Abstract

Purpose of the study: The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of a gamification-based learning application in improving elementary school students' understanding and awareness of bullying prevention Methodology: A quantitative method using a quasi-experimental one-group pretest and posttest design was used. The study included 49 fifth-grade students from an elementary school in Malang. Data was gathered through pretest and posttest tools consisting of 25 questions. The pretest was administered before the intervention and the posttest after. Data analysis used IBM SPSS Statistics version 26, including normality tests, paired sample t-tests, and N-gain analysis to assess statistical significance and effect size. Main Findings: The results indicate that there was a significant improvement in students' understanding following the intervention. The average pretest score was 52.33, rising to 87.51 in the posttest. The paired sample t-test produced a significance value of p < 0.001, indicating strong effectiveness. Furthermore, the N-gain analysis yielded a value of 0.71 indicated high effectiveness. Therefore, the gamification-based application serves as a valuable educational tool for increasing bullying prevention awareness in elementary schools. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study provides the first empirical evidence for the effectiveness of a gamification-based mobile application specifically designed to teach bullying prevention to elementary school students. It bridges a critical research gap by quantitatively validating how tailored game mechanics (combines quizzes, mini-games, and role-playing scenarios) enhance comprehension of bullying dynamics and addressing the absence of methodologically rigorous evaluations in context-specific gamified learning for child safety education.

Abstract

Character formation is an urgent need in vocational schools because graduates are require-d to be not only technically skilled but also morally upright. This study aims to analyze the synergy between Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers and vocational subject teachers in shaping students’ character, to identify the character values instilled, and to examine the strategies, supporting factors, and obstacles in its implementation. A qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The results show that teacher synergy was realized through praying before practice, pausing activities during the call to prayer, emphasizing honesty in workshop reports, and fostering discipline and responsibility in technical practice. The main character values developed include religiosity, discipline, honesty, responsibility, and diligence. Supporting factors consist of the school’s strong religious culture and its institutional vision, while obstacles include limited coordination time and differences in teaching styles. This study contributes theoretically by enriching the literature on cross-subject collaboration in character education at vocational schools, and practically by offering a model for teachers, schools, and policymakers to strengthen character education in vocational contextsABSTRAKPembentukan karakter merupakan kebutuhan mendesak di sekolah kejuruan karena lulusan dituntut tidak hanya terampil secara teknis, tetapi juga berakhlak mulia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis sinergi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan guru kejuruan dalam pembentukan karakter siswa, mengidentifikasi nilai karakter yang ditanamkan, serta menelaah strategi, faktor pendukung, dan hambatan pelaksanaannya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sinergi guru terwujud melalui doa sebelum praktik, penghentian aktivitas saat adzan, penekanan kejujuran dalam laporan, serta pembiasaan disiplin dan tanggung jawab dalam praktik bengkel. Nilai karakter yang terbentuk meliputi religiusitas, disiplin, kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan kerja keras. Faktor pendukungnya adalah budaya religius sekolah dan visi kelembagaan, sedangkan hambatan utamanya berupa keterbatasan koordinasi dan perbedaan gaya mengajar. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dengan memperkaya literatur pendidikan karakter berbasis kolaborasi lintas mata pelajaran di sekolah kejuruan, sekaligus kontribusi praktis sebagai model implementasi pendidikan karakter bagi guru, sekolah, dan pembuat kebijakan.

Abstract

This study describes the implementation of mental-health development by Akidah Akhlak teachers, examines its challenges, and evaluates its effectiveness. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation with the principal, teachers, and 10 tenth-grade students, four key strategies emerged: integrating spiritual values into lessons, fostering religious routines such as congregational prayer, dhikr, and recitation of Asmaul Husna, modeling exemplary behavior, and providing Islamic counseling. Thematic analysis identified three main obstacles low student awareness, peer and social-media influences, and limited counseling facilities. These practices effectively enhanced students’ inner calm, self-control, discipline, and religiosity despite existing challenges. Recommendations include strengthening religious culture, providing dedicated counseling space, and improving mental-health literacy in the madrasah.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mendeskripsikan implementasi pembinaan kesehatan mental oleh guru Akidah Akhlak serta menelaah tantangan dan efektivitasnya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala madrasah, guru, dan 10 siswa kelas X, ditemukan empat strategi utama: integrasi nilai spiritual dalam pembelajaran, pembiasaan religius seperti shalat berjamaah, dzikir, dan pembacaan Asmaul Husna, keteladanan guru, serta konseling Islami. Analisis tematik mengungkap tiga hambatan dominan, yaitu rendahnya kesadaran siswa, pengaruh teman sebaya dan media sosial, serta keterbatasan fasilitas konseling. Praktik tersebut terbukti meningkatkan ketenangan batin, kontrol diri, kedisiplinan, dan religiusitas siswa, menunjukkan efektivitas pembinaan meskipun menghadapi tantangan. Rekomendasi meliputi penguatan budaya religius, penyediaan ruang konseling khusus, dan peningkatan literasi kesehatan mental di madrasah.

