Abstract

Efforts to empower elementary school teachers through socialization and training activities for making local wisdom-based books were carried out at SDN 021 Air Molek, Air Molek II Village, aiming to improve teachers' skills in designing and creating books that integrate the local wisdom of Indragiri Hulu Regency. The training method included theoretical sessions on local wisdom, writing techniques, and book design, as well as hands-on practice in book preparation. The results of the training showed an increase in teachers' skills, with three books published discussing the culture of surat kapal, the history of gibaga, and the history of kembang harum. Participants showed great enthusiasm and applied the new knowledge in their work. However, there were challenges related to a lack of experience among some teachers in book-making, which requires continued support and training. The implications of these findings suggest that with improvements in support and training, this activity has the potential to have a greater positive impact on the quality of education and the preservation of local wisdom in the area. Improved teacher skills are expected to expand the range of locally-based teaching materials and contribute significantly to education in Indragiri Hulu district.

Abstract

The service activity was carried out with the aim of improving students’ literacy and numeracy skills at state elementary school 12 Beringin Jaya through the use of storybooks based on Indregiri Hulu culture. Literacy anda numeracy are basic skills that are very important for elementary school students to master as a foundation for learning at a more advanced level. However, conventional approaches are often less able to attract students’ interest, especially when the material presented is not directly related to their environment or culture. To overcome this, this activity develops and implements a storybooks that integrates Indragiri Hulu culture values. This storybook is designed not only to strengthen reading and counting skilss, but also to foster a sense of love and pride for local cultural heritage. The result of this service showed a significant improvement in students’ literacy and numeracy skills, as well as an increase in their local cultural awareness. Overall, this activity is expected to make a positive contribution to the development of education at state elementary school 012 Beringin Jaya and become a model that can be replicated in other schools in Indragiri Hulu and surrounding areas.

Abstract

Mutu pendidikan adalah penilaian terhadap kualitas pendidikan berdasarkan keberhasilan lembaga pendidikan dalam mengelola sekolah secara efektif, sehingga menghasilkan peserta didik yang berkualitas dan mendapatkan kepercayaan serta kepuasan dari masyarakat. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yaitu dengan implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah (MBS). tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi MBS dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SDN 018 Pematang Manggis. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian mencakup Kepala Sekolah, guru, staf administrasi, serta siswa. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa implementasi MBS di SDN 018 Pematang Manggis mencakup pengelolaan guru, fasilitas dan pendanaan sekolah. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan MBS memiliki kaitan erat dengan peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SDN 018 Pematang Manggis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hasil belajar IPS siswa yang diberikan perlakuan dalam pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran pop-up book dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan buku tema saja. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 42 Pekanbaru yang terdiri dari kelas IV B dan kelas IV C, dimana kelas IV C menjadi kelas eksperimen dan kelas IV B menjadi kelas kontrol yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes. Berdasarkan hasil uji hopotesis diperoleh nilai signifikan (2-tailed) sebesar 0,012 < 0,05 dengan rata-rata kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai (mean) 82,97 sedangkan kelas control memperoleh nilai (mean) 76,83. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan media pembelajaran pop-up book sebesar 22,75. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran pop-up book terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 42 Pekanbaru dengan besar pengaruhnya sebesar 68,8% dalam kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa terhadap penerapan model kooperatif tipe TGT dengan menggunakan rangking one pada mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas IV SDN 103 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya hasil belajar IPAS siswa dengan KKTP 75 dari 26 siswa yang mencapai KKM hanya 12 (46,15%). Sedangkan yang belum mencapai KKTP adalah 14 (53,84%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pada aktivitas guru siklus I dengan persentase 79,17% kategori cukup dan siklus II dengan persentase 91,67% kategori sangat baik, aktivitas siswa siklus I dengan persentase 70,83% kategori cukup dan siklus II dengan persentase 91,67% kategori sangat baik, hasil belajar siklus I dengan persentase peningkatan 21,23% dari skor dasar dan siklus II dengan persentase peningkatan 29,46% dari skor dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms of bullying behavior that occur in elementary schools, to find out the factors that cause bullying behavior in elementar and to find out efforts to deal with bullying problems in elementary schools. This type of research is qualitative with a case study approach. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. The results of this study show the forms of bullying behavior that occur in elementary schools, namely saying rude, mocking parents' names, mocking with unique calls, insulting, scorning and cheering. The factors that cause bullying behavior in elementary schools are family factors: a complete family but both parents are busy working so that they receive less attention and family factors that experience economic difficulties Mass media factor: By looking at mobile phones and television, students can be seen imitating the movie scenes they watched, as well as imitating the way they speak. Peer factor: students who do abusive words caused by free and unkind associations. The impact of bullying behavior is for the victim: not confident, being quiet, lonely, moody in class, becoming unenthusiastic to participate in learning, while for the perpetrator of bullying: Bullying perpetrators have minimal empathy in interacting with society. The efforts to handle bullying cases by providing socialization by the foundation, making strict regulations regarding bullying, setting an example, singing anti-bullying songs, teaching students to fight bullying and the existence of bullying posters in the school environment.

