Abstract

PT Semen Indonesia Logistik, an affiliate of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, distributes and manages cement, industrial goods, and other commodities. Based on Semen Indonesia Group's environmental impact, effective distribution depends on this company. The main objective of this study is to identify and investigate the link between job satisfaction and elements like compensation, career development, and working surroundings. This research results from quantitative analysis of data gathered from fifty PT Semen Indonesia Logistik personnel. Questionnaires were used to gather data; subsequently, validity and dependability were assessed to ensure the instrument's quality. We performed basic assumption tests—which include checks for normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity—to guarantee even more the usefulness of the data. Through the lens of multiple linear regression and hypothesis evaluation, we uncovered insights into how each variable functions. To further grasp their influence, we leveraged the coefficient of determination to measure the extent of impact each independent factor has on the outcome variable. Determining workers' satisfaction on the job was more influenced by pay and promotion chances than by working circumstances.

Abstract

The Indonesian capital markets have undergone a notable transformation, shifting from a savings-oriented society to one that is increasingly investment-oriented. This shift is particularly evident among Generation Z, who now constitute the majority of investors. In the Berau Regency of East Kalimantan Province, there has been a significant rise in individual stock ownership, reflecting a growing investment interest, especially among younger demographics. This study, conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis with SmartPLS, examined 203 participants from the Generation Z population in Berau Regency. The findings indicate that financial literacy—encompassing knowledge of personal finance, savings, loans, insurance, and investment—along with financial behavior, plays a critical role in shaping an individual's investment preferences. Additionally, investment expertise was found to be advantageous for investors. However, minimum capital requirements and return on investment were not significant factors influencing investment preferences. In contrast, risk perception positively impacted investment preferences, with considerations spanning financial, social, performance, time, and psychological factors. These results provide valuable insights into the factors influencing investment interest in the capital market, particularly among young investors. To enhance the objectivity and applicability of future research, it is recommended to account for respondents' characteristics, geographical conditions, and more representative samples, as these factors may yield different outcomes.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus and hypertension are two chronic diseases whose prevalence continues to rise in Indonesia and significantly impact the quality of life of those affected. Conventional medical therapy often requires supportive approaches to enhance treatment effectiveness and improve patients' quality of life. Acupuncture, as a form of traditional Chinese medicine, has shown potential in regulating glucose metabolism and reducing blood pressure through neuroendocrine mechanisms and improved blood circulation. This community service activity aims to provide education and acupuncture services as a supportive therapy for people with diabetes and hypertension in the Larangan Utara village area, Tangerang. The activity method includes health counseling, consultation sessions, and periodic acupuncture therapy. The results of the activity indicate a positive response from the participants, both in terms of understanding the diseases and the reduction of subjective complaints related to blood pressure and blood sugar levels. It is hoped that this program can serve as a model for integrating complementary therapies in the promotional and preventive efforts of public health services.

Abstract

The global push toward Net Zero Emissions (NZE) has positioned green hydrogen as a key component in sustainable energy strategies. In Indonesia, the energy sector contributes over 40% of national emissions, prompting the need for increased renewable energy integration. However, green hydrogen production remains limited due to high costs and dependency on fossil-based electricity. This study focuses on a hydrogen production facility located in the Gresik industrial port area, which currently relies 91% on electricity from the national grid. To address this, we propose a hybrid energy system combining photovoltaic (PV) and grid power. The goal is to reduce the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) while increasing the share of renewable energy in hydrogen production.A simulation-based approach was used, employing HOMER Pro software with real industrial operational data as input. Several scenarios were developed by varying PV capacity and daily load demand. The optimal configuration consisting of a 6.179 MWp PV system and a 5,000 kWh/day load resulted in the lowest LCOE of IDR 2,175/kWh, compared to the baseline of IDR 2,783/kWh. The renewable energy share also increased from 9% to 21%.Additionally, performance analysis showed that the actual PV system efficiency was 21%, slightly lower than its theoretical efficiency due to seasonal weather variations. These results indicate that higher PV integration and larger energy loads significantly improve both cost-effectiveness and renewable energy penetration. This study demonstrates a practical, data-driven approach for optimizing green hydrogen production systems in industrial environments.

Abstract

Green hydrogen production holds significant potential for supporting Indonesia's clean energy transition towards Net Zero Emissions (NZE) by 2060. However, its current Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH) of USD 4.3 to USD 8.3 per kilogram makes it less cost-effective than fossil fuel-derived hydrogen. This study aims to analyze the economics of a Hydrogen Plant (H2P) utilizing hybrid energy sources in Gresik. The methodology integrates advanced modeling techniques, including the Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH) and Net Present Value (NPV) analysis, to quantify production costs and assess long-term profitability. Data for this study was meticulously collected from a Hydrogen Plant in Gresik through historical operational records, technical specifications, projected energy demand, and meteorological data. By systematically comparing five alternative configurations: Grid+Solar PV (50,6 kWp), Grid+Solar PV (100 kWp), Grid+Solar PV (200 kWp), Grid+Solar PV (400 kWp), and Grid+Microhydro (76 kW). Configuration 5 was found to be the most economical under current assumptions, achieving the lowest LCOH of IDR 100.023/kg (USD 6,23/kg) and the highest NPV (IDR 22.935.241.285). This result is align with global decarbonization goals which are projected to be economically competitive at USD 2/kg by 2050.

Abstract

The lack of socialization carried out by Family Planning Field Extension Workers (FPFE) leads to fear among the community, especially among Couples of Reproductive Age (CRA), in choosing Long-Term Contraception Methods (LTCM). Couples of reproductive age require health education or counseling to help them determine which contraceptive method to use. This study aims to determine the role of PLKB for couples of reproductive age (PUS) in choosing LTCM at Sekerak District Health Center, Aceh Tamiang Regency in 2022. This study is a quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study was all couples of reproductive age in Sekerak Kanan Village, Sekerak District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, and the research sample consisted of 126 people. Data collection was done directly by distributing questionnaires to couples of reproductive age. Then, it was followed by the process of data analysis using the Chi-Square test and logistic regression. The results showed that there is a relationship between counseling quality in choosing LTCM with a value of (p=0.001; PR=3.4; 95% CI 2.201-5.294), there is a relationship between PLKB barriers in choosing LTCM with a value of (p=0.001; PR=2.2; 95% CI 1.724-3.007), and there is a relationship between FPFE capacity in choosing long-term contraceptive methods with a value of (p=0.001; PR=2.4; 95% CI 1.704-3.472). Furthermore, the dominant factor related to the selection of LTCM is counseling quality with a value of (p=0.000; PR=10.766 95% CI 3.491-33.204). Couples of reproductive age are expected to increase their knowledge, especially about long-term contraceptive methods, and it is hoped that men will not be ashamed to participate in family planning programs.
