Abstract

Medical research or health research involving humans as research subjects has great potential in the development of medical science and technology. However, this research also poses risks to research subjects. Therefore, legal protection for medical researchers is very important. This research aims to analyze the legal basis and regulations applicable in Indonesia to protect medical researchers and humans as research subjects. The research method used is normative juridical with a statute approach and a conceptual approach. The results of the research show that Indonesia has several laws and regulations governing health research, but the material that specifically discusses the legal protection of medical researchers is not explicitly mentioned in the regulations. In the future, it is expected that medical researchers will receive balanced attention, so as to provide peace of mind for medical researchers to work, so that the development of science in the field of health and technology is more advanced and provides many benefits for the medical world.

Abstract

Problems for infertile couples are currently being answered with the advancement of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) which is experiencing a leap of innovation in medical science for handling infertility problems and reproductive challenges. assisted reproduction in Indonesia. This research is normative legal research with statutory, conceptual and comparative approaches. This research also highlights the role of health institutions, practitioners and policy makers in ensuring equitable provision of ART services while respecting cultural and religious values. The research results show that although Indonesia has basic regulations, further improvements are needed to adapt to advances in ART technology and community needs. The lack of harmonization of regulations between countries has led to legal uncertainty regarding the status of children resulting from assisted reproduction, especially in cross-country cases.

Abstract

Information regarding the evaluation of reasoning skills related to online socio-scientific issues is still limited due to limited instruments. This research aims to determine the validity and reliability of an online socio-scientific issue-based critical reasoning instrument. Content validity was proven by the assessment method by five experts. Confirmatory factor analysis was carried out with the Lisrel 8.8 program to prove construct validity. Instrument testing was carried out on 145 grade 10 high school students. Convergent validity was determined through the Average Variance Extracted (AVE) calculation, and reliability was determined through Construct Reliability (CR). There are 12 items from four dimensions of critical reasoning based on online socio-scientific issues: (1) evaluating SSI information, (2) identifying SSI complexity, (3) checking the credibility of information sources, and (4) multiperspective. The results of the content validity test obtained the Aiken coefficient value in the valid category. Based on the analysis results, the GFI, RMSEA, and p-value of the instrument fit the model and have loading factors that meet the minimum criteria. In addition, the instrument meets convergent validity and internal consistency. Thus, it is concluded that the instrument is declared valid and reliable and can be used to measure critical reasoning based on online socio-scientific issues.

Abstract

A road is usually defined as an infrastructure connecting a zone to other zones. As service and safety are essential for vehicle users, any conditions related to the pavement, including surface texture, are considered. The importance of this matter is that many researchers or practitioners are concerned with the quality of asphalt mixtures, whether structural or functional, which affect the safety and security of road users, mainly related to the texture of the pavement surface. This research aims to determine the texture depth (MTD, Mean Texture Depth). The research method used is the circle sand method, which is tested using the Sand Patch tool. The asphalt mixture type uses AC-WC with a composition of 39% coarse aggregate, 54.5% fine aggregate, and 6.5% filler. Optimum Asphalt Content of 6.28% and Density of 2.28 were obtained, and texture depth of 0.549 mm was more significant than 0.45 mm (Bina Marga 2010 revision 3). The conclusion is based on the design composition of the aggregate mix in the AC-WC asphalt mixture, which has a safe texture.

Abstract

The development of technology and information systems is currently so rapid, especially after the corona pandemic era, everything began to use technological assistance, not spared until the elements of the school were required to use technology as a means of learning, one of the considerations of the school in using technology including as a schedule management system. In this website-based scheduling application system for SMAN 1 Madang Suku 1, the author and co-author create a scheduler application that can easily manage schedules that already have integrated data between subjects, teachers, majors, classes at school. the purpose of making this application system is to increase efficiency in the process of scheduling classes and rooms at SMA 1 Madang Rasuan OKU Timur, and also make it easier for students to access the required schedule so that the schedule does not have to be taken at school again. The final result of this research is to produce a web-based application program that can help teachers or school admins to create and manage subject schedules with a good appearance and equipped with various features so that the subject scheduling process becomes more efficient and organized.