Abstract

Inovasi teknologi telah menjadi elemen kunci dalam transformasi industri travel. PT Digital Travel Indonesia memperkenalkan pendekatan baru dalam mengembangkan aplikasi pendaftaran travel melalui penerapan Model Prototype. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki bagaimana penerapan Model Prototype dapat meningkatkan proses pengembangan aplikasi pendaftaran travel di PT Digital Travel Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menerapkan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pengembang aplikasi, manajer proyek, dan pengguna akhir. Selain itu, observasi langsung juga dilakukan selama proses pengembangan aplikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Model Prototype memiliki dampak yang signifikan dalam pengembangan aplikasi pendaftaran travel di PT Digital Travel Indonesia. Melalui penggunaan prototipe, tim pengembang dapat mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pengguna dengan lebih baik, mengurangi risiko kesalahan dalam pengembangan, dan meningkatkan interaksi antara pengembang dan pengguna. Selain itu, Model Prototype memungkinkan PT Digital Travel Indonesia untuk merespons perubahan kebutuhan pasar dengan lebih cepat dan efektif. Meskipun Model Prototype membawa banyak manfaat, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi selama proses implementasinya. Tantangan utama termasuk pengelolaan waktu dan sumber daya yang efisien, serta memastikan konsistensi antara prototipe dan produk akhir. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan Model Prototype telah membawa dampak positif dalam pengembangan aplikasi pendaftaran travel di PT Digital Travel Indonesia. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas penerapan Model Prototype di masa mendatang, termasuk peningkatan pelatihan untuk tim pengembang dan peningkatan komunikasi antara berbagai pemangku kepentingan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis karakteristik minyak hasil pirolisis dari berbagai jenis plastik, termasuk polietilena (PE), polipropilena (PP), polistirena (PS), dan Styrofoam, serta plastik campuran, dengan fokus pada konversi minyak, angka cetane, dan angka oktan. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa durasi optimal pirolisis adalah 4 jam, di mana produksi minyak mencapai titik tertinggi sebelum berkurang akibat peningkatan pembentukan gas. PE dan PP menunjukkan konversi minyak tertinggi (lebih besar dari 70 persen), dengan rantai hidrokarbon yang lebih panjang dan kestabilan termal yang baik, sehingga lebih sesuai untuk aplikasi bahan bakar diesel. Sebaliknya, PS dan Styrofoam menghasilkan minyak dengan angka oktan tinggi (lebih besar dari 90), tetapi dengan konversi minyak yang lebih rendah (lebih kecil dari 70 persen), akibat dekomposisi struktur aromatiknya yang lebih kompleks. Hal ini menjadikan minyak hasil pirolisis PS dan Styrofoam lebih sesuai sebagai substitusi bensin. Perbedaan komposisi hidrokarbon dalam produk minyak ini menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik bahan bakar yang dihasilkan sangat bergantung pada jenis plastik yang digunakan. Oleh karena itu, optimasi pirolisis dengan katalis atau modifikasi kondisi reaktor diperlukan untuk meningkatkan selektivitas terhadap fraksi bahan bakar yang diinginkan, baik untuk aplikasi diesel maupun bensin

