Abstract

Background:  One of the problems that Manila duck farmers often face today is the high price of feed and unstable growth rates. This causes the body weight growth of Manila ducks to not be optimal and has an impact on the percentage of carcasses that are not as expected. Papaya leaves are one type of waste from agricultural businesses that can be used as additional feed by turning them into flour mixed into feed. Papaya leaf flour contains protein, calcium, and phosphorus and can increase the carcass productivity of Manila ducks. Purpose:  This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of papaya leaf flour in feed on the carcass percentage of the chest and thighs of Manila ducks.  Methods: This study used 40 manila ducks aged 6 weeks as material. The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment consisted of the addition of papaya leaf flour (PO 0%, P1 3%, P2 5%, and P3 7%). Results: The results showed that the addition of papaya leaf flour in feed had a very significant effect (P <0.01) on the percentage of carcasses of the breast and thighs of manila ducks. Conclusion:  From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the addition of papaya leaf flour in feed up to 5% level can increase the percentage of carcasses of breast and thigh of manila ducks.

Abstract

Background: Sustainable livestock development is a major factor in livestock development. Livestock business development is directly related to the livestock population in Indonesia. The livestock population must be able to be a success factor for livestock development. Animal husbandry must be able to produce superior livestock populations and increase income. Livestock population is closely related to investment, meaning that the potential and opportunities can provide added value to the livestock business. Livestock investment in Indonesia over the past few years has increased significantly. The proof of this is the increase based on the 2023 Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Statistics data, namely the Livestock GDP in 2022 of IDR178.1 trillion (at constant prices) or an increase of 6.24% from 2021. Livestock GDP of Rp298.0 trillion (at current prices), contributed 16.51% to the GDP of the Agricultural Sector. Meanwhile, the result of the realisation of DCI investment in Animal Husbandry in 2022 was RpR3.9 trillion or an increase of 82.74% (an increase compared to 2021). The livestock sub-sector has a positive effect on increasing the value of GDP, GRDP, and DCI in Indonesia. This means that the value of GDP and DCI is also influenced by the value of the contribution of the livestock sub-sector in Indonesia. The challenge of the livestock sub-sector is to be able to meet the needs of larger livestock resources and the expansion of infrastructure in the livestock sector. There is an influence of the relationship between sustainable livestock development and the number of livestock populations. If the livestock population is high, it can increase the productivity of livestock. Reviews: This paper will briefly review the livestock sub-sector, namely the Effect of Population, Total Slaughter, Livestock Production on Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and Domestic Capital Investment (DCI).

Abstract

Petis udang adalah produk fermentasi udang yang memiliki potensi mengandung bakteri patogenik, termasuk bakteri koliform yang dapat menjadi indikator pencemaran Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan bakteri koliform pada petis udang yang dijual di Pasar Pandaan, menggunakan metode Most Probable Number (MPN). Metode MPN digunakan untuk menghitung jumlah bakteri koliform dalam sampel petis udang secara statistik. Sampel yang diuji sebanyak 3 dengan 2 kali ulangan. Pengujian dilakukan di laboratorium Balai Besar Labotarium kesehatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua sampel yang uji tidak mengandung bakteri koliform dan hasil dari uji MPN koliform diketahui bahwa semua sampel tidak mengandung bakteri koliform dengan nilai indeks MPN koliform <1 dan berstatus memenuhi syarat SNI 7388:2009.

Abstract

Latar Belakang Penelitian ini membahas tentang perbandingan pengajaran al Qur’an di Arab Saudi dan Indonesia. Bagaimana pengajaran al Qur’an di Arab Saudi dan Indonesia dalam melatih para siswa dalam membaca al Qur’an dan dan menghafalkannya. Bagaimana system pengajarannya, bagaimana metode pengajarannya, dan apakah ada hal yang menarik dari pengajaran al Qur’an pada dua negara tersebut. Tujuan Untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran al Qur’an di Arab Saudi lebih baik dari pada di Indonesia ataukah sebaliknya. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan systematic Review. Melalui review jurnal tentang pengajaran al Qur’an di Arab Saudi dan Indonesia. Penelusuran literatur dalam systematic Review ini menggunakan aplikasi Harzing’s Publish or Perish 8 dengan Crossref Search. Dari literatur 50 jurnal yang berkaitan tentang pengajaran al Qur’an di Indonesia, terdapat 9 jurnal yang berkaitan dengan pengajaran Al-Qur’an di Indonesia dan 2 jurnal yang berkaitan dengan pengajaran al Qur’an di Arab Saudi. Pencarian literatur jurnal dimulai dari tahun 2016-2021. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pengajaran al Qur’an di Indonesia jauh lebih baik dibandingkan di Arab Saudi.

