Abstract

Evaluation is a very important thing in a curriculum. Evaluation is an ongoing series in the curriculum. Many educational institutions only evaluate the curriculum as an administrative obligation. In fact, evaluation should be more than just an administrative obligation, but rather a procedure that must be carried out for improvement and development steps. This research aims to analyze the implementation and evaluation process of the tahfidz juz 'amma program at MI Al Wathoniyah Tegalrejo Rejotangan. The research method uses qualitative research methods by collecting data by observation and interviews. The data analysis techniques involve data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The findings in the field stated that the evaluation of the tahfidz juz 'amma program at MI Al Wathoniyah Tegalrejo Rejotangan had been carried out properly and correctly. The evaluation process uses a humanistic approach and the model used is a multivariate mixture. It doesn't just stop at evaluation, the tahfidz juz 'amma program at MI Al Wathoniyah Tegalrejo Rejotangan also follows up on the evaluation results. In this follow-up process, MI Al Wathoniyah applies consistent principles in its implementation.

Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRM) problems are familiar at all educational institutions, such as the Islamic Basic Educational Institution. This study aims to reveal and introduce the concept of HRM in improving the quality of teachers at the SDI (Islamic elementary education) Qurrota A'yun Tulungagung, Indonesia, to show the importance of HR in improving the quality of teachers in Islamic Primary Educational Institutions. Furthermore, this research involves ten informants, including a school principal, teachers, committees, parents, and community leaders. Subsequently, data were collected through in-person interviews (via telephone and online by WhatsApp messaging services), participant observation, and documentation. The results show the process of human resource management in improving the quality of teachers through planning, training, and evaluation. Firstly, the planning strategy is conducted through pre-service education or recruitment, while the training strategy is conducted by making on-the-job and off-the-job training programs. Lastly, Every week, semester, and year, the evaluation is completed, and rewards are given. In conclusion, the findings imply that human resource management has an important role in determining the quality of teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to produce interactive learning media for Islamic Religious Education based on Book Creator as an effort to improve learning outcomes for Islamic religious education courses. The development model used is the ADDIE model. There are three stages in the ADDIE development procedure, namely Analysis, Design and Develop. A limited trial was conducted on 10 students of the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health of Riau to find out the respondents' responses to the interactive learning media product for Islamic Religious Education based on Book Creator. The instrument used is a check list questionnaire. The results of the limited trial of student responses showed that the interactive learning media of Islamic Religious Education based on Book Creator had very good quality (86.76%) in addition to the overall assessment of reviewers and peer reviewers obtained very good quality (91.01%). Thus, it can be concluded that the Book Creator-based interactive learning media is appropriate to be used as a learning resource for Islamic Religious Education and can be used in learning activities. This article makes a positive contribution in the world of education, especially in the realm of utilizing digital platforms that can be used as learning media such as Book Creator.

Abstract

Masjid merupakan tempat ibadah orang muslim di seluruh dunia,Masjid sekarang sudah memiliki peralatan elektronika yang di gunakan untuk perlengkapan wajib masjid seperti lampu,kipas,pengeras suara dan wifi.Perangkat elektronika tersebut perlu adanya pengotrolan dari jarak jauh guna memanfaatkan teknologi informasi yang semakin berkembang sangat pesat ini. Sehingga di rancanglah aplikasi masjid pintar yang digunakan untuk mengotrol lampu dan memonitoring intensitas cahaya pada masjid. Sistem ini memanfaatkan mikrokontroler NodeMCU Esp8266, relay, sensor Light Dependent Resistor (LDR), Software Arduino IDE,Firebase, dan platform Kodular serta komponen pendukung lainnya. The mosque is a place of worship for Muslims around the world, the mosque now has electronic equipment that is used for mandatory mosque equipment such as lights, fans, speakers and wifi. These electronic devices need remote control to take advantage of information technology that is growing very rapidly. this fast. So that a smart mosque application was designed that is used to control lights and monitor light intensity in mosques. Abstract

