Abstract

This study discusses the cooling of water with a system of spraying it into the free air. The energy source to drive the pump uses energy from sunlight. This research is to solve a problem in an area where it is difficult to get water so that the water for the cooling process must be cooled so that it can be used for the next process. The second problem is that the electrical energy is very minimal, so you have to use other energy that can be used for the cooling process. The process of cooling the water spray system into the air was chosen to solve this problem. The tools used in this study were a 600 Wp solar cell, a 300 W water pump and a spray pipe. The research was conducted during the dry season in August. The research results show that the temperature of the water in the pool is not homogeneous the deeper the water in the pool the lower the temperature. The higher the pool water temperature, the longer the cooling time will be. The greater the pump discharge, the faster it will take to cool the pool water. Solar energy is able to supply energy to drive pumps with pool water temperatures up to 45 C. This cooling system can be used at night because it is equipped with batteries. The results of this research can be used and developed to create a larger system. This cooling system does not cause any impact on the environment because the energy source is from sunlight which is environmentally friendly.

Abstract

Bromelain fiber is the product of extracting the enzyme bromelain from pineapple hulls or peels. Bromelain fiber contains lignocellulose, which, when fully decomposed, is very beneficial for the environment, but it is quite challenging to degrade naturally. Hence, it requires a decomposer agent. The decomposer agents used in this study were cellulolytic fungi Aspergillus sp. (Bioggp 3) and ligninolytic Trichoderma sp. (Bioggp 2). This study aims to determine the effect of compost tea (CT) bromelain fiber induced by these fungi and obtain the best dose of the CT on the growth of land kale (Ipomoea reptans Poir.). This research was conducted in April–July 2022 at the Microbiology Laboratory of FMIPA Unila. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 7 treatments and 4 replications, namely P0 (control), P1 (ACT 25%), P2 (NACT 25%), P3 (ACT 50%), P4 (NACT 50%), P5 (ACT 75%), P5 (NACT 75%). The parameters measured were plant height and number of leaves. The data were analyzed using ANOVA α = 5% followed by the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test with a 5% confidence interval. This study showed that the results with the highest height value and number of leaves were found in P3 (ACT 50%) while the lowest was in P0 (water control). It can be concluded that the ACT and NACT significantly affect the height and number of leaves, and the best dose was found in ACT 50% starting from day 10, 15 , 20, and 25 after planting. Abstract

English proficiency, particularly in grammar, is a crucial aspect of global communication, especially in the context of flexible and independent learning. Gramource English Community (GEC), an English learning community focused on asynchronous grammar instruction through Google Classroom and Instagram, has faced challenges due to the lack of interactive learning media to support the teaching of tenses. In response to this issue, a community service team from the English Literature Department at Universitas Pamulang developed an interactive digital flipbook-based learning media covering three types of simple tenses: simple present, simple past, and simple future. This activity was carried out using the ADDIE development model, starting from partner needs analysis, material design, visual content development, to the implementation of the learning media on the community’s platforms. The flipbook was designed to be engaging, easy to understand, and supportive of flexible learning, featuring theoretical explanations, sentence examples, and interactive exercises. Implementation was done by integrating it into Google Classroom and promoting it via Instagram, reaching participants from diverse backgrounds. Validation results from experts and user testing indicated that the flipbook is effective in improving participants' understanding of tense usage and increasing their interest in learning through a visual and interactive approach. This program not only provides a concrete solution to the partner’s problem but also contributes positively to the students’ skills development in creating technology-based learning media. Therefore, this digital flipbook serves as an innovative and relevant alternative learning tool to support asynchronous grammar instruction in the digital era.