Abstract

The stir casting method is a widely used technique for producing metal matrix composites by incorporating reinforcement particles into molten metal. This study investigates the effect of copper (Cu) powder reinforcement on the microstructure and mechanical properties of aluminum matrix composites fabricated using the stir casting method. The base material consists of recycled aluminum from vehicle wheels, with copper added as a reinforcement to enhance the mechanical characteristics of the cast material. The casting process involved melting aluminum waste at 650°C, followed by the gradual addition of Cu powder in varying volume fractions (2.5%, 5%, and 7.5%) while stirring at a constant speed of 500 rpm for 5 minutes to ensure uniform distribution. The microstructural analysis was conducted using optical metallography, while tensile and hardness properties were evaluated using a Universal Testing Machine. The results indicate that the most uniform powder distribution was achieved at 5% Cu reinforcement, whereas the highest porosity was observed at 7.5% due to particle agglomeration. The highest hardness value (42.52 BHN) was observed at 2.5% Cu reinforcement, while the maximum tensile strength (111.7 MPa) was obtained at 5% Cu. However, an increase in Cu content beyond 5% led to a decline in mechanical properties due to increased porosity and reduced bonding efficiency. These findings highlight the importance of optimizing Cu content in aluminum matrix composites to balance mechanical strength and structural integrity.

Abstract

The collaboration of four religious leaders (Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, and Buddhism) is important in encouraging moderation and tolerance among religious communities in Indonesia through the concept of Pesanten Rahmatan lil Alamin values. The object of this research is religious leaders who act as spiritual leaders and social activists in a multicultural society. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The research data is sourced from various journal articles, books, and related research reports. The results show that collaboration between religious leaders effectively strengthens the values of religious moderation, where religious leaders actively promote interfaith dialog, reduce social conflicts, and facilitate joint activities that reflect harmony. This collaboration also has a positive impact on the image of the Islamic-majority country of Indonesia by emphasizing the values of Rahmatan lil Alamin pesantren as a driver of religious moderation that has an impact on social stability and increased interfaith understanding in society by continuing to develop collaborative activities and dialogue, and pesantren have the potential to become a model center for religious harmony in Indonesia.

Abstract

Quality research can positively impact the development of science and technology and improve the reputation of universities. This study investigates the determinant factors that affect the research performance of lecturers who obtain external funding. The sample was 41 lecturers who obtained external research funds from various institutions (e.g., Directorate of Research, Technology and Community Service, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia; National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia; and similar institutions) for the last three years (2021 - 2023). Cluster analysis using secondary data (Science and Technology Index or SINTA data) was conducted to determine research performance clusters (high and low). Discriminant analysis was conducted to determine the determinant factors affecting research performance achievement based on the cluster analysis results. The results revealed that internal factors, including mastery of English and interest in the research topics offered, are determinant factors that affect the research performance of lecturers receiving external funding. In external factors, eight determinant factors affect research performance, namely: support for dissemination of research results in journals, support from research assistant staff, satisfaction with awards from the university, satisfaction with awards from outside the university, support for research matching funds from the university, training in writing research proposals, ease of obtaining research permits from agencies outside the university, and adequacy of facilities at the university. Universities need to consider these factors to encourage the improvement of the research performance of lecturers receiving external funding.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian yang dilakukan tim kami di Iswara Food yang bergerak dalam bidang usaha kuliner dan bahan baku. Dari hasil observasi yang dilakukan tim kami, terdapat beberapa ketidaksesuaian proses akuntansi di Iswara Food diantaranya pemilik belum dapat mengklasifikasikan transaksi ke dalam akun-akun, pembukuan transaksi belum tercatat secara rapi, tidak mengetahui biaya produk sehingga pemilik tidak mengetahui laba dan ruginya, serta masih mencampur antara keuangan bisnis dengan konsumsi pribadi. Ketidaksesuaian itu menyebabkan pemilik tidak dapat menghitung harga pokok produksi serta mengetahui laba dan rugi. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka yang kami lakukan adalah tim memberikan pengarahan kepada mitra dan membuat pembukuan sederhana. Kemudian kami secara intens melaksanakan pendampingan dan monitoring terhadap Iswara Food dalam membuat pembukuan.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the extent of the principal's leadership strategy that has been carried out in improving the quality of education in Karawang. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection tools used are interviews, observations and literature reviews. The object of the study was the principal of SMK 1 Karawang. The study was conducted from March to December 2016. The data analysis technique is a descriptive qualitative analysis technique consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study stated that there were several activities of the principal to implement the functions of the principal as a strategy for improving the quality of education at SMKN 1 Karawang. These functions include the educator function, the manager function, the administrator function, the supervisory function, the leader function, the innovator function, and the motivator function.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of company size, debt to asset, and current ratio on profitability. Food and baverage companies listed on the IDX for the 2019-2021 period are the population of this study. The number of samples used were 19 companies using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis method. The results of this study indicate that partially firm size, debt to asset ratio have a significant effect on profitability. The current ratio variable has no significant effect on profitability. Simultaneously it shows that firm size, debt to asset ratio, and current ratio have a significant effect on profitability.
