Abstract

The development of village governance in Indonesia often faces challenges in youth participation. In Mekarbakti Village, despite the significant number of young people, their participation in village development activities is still minimal. It is due to time constraints, as many young people work in the industrial sector, and there is a lack of facilities to support youth activities. This research aims to analyse the enthusiasm of youth in village Government development and explore efforts that can increase their participation. The method employed utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach, including deep conversations with community leaders and adolescents of Mekarbakti Village, in addition to a comparison to Linggar Village, Bandung Regency, and effectively raised young excitement. The research results show that although the Mekarbakti Village Government has formed a Karang Taruna, youth participation is still limited. Compared to Linggar Village, which engages youth through open Employee Performance and an entrepreneurial approach, Mekarbakti Village needs to adopt a similar approach to increase youth enthusiasm.

Abstract

The oil extracted from Pangasius micronemus, commonly known as patin fish, is highly regarded for its omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids content, which offer numerous health benefits. Producing high-quality patin fish oil (PFO) rich in these essential fatty acids requires an optimized extraction process. This study utilized ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) combined with response surface methodology – Box Behnken Design (RSM-BBD) to optimize the extraction of PFO. Five variables were examined: temperature (30–60 °C), solvent composition (n-hexane in isopropanol, 30–90%), amplitude (30–90%), solvent-to-sample ratio (10:1–20:1), and cycle duration (0.2–0.8 s−1). The analysis identified solvent composition, amplitude, and solvent-to-sample ratio as significant factors influencing the response value (p < 0.005). Optimal UAE conditions were achieved at a temperature of 59 °C, solvent composition of 42%, amplitude of 41%, solvent-to-sample ratio of 20:1, cycle duration of 0.8 s−1, and an extraction time of 25 min. Fatty acid profiling revealed that PFO extracted using UAE contained omega-3 fatty acids, including α-linolenic acid (ALA) at 1.36% and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) at 0.46%, as well as omega-6 fatty acids, namely linoleic acid (LA) at 19.06% and arachidonic acid (AA) at 0.85%. These results demonstrate the efficiency of UAE in extracting high-quality PFO.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the influence of the audit committee on financial statement integrity, the influence of independent commissioners on financial statement integrity, the influence of company size on financial statement integrity, and the influence of audit quality on financial statement integrity. The sample in this study consists of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021-2023 period. The total sample in this study is 45 data points. Data collection was conducted through the official IDX website and the official websites of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021-2023 period. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 18.0 software. The results of data processing tests show that the audit committee has a positive effect on financial statement integrity, while the influence of independent commissioners, company size, and audit quality negatively affects financial statement integrity.