Abstract

Sebelah timur Kecamatan Gedong Tataan Kabupaten Pesawaran terletak Desa Bernung. Ada masalah mitra yang timbul pada proses berternak, yaitu masalah kebutuhan air. Belum adanya air yang cukup menyebabkan kolam ikan airnya berkurang dan jarang diganti. Masalah berikutnya yaitu saat musim kemarau panjang, menyebabkan berkurangnya air, sehingga kolam ikan mengalami kekeringan. Metode yang digunakan adalah melalui penyuluhan, pelatihan dan demonstrasi serta evaluasi untuk melihat efektivitas program sehingga program akan tersosialisasi dengan baik serta efisien. Metode lainnya meliputi desain pembuatan alat saluran air dan tempat usaha, demonstrasi dan pelatihan. Mata air terdekat Desa Bernung dapat dimanfaatkan untuk peningkatan usaha peternak dengan cara membuat desain saluran air terdekat. Selanjutnya untuk menghadapi musim kemarau perlu membuat sumur dengan cara menentukan kedalaman air tanah menggunakan metode Geolistrik. Hasil akhir yang diperoleh adalah: Terimplementasinya desain pemanfaatan air dari sumber air terdekat menuju tempat mitra, termasuk desain saluran air di tempat ternak dan rumah tangga; telah dilaksanakan penentuan kedalaman air tanah menggunakan metode Geolistrik; Pembuatan kolam ikan sebagai usaha kelompok peternak agar panen peternakan meningkat. Kemudian menyebarkan bibit ikan dan ternak lain dengan tujuan meningkatkan usaha.

Abstract

Penyakit jantung merupakan penyebab kematian tertinggi di dunia. Deteksi dini risiko penyakit jantung dapat dilakukan menggunakan algoritma Framingham Risk Score (FRS). Penelitian ini merancang sistem prediksi risiko penyakit jantung berbasis web dengan mengadaptasi algortima Framingham Risk Score (FRS) yang dimodifikasi untuk lingkungan digital. Sistem dirancang menggunakan HTML, CSS, dan JavaScript sengan antarmuka form input gejala subjektif (nyeri dada, sesak napas, diabetes, dll) dan faktor demografis (usia, gender, riwayat keluarga). Parameter skoring dimodifikasi dari pedoman American Heart Association dan European Society of Cardiology dengan penyesuaian bobot gejala klinis seperti nyeri dada “berat” (+4 poin) dan diabetes (+3 poin). Hasil simulasi teoritis terhadap 5 skenario kasus menunjukkan konsistensi 95-97% dengan perhitungan manual FRS menggunakan kalkulator standar MDCalc. Sistem mengklasifikasikan output menjadi tiga kategori risiko: rendah(<10%), sedang(10-20%), dan tinggi(>20%), disertai rekomendasi tindak lanjut. Keunggulan rancangan ini terletak pada kemudahan akses sebagai alat skrining mandiri, namun memiliki keterbatasan utama yakni tidak mencakup parameter laboratorium (kolesterol, LDL) dan belum diuji dengan data pasien nyata. Simpulan Studi menekankan bahwa sistem ini bersifat prepanduan (pre-screening) dan setiap hasil prediksi harus dikonfirmasi melalui pemeriksaan media lengkap.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of competence, work motivation, and the work environment on employee performance at the Bontang City Library and Archives Service. The research aims to analyze how these three internal factors interact to shape employee productivity, satisfaction, and commitment in a public sector setting. Employing a quantitative research approach with a causal-explanatory design, the study utilizes a structured questionnaire distributed to employees as respondents. Data were analyzed through statistical techniques, including correlation and regression analysis, to determine both partial and simultaneous effects of each variable on performance outcomes. The findings reveal that competence significantly enhances task effectiveness, motivation drives employee engagement and commitment, and a supportive work environment improves satisfaction and overall productivity. Collectively, these factors contribute to strengthening institutional performance and promoting good governance practices in local administration.