Abstract

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in developing teaching materials at SMA and SMK Syakhyakirti Palembang provides convenience and introduces new innovations in the field of education. AI is a technology with tremendous potential to improve the quality of education by offering interactive, engaging, and relevant teaching materials tailored to students' needs. In this study, data was collected through interviews with teachers, observations of the learning process, and analysis of teaching materials created with the assistance of AI technology. The results of the study show that AI can enhance efficiency in the creation of teaching materials, provide a broader range of content, and enable customization of materials based on students' abilities and interests. Additionally, AI supports teachers in monitoring students' learning progress through more accurate and structured data analysis. By implementing this technology, the learning process at SMA and SMK Syakhyakirti Palembang has become more effective, modern, and innovative. This study also provides important recommendations, including training for teachers in the use of AI, the development of supportive technological infrastructure, and strategies for integrating AI into teaching practices. These efforts are expected to be adopted by other educational institutions to foster sustainable improvements in the quality of education.

Abstract

School Counselor or Counselor have to perform professional guidance and counseling services, such as developing guidance and counseling materials from various sources including international, national, and local sources. The purpose of this study is to obtain the guidance and counseling materials contained in the Serat Wedhatama which contains the teachings about morals and virtuous as a source of local teaching. This qualitative research using ethnographic model and explorative content analysis procedures, with a content analysis procedure. Results show that the teachings contained inside Serat Wedhatama are the values and teachings of virtuous morals that can be used as guidance and counseling materials, and can be packaged in the composition of information services and library display.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate school counselor performance in organizing individual counseling services using self evaluation and peer evaluation. This study uses descriptive survey approach through descriptive comparative study. Subjects are school counselors in Special Region of Yogyakarta, especially Bantul District. Data analysis used Mann-Whitney U test. Based on result obtained by Mann-Whitney U significance value between self evaluation with peer evaluation is 0,657 (> 0,05). This means that there is no significant difference in counselor performance evaluation based on self evaluation and peer evaluation instruments.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                               Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan media booklet dan siswa yang menggunakan buku paket pada materi interaksi mahluk hidup dengan lingkungannya dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan hasil belajar setelah menggunakan media booklet pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 15 Kota Bengkulu pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan. Penelitian dilakukan di dua kelas VII SMPN 15 Kota Bengkulu. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang sebelumnya telah diuji normalitas dan homogenitas diperoleh siswa kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen (uji coba) dan siswa kelas VII B sebagai kelas kontrol (pembanding). Jumlah siswa yang terlibat sebanyak 50 siswa yang terdiri dari 25 siswa dari kelas VII A dan 25 siswa dari kelas VII B. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experiment Research tipe nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes untuk hasil belajar IPA. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan media booklet dan siswa yang menggunakan buku paket pada materi interaksi mahluk hidup dengan lingkungan. (2) Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan setelah menggunakan media booklet pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 15 Kota Bengkulu pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan. Kata kunci: booklet; hasil belajar; Bengkulu. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine whether there were significant differences in learning outcomes between students who participated in learning using booklet media and students who used package books on the interaction of living things with their environment and to find out how to improve learning outcomes after using booklet media in grade VII students of Junior High School 15 Bengkulu City on the material of interaction of living things with the environment. The study was conducted in two classes VII of junior high school 15 Bengkulu City. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling techniques that had previously been tested for normality and homogeneity obtained by grade VII A students as an experimental class (trial) and grade VII B students as a control class (comparison). The number of students involved was 50 students consisting of 25 students from class VII A and 25 students from class VII B. This type of research is Quasi Experiment Research type nonequivalent control group design. Data collection techniques use tests for science learning outcomes. The conclusions that can be drawn from this study are (1) There are significant differences in learning outcomes between students who participate in learning using booklet media and students who use textbooks on the interaction of living things with the environment. (2) There was a significant improvement in learning outcomes after using booklet media in grade VII students of Junior High School 15 Bengkulu City on the material of interaction of living things with the environment.
