Abstract

Developments have opened the door to teaching without geographic boundaries, allowing students to access learning materials from anywhere, even in remote areas. This impacts demands for adaptation of teaching strategies and encourages the development of professionalism in lecturers who not only master technological aspects but also comprehensively understand the dynamics of distance education. Educational technology is essential in changing and improving education in this digital era. This research aims to identify strategies for developing lecturer professionalism in facing distance education challenges in the digital era. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques include interviews and observations of lecturer and student respondents at Al-Ihya Kuningan Islamic University—research results from strategies for developing professionalism in facing educational challenges in the digital era. To be more effective, you can apply several methods: mastery of technology and digital platforms, development of relevant and interactive learning materials, effective online communication skills, and time management skills. By implementing this strategy, lecturers can develop professionalism in facing distance education challenges in the digital era to provide a quality learning experience for students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems related to learning methods that focus on memorization to hinder the development of student's critical thinking skills. Muhammad Abduh criticized it by proposing the concept of renewal related to learning methods of the times. This study aims to describe the tafhim method in learning Muhammad Abduh's perspective and analyze its relevance for improving students' critical thinking skills. This research is a type of library research, using descriptive-qualitative research methods with a philosophical-historical approach. The data collection technique uses documentation, listening, and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique uses content analysis techniques. The result of the research is that Muhammad Abduh said that the memorization method must be equipped with a logical method and can increase understanding such as the tafhim method. This tafhim method consists of several learning models: concept understanding, question and answer, practice and experience, and discussion. The tafhim method proposed by Muhammad Abduh is relevant to the context of contemporary education. Through these methods, students can express their understanding in depth to improve their critical thinking skills

Abstract

This study aims to describe school management in realizing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. The research method used is qualitative. Data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis used qualitative analysis. The results of the study showed that the implementation of all management functions-planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising have been well structured to support the objectives of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) program. In planning, the school has succeeded in identifying student needs, making a schedule with a semi-block system, and optimizing existing resources, although the involvement of external parties is still less than optimal. The organization of this activity has been clearly regulated through the division of committee tasks and the preparation of structured and detailed modules. The implementation of activities is guided by modules that are prepared together and implemented well. Supervision is carried out through joint monitoring for continuous improvement, which also went well. The management of the program activities has succeeded in going through structured management stages, although there are several aspects such as the involvement of external parties that still need improvement. Sustainability evaluation is key to ensuring the appropriateness and achievement of project objectives, as well as optimizing effective character value reinforcement.

Abstract

CNC Milling machine is a machine that is widely used for the manufacture of a component. Product quality will be related to product selling value and consumer satisfaction, therefore the best parameters must be known in order to produce quality products. This study aims to determine the effect of the cutting direction on the structure and surface roughness of the pocket feeding CNC Milling machining process. Experimental methods are used to improve the quality of products produced by CNC Milling machines. The parameters used in this study are variations of spindle speed 500 rpm, 1900 rpm, and 5000 rpm, as well as variations of cutting direction, namely one way and zig-zag. The tests carried out are in the form of surface roughness testing, micro-structure observations, and macro-structures. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The results obtained are the use of the cutting direction parameter affects the quality of the resulting product in the form of structure and surface roughness. The zig-zag cutting direction parameter with spindle speed 5000 rpm obtained the lowest average surface roughness value of 0.87 μm, while the one way cutting direction with spindle speed 500 rpm obtained the highest average roughness value of 2,84 μm. In conclusion, using a higher spindle speed will result in a lower roughness value, while the zig-zag cutting direction produces a lower roughness value and a more even surface structure compared to one way cutting direction.

Abstract

This article aims to find out how legal protection is for small traders who experience a decrease in purchasing power due to the impact of online buying and selling transactions and how the juridical review of online buying and selling transactions has an impact on the micro-economic sector of society. This writing is motivated by the problems of people who own MSME businesses due to the decline in purchasing power due to changes in digitalization, including in the economic aspect. The research method used is the Normative Juridical method with a descriptive analysis approach. The results of this research are that legal protection for MSMEs is regulated in article 50 letter (h) of Law no. 5 of 1999 and in a juridical study of online buying and selling transactions/electronic transactions only regulates transaction procedures, not comprehensive aspects of problems between sectors of the national economy, but the government must take a stand in combining and providing counseling to the national economic sector in Indonesia and facilitate.

