Abstract

Skinner's behaviorist theory is a behavior change caused by the interaction between stimulus and response. This theory views learning as a change in student behavior. The purpose of this study is to describe B.F. Skinner's behaviorist theory, its implementation in Arabic speaking skill/ maharah kalam learning, and the problems in its application. The research method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach. Research results 1. Behaviorist learning theory is a behavior change caused by the interaction between stimulus and response. This theory views learning as a change in student behavior. 2. The implementation of behaviorism for kalam learning includes the introduction of maharah, the creation of a conducive environment, using supportive learning media, and providing reinforcement as a positive response to student behavior. Applying Skinner's behaviorist theory has proven effective in Maharah Kalam's learning, especially in creating a supportive learning environment and providing positive reinforcement. 3. The problems in its application include internal factors, such as intelligence, which influences their ability to adapt to the environment when learning Arabic, especially in learning to communicate in that language.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Maqaṣid al-Sharīah in improving the quality of healthcare services and patient well-being at Klaten Islamic General Hospital (RSUI Klaten). Using a qualitative descriptive approach through interviews, observations, and documentation, the study integrates field and library research to reveal how Sharia principles are translated into practical healthcare management. The findings show that the application of Maqasid Al-Sharia is not merely symbolic but has a measurable positive impact on service quality and patient welfare. For example, the implementation of hifz al-dīn (protection of religion) is realized through the availability of prayer facilities, halal nutrition, and spiritual counseling that enhance patients’ psychological and spiritual comfort. The principle of hifz al-nafs (protection of life) is reflected in the hospital’s patient safety centered policies and emergency response prioritization, while hifz al-māl (protection of wealth) is implemented through transparent financing and social support mechanisms using zakat and waqf funds. These initiatives collectively improve patient satisfaction, trust, and recovery outcomes, showing that Islamic ethical values can enhance both medical and moral dimensions of healthcare quality. The research also finds that the integration of Maqāṣid is an ongoing implementation process, meaning that it continues to be strengthened and expanded through staff training, Sharia governance, and digital innovation in service systems. This process reflects a continuous effort to institutionalize Islamic values within hospital operations. Overall, this study contributes to the discourse on Islamic healthcare management by providing empirical evidence that Maqasid Al-Sharia-based practices can serve as a transformative model for improving service quality and realizing comprehensive well-being (al-maṣlaḥah al-kulliyyah) in Sharia-compliant hospitals in Indonesia.

Abstract

Learning in elementary schools remains predominantly focused on cognitive aspects, leaving the emotional dimensions that significantly influence students' empathy and character development unmanaged as an integral part of the learning process. As a result, issues such as low social sensitivity, limited learning engagement, and weakened intrinsic motivation persist. This study employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, involving eight students, three teachers, and the school leader as research subjects. The study focuses on the emotional learning experiences of students and the neuroeducational practices of teachers. The research was conducted at SDI Ibadurrahman Blitar. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation, technique triangulation, member checking, and bracketing. Data analysis was conducted through horizontalization, which involved reducing and developing essential themes. This study aims to analyze how students' emotional experiences during learning contribute to the formation of empathy and character, as well as how teachers understand and apply neuroeducational principles to create a learning environment that supports such development. The findings show that a favorable emotional climate, collaborative learning, routine reflection, and teacher role modeling are effective in activating emotional regulation, increasing learning motivation, fostering empathy, and shaping students' prosocial character.