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The aim of this study is to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a learning media called MITEDA (Mitigation of Earthquake Damage), which is based on the STEM approach and computational thinking, to support the teaching of wave physics. The study focuses on both the development process of the media and its impact on improving students’ computational thinking skills through contextual problem-solving using earthquake simulation and sensor-based data. Methodology: The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. Tools used include Arduino Uno, SW-420 vibration sensor, LCD 16x2, and a buzzer. Software includes Arduino IDE and Proteus. Data collection used expert validation sheets, student questionnaires, observations, and computational thinking tests. Main Findings: The MITEDA learning media, comprising a digital seismograph kit and instructional module, was rated “highly feasible” by experts (Aiken’s V ≥ 0.80) and received positive student feedback for usability and engagement. Statistical analysis showed a significant improvement in computational thinking skills for the experimental group (N-Gain = 0.84) compared to the control group (N-Gain = 0.56), t(69) = 8.875, p < 0.001, d = 2.716, with the highest gains in abstraction and consistent high-level algorithmic performance. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study presents an innovative learning media, MITEDA, integrating STEM and computational thinking through earthquake simulation using Arduino-based sensors. It advances wave physics learning by providing real-time vibration data and contextual problem-solving, enhancing students’ analytical skills.

Abstract

The objectives of this research and development are: to find out the characteristics of the Discovery with Team Assisted Individualization (D-TAI) learning model, determine the feasibility of the D-TAI learning model, and test the effectiveness of the product model in empowering analytical thinking skills. Model development research refers to Borg & Gall, which was adapted into nine stages: research and data collection, planning, initial product development, initial testing, product revision I, main field revision, product revision II, operational field revision, and final product revision . Analysis of the data used is a qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis using the Mann Whitney U test. The results of the research and development show: the development of the D-TAI model was carried out with regard to the characteristics of the model. the results of the development of the D-TAI model are applied to the material of the human reproductive system. D-TAI model is able to empower students' analytical thinking skills. The results of the study show a significant difference between the value of analytical thinking skills in the D-TAI model class and the control class that is the average value of the D-TAI model class (74.79) higher than the control class ( 55.91) control with sig level 0.00 <0.05.

Abstract

Diagnosis dan karakterisasi suatu lahan merupakan satu tahapan penting untuk mengenali kendalapeningkatan hasil, bentuk pengelolaan yang diperlukan, dan gambaran potensi hasilnya. Penelitian dilakukan diwilayah Kecamatan Ngadirojo, Kabupaten Wonogiri, Jawa Tengah. Metode penelitian adalah sigi (survey) denganmengambil contoh tanah lapisan atas (top soil) pada kedalaman 0-20 cm. Contoh tanah diambil dari 11 desa dan setiapdesa diambil dua titik pengambilan secara acak. Analisis kimiawi lengkap dikerjakan di laboratorium Balitkabi, yangmeliputi pH tanah, kadar hara N, P, K, S, Ca, Mg, Cu, Mn, Fe, Zn, KTK, dan kadar C-organik. Disampingpengambilan contoh tanah, dilakukan pula sigi hasil (yield cut survey) untuk tanaman kacang tanah yang diusahakanoleh petani menurut teknologi petani setempat. Data agronomi terhadap sigi hasil kacang tanah terdiri atas hasil ubinandan komponen hasil. Hasil diagnosis status hara tanah di wilayah Kecamatan Ngadirojo menunjukkan bahwa (1)semua desa memiliki status N rendah; (2) status P beragam: enam lokasi (27%) rendah, 11 lokasi (50%) sedang, dan 5lokasi (23 %) tinggi; (3) status K menunjukkan 45% lokasi berstatus rendah dan sisanya berstatus tinggi; (4) status Srendah hingga tinggi; (5) status Ca, Mg, dan hara mikro tergolong tinggi; (6) terdapat peluang yang cukup besaruntuk memperkecil senjang hasil kacang tanah di tingkat petani di wilayah Kecamatan Ngadirojo, Wonogiri; dan (7)hasil kacang tanah pada sistem tanam koak (2,20 t polong kering/ha) lebih tinggi dibandingkan sistem tugal (1,95 t/ha).Kata kunci: diagnosisi hara, kacang tanah, produksi, alfisol ABSTRACTDiagnosis and characterization of land is one of important step to distinguish: a constraint of increasingyield, type of management is being required, and yield potential figure. The research was done and concentrated inNgadirojo subdistrict, Wonogiri, Central Java province. The method of survey was soil sampling and taking soilsample from top soil in 0-20 cm depth. Soil samples were taken up from 11 villages, each villages was takenrandomly at two sites. Analysis of soil sample consisted of status P, K, Ca, Mg, S, pH, C-organic and micronutrients Fe and Zn. A part from soil sampling, it was done yield cut survey for groundnut at the farmer's field.The agronomic data of yield cut survey consisted of yield and component of yield.The result of diagnosisindicated that (1) all the villages area of Ngadirojo sub district have low nitrogen fertility; (2) The phosphorusfertility in Ngadirojo is vary, there are six location (27 %) having low P fertility status, eleven location (50 %)having medium P fertility status, and five location (23 %) having high P fertility status; (3) Potassium fertilitystatus in Ngadirojo indicated that 45 % area have low K fertility and high status for the rest; (4) the sulfurfertility is vary from low to high; (5). The Ca, Mg, and micronutrients are high at all location of Ngadirojo subdistrist; (6). There is a big challenge to minimize yield gap of groundnut Ngadirojo sub district; and (7) At farmerslevel, the hole planting technique by hue ("sistem koak") produced groundnut yield higher than "tugal technique"(2.20 t dry pod versus 1.95 Aa).Key words: diagnosis of nutrient, groundnut, yield, alfisol