IntroductionThe role of Islamic life insurance in addressing financial risks and promoting sustainable growth is increasingly important, particularly in Muslim-majority countries like Indonesia. Understanding the financial determinants of profitability in this sector provides critical insights into its operations and resilience.ObjectivesThis study examines the impact of investment returns, risk-based capital, and underwriting results on the profitability of PT Takaful Keluarga. It aims to evaluate both individual and combined effects of these financial variables and analyze their role during economic disruptions, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.MethodThe study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing multiple linear regression analysis on quarterly financial data from 2017 to 2024. The analysis focuses on the interplay of key financial variables and their influence on net profit, providing a comprehensive view of profitability determinants in Islamic life insurance.ResultsInvestment returns were found to significantly and positively affect profitability, highlighting the importance of effective asset management. Risk-based capital and underwriting results showed limited individual impacts but contributed significantly in combination with investment returns. The findings also underscore the company’s resilience, with profitability rebounding in the post-pandemic period.ImplicationsThe results emphasize the need for integrated financial strategies that align investment, solvency, and risk management practices. These findings offer actionable insights for practitioners and policymakers aiming to optimize the financial performance of Islamic life insurance providers.Originality/NoveltyThis study contributes to the understanding of financial dynamics in Islamic life insurance by addressing the interdependence of key financial variables and exploring their role in sustaining profitability under economic uncertainty.

Abstract

Periodisasi hadits menjadi bahasan penting dalam diskusi keilmuan Islam. Sebagai sumber kedua dalam Islam, secara otomatis hadits juga menerima kritik yang dilontarkan oleh para sarjana barat yang mendiskreditkan sumber ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini mengambil pemikiran Mustafa al-Azami, yaitu cendekiawan yang berupaya untuk mendudukkan kembali periodisasi hadits dari masa pencatatan hingga kodifikasi. Adapun metode pewartaan dalam periodisasi tersebut berimplikasi kepada landasan transmmisi keilmuan saat ini. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif-analitis, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa periodisasi hadits dari masa pencatatan hingga kodifikasi menimbulkan jejak metode dalam proses validitas atau kritik terhadap sanad dan matan hadits. Hal ini berimplikasi dalam penerapan terhadap transmisi keilmuan masa kontemporer, sebagaimana yang telah dipraktikkan jauh pada masa para sahabat. Metode para sahabat menandakan bahwa kegiatan literasi telah dilakukan pada masa Nabi SAW. Bahkan metode tersebut telah direfleksikan dengan kegiatan transmisi keilmuan masa kini. Hal ini menegaskan bahwa Islam dalam transmisi keilmuan hanya membawa kebenaran sebagai petunjuk bagi seluruh umat manusia.[The Role of Friends in The Periodization of Hadith and Their Implications on The Transmission of Islamic Education Science. Periodization of hadits to be an important discussion in the discussion of Islamic scholarship. As a second source in Islam, hadits automatically also received criticsm by scholars of the western that discredit the source of the teaching of Islam. This study based the thingking of Mustafa al-Azami. He is a scholars who focus to but back the periodization of the hadits of the recording to the codification. As for the method of preaching in the periodization of the implications to the transmission of science at this time. This research is qualitative research which is descriptive-analytical. Result of the study is that the periodization of the hadits of the recording to the codification cause the trace method in the process of the validity or criticsm of sanad and matan of hadits. This has implications in the application to the transmission of scientific contemporary period, as has been practised of the companions. The method of the companions indicates that the literacy activities have been done since at the time of prophet Muhammad SAW. Even the method that has been reflected by the activities of transmission of knowledge of the present. This confirm that Islam in the transmission of scientific just bring the truth as guidance for all human.]

Abstract

The reliability of medical devices such as extraction forceps is vital for dental and oral care. Apart from having hygienic properties, the extraction forceps must be strong and resistant to corrosion. This study evaluates the effects of tempering temperature on the hardness and microstructure of a medical device’s material made from stainless-steel DIN 4021. In the experiments, a heat treatment process was carried out previously with a temperature of 1,050°C and a holding time of 20 minutes. A quenching process was conducted using a cooling channel that flowed with water at 10-20°C. After the heat treatment, the material was subjected to a tempering process with temperature variations of 200, 400, and 600°C. The research results indicated that the heat treatment process could increase the material’s hardness —the hardness of the raw material changed from 20 to 48.67 HRC with the heat treatment. The tempering parameters resulted in the highest hardness of 46.67 HRC at 200°C and the lowest value of 42.33 HRC at 600°C. Microstructure testing using optical microscopy showed that it produced ferrite, pearlite, and martensite structures. In contrast, the result of a microstructure testing using Scanning Electron Microscopy on the surface of the material is that the higher the tempering temperature, the greater the microstructures’ dimension.