Abstract

Recent learning processes have not been fully student-cantered. The assessment tends to only giving score and ignores the skill of critical thinking. It requires changes in the use of learning strategies, methods, and media that activate students in the learning process in order to develop the skill of critical thinking. In this case, the use of Mentimeter can be an alternative. The objectives of the research is to find out the application of Mentimeter in the course of Al Islam and Muhammadiyah in the material of Ramadhan Fast, and to know how Mentimeter media can improve critical thinking skill of Nursing Department Students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Pekajangan Pekalongan that consist as 32 students of class A as experiment class and 34 students of class B as the control class. This study uses a quantitative research approach, specifically using a quasi-experimental method, the research design is pre-test, and the design of the control group is post-test. Based on the prerequisite test these two groups are not homogeneous and not normally distributed. From the results of research using the Mann Whiteney test, it is known that the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00 0 which is less than 0.05. So, according to the basis for making a decision on the Mann Whitney U test, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there are significant differences in learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class. The findings from this study indicate that Mentimeter media can effectively improve critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Nifedipine is a drug with a small solubility in water, a consequence, in order to obtain the desired drug release, the solubility of nifedipine should be increased by the addition of PVPK-30.This study was aimed to know the effect of HPMC K15M, PVP K-30 on the release of nifedipin, and Avicel PH 102 on the floating lag time of nifedipine floating tablet, and to find out the proportion of each ingredient to produce the optimum formula of nifedipin floating tablet. The study was conducted using Simplex Lattice Design (SLD) with 3 components i.e. HPMC K15M, PVPK-30 andAvicel PH 102 in order to obtain 14 formulas. The optimization parameter consists of absorption tablet, floating lagtime, C360 and DE360. The four parameters were analyzed using Design Expert7.1.3 software to determine the optimum formula. The optimum formula was obtained by determining the desired target for each parameter. The absorption was selected in maximum target, floating lag time was selected in minimum target, C360 targeted at number 54 and DE360 targeted at number 40. HPMC K15M at the highest concentration affected the smallest release of nifedipin, the highest PVP K-30 concentration affected the most of nifedipin release, where as high concentration Avicel PH 102 had a small affected reduce in floating lag time of nifedipin floating tablet. The composition of the optimum formula is as follows: 80mg HPMC K15M, 97mg PVPK-30 and 45mg Avicel PH 102. The results of tablet absorption, C360 and DE360 did not differ significantly; floating lag time gave significantly different results to obtain from software. The release kinetics of all formulas fit order 1, which indicated that the drug release occurred through a diffusion mechanism.

Abstract

Amylum is widely used as an excipient in pharmaceutical formulations, one of which is inert and can be mixed with any drug without causing a chemical reaction. The aim of this research is to know the preparation method of cassava amylum (Manihot esculenta, Crantz) native and pregelatinized which is used as binder to dissolution rate of paracetamol tablet with granulation method. The native and pregelatinized amylum produced from cassava is carried out by a preliminary test to determine the nature of physical characteristics and to know the ability as a binder of the tablet. The paracetamol tablets produced from the two methods were tested dissolution using medium buffer phosphate at 37 ± 0,5 ° C (pH 5.8, 50 rpm). The results showed that cassava starch preparation method had an effect on dissolution rate of tablet. Pregelatinized amylum as binder on paracetamol tablet showed Q value (93,17 ± 0,01)% while native amylum showed value of Q (81,76 ± 0,20)%. The use of pregelatinized cassava starch as a binder on paracetamol tablet has better characteristic properties compared with native starch.

Abstract

There is a diversity of interpretations regarding the Quranic verse on the jilbab. Among these interpretations, some are robust in terms of argumentation, while others appear biased and subjective. This article delves into Quraish Shihab's thoughts on the jilbab verse and critically analyzes them. This research is a type of library research using a descriptive analysis method, which describes the research findings based on a focused problem by critically analyzing them to produce objective results. The approach used is content analysis. The primary sources for this research are Tafsir Al-Mishbah and Jilbab Pakaian Wanita Muslimah. The research findings indicate: First, in Quraish Shihab's perspective, wearing the jilbab is not obligatory; its command is merely a recommendation and applies only during the time of Prophet Muhammad. Scholars also do not unanimously agree on the boundaries of a woman's aurat, and the jilbab sharia is a teaching that takes into account Arab societal traditions, making it not applicable to other nations that do not wear the jilbab. Second, Quraish Shihab's interpretation of the jilbab verse lacks a strong argumentative basis in Islamic studies. The wording of the command in the jilbab verse is still understood as an obligation and cannot be transformed into a mere recommendation because there is no evidence diverting it; scholars have unanimously agreed on the boundaries of a woman's aurat, which extends from the top of the head to the tips of the toes, excluding the face and the palms of the hands; the sharia of the jilbab remains applicable until the end of time, even though it was revealed under specific conditions and in a particular region, as Islam is a universal religion.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence and compensation on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable, in the financial and banking sector in Bandung City, Indonesia. A quantitative approach using a survey method was employed, involving 170 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The findings reveal that emotional intelligence and compensation have a positive and significant effect on both job satisfaction and employee performance. Job satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between emotional intelligence and compensation on employee performance. The mediation effect indicates that enhancing emotional intelligence and providing fair compensation can optimally improve performance when accompanied by high job satisfaction. These results emphasize the importance of developing emotional intelligence through training and implementing fair compensation systems to increase employee motivation, loyalty, and productivity.

