Abstract

This research is about the use of infographics as a communication medium in conveying information, which is related to the activities of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of South Sumatra. Information is disseminated through social media such as Instagram, Youtube and Tiktok of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of South Sumatra. This study uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. This research uses the concept of media theory. The sample in this study were two people using purposive sampling technique. The results of this study are that the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of South Sumatra has taken the right step in choosing infographics as a medium in delivering information, to attract attention while making it easier for people to understand the content of the message. However, there are still some aspects that must be improved in order to maximize public understanding.

Abstract

Background: A health problem in hemodialysis patients is non-compliance with fluid restrictions. The country with the highest incidence of end-stage renal disease in 2018 was the Jalisco region in Mexico, with 594 people per million. One of the efforts to improve patient compliance is through education and monitoring. Telenursing is one of the modern information and communication technology systems in the health sector that can be used for patient monitoring and providing nursing services. Purpose: To determine telenursing's effect on dialysis patients' adherence. Methods: The research articles were obtained from three databases, ProQuest, PubMed, and Google Scholar, with 27 articles. Search literature using keywords (Bahasa and English), telenursing OR text messaging OR telephone Follow-up OR short message system OR mobile phone text messaging AND adherence OR Compliance AND hemodialysis OR dialysis with the inclusion criteria of research articles from 2016-2020, primary articles, full text, and research subjects were hemodialysis patients (either primary or secondary). The seven articles obtained were critically assessed and analyzed using Duffy's Research Appraisal Checklist Approach. Results: Telenursing research showed increased adherence in the presence of hemodialysis, fluid restriction, medicine, dietary, physical activity, and intention to quit smoking also increased knowledge, quality of life, and self-efficacy of a dialysis patient. Conclusion: Telenursing increases adherence to care and treatment of dialysis patients and improves health status in chronic diseases.

Abstract

Antioksidan adalah senyawa yang dapat menghambat kerusakan sel akibat oksidasi radikal bebas. Kulit terong ungu (Solanum melongena L.) memiliki kandungan antosianin yang memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang dapat mencegah penuaan dini pada kulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan ektrak kulit terong ungu dengan pelarut etanol-asam sitrat menggunakan metode DPPH. Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan metode maserasi selama 16 jam menggunakan pelarut etanol 96% : asam sitrat 10% (6:4) sampai diperoleh ekstrak kental. Identifikasi kandungan fitokimia secara kualitatif dilakukan dengan metode kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT). Pengujian aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak kulit terong ungu dengan spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang 517 nm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak kulit terong ungu mengandung alkaloid, flavonoid, tannin, saponin dan antosianin. Nilai IC50 ekstrak kulit terong ungu adalah 103,35 ± 3,99 ppm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak kulit terong ungu menghasilkan aktivitas antioksidan. Kata kunci: kulit terong ungu, antioksidan, ekstraksi , asam sitrat

Abstract

This research aims to determine the benefits of the barcode system in private banks. Researchers employ a quantitative approach, which is a form of survey research. The research design uses a descriptive analysis method. To collect data, the author conducted interviews, distributed questionnaires and observations, and tracked documents related to the barcode system in the bank. The population in this study were employees of the Operation Division. This research employed the non-probability sampling technique. Researchers used SPSS. By using a barcode system, employees gain several significant benefits. First, the barcode system makes it easier to maintain IT equipment at the bank by providing accurate information about the status and location of the devices, as well as creating a greater sense of responsibility for the devices used. Apart from that, using barcodes also helps overcome the problem of data redundancy, maintain data security, speed up the process of calculating asset depreciation, and speed up the decision-making process. Implementing the barcode system also makes it easier and faster to process asset stock-taking using the asset inventory application, thereby increasing overall work productivity. However, the test results show that using the barcode system is not practical in improving the performance of employees. The calculated t value reveals no significant difference in performance before and after the barcode system implementation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of extrinsic reward and intrinsic reward on affective commitment. Primary data, collected through surveys of respondents from the target population, served as the data source. Data collection methods include in-depth interviews, observations, and surveys using questionnaires. The respondents targeted for the survey are employees who have permanent employee status and have worked for at least one year are targeted for the survey. This study employs descriptive research methods. Sampling employed non-probability techniques, such as convenience sampling. The research results revealed a positive and significant impact of both extrinsic and intrinsic rewards on affective commitment. This shows that giving rewards, both in extrinsic and intrinsic form, can increase employee emotional commitment to the company. Apart from that, the results of the analysis also show that affective commitment has a positive and significant effect on knowledge transfer. This emphasizes the importance of having employees with high emotional commitment, because this can increase their ability to share knowledge and information with colleagues. To develop these findings, companies can consider improving reward programs that can increase employee affective commitment, both through extrinsic and intrinsic rewards. Apart from that, companies can also pay attention to other factors that can increase affective commitment, such as a supportive work culture, opportunities for development, and recognition of employee contributions. In this way, companies can create a work environment that supports knowledge transfer and improves overall performance.