Abstract

Skills adalah keterampilan meningkatkan kinerja untuk berkembang yang perlu diimplementasikan pada abad ke- 21 berfokus pada konsep “Tim” dimana pembelajaran kelompok akan mempengaruhi cara berpikir siswa demi mengarah pada tujuan penyelesaian masalah yang dihadapi, karena menurut studi internasional bahwa keterampilan berpikir siswa Indonesia dinilai masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh dari collaboration skills terhadap critical thinking skills. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif jenis survei dengan menggunakan data primer pada populasi SMKN 2 Surabaya. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan mengambil 3 kelas kompetensi keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik (TITL) sebanyak 108 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana berbantuan SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian ditemukan nilai p-value < 0,05 dapat diartikan collaboration skills memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap critical thinking skills. Kesimpulan didapatkan bahwa collaboration skills memiliki pengaruh terhadap critical thinking skills dengan kontribusi sebesar 50,9% sisanya 49,1% disebabkan variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini (teamwork skills, berpikir kreatif dan keterampilan adaptasi sosial). Implikasi hasil analisis menunjukkan guru dapat memandang collaboration skills sebagai alat meningkatkan critical thinking skills dengan penerapan pembelajaran yang tepat dalam meningkatkan  critical thinking skills pada abad ke- 21 yaitu Project Based Learning (PjBL) karena PjBL bertujuan meningkatkan kolaborasi siswa yang bersifat kelompok.

Abstract

Pembelajaran memiliki sebuah tujuan untuk menguasai kompetensi yang telah ditentukan. Dalam mencapai kompetensi tersebut, penyampaian materi pembelajaran haruslah efektif. Maka dari itu pemilihan media pembelajaran menjadi suatu faktor penting, salah satu media yang digunakan adalah aplikasi Electrodoc. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah aplikasi Electrodoc memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X di SMKN 1 Sidoarjo pada mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Teknik Elektronika. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen berbentuk Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Terdapat dua kelas yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Data diperoleh dari angket yang digunakan untuk mencari respon peserta didik. Dan tes untuk memeroleh hasil belajar pretest dan posttest. Setelah melakukan penelitian, diketahui respon peserta didik memiliki hasil nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 3,11 atau 77,74% yang dapat dikatakan baik. Untuk pretest kelas kontrol diperoleh hasil rata-rata keseluruhan 38,51 dan kelas eksperimen sebesar 34,46. Hasil posttest kelas kontrol menghasilkan rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 60,27 dan untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 77,57. Data yang diperoleh dilakukan uji normalitas dengan memeroleh hasil nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,0013 untuk respon peserta didik dan 0,000007 untuk hasil posttest kelas eksperimen, dengan begitu keduanya dinyatakan tidak terdistribusi normal. Hasil uji non parametrik Rank Spearman diantara hasil respon peserta didik dan hasil posttest kelas eksperimen adalah nilai sig. 2 tailed 0,806 yang berarti aplikasi Electrodoc tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X SMKN 1 Sidoarjo pada mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Teknik Elektronika.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the strategies used in cultivating pluralism awareness through Islamic Education at Bumi Damai Foundation, Yogyakarta. This research uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach. Interviews were conducted with caregivers, heads of institutions, and teachers. All interviews are recorded and then transcripts of interview results are provided. Data analysis uses 3 stages: data reduction, data display, and drawing/verifying data conclusions. This study found that the Bumi Damai Foundation in implementing a strategy to foster pluralism awareness through Islamic Education implements several programs, namely: the tahfidz program with emphasis on memorization of the context of pluralism contained in the Qur’an, Da’wah Al-Muhibbin studying several areas from different cultures and religions, applying the motto Hubbul Wathon Minal Iman, visits and social services in several non-Muslim places of worship,  and emphasized memorizing and deepening the contents of Asmaul Husna. This research contributes to scarcity studies that uncover strategies and methods for cultivating awareness of pluralism within Social Welfare Institutions. Similar research is appropriate to uncover strategies of Islamic forms of education used to foster awareness of pluralism in social institutions.
