This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Design Thinking-based STEM learning in improving students' critical thinking skills in science learning. This research is a type of meta-analysis research. Data sources in the study came from 100 national and international journals published from 2017-2023. Search for data sources through google scholar, Eric, Wiley, Taylor of Francis, Sciencedirect, and ProQuest. Data collection techniques through direct observation through the journal database. The keywords used in the search are STEM model, Design Thinking, Critical thinking skills and Science learning. Data analysis technique is quantitative descriptive analysis with JSAP application. The effect size of each study on the STEM learning model based on design thinking in science learning is 0.84 with large criteria. The results of the study can be concluded that the STEM learning model based on design thinking is effective for improving critical thinking skills in science learning. STEM learning model based on design thinking is very good to be applied in science learning in Indonesia

This study aims to investigate the effect of an ethnobiology learning model based on design thinking on students' critical thinking skills. The research is a type of quasi-experimental research with a randomized control group pretest-postest design. The population of this study came from SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci. The research sample came from two classes, namely class XI MIPA (experimental class) and class MIPA 3 (control class) totaling 42 students. The experimental class group used the ethnobiology learning model while the control class group used the conventional learning model. The sampling technique is random sampling. The research instrument was an objective test of critical thinking skills. Data analysis was quantitative statistical analysis with the help of SPSS version 26. The results of this study showed that the average value of posttest and N-gain critical thinking skills of classes that obtained ethnobiology learning based on design thinking was better than classes that used conventional learning. The t-test results show that the ethnobiology learning model based on design thinking has an effect on critical thinking skills sig. < 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05). Students' thinking skills in the experimental class obtained an average score of 82.30 with an N-gain value of 0.72

One of the factors for improving the quality of education in schools is teaching materials. Based on the results of observations at SMAN 1 Sitiung students have not used e-modules but use electronic teaching materials in the form of pdf files downloaded from the internet and only in the form of writing and a few pictures. Based on the questionnaire results, it is known that students have difficulty understanding the concept of the respiratory system material. This causes low student learning outcomes as evidenced by the daily test scores that are still below the minimum completeness criteria. So, it takes teaching materials that can help in visualizing the subject matter. This type of research is Plomp model development research which consists of three stages: the initial investigation stage, the development or prototyping stage, and the assessment stage. The research subjects were class XI students at SMAN 1 Sitiung for the 2022-2023 academic year. Validation results by the validator on e-module-based Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) show an average grade 88.05% (very valid). Practical results by Biology teachers showed an average score of 87.50% (very practical) and 88.28% students (very practical). Effectiveness test data has effectiveness with very effective criteria in terms of cognitive competency assessment with an average of 83.59, affective with an average of 84.24, and psychomotor with an average of 81.08

The purpose of this research is to produce an android based ebook in Animal Ecology courses that is valid, practical and effective. This research is research and development using the Plomp model. The results of the validation assessment by the validator of the android-based e-book in the Animal Ecology course showed an average value of 82.33% (very valid). The results of the practicality assessment by lecturers of the Animal Ecology course showed an average value of 81.5% (very practical) and student assessment results obtained an average value of 91.64% (very practical). The results of the effectiveness test of Android-based e-books show that Android-based e-books are very effective. Thus, it can be concluded that the developed Android-based e-book is very valid, very practical, and very effective.

The educational process aims to make students master science. Education is also very important in shaping the personality and behavior of students. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of the active learning learning process in MTs Negeri throughout Tanah Datar Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative,the data analysis used is by scoring, presenting data and determining the frequency of implementing active learning for teachers and students of MTs Negeri in Tanah Datar District. The results of the analysis of the implementation of active learning with a percentage of 30% in the frequent category, 33.33% in the sometimes category and 6.67% in the never category. Where the average implementation of the active learning learning process for MTs Negeri teachers in Tanah Datar Regency is 87.96% which is included in the frequent category and means having good criteria. As for the results of the implementation of each variable such as the use of learning models by 82.5%, lesson planning by 93.3%, implementation of learning 87.2% implementation of evaluation 88.6% and obstacles in learning 69, 3% and the negative impact and positive impact of learning by 81.3%. Implementation of active learning by students gets the value of each variable such as learning planning with a percentage of 73.9% after that the implementation of learning is 83.2% learning evaluation is 90% obstacles in learning 53.9% % and positive and negative impacts of learning by 62%.

The development of Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on a scientific approach to material on the human circulation system and digestive system is based on the teaching materials used at SMA Negeri 16 Padang in the form of Student Worksheets (LKPD). The LKPD is not complete in terms of components or in terms of LKPD elements. The LKPD used only takes the form of sheets containing questions, and does not use an approach that contains activities or learning steps so that it cannot train students' science process skills. This research aims to produce LKPD based on a scientific approach to material on the human circulation system and digestive system that is valid, practical and effective to improve students' science process skills. This research is development research using the Plomp model which consists of three stages, namely preliminary research phase, development or prototyping phase and assessment phase. The results of the LKPD validity test by the validator obtained a value of 84.67% with very valid criteria. The results of the LKPD practicality test obtained a score of 90.74% by teachers and 88.30% by students with very practical criteria. The results of the T-test showed differences in values between the experimental and control classes with a significance of 0.000 each in the circulatory system and digestive system material. It can be concluded that LKPD based on a scientific approach is very valid, very practical and effective in improving science process skills.