Abstract

Technology adoption is a process in which business actors and farmers have the initiative to participate or be actively involved in innovative activities in the management and utilization of agricultural products. This phenomenon indicates the need for a special strategy in optimizing the utilization of agricultural products. Researchers identify strategic problems/issues through the results of analysis during field observations. After each variable is rated and weighted according to the criteria, it can be concluded that the opportunity value of 2.14 is greater than the threat value of 0.9. If the difference is obtained, the opportunity value is 1.24 (y) greater than the threat of implementing agricultural potential development counseling through KKN activities. Based on an analysis of the implementation of agricultural extension to develop agricultural potential through KKN activities, three strategies were found, namely Collaboration of agricultural extension assistance with innovators, extension assistance in convincing MSME groups to demonstrate technology implementation, and MSME assistance supported by innovation and technology application.

Abstract

Overseas students are students who receive higher education and live far from their place of birth, parents, and relatives and must face academic and psychological challenges during their education. The many difficulties and demands expose overseas students to psychological disorders that impact their psychological well-being. As a result, overseas students require social support from those around them; social support is one of the fact factors affecting call well-being. Peer social support is one of several components of social support. The study aims to determine the role of peer social support in the psychological well-being of overseas students in Yogyakarta. Data was collected using a peer social support scale and a Likert scale model for psychological well-being. One hundred seven (170) overseas students in Yogyakarta between 18 and 21 years old participated. According to the findings of this study, there is a significant positive relationship between peer social support and psychological well-being. The effective contribution in this study is 39.8 percent, and the correlation coefficient is 0.631. In this study, the significance level was 0.005 < 0.05.

Abstract

A person's personal character is reflected in the way they live their religious teachings. Character is developed through formal education. The role of schools as educational institutions is obliged to provide character education for children. More specifically, children's character is formed from religion, namely worship education. So schools from elementary level such as kindergarten need to implement worship education. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of worship education at the ABA Muttahidah Luwuk Kindergarten. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative. The research results show that worship education at the ABA Muttahidah Luwuk Kindergarten This aims to ensure that students can worship correctly according to Islamic teachings and be devoted to Allah SWT. Worship education can be done by learning to read prayers, pray and recite the Koran. There are obstacles in implementing worship education, AUD teachers as mentors, role models, facilitators and motivators play a very important role in optimizing Worship Education at the ABA Muttahidah Luwuk Kindergarten. From these findings, it is hoped that schools or kindergartens, school principals, AUD teachers will always innovate in Worship Education through varied methods, media and learning resources.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how organizational learning and work environment affect commitment to the company. Both quantitative and descriptive research methodologies are used in the study. Researchers employed descriptive research in this study. Non-probability sampling was employed in this study, and the sample size was one hundred participants. The author of this study collected data from respondents via questionnaires, interviews, and observation. Multiple regression analyses have been used in this study. The organizational commitment variable is positively and significantly impacted by the independent variables organizational learning and work environment, according to the results of the individual parameter significance test. These findings suggest that factors related to the work environment and effective organizational learning can raise the degree of organizational commitment. The study's findings also demonstrate that organizational dedication is positively impacted by the workplace. Overall, the study's findings point to the need for businesses to focus on and enhance organizational learning in the workplace because doing so can increase workers' organizational commitment. Emphasis on adequate facilities, good learning opportunities, leader support, a comfortable work environment, and interaction between employees can help increase the level of organizational commitment within the company.

Abstract

Perpustakaan di RPTRA Shibi menunjukkan adanya permasalahan berupa minimnya kunjungan perpustakaan, karena penggunaan gawai yang tidak terkendali pada anak-anak yang membawa dampak negatif bagi minat baca dan literasi. Permasalahan ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya strategi dari pengelola RPTRA untuk menarik minat baca anak-anak sehingga kegiatan literasi di wilayah tersebut kurang. Berdasarkan analisis masalah serta mempertimbangkan perkembangan teknologi yang tidak dapat dihindari, tim melaksanakan program berupa peningkatan fungsi perpustakaan sebagai pusat literasi yang memiliki daya tarik melalui integrasi kegiatan daring dan luring dengan penerapan konsep hybrid flexible (hyflex). Tujuan program untuk memberdayakan pengelola perpustakaan RPTRA Shibi dalam mengoptimalkan perpustakaan menjadi Thematic Hyflex Library berbasis AR sebagai pusat literasi masyarakat dan menigkatkan minat baca dan literasi masyarakat mitra melalui Thematic Hyflex Library berbasis AR. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini meliputi penetapan base line, langkah-langkah pengukuran permasalahan, langkah strategis, rancangan untuk mengevaluasi hasil kegiatan dan solusi. Hasil pengabdian memberi dampak pada minat literasi kunjungan perpustakaan, penggunaan gawai sebagai wadah literasi, dan penggunaan internet sebagai wadah hiburan yang dapat dibuktikan dengan hasil dari angket. Keberlanjutan program berupa perpustakaan digital, pojok baca augmented reality dan kegiatan thematic.
