Abstract

Outdoor learning, a pedagogical approach conducted outside traditional classroom settings, leverages natural environments to enhance educational experiences. This study examines the efforts of the Sidoarjo District Education and Culture Department in addressing challenges to implementing outdoor learning in primary schools and improving its overall quality. As a descriptive qualitative research method, data were collected through snowball sampling, in-depth interviews, documentation, and observations. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model, encompassing data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the department has adopted several strategies to optimize outdoor learning, including meticulous planning of logistics and activities, attentive oversight, enforcement of compliance through sanctions, provision of necessary facilities, and continuous monitoring of participating schools. These efforts aim to overcome logistical and interpretative challenges, ensuring outdoor learning is impactful and aligned with educational objectives. The study highlights the potential of outdoor learning to foster holistic student development and recommends further standardization, educator training, and collaboration with local communities to enhance its implementation.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi yang terfokus pada metode pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa di SMKN 1 Sidayu, pembelajaran yang dilakukan terkesan monoton sehingga situasi pembelajaran di dalam kelas menjadi membosankan. Kondisi tersebut akan mempengaruhi hasil belajar dikarenakan tingkat ketertarikan siswa terhadap pembelajaran relatif kurang sehingga siswa menjadi pasif. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka diperlukan inovasi agar pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik. Salah satu inovasi pembelajaran ialah mengembangkan trainer elektronika dasar berbasis problem-based learning. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dan respons siswa terhadap perangkat pembelajaran berbasis problem based learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D, yang mencakup tahapan pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Uji coba dilakukan pada 37 siswa kelas X di SMK Negeri 1 Sidayu. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi angket validasi media, materi, pembelajaran, respons siswa, serta soal pre-test dan post-test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, seluruh komponen yang telah dikembangkan telah valid sehingga media yang dikembangkan layak untuk diuji coba kepada siswa. Hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan (sig. 0,041). Respons kecocokan siswa terhadap media LKPD berbasis PBL sangat baik. Dari penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMK kelas X pada materi komponen elektronika. Penggunaan trainer pun memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada para siswa akan komponen yang akan dipelajari.

Abstract

Expressive writing, a therapeutic technique shown to alleviate emotional distress, has not been widely adopted in Islamic education despite its proven benefits. This study aims to integrate expressive writing with Islamic principles to support anxiety relief among adolescents in educational settings. Specifically, it compares the outcomes of this intervention in state schools versus Islamic schools, examines gender differences, and assesses the impact of participants’ personalities and social support on the effectiveness of the intervention. The study employed a pretest-posttest control experimental design involving 124 adolescents aged 13 to 15 years from a state school and an Islamic junior high school. Participants were selected based on self-reported anxiety symptoms measured by the Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7 (GAD-7) questionnaire, which has demonstrated strong psychometric properties, with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.89, indicating high reliability and construct validity supported by correlations with other established anxiety measures. The intervention included expressive writing exercises integrated with Islamic teachings, and anxiety levels were measured pre and post-intervention. The results show that in the state school, the intervention significantly reduced anxiety levels, with an average decrease of 2 points in anxiety scores (p = 0.04). In the Islamic school, the intervention resulted in an average increase of 2.4 points in scores. Integrating expressive writing with Islamic principles can effectively address anxiety among students, creating a more supportive and holistic educational environment. The culturally and spiritually relevant framework enhances the therapeutic impact, indicating significant potential for this approach in both state and Islamic schools.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the role of Islamic education in overcoming various educational problems in the technological era. In essence, education has a very large impact on the progress of human civilization. With education, students are equipped to face challenges in the future. Along with the times, technology is developing rapidly, including artificial intelligence, Islamic education is able to show its existence. This study uses qualitative research with literature studies. The stages carried out in this study were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that Islamic education needs to be continuously improved so that it can provide proportional implications according to the times. Islamic education combines scientific values both intellectually and spiritually. This can be used as a solution to overcome various problems faced in the world of education in the technological era.

