Abstract

This community engagement program aims to empower MSMEs in Dusun Pudukku, Pundi Lemo Village, Enrekang Regency through product innovation of dangke chips by developing new flavor variants and market-ready packaging. Dangke, a traditional local dairy product, has traditionally been sold in raw form with limited added value. Through a participatory approach, the program involved 15 MSME actors in technical training on dangke chip production with flavor variants including original, sweet-spicy, lime, and scallion, as well as packaging design using labeled PP standing pouches. Organoleptic testing by 50 local panelists showed that the sweet-spicy variant received the highest score in flavor and aroma. Packaging innovation also received a favorable response with an average score of 3.8, indicating improved consumer perception. This initiative increased partner income by 25% and facilitated a business transformation from raw to ready-to-eat products. The findings demonstrate that product and packaging innovations significantly enhance the competitiveness of local MSMEs.

Abstract

English Language has many unique properties among which are words; the most tangible elements of a language. Morphology has an impact on Language learners’ ability to both listen and speak efficiently in English. Indeed, the most serious problems of teaching English have to do with the quality of the teachers available for teaching the language as nearly all such teachers are L2 speakers. The paper aims to broaden the scope and knowledge of students and their teachers on word use and word formation through paradigmatic and syntagmatic relations. Accordingly, the possibility of effecting appreciable improvement in the quality of the English spoken in the country as a whole would appear very remote if the study of words and their relationships continue to be neglected in schools. Abstract

Chitin and chitosan are polysaccharides from the exoskeleton of crustaceans such as shrimp and crabs, chitin has several benefits if added to fish feed including functioning as a source of fiber that can improve digestion in fish, increase metabolism, and support the immune system of fish. However, with its high fiber content, chitin needs to be simplified into chitosan so that it is easier to process by the fish's digestive system, with the extraction method using chemical compounds, we can get pure chitosan that can be applied to fish feed. The purpose of this review is to determine the best dose of adding chitin or chitosan to fish feed, the method used is a descriptive method through a literature review study of various research journals. The effective dose obtained in this review is the addition of chitin around 0.04% - 8%, while for chitosan it ranges from 4% - 10%.

Abstract

The problem of bullying is rampant in education, especially in junior high schools.  This research aims to educate students and raise awareness to prevent bullying. Based on the results of research at SMPN 16 Semarang, it was found that verbal bullying was rampant in the school environment. The form of community service implementation in this junior high school through bullying psychoeducation, has several stages, namely; an introduction, pre-test, material about bullying, post-test, declaration agreement (writing cartarsis and signatures), and consumption. The results showed that psychoeducation about bullying applied to students of class VIII-H SMPN 16 Semarang had a significant effect on increasing students' knowledge about bullying.

Abstract

This study aims to develop scrapbook media in Civic Education subjects with a focus on the material of Indonesian cultural diversity for fourth grade elementary school students. The main problem in Civic Education learning is the lack of interesting and interactive learning media, so that students have difficulty in understanding the concept of cultural diversity. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the study involved 25 fourth grade students of SDN 2 Bandung Baru. The research instruments were in the form of expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the developed scrapbook media received a very valid assessment from material experts (88.5%), media experts (90.2%), and education practitioners (87.8%). Student responses to the scrapbook media showed a very positive category with a percentage of 92.3%. The increase in student learning outcomes was also significant with an average pretest score of 68.4 increasing to 84.6 on the posttest. Scrapbook media has proven effective in   improving students' understanding of Indonesian cultural diversity and can be recommended as an alternative PKN learning media in elementary schools

Abstract

This research is an experimental study to analyze the improvement of fine motor skills in early childhood. The subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 years, the question used was observation. The data collection methods include: the steps to implement educational games from used materials, tests before the treatment of educational games made from used materials, and after the treatment of making educational games. The data analysis technique used was to determine the differences in the value of each aspect of the pre-test and post-test on the dependent variable (fine motor skills) using the T test. From the results of the t test to determine the effect of educational tools made from used materials on the fine motor development of children aged 5-6 years at TK Permata Ibu Surabaya, there is a difference between the pre and post-test scores. So, there is the influence of the use of educational games from used materials on fine motor skills development in children aged 5-6. The test results show that t count of 20,123 is greater than t-table 2,064 with a significance level of 95%.