Abstract

This study explores the strategic initiatives of the Bontang City Library and Archives Department in promoting reading interest, the challenges faced during program implementation, and the evaluation of their effectiveness through the lens of New Public Service (NPS) values. Using a qualitative descriptive research method, data were collected through interviews, document analysis, and field observations to uncover the dynamics of public literacy programs. The findings reveal that the library’s innovative strategies—such as digital literacy initiatives, community reading campaigns, and partnerships with educational institutions—have contributed to improving public engagement with reading. However, these initiatives face constraints including limited funding, insufficient infrastructure, and cultural resistance to literacy practices. Evaluating the programs through NPS values emphasizes that effectiveness should not be judged merely by quantitative success but by the degree to which programs uphold inclusivity, participation, and accountability. The study concludes that sustainable literacy promotion depends on integrating strategic innovation with ethical public service values, fostering collaborative governance, and empowering citizens as active co-creators of a literate society.

Abstract

Kendala produksi dalam budidaya vanili (Vanilla planifolia Andrews) salah satunya diakibatkan oleh penyakit busuk batang yang disebabkan oleh jamur Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. vanillae. Solusi untuk mengatasi penyakit tersebut menggunakan agen pengimbas yaitu asam fusarat dengan berbagai konsentrasi. Penggunaan kultivar vanili yang tahan penyakit busuk batang dengan hasil tinggi diharapkan merupakan alternatif pengendalian penyakit yang penting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui aktivitas enzim peroksidase pada tanaman vanili yang diimbas asam fusarat berbagai konsentrasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan satu faktor, yaitu konsentrasi asam fusarat 0 ppm (kontrol), 115 ppm, 125 ppm, dan 135 ppm. Data yang telah diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) kemudian dilakukan uji lanjut dengan Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) dengan taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa semakin meningkat konsentrasi asam fusarat, semakin tinggi aktivitas enzim peroksidasenya. Pada konsentrasi asam fusarat 135 ppm aktivitas enzim peroksidase tertinggi menghasilkan 0,74 U/mg/min. Kata Kunci: asam fusarat, Fov, in vivo, peroksidase, Vanilla planifolia

Abstract

Dendrobium is a popular ornamental plant in Indonesia, but its production is often hindered by the lack of superior seedlings and low cultivation efficiency. Fertilization containing macro- and micronutrients, along with growth hormones, can enhance orchid growth. Liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) is considered more efficient than solid fertilizers because it is easily absorbed by roots, accelerates photosynthesis, and promotes new tissue formation. One easily accessible LOF is Amino Age. This study aimed to determine the effect and optimal concentration of Amino Age LOF on the in vitro growth of Dendrobium sp., plantlets. The study employed a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a single factor, namely LOF concentration (0 ml/L as control, 1 ml/L, 1.5 ml/L, 2 ml/L, and 2.5 ml/L) and five replications. The data were analyzed using ANOVA and followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 5% significance level. The results showed that Amino Age LOF had a significant effect on the growth of Dendrobium sp. plantlets. The optimal concentration was 2 ml/L, which yielded the best results in terms of plantlet survival rate, growth visualization, stomatal density, fresh weight, and dry weight. Abstract

The integration of local wisdom in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is a strategic effort to strengthen the relevance of religious learning to students' lives. PAI learning not only focuses on ritual and doctrinal aspects, but also functions as a medium for character, moral, and socio-cultural identity formation. This study aims to analyze the role of local wisdom in PAI learning, its benefits in strengthening character, and the challenges of its implementation in the context of the Independent Curriculum. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach based on a literature review by examining the latest academic literature from 2018–2025. Data analysis was carried out through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques, adopting the Miles and Huberman analysis model (Sugiyono, 2014). The results of the study indicate that the integration of local wisdom can increase the meaningfulness, contextuality, and effectiveness of PAI learning. Cultural values ​​such as mutual cooperation, courtesy, deliberation, and local religious traditions are in line with Islamic moral principles and can thus strengthen character formation. However, its implementation still faces several obstacles such as limited teacher cultural literacy, a lack of learning resources based on regional culture, and a lack of school support. This research confirms that the integration of local wisdom is highly relevant to the Independent Curriculum, which emphasizes contextual and project-based learning. Therefore, the integration of local wisdom in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is a crucial approach to realizing an education that is humanistic, culturally rooted, and adaptive to changing times.
