak pada kemampuan siswa yang rendah dalam menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan matematika, terutama yang berkaitan dengan pemahaman konsep serta langkah-langkah dalam melakukan operasi pecahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengkajian berbagai kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa dalam mempelajari operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan dengan penyebut berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan menelaah 15 artikel penelitian yang bersumber dari jurnal nasional maupun internasional. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk kesulitan belajar dan faktor penyebabnya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih mengalami kendala dalam memahami konsep dasar pecahan, menyamakan penyebut, melakukan prosedur operasi hitung, serta menginterpretasikan soal cerita. Kesulitan yang dialami siswa berkaitan dengan aspek dari dalam diri, seperti rendahnya dorongan belajar dan lemahnya penguasaan konsep awal, serta kondisi di luar siswa, di antaranya penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang kurang beragam dan keterbatasan penggunaan media pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran yang lebih efektif untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar pecahan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Diabetic foot ulcers are a complication of type 2 diabetes mellitus that has a high global prevalence. Insulin resistance in type 2 DM patients tends to cause chronic wounds and can delay wound healing. TyG index is currently used as a surrogate biomarker to evaluate insulin resistance because it is easy to perform and low cost. Analytic observational research with a cross-sectional approach at Diabetic Foot Poly Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin. The study sample was all patients diagnosed with type 2 DM and undergoing wound care at the Diabetic Foot Polyclinic of Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin starting in December 2024 who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria with a total of at least 74 people. Data analysis was performed with a simple binomial logistic regression test to estimate crude Prevalence Odds Ratio (POR) with 95% confidence intervals, and multiple binomial logistic regression tests were performed to estimate adjusted POR and 95%CIs. Compared with the lowest one-third TyG Index score, study subjects with the middle one-third TyG Index score were associated with a lower risk of severe diabetic foot ulcer incidence by 85.9% (Adj POR 0.141, 95% CI: 0.011-1.802). Subjects with the highest third TyG Index value were also associated with a lower risk of diabetic foot ulcer incidence of 87.1% (Adj POR 0.129, 95%CI: 0.008-1.959). The mean value of TyG Index+SD was 4.8872 + 0.4230 at severe foot ulcers. TyG index is not a predictive factor for the severity of diabetic foot ulcers in type 2 DM patients at the Diabetic Foot Clinic of Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin (p>0.05).

Abstract

The quality of education in elementary schools is strongly influenced by teachers’ performance, which in turn is shaped by school leadership practices. This study aims to examine the influence of principals’ instructional leadership on teacher performance in public elementary schools in Dabin III, Mranggen District, Demak Regency. A quantitative approach with a causal associative design was employed. The population consisted of 139 teachers, with 103 teachers selected as respondents using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The results show that principals’ instructional leadership has a positive and statistically significant effect on teacher performance. The regression analysis indicates that instructional leadership explains approximately 29% of the variance in teacher performance, suggesting a moderate influence. These findings imply that principals who effectively supervise instruction, provide academic guidance, and support professional development can enhance teachers’ ability to perform their duties. Strengthening instructional leadership is therefore essential for improving teaching quality and school effectiveness.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Putusan Pengadilan Agama Makassar Nomor 455/Pdt.G/2024/PA.Mks tentang penolakan izin poligami dalam perspektif teori hukum progresif. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif dengan menelaah peraturan perundang-undangan, Kompilasi Hukum Islam, serta pertimbangan hukum majelis hakim. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permohonan izin poligami tidak memenuhi syarat alternatif dan kumulatif sebagaimana diatur dalam Undang-Undang Perkawinan, khususnya terkait kondisi istri dan kemurnian persetujuan. Permohonan diajukan terutama untuk melegalkan pernikahan siri yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya, sehingga tidak mencerminkan itikad baik. Majelis hakim menilai bahwa persetujuan istri lahir dalam kondisi tekanan psikologis dan tidak mencerminkan kehendak bebas. Oleh karena itu, permohonan dinyatakan tidak dapat diterima (Niet Ontvankelijk Verklaard). Dalam perspektif hukum progresif, putusan ini mencerminkan penerapan keadilan substantif dengan mempertimbangkan aspek sosial, moral, dan psikologis para pihak serta perlindungan terhadap perempuan dan anak. Putusan tersebut menegaskan bahwa izin poligami merupakan pengecualian yang harus diawasi secara ketat demi menjaga keadilan dan keutuhan keluarga. Kata Kunci: Poligami, Putusan Pengadilan Agama, Hukum Progresif, Izin Poligami, Keadilan Substantif, Perlindungan Perempuan.   Abstract This study aims to analyze the Decision of the Makassar Religious Court Number 455/Pdt.G/2024/PA.Mks concerning the rejection of a polygamy permit from the perspective of progressive legal theory. This research employs a normative juridical approach by examining statutory regulations, the Compilation of Islamic Law, and the legal considerations of the panel of judges. The results indicate that the application for a polygamy permit did not fulfill the alternative and cumulative requirements as stipulated in the Marriage Law, particularly regarding the wife’s condition and the authenticity of consent. The application was primarily submitted to legalize a previously conducted unregistered marriage (siri marriage), thus failing to reflect good faith. The panel of judges found that the wife’s consent was given under psychological pressure and did not represent free will. Therefore, the application was declared inadmissible (Niet Ontvankelijk Verklaard). From the perspective of progressive law, this decision reflects the application of substantive justice by considering the social, moral, and psychological aspects of the parties as well as the protection of women and children. The decision emphasizes that polygamy permits are exceptions that must be strictly supervised in order to maintain justice and family integrity. Abstract