Abstract

Education is the main means in the formation and creation of quality human resources, both through education at home and through education at school. Without education, it will be difficult to produce good quality human resources that can determine the future of the nation itself. This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership and school culture on the performance of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) teachers in State Senior High Schools throughout Pekanbaru City. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The research sample consisted of 51 PPKn teachers selected using saturated sampling techniques. The results of the study showed that principal leadership and school culture had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with principal leadership having a greater contribution than school culture. Simultaneously, both variables contributed 79.4% to improving teacher performance. Based on these findings, it is recommended that principals implement a more participatory and transformative leadership style, and strengthen a collaborative and innovative school culture in order to improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

Background: Learning media is very important in improving the quality of the learning process in primary schools. In the learning process there are still many teachers who use conventional learning due to the lack of understanding and skills of teachers in using innovative learning media. This service aims to improve teachers' understanding of the benefits of learning media and the use of Card Match Circle (CMC) media for efforts to improve the quality of the learning process in elementary schools. Method: The service method used consists of four stages, namely sosialisation, training, technology application and evaluation and assistance. Results: The results of the service implementation show that there is an increase in teacher understanding of the use of CMC media with an N-Gain of 0.65 with a medium category and teacher understanding of the use of CMC media in learning with an N-Gain of 0.75 with a high category. CMC media can increase learning motivation and make it easier for students to receive learning materials. Conclusion: This service can be concluded that there is an increase in teacher understanding of CMC media and its use and CMC learning media is stated to improve the quality of the learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

Tradisi Lampu Colok dilaksanakan dibulan Ramadhan, dan tradisi ini menjadi media untuk syiar Islam yang memiliki banyak nilai-nilai karakter. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis nilai-nilai karakter yang terkandung dalam tradisi Lampu Colok di Kabupaten Bengkalis Provinsi Riau. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam tradisi Lampu Colok terdapat nilai-nilai karakter seperti gotong royong, religiusitas, kejujuran, toleransi, disiplin, kreativitas, cinta tanah air, kepedulian sosial, dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Nilai-nilai ini perlu diajarkan kepada setiap generasi masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya di Kabupaten Bengkalis. Oleh karena itu, tradisi ini harus dilestarikan dan diperkenalkan kepada seluruh lapisan masyarakat, terutama di Kabupaten Bengkalis. Tradisi Lampu Colok bermula dari penggunaan lampu minyak sebagai pengganti penerangan listrik di masa lalu. Warga yang pergi ke masjid dan surau membawa lampu minyak untuk menerangi perjalanan mereka dan saat ini, masyarakat menjadi lebih kreatif dengan memasang lampu colok sepanjang jalan