Abstract

This research discusses an analytical study of mothers' knowledge of children's breastfeeding rights from a legal and Islamic perspective as an effort to prevent stunting. Breastfeeding rights have been regulated in Government Regulation Number 33 of 2012 concerning Exclusive Breastfeeding in Article 6 “Every mother who gives birth must provide exclusive breastfeeding to the baby she gives birth to”. Although it has been regulated, the Basic Health Research data for 2021 shows that 52.5%, or only half of the 2.3 million babies aged less than six months receive exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia. One of the impacts of children not getting breast milk is stunting. Data from 2020 shows that toddlers who are not exclusively breastfed are stunted by 91.7%. Stunting is a significant problem in Indonesia today; child malnutrition in the form of stunting, low body weight, and wasting continues to occur in children under five years of age. The large number of stunting that occur in toddlers who are not breastfed shows that there is still low awareness of mothers in providing breast milk even though the regulation of breastfeeding is very clear from legislation and Islamic law, there are still many mothers who do not offer breast milk to their children. Urgency of research Carry out research on children's rights to breast milk to prevent stunting. The research method that will be used in this research is empirical legal research using primary data and secondary data. The results showed that all respondents knew that breast milk is very beneficial for children and is taught in Islam, but only 42% knew that breast milk can prevent stunting. Despite knowing that breast milk is very helpful for children, 83% of respondents did not know that breast milk is a child's right that must be given. Mothers consider breastfeeding to be a mother's right, which means that mothers can choose whether or not to breastfeed their children. Breastfeeding as a child's right is not understood by the community, so many mothers ignore this right.

Abstract

An excellent generation with noble character and knowledge is the goal of implementing education. The implementation of appropriate learning can provide good learning outcomes. The PjBL learning model is one of the cooperative learning models that requires students to work together in completing a predetermined project. The purpose of this study was to analyze student learning outcomes before and after the PjBL learning process and project-based learning outcomes. This study uses a one group pre-test post-test design, a sample of 15 students using the PjBL learning model as the treatment applied and analyzing the learning outcomes obtained by students during the learning process. This study concludes that through the implementation of the PjBL learning model, it provides differences in learning outcomes before and after the learning process is held on the material of energy mechanics concepts in the thermodynamics course with a value 0f 0,000. In addition, based on the research results obtained, the results of project-based learning produce good average values with an average value reaching 90% of student were able to complete the tasks thad had been given