This study aims to analyze curriculum development management based on needs assessment in Islamic educational institutions and explain the importance of implementing needs assessment in creating relevant and adaptive curricula. This study employed a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through documentation studies from various scientific journals, books, and articles relevant to the research topic. The data were analyzed using content analysis through data reduction, data presentation, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that needs assessment plays an important role in identifying the needs of students, institutions, and society as the basis for curriculum development. The stages of curriculum development management include planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation, which must be carried out systematically. In addition, Islamic educational institutions face various challenges such as limited human resources, technological developments, and the need to maintain a balance between scientific knowledge and Islamic values. Therefore, curriculum development based on needs assessment is considered an effective strategy to improve the quality of Islamic education in order to remain relevant, adaptive, and grounded in Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze research design in educational policy, including its approaches, implementation, and challenges in the policy research process. The study employed a qualitative approach using a library research method by reviewing books, scientific journals, and relevant policy documents. Data were collected through documentation studies and analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that research design plays an important role in producing evidence-based educational policies that are relevant to educational needs. Three main approaches are commonly used in educational policy research, namely quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods approaches, each of which has its own characteristics and advantages in analyzing educational policies. The implementation of research design has also been applied in various educational policy studies, such as the evaluation of School Operational Assistance (BOS), the Merdeka Curriculum, and inclusive education policies. In addition, the study found that the main challenges in educational policy research design include limited data access, stakeholder complexity, and gaps between theory and practice in the field. Therefore, a systematic and comprehensive research design is essential to support effective, adaptive, and quality-oriented educational decision-making.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of verification and validation of visitation results in supporting the credibility of educational institution accreditation as part of the educational quality assurance system. The study employed a qualitative approach using a library research method by reviewing scientific literature, journal articles, and official documents related to visitation, verification, validation, and educational accreditation. Data were analyzed descriptively through data reduction, classification, and synthesis techniques. The findings reveal that verification functions to ensure the conformity of visitation data with supporting evidence and documents, while validation aims to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and feasibility of the data as the basis for accreditation decisions. The verification and validation process is conducted systematically through stages of data collection, examination, clarification, validation, and final determination. In addition, the application of objectivity, transparency, accountability, consistency, and professionalism principles plays an essential role in maintaining the quality and credibility of accreditation results. Therefore, verification and validation have a strategic role in improving the credibility of accreditation outcomes and supporting accurate and reliable data-based educational decision-making.

Abstract

Money in modern society does not merely function as a medium of economic exchange, but has also transformed into a symbol of power and a tool of social domination. This study aims to map the development of research on money as a symbol of power through Pierre Bourdieu’s perspective within the 2018–2025 period. The method used is a literature review to identify trends, main themes, methods, and research gaps from 16 related scientific articles. The results of the analysis indicate that the focus of research has evolved from basic concepts such as habitus and capital toward more complex issues, including money politics in democracy, the cultural meaning of uang panai, and symbolic capital in the digital era. Another finding reveals that qualitative approaches still dominate this field of study, although there are limitations in terms of empirical field data support. This study is expected to provide a theoretical foundation for developing practical solutions in understanding the management of symbolic power in society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas fenomena tekanan sosial dalam praktik mengikuti tren di kalangan mahasiswa dalam konteks masyarakat digital. Permasalahan penelitian berangkat dari kecenderungan mahasiswa mengikuti tren bukan semata sebagai ekspresi diri, tetapi sebagai bentuk penyesuaian terhadap tuntutan sosial yang berkembang di media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana tekanan sosial membentuk perilaku mahasiswa dalam mengikuti tren dengan menggunakan perspektif Michel Foucault. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif melalui studi literatur terhadap berbagai sumber ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tekanan sosial muncul dalam bentuk Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), keinginan untuk diterima dalam kelompok sosial, serta pengaruh media sosial sebagai ruang pengawasan digital. Dalam perspektif Foucault, fenomena ini menunjukkan adanya mekanisme kekuasaan yang bekerja melalui pengawasan, normalisasi, dan disiplin diri, sehingga mahasiswa secara tidak sadar menyesuaikan perilakunya dengan standar sosial yang berlaku. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa praktik mengikuti tren merupakan bagian dari konstruksi sosial dalam masyarakat digital. Implikasinya, mahasiswa perlu memiliki kesadaran kritis agar tidak sepenuhnya terjebak dalam tekanan sosial yang memengaruhi pilihan dan identitas diri.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat telah membentuk masyarakat modern menjadi masyarakat risiko yang penuh ketidakpastian, terutama melalui penggunaan media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis risiko sosial akibat ketergantungan masyarakat pada media sosial berdasarkan teori masyarakat risiko Ulrich Beck. Metode yang digunakan adalah State of the Art (SOTA) melalui studi literatur terhadap artikel ilmiah periode 2021-2026. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial memengaruhi perubahan perilaku sosial, dari interaksi langsung menjadi interaksi virtual. Perubahan ini menyebabkan menurunnya kualitas hubungan sosial dan meningkatnya sikap individualis. Selain itu, arus informasi yang cepat memicu munculnya hoaks, cyberbullying, serta kecanduan digital yang berdampak pada kondisi sosial dan psikologis. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa teknologi modern menghasilkan risiko buatan yang berasal dari aktivitas manusia sendiri. Meskipun memberikan kemudahan, media sosial juga menghadirkan risiko yang kompleks.