Abstract

Abortion continues to be one of the most contentious problems globally, encompassing sensitive discussions across legal, ethical, and reproductive health aspects. In Indonesia, the issue is particularly critical due to the conflict between upholding the fetus's right to life and ensuring women's reproductive health rights. Recent regulatory changes illustrate this complexity: what was previously a complete prohibition under the former Criminal Code has transformed into conditional permissibility under Law No. 17 of 2023 on Health, Government Regulation No. 28 of 2024 on Reproductive Health, and Minister of Health Regulation No. 2 of 2025. These restrictions are transitional, as abortion will be fully regulated under the new Criminal Code (Law No. 1 of 2023) scheduled to be implemented in 2026. This study utilizes a normative juridical methodology, incorporating statutory and conceptual approaches, to analyze three fundamental issues: the legal status of the fetus, women's reproductive health rights, and the legal protection afforded to physicians conducting conditional abortions. The findings indicate that although the fetus is legally acknowledged as possessing a right to life from conception, these rights may be curtailed in situations such as medical emergencies or pregnancies arising from rape. Simultaneously, women's reproductive health rights are unequivocally secured at both national and international levels. Legal protections for physicians are there; nonetheless, loopholes and ambiguities permit opposing interpretations, so compromising legal certainty.

Abstract

Previous research has examined EFL learners' perceptions of diverse accents. However, research focusing on the perspectives of Indonesian English teacher candidates is still rare, particularly in the context of speaking classrooms, where identities associated with accents are most prominent.This qualitative case study investigates the impact of a pluricentric teaching approach on the attitudes and speaking confidence of Indonesian pre-service English teachers. Within Indonesia's vast ELT context, where monocentric, native-speaker ideologies often prevail, pre-service teachers frequently experience significant anxiety and linguistic insecurity regarding their own accents and comprehension of diverse English varieties. This study explores how implementing a pluricentric framework which validates diverse English accents and prioritizes intelligibility over native-like pronunciation in an academic speaking course influences these perceptions. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews with five purposively selected pre-service teachers. Thematic analysis revealed three pivotal findings. First, the pluricentric method catalyzed a profound shift in attitudes, moving participants from frustration and anxiety towards an appreciation and normalization of accent diversity. Second, a strong, symbiotic relationship was identified between increased accent acceptance and growth in speaking confidence, facilitated by the mitigation of "accent anxiety" and the reframing of communication as a collaborative effort. Third, participants' experiences fundamentally reshaped their perception of "accuracy," redefining it from phonological perfection to mutual intelligibility, which solidified their identity as legitimate global English users. The study concludes that pluricentric pedagogy is crucial for preparing Indonesian English teachers for the realities of global communication. It recommends the integration of World Englishes and ELF principles into teacher education curricula, a reform of assessment practices to prioritize intelligibility, and the fostering of critical self-reflection among pre-service teachers to break the cycle of native-speaker ideology and build sustainable, authentic confidence.