Abstract

Nifedipin  (NIF)  adalah  obat  kardiovaskular  dengan  frekuensi  penggunaan berulang  kali  dalam  sehari.  Ketika  diberikan  secara  oral  dalam  bentuk  sediaan padat konvensional, absorpsi NIF rendah. Sehingga perlu dikembangkan sediaan lepas lambat  yang dapat dipertahankan lama dalam lambung. Dengan sistem ini NIF  bisa  diberikan  1x1  hari,  yang  akan  menjamin  kepatuhan  pasien  dan pencapaian  target  terapi.Penelitian  bertujuan  untukmengetahui  pengaruh  kombinasi HPMC K100M,xanthan gum dan komponen effervescent terhadap sifat fisik  massa  tablet,  sifat  fisik  tabletdan  pelepasan  zat  aktifnya,  serta  berapa komposisi  tiap faktor  untuk  menghasilkan  formula  optimum. Rancangan penelitian  yang  digunakan  adalah  rancangan  faktorial  23 sehingga  didapatkan  8 formula. Parameter optimasi yang digunakan adalah floating lag time(FLT),  daya serap,  C 360 dan  DE 360.  Penentuan  profil  disolusi  berdasarkan  metode  linierisasi kurva.Berdasarkanpendekatan  nilai  desirability diperoleh  formula  optimum dengan komposisi HPMC K100M 81,0 mg, xanthan gum 48,2 mg dan komponen effervescent 60,0  mg. Formula optimum memberikan hasil pengujian  floating lag time,  daya  serap  dan  C360 yang  tidak  berbeda  signifikan  terhadap  hasil  prediksi softwareyang digunakan (Design Expert7.1.3). Profil pelepasan formula optimum mengikuti kinetika orde 1.

Abstract

Tumbuh-tumbuhan diketahui kaya antioksidan alami seperti vitamin E, vitamin C, beta karoten dan flavonoid.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan10 jenis sayuran, Amaranthus lividus L.sensu Thell., Cichorium endivia, Brassica juncea (L.) Czern., Sauropus androgynus (L.) Merr., Ocimum bassilicum, Brassica oleracea var.botrytis  L.,  Brassica oleracea var.botrytis L. subvar cauliflora DC., Brassica oleracea var.capitata L., Brassica oleracea var.capitata L. forma rubra, Cosmos caudatus H.B.K dan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi senyawa fenolik dan flavonoid pada aktivitas antioksidannya. Uji aktivitas antioksidan dilakukandengan metode DPPH (2,2-difenil-1-pikril hidrazil) dengan menggunakan baku pembanding kuersetin. Analisis kandungan fenolik total ditentukan oleh kemampuan sampel untuk mereduksi reagen Folin Ciocalteau. Analisis flavonoid total dilakukan secara spektrofotometri didasarkan adanya kemampuan flavonoid  membentuk kompleks yang berwarna kuning dengan AlCl3 , yang selanjutnya akan bereaksi dengan  NaOH membentuk warna merah muda yang dapat diukur absorbansinya pada panjang gelombang 510 nm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ekstrak kenikir (Cosmos caudatus H.B.K.) memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang paling tinggi dengan nilai IC50 19,49 µg/ml. Hubungan antara aktivitas antioksidan 10 jenis sayuran dengan kandungan fenolik total diperoleh persamaan regresi linear  y = -34,94 x +562,5, r2 = 0,235 , sementara itu hubungan aktivitas antioksidan dengan flavonoid totalnya diperoleh persamaan y = -16,57 + 755,9, r2 = 0,471.