Abstract

Jabungan Village is one of the areas with great potential in the poultry farming sector in Semarang City. Most farmers still use traditional methods in the egg hatching process, which depends on the mother hen. This method has limitations in terms of capacity, success rate, and time efficiency. This community service activity aims to increase poultry farmers' productivity through the application of automatic egg incubators based on temperature and humidity control systems. The implementation methods include a partner needs survey, tool design, training in use, and operational assistance. The results of the activity show a 26% increase in hatchability, a reduction in hatching time from 21 to 20 days, and an increase in farmers' knowledge of modern hatching management. This program has had a positive impact on the efficiency and sustainability of small farmers' businesses in Jabungan.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan produk minuman herbal yang bermanfaat secara kesehatan dan bernilai ekonomi. Melalui pendekatan pemberdayaan Masyarakat, kegiatan ini mencakup proses saintifikasi produk herbal, penyusunan informasi nilai gizi yang akurat serta klaim kesehatan pada label kemasan yang sesuai dengan peraturan dan standar yang berlaku. Program ini juga mendorong peningkatan kapasitas sekaligus memperkuat daya saing UMKM dalam aspek pemasaran dengan melakukan promosi yang bersifat edukatif, terutama terkait literasi kesehatan bagi konsumen. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan pendampingan dalam standardisasi proses produksi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat unjukan Solo mampu membuat berbagai jenis minuman herbal yang menarik dan berkualitas. Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan warga dalam memanfaatkan saintifikasi minuman herbal menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan dalam standardisasi proses produksi diperlukan agar alur kerja menjadi lebih efisien, kualitas produk lebih stabil, dan mutu keseluruhan dapat dipertahankan secara konsisten dalam jangka panjang. Hal ini menjadi salah satu strategi yang efektif untuk mendukung kesehatan masyarakat sekaligus meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan perilaku mahamahasiswa melalui penerapan nilai-nilai pembentukan sikap tegak pada pencak silat dalam mengikuti mata kuliah pencak silat.penlitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester gasal tahun ajaran 2014/2015, di Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitan tindakan kelas, dengan pemberian pembelajaran teori dan praktik nilai-nilai sikap tegak pada pencak silat beserta contohnya, seperti hukuman mahasiswa saat keterlambatan dalam mengikuti matakuliah pencak silat. Teknik pengambilan data penelitian dilakukan dengan metode observasi terbuka dengan menggunakan format check list dan catatan kejadian yang terjadi dilapangan selama proses pembalajaran. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terjadi perubahan perilaku positif yang sebelum pemberian tindakan hingga sesudah pemberian tidakan. Kenaikan persentase perilaku sikap mencapai 60%.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the education quality assurance system at the Surabaya Job Training Center (BLK) using DeLone and McLean’s Information Systems Success Model (ISSM) as the analytical framework. A qualitative research approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis involving management, instructors, quality staff, and trainees. Thematic analysis was applied to examine six model dimensions: system quality, information quality, service quality, use, user satisfaction, and net benefits. The findings reveal that the quality assurance system at BLK Surabaya has been effective in improving work efficiency, process integration, and learning motivation. System, information, and service quality positively contribute to user satisfaction and organizational benefits. Nonetheless, challenges remain in network infrastructure and limited practice equipment. This study extends the ISSM application in government vocational training institutions and provides practical implications for strengthening digital-based education quality assurance in Indonesia. Abstract

MANAGEMENT OF FACILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE IN IMPROVING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT THE MINISTRY OF RELIGION OF LAMONGAN REGENCY Infrastructure management is a crucial aspect in supporting the implementation of government agencies' duties and functions. Adequate infrastructure plays a significant role in creating an effective, efficient, and productive work environment. This article aims to describe the implementation of infrastructure management at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office in Lamongan Regency and to analyze the extent to which it impacts employee performance effectiveness. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, direct field observations, and documentation studies of office administration data. The results indicate that infrastructure management involves several stages: needs planning, procurement of goods and facilities, routine maintenance, and the elimination or replacement of unusable assets. This structured and sustainable management approach has been shown to positively impact employee performance effectiveness. Complete, well-organized, and well-conditioned work facilities can improve work morale, environmental comfort, and efficiency in task execution. Furthermore, leadership support in monitoring and budget allocation is also a crucial factor in maintaining the sustainability of infrastructure management. Thus, optimal management of facilities and infrastructure not only improves the quality of public services, but also becomes one of the key strategies in realizing professional and highly competitive governance.

Abstract

PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGEMENT STRATEGY IN UTILIZING DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY AT THE OFFICE OF THE MINISTRY OF RELIGION OF LAMONGAN REGENCYThe importance of the role of public relations in building a positive image of the institution through the use of digital technology, especially at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Lamongan Regency. This study aims to examine public relations management strategies in facing challenges and optimizing communication with the public in the digital era at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Lamongan Regency. The method used is qualitative with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the integration of digital technology in public relations activities can increase the efficiency of information dissemination, through the use of digital media such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and the official website. As well as strengthening the relationship between the institution and the public. However, at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Lamongan Regency there are still obstacles in the form of cybersecurity and limited access in remote areas. From this study, it is necessary to strengthen the capacity of public relations human resources in the field of technology and the development of digital security policies to support the optimal achievement of institutional goals in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how Pondok Pesantren Manbaul Ulum in Indonesia implements management innovation strategies to develop its Vocational Secondary School (VSS) while preserving its core Islamic values in an increasingly competitive vocational education landscape. Employing a qualitative single-case study design, the research collected data through semi-structured interviews with 10 purposively selected informants, representing leaders, curriculum developers, teachers, and students, supplemented by participatory observation and document analysis. Methodological triangulation, member checking, and peer debriefing ensured data validity, and analysis followed Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña’s interactive model. The findings demonstrate that the pesantren’s success is anchored in a deliberate model of institutional hybridity operationalised through a structured dual-curriculum, a disciplinary system that converts piety into a strategic VRIN resource, and a market positioning strategy centred on producing morally grounded graduates. These mechanisms create a synergistic fusion of religious and vocational logics that strengthens organisational resilience and competitive advantage. The study's limitations include its reliance on a single case in one geographical context, which restricts generalizability, suggesting that future research should examine diverse pesantren models or employ mixed methods. This study offers originality by providing a process-based explanation of how faith-based institutions can transform religious values into strategic resources, contributing to institutional theory and offering practical guidance for religious educational organisations navigating modernisation.
