Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Umrah Scholarship Program for the Qur’an Tahfidz Munaqosah in shaping the religious character of students at SMA Negeri 2 Lembang. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis was based on Thomas Lickona’s character education theory, which includes the aspects of moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action. The findings indicate that the program plays a positive role in developing students’ religious character. In the aspect of moral knowing, students gain an understanding of Islamic values embedded in tahfidz activities. In the aspect of moral feeling, the program fosters spiritual awareness and a deeper love for the Qur’an. Meanwhile, in the aspect of moral action, students demonstrate positive behavioral changes, including increased discipline in worship, responsibility, politeness and social concern. Therefore, the Umrah Scholarship Program for the Qur’an Tahfidz Munaqosah serves as an effective strategy for strengthening students’ religious character within the school environment.

Abstract

The implementation of learning evaluation is very important in the education process because educators need in-depth information about students in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Evaluation is one of the key factors that supports educational success. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Aqidah Akhlak learning evaluation in the Merdeka Curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri, as well as to analyze supporting factors, inhibiting factors, and implementation solutions. This research uses a case study approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research informants include the head of the madrasah, the vice principal for student affairs, Aqidah Akhlak teachers, and students who are directly involved in the implementation of learning evaluation. Research results show that the implementation of assessment in Aqidah Akhlak learning in the Merdeka Curriculum includes diagnostic, formative, and summative evaluations. Supporting factors for implementing the evaluation include teachers' readiness and competence, valid instruments, adequate facilities and infrastructure, school support, learning media, students' honesty, follow-up on evaluation results, the Digital Madrasah Program, and the use of the SCOLA application. Hindering factors include teachers' lack of understanding, inappropriate instruments, low honesty and motivation among students, varying digital skills, limited devices, internet network issues, SCOLA application disturbances, and the need for further adaptation to the Merdeka Curriculum. The solutions implemented include training and workshops for teachers, creating a competency-based question bank, strengthening a culture of honesty, documenting and analyzing evaluation results, providing offline and paper-based evaluations, supporting technology use, applying engaging learning approaches, and mapping students' technology skills to optimize learning assessments.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering good character (akhlakul karimah) among students as an effort to prevent cyberbullying behavior at MTs Muhzirah, Galesong Selatan, Takalar Regency. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with the PAI teacher, the headmaster, homeroom teachers, and students, and documentation studies, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, and validated through source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that PAI teachers carry out their role through exemplary conduct, habituation of Islamic values, moral guidance and counseling, and the integration of digital-ethics material into classroom learning. Preventive efforts include instilling the values of honesty, empathy, and mutual respect, and socializing the dangers of cyberbullying through religious activities such as Jumat curhat and kultum. Supporting factors include cooperation with parents and school policy on gadget use, while inhibiting factors include limited supervision of students' social media activity outside school hours and the rapid development of digital platforms. The study concludes that the moral guidance carried out by PAI teachers contributes significantly to shaping students' character and reducing the tendency toward cyberbullying.

Abstract

Jabodetabek Commuter Line services represent the fulfillment of citizens’ rights to safe, comfortable, accessible, reliable, and equitable public services. This study aims to identify the rights-fulfillment factors associated with user satisfaction and to interpret them through service quality and civic knowledge perspectives. A quantitative survey was conducted among 400 active commuter rail users aged 17–45 years selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire comprising 15 rights-fulfillment items and 15 user-satisfaction items and were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The findings show that rights fulfillment collectively has a strong positive and significant relationship with user satisfaction. Security and physical protection emerged as prominent positive aspects, particularly the presence of security officers and the orderly operation of women-only carriages. Comfort, accessibility, reliability, affordability, and fairness also formed the service experience underlying satisfaction. In contrast, access to complaint channels and complaint submission procedures remained the weakest participatory aspects and therefore require priority improvement. The item-level factors are interpreted descriptively because the regression model tests the aggregate rights-fulfillment score rather than the independent effect of each factor. Civic knowledge is used as an interpretive lens to explain users’ ability to recognize, evaluate, and exercise their rights in public services.