Abstract

Women of reproductive age diagnosed with cancer often face significant emotional distress and uncertainty regarding fertility preservation and reproductive planning. Despite advancements in oncofertility care, many patients report inadequate support and limited access to reproductive education. This study explores the role of maternity nurses in providing emotional and educational support to reproductive-aged cancer patients. Using a qualitative descriptive design, in-depth interviews were conducted with maternity nurses and female cancer patients to capture their experiences and perceptions. Data were analyzed thematically and interpreted through the lens of Patient-Centered Care and Self-Efficacy theories. The findings reveal that maternity nurses play a crucial role in delivering empathetic counseling, clarifying fertility-related decisions, and fostering psychological resilience. Participants reported feeling more empowered, emotionally supported, and better informed about reproductive options due to their interactions with maternity nurses. This study concludes that integrating maternity nurses into interdisciplinary oncology teams enhances holistic care and addresses the unmet educational and emotional needs of women navigating cancer during their reproductive years. Further training and policy development are recommended to formalize their role in oncofertility services.

Abstract

Efektivitas memiliki peranan penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Dalam konteks ini, efektivitas dimaknai sebagai tingkat pencapaian tujuan yang menunjukkan keberhasilan implementasi suatu program. Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai kebijakan pendidikan yang relatif baru tentu menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam penerapannya, termasuk kesiapan guru dan institusi sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana Kurikulum Merdeka telah diterapkan secara efektif di tingkat Sekolah Atas (SMA). Kajian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka dan berlandaskan pada teori efektivitas menurut Solichin Abdul Wahab, yang mengemukakan bahwa efektivitas suatu program dapat diukur melalui ketercapaian tujuan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dampak dari kurikulum ini bervariasi tergantung pada kesiapan sekolah dan kompetensi pendidik. Meskipun demikian, sebagian besar penerapan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dan partisipasi siswa. Dengan demikian, pemahaman terhadap efektivitas implementasi kurikulum ini dapat menjadi dasar untuk penyempurnaan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif dan berkualitas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kecemasan belajar matematika pada siswa SMP. Kecemasan matematika merupakan respons emosional negatif berupa rasa takut, gugup, dan tidak nyaman saat menghadapi pelajaran matematika, yang dapat mengganggu kinerja kognitif dan prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel sebanyak 41 siswa kelas VIII B dari salah satu SMP di Karawang yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket non-tes yang terdiri dari 28 pernyataan yang mencakup tiga aspek kecemasan belajar, yaitu kognitif, afektif, dan fisiologis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa, yaitu sekitar 35%, berada pada tingkat kecemasan sedang. Pada aspek kognitif, sebanyak 37% siswa mengalami kecemasan yang ditandai dengan kurangnya kepercayaan diri, kesulitan berkonsentrasi, dan rasa takut gagal. Aspek afektif menunjukkan 34% siswa merasa gugup, gelisah, dan kurang senang saat pembelajaran. Sementara pada aspek fisiologis, 33% siswa mengalami reaksi fisik seperti mual, berkeringat dingin, sakit kepala, dan jantung berdebar. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kecemasan belajar matematika cukup umum dialami siswa dan perlu mendapatkan perhatian dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The electricity crisis in Indonesia is caused by the decreasing supply of fossil fuels for power plants. One solution to overcome this problem is the Dye-sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) which can convert sunlight into electrical energy by utilizing environmentally friendly organic dyes. This study has succeeded in making and determining DSSC using organic dyes derived from sappanwood extract with pH variations (4, 7, and 10). Each pH level produces efficiency values ​​of 0.01714%, 0.05497% and 0.03174%. VLC with a chloroform: methanol ratio (5:5 and 1:9) was then characterized using UV-Vis, FTIR, and GC-MS instruments. Characterization of sappanwood dye extract using UV-Vis instrument showed absorption at wavelengths of 243, 285, 445, and 541. FTIR instrument provided information on functional groups –OH at wave number 3415.93 cm-1 and C-O-C at wave number 1255.66 cm-1 which are characteristic of isoflavonoid compounds.