Abstract

This article successfully portrayed feminist Islamic education (Islamic education with a female face) at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at the Sunan Ampel State Islamic University FTK UINSA Surabaya. Through qualitative studies, the following exposure results were found. First, Islamic education at FTK UIN Sunan Ampel has a female face (Islamic feminine education). In the sense that the number of female students is more dominant compared to male students. This is related to the prospect of FTK making graduates as educators, while women's instincts are close to education. So the reason why many women choose the Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty (FTK) as a place of study is because they want to become educators (teachers). This has resulted in the number of dominant women compared to men at FTK UIN Sunan Ampel. Second, the main motivation for women choosing to study at FTK UIN Sunan Ampel is because they are encouraged to become teachers. Encouragement sometimes arises from oneself, parents, family, or the environment. The majority of women who study at FTK aspire to become teachers. For them the teacher is a world that is close to women's instincts

Abstract

The challenge in the life of religious people today is the extremism movement. Extremism is part of the form of a transnational movement that can have two pole dimensions, the left pole (secularism) and the right pole (textual-radicalism). In responding to this challenge, the religious moderation movement needs to be realized as a counter in dealing with it. This article explains the importance of mainstreaming religious moderation through aswaja an-nahdliyah education in schools in Indonesia. Through reading for text on relevant documents and content analysis, this article produces three substantive ideas. First, the mainstreaming of religious moderation needs to be realized in various fields and levels in every element of life, especially in educational institutions. Second, aswaja an-nahdliyah education (tawazun, tasamuh, tawasuth) contains teachings that are relevant to the substance of the policy and practice of religious moderation. Third, mainstreaming religious moderation can be realized through the practice of aswaja an-nahdliyah education in schools in Indonesia. Therefore, in order to equip the nation's children with the understanding and behavior of religious moderation, and prevent extremism movements, aswaja an-nahdliyah education needs to be made into the curriculum in every school in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the development of digital technology, including blockchain technology, cloud computing and big data contributing to companies, as well as accounting and auditing practices. The study method uses a systematic literature review (SLR) with a bibliometric approach. The results of the study show that the consistent use of blockchain technology, cloud computing and big data has contributed to increasing organizational effectiveness and efficiency, but the problem of high costs, as well as data security and confidentiality are the most important issues in using these three digital technologies.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine how the secular media in Surakarta represent Islam in the case of Charlie Hebdo. Therefore, this study used discourse analysis of Theo van Leeuwen focusing on how the subject or actor of the show in the media. This study concluded that the media represent Islam not only with “Western ideology” through idioms such as radical Islamist militants and terrorists, but also with "Islamic ideology". It is done through the construction of Islam as a religion of moderation and delegitimize Charlie Hebdo as magazine satyr abusing freedom. Various strategies are used ranging from strategy passivation to interdetermination. In this case, there are two poles of attraction in both media, namely the Western and Islamic ideology. If both media are quoting from Western sources, the Western ideology dominates the media narrative. Conversely, when both media used Islamic sources, the influence of Islamic ideology dominates the narrative of both media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya dampak dari pandemi Covid-19 yang memengaruhi segala sendi kehidupan masyarakat termasuk di dalamnya kehidupan rumah tangga. Timbulnya berbagai permasalahan di dalam rumah tangga yang tidak menutup kemungkinan terjadinya perceraian. Oleh karena itu, peran Badan Penasihatan Pembinaan dan Pelestarian Perkawinan (BP4) di masa pandemi Covid-19 sangat penting untuk mengurangi terjadinya perceraian dengan melakukan penyuluhan atau sosialisasi kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan Badan Penasihatan Pembinaan dan Pelestarian Perkawinan (BP4) dalam meminimalisasi terjadinya perceraian di masa pandemi Covid-19 di Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Banua Lawas dan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya perceraian di masa pandemi Covid-19 di Kecamatan Banua Lawas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian field research. Sedangkan data yang dikumpulkan berupa data primer dan sekunder, data yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik wawancara langsung, observasi lapangan dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa peranan BP4 dalam meminimalisasi perceraian yaitu menyelenggarakan kursus calon pengantin, mengembangkan pembinaan keluarga sakinah, memberikan pendidikan pra nikah. Badan Penasihatan Pembinaan dan Pelestarian Perkawinan (BP4) juga berperan dalam hal konsultasi, mediasi dan advokasi perkawinan dalam upaya untuk meminimalisasi terjadinya perceraian di Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Banua Lawas. Pada umumnya perceraian di Kecamatan Banua Lawas di masa pandemi Covid-19 dikarenakan faktor-faktor tertentu seperti masalah ekonomi yang tidak stabil, adanya orang ketiga, kurangnya komunikasi dan adanya kekerasan dalam rumah tangga yang mendorong pasangan suami istri berselisih.