Abstract

AbstractIssues related to teacher professionalism may differ among countries. In Indonesia, the problems of teacher professionalism are connected to pre-service education and the lack of continuous professional development. In Malaysia, the major issues are concerned with teaching and management skills of teachers. In New Zealand, teachers face major issues related to work overload and the feeling of poor payment. Using a qualitative approach, this conceptual research paper discusses the issues of teacher professionalism and how the government takes roles in the continuing professional development of teachers in Indonesia, Malaysia and New Zealand. The research data was collected from the existing literature containing descriptions and discussions on the research topic and then analyzed using content analysis. The major findings of the study include that these three counties have issued laws, legislation, and regulations regarding the teacher profession. Then, teachers in the three countries are required to have the teacher’s standard competence embodied with a certificate. In addition,  before entering the classroom, all New Zealand teachers must have a certificate of teaching eligibility, while in Malaysia and Indonesia, the teacher certification is executed when teachers are already in the service. Finally, compared to Indonesia and Malaysia, New Zealand has a complete plan for improving teacher professionalism. The study concludes that the three countries put serious effort into improving the teaching profession. Similar research with more country samples would enrich the understanding of ways in which teacher professional development is conducted, thus providing valuable lessons for future reflections.AbstrakMasalah terkait dengan profesionalisme guru mungkin berbeda di setiap negara. Di Indonesia, masalah profesionalisme guru terkait dengan pendidikan pra-jabatan dan kurangnya pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan. Di Malaysia masalah utama berkaitan dengan keterampilan mengajar dan manajemen guru. Di Selandia Baru, guru menghadapi masalah besar terkait dengan kelebihan beban kerja dan persepsi terhadap rendahnya gaji guru.  Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, artikel penelitian konseptual ini membahas masalah profesionalisme guru dan bagaimana pemerintah berperan dalam pengembangan profesional guru berkelanjutan di Indonesia, Malaysia dan Selandia Baru. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dari literatur yang berisi deskripsi dan diskusi tentang topik penelitian, dan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis konten. Temuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa tiga negara ini telah mengeluarkan undang-undang, peraturan perundang-undangan, dan peraturan tentang profesi guru. Kemudian, guru di tiga negara harus memiliki kompetensi standar guru yang diwujudkan dengan sertifikat. Selain itu, sebelum memasuki ruang kelas, semua guru Selandia Baru harus memiliki sertifikat kelayakan mengajar, sementara di Malaysia dan Indonesia sertifikasi guru dilaksanakan ketika guru sudah berada dalam layanan. Akhirnya, dibandingkan dengan Indonesia dan Malaysia, Selandia Baru memiliki rencana yang lebih lengkap dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa ketiga negara melakukan upaya serius dalam meningkatkan profesi guru. Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bermula dari masalah yang ditemukan saat observasi di SMKN 1 Sidoarjo, salah satunya bahan ajar yang digunakan yaitu perangkat trainer sensor belum dioptimalkan untuk menunjang pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media atau bahan ajar yang layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menganalisis validitas, respon siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode penelitian model ADDIE yang meliputi analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 11 TAV SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo sebanyak 34 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one-group pretest and posttest. Hasil dari pengembangan trainer dan jobsheet sensor menunjukkan tingkat kevalidan yang tinggi, dengan persentase 93% untuk kevalidan trainer dan 90% untuk kevalidan jobsheet. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut trainer dan jobsheet dapat dikategorikan sangat valid. Nilai persentase respon siswa mencapai 85,6%, sehingga trainer dan jobsheet dinyatakan sangat mudah digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Sementara itu, hasil belajar siswa didapatkan melalui uji coba pretest dan posttest menggunakan paired sample test yang menghasilkan nilai signifikansi < 0,001 (kurang dari 0,05). Dengan kata lain, ada perbedaan pencapaian hasil belajar kognitif siswa ketika belum menggunakan dan sudah menggunakan media pembelajaran. Sementara itu, hasil analisis skor akhir siswa diperoleh dari one sample test dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,001 (kurang dari 0,05). Nilai tersebut menyatakan bahwa hasil belajar siswa memenuhi standar KKTP. Oleh karena itu, berdasarkan kedua hasil tersebut diketahui bahwa hasil pembelajaran meningkat setelah menggunakan media sensor.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of the factors that influence the implementation of corporate social and environmental responsibility disclosures in property, real estate, and construction sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015- 2020. The first step of this research is to prepare a framework for the research to be made, and collect data from www.idx.go.id by downloading the annual report of the sampled company following the sample criteria and variables required in the study. The sample obtained from this study is 129 samples and the data is processed using SPSS 21. The results of this study indicate that the factors that influence Corporate Social Responsibility in property, real estate, and construction sector companies are variable size, and managerial ownership. While the variables Leverage, Growth, and the size of the board of commissioners have no effect.

Abstract

تواجه مهارة الكلام باللغة العربية تحديات كبيرة في بيئات التعليم الحديثة، خاصة في المعاهد الساعية إلى تنميتها. يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل تأثير البيئة اللغوية في معهد دار الفلاح أمثلتي بجبارا على تحسين مهارة الكلام، وفقًا للنظرية السلوكية لسكينر. اعتمد البحث على المنهج النوعي الوصفي، حيث جُمعت البيانات من خلال الملاحظة، المقابلات، والاستبانات. أظهرت النتائج أنها لتكوين البيئة اللغوية تتكون من ثلاث مراحل يعني التخطيط ، التنفيذ، والتقويم. أن بيئة لغوية محفزة ومنظمة، تشمل التعزيز الإيجابي والإشراف المستمر، تُسهم في الاستخدام اليومي والتلقائي للغة العربية. كما أثبت النظام التعليمي فعاليته في تعزيز مهارات التواصل والانضباط والثقة بالنفس. يساهم هذا البحث في تقديم رؤى عملية للمؤسسات التعليمية لتحسين تعليم اللغة العربية من خلال تهيئة بيئة لغوية