The Republic of Indonesia Police are currently improving themselves to gain public sympathy, one of which is by providing satisfactory service. This is a concrete step by the police in creating a humane and friendly police force. In addition, providing excellent service to the community in the form of administrative services with good behavior and driving licenses is one proof of the good performance of the Indonesian police, thereby increasing public confidence in the role of the police in society. Based on this explanation, this research was conducted to see the performance of police services in the city of Mataram, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. To achieve this goal, the scientific method is used in the form of descriptive quantitative testing by presenting natural/as-is respondents' responses. The research informants were people who made documents of good behavior and driving licenses at the Mataram city police office during the period January - August 2022. The number of correspondents involved in this study were 400 people, who were taken at simple random. Based on the survey results, information was obtained that the community was satisfied with the services provided by the Mataram city police for the management of good behavior certificates and driving licenses. The community feels that the services provided are in accordance with procedures, on time, and the attitude of the service staff is friendly.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perbandingan hasil tes keterampilan membaca antara pembelajaran yang mengunakan media artikel ilmiah online dan artikel ilmiah versi cetak bagi para mahasiswa. Penelitian dilakukan di awal semester ganjil 2022/2023. Populasi penelitian adalah 69 mahasiswa S-1 Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang mengikuti dan submit tes via google form berbasis artikel ilmiah online dan artikel ilmiah cetak. Jumlah ini terbagi dari 35 mahasiswa baru S-1 Ilmu Komputer dan 34 mahasiswa baru S-1 Ilmu Komunikasi. Sampel ditetapkan 59 mahasiswa yang terbagi dari 30 mahasiswa baru S-1 Ilmu Komputer dan 29 mahasiswa baru S-1 Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi; ditarik secara random sederhana dari setiap anggota kelompok populasi. Instrumen penelitian adalah tes pilihan ganda 5 opsi via google form. Data dianalisis menggunakan prosedur statistik inferensial parametrik karena uji asumsi terpenuhi. Uji t satu sampel dan uji t sampel independen digunakan untuk menganalisis data sesuai dengan rumusan masalah. Setiap pengujian statistik menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Untuk rumusan masalah-1 ditemukan nilai t = -10,879 untuk uji t satu sampel pada sig. = 0,00 sehingga sig. = 0,00 < 0,05 yang bermakna keterampilan membaca via artikel online berkategori sedang. Untuk rumusan masalah-3 ditemukan nilai t = -12,295 untuk uji t satu sampel pada sig. = 0,00 sehingga sig. = 0,00 < 0,05 yang bermakna keterampilan membaca via artikel cetak berkategori sedang. Untuk rumusan masalah-5 ditemukan nilai t = 0,439 untuk uji t sampel independen pada sig. = 0,662 sehingga sig. = 0,662 > 0,05 yang bermakna hasil tes keterampilan membaca tidak berbeda antara tes menggunakan artikel online dan artikel cetak.

Menurut Kurikulum 2013 Revisi 2018, alokasi waktu per pekan untuk pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk mata pelajaran wajib hanya 4 jp yakni 4 x 45 menit. Waktu ini relatif terbatas dibandingkan dengan jumlah KD yang relatif banyak dan luas. Khusus pembelajaran berbasis teks prosedur di kelas XI, kompetensi pedagogik guru perlu ditingkatkan sehingga mampu mereproduksi teks prosedur bertopik matematika sehingga materi bahasa Indonesia dapat diterima siswa melalui guru Matematika. Oleh karena itu, kompetensi pedagogik guru Matematika perlu diperdalam melalui kompetensi bahasa yakni bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian tindakan sekolah ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan supervisi klinik kepala sekolah terhadap guru Bahasa Indonesia dan guru Matematika untuk terampil mereproduksi teks prosedur topik matematika. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 3 Batam yang berlangsung di awal semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Subjek penelitian adalah para guru Bahasa Indonesia dan guru Matematika SMA Negeri 3 Batam. Merka berjumlah 9 orang yang terbagi dari 4 orang guru Bahasa Indonesia dan 5 orang guru Matematika. Instrumen penelitian tindakan sekolah ini adalah Lembar Kegiatan Guru (LKG) versi cetak dan versi elektronik dan google form dan media OHP. LKG berisi model teks prosedur sejumlah 9 teks, pendalaman materi struktur teks prpsedur dan materi kalimat dan paragraf. Kegiatan supervisi klinik kepala sekolah menggunakan metode workshop untuk alokasi waktu 2 x 6 x 50 menit pada rentang 2 hari. Hasil penelitian tindakan sekolah adanya 9 teks reproduksi teks prosedur topik matematika.

Penelitian tindakan sekolah ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan produk supervisi klinik kepala sekolah terhadap guru: 1) kategori LKPD terpadu mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti; 2) kategori LKPD terpadu mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan mata pelajaran Matematika; 3) kategori LKPD terpadu mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian dilaksanakan di semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2022/2023 di SMP Negeri 20 Batam. Supervisi klinik menerapkan metode workshop pola 4 jam yakni 2 x 2 x 50 menit. Subjek penelitian tindakan sekolah ini adalah para guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti, guru Bahasa Indonesia, dan guru Matematika SMP Negeri 10 Batam, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Mereka berjumlah 12 guru yang terbagi dari 3 guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti, 3 guru Bahasa Indonesia, dan 3 guru Matematika, serta 3 guru IPA. Instrumen utama penelitian deskriptif ini adalah kuesioner tentang LKG (lembar kegiatan guru). LKG ini berisi 2 bagian penting yakni: 1) contoh teks eksposisi yang bertopik matematika dan contoh teks eksposisi bertopik profetik yakni bagian dari KD dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti; 2) bidang kosong untuk setiap peserta berlatih menyusu teks eksposisi yang bertopik matematika, bertopik profetik, dan topik IPA. Data kategori dianalisis menggunakan prosedur mean level statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian tindakan sekolah: 1) kategori LKPD terpadu mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti berkategori baik; 2) kategori LKPD terpadu mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan mata pelajaran Matematika berkategori baik; 3) kategori LKPD terpadu mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan mata pelajaran IPA berkategori baik.
