Abstract

The low number of students who have grades above the minimal mastery learning in physics subjects is the focus of the problem in this study. The study was a real experimental study using a posttest-only design. This study consisted of two classes, the control class, and the trial class. The purpose of this study to describe how much the physics learning outcomes of students have taught without using problem-solving methods and students who taught using problem-solving techniques. The instrument used in this study was a physics learning achievement test that had been tested for validity and reliability by two experts. The results showed that the average score in the control class was 12,86 and in the experimental class was 14,69.

Abstract

Masalah utama penelitian ini adalah bagaimana menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas X SMAN 09 Makassar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada siswa kelas X SMAN 09 Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang terdiri dari dua siklus dimana setiap siklus dilaksanakan sebanyak 3 kali pertemuan. Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 09 Makassar sebanyak 34 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus pertama jumlah peserta didik yang mencukupi atau melebihi standar kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) adalah 23 orang atau 67,64%. Secara klasikal belum terpenuhi karena nilai rata-rata diperoleh sebesar 69,26%. Sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 26 orang atau 76,47% telah memenuhi KKM dan secara klasikal sudah terpenuhi yaitu nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 71,12%.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pemahaman siswa kelas X SMAN 09 Makassar melalui model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe jigsaw mengalami peningkatan.Kata Kunci: Kooperatif, Tipe Jigsaw, Peserta didik, Pemahaman FisikaThe main problem of this research is how to apply the Jigsaw cooperative learning model to improve understanding of the X class students of SMAN 09 Makassar . This study aims to improve students' understanding of the jigsaw cooperative learning model to students of SMAN 09 Makassar class X. This research is action research (classroom action research) consisting of two cycles in which each cycle of meetings held 3 times . Procedures include research planning, action, observation and reflection . Subjects in this study were students of SMAN 09 Makassar class X as many as 34 people . The results showed that in the first cycle of the number of students who meet or exceed minimum standards mastery criterion ( KKM ) is 23 people or 67.64 %. Classically not been met because the average value of 69.26 % was obtained. While on the second cycle increased to 26 people, or 76.47 % have fulfilled and the classical KKM are met ie the average value obtained was 71.12 % . Based on the results of the studies mentioned above , it can be concluded that understanding X  graders of SMAN 09 Makassar through Jigsaw cooperative learning model has increased.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Jigsaw Type, Students, Understanding Phisics

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Fisika pada siswa kelas XTKJ SMK Nasional Makassar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Fisika dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match pada siswa kelas XTKJ SMK Nasional Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Class Action Reaserch) yang terdiri dari dua siklus dimana siklus I dilaksanakan sebanyak empat kali pertemuan dan siklus II dilaksanakan sebanyak lima kali pertemuan. Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XTKJ SMK Nasional Makassar semester ganjil Tahun ajaran 2013/2014 sebanyak 34 orang peserta didik yang terdiri dari 26 orang peserta didik laki-laki dan 8 orang peserta didik perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I yang tuntas secara individual dari 34 orang peserta didik hanya 21 orang peserta didik atau 61,76% yang memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) atau berada pada kategori sedang.  Secara klasikal belum terpenuhi karena nilai rata-rata diperoleh sebesar 66,18. Sedangkan pada siklus II dimana dari 34 orang peserta didik terdapat 24 orang peserta didik atau 70,59% telah memenuhi KKM dan secara klasikal sudah terpenuhi yaitu nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 71,03 atau berada dalam kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Hasil belajar Fisika siswa kelas XTKJ SMK Nasional Makassar melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match mengalami peningkatan.Keywords: Hasil belajar fisika, kooperatif, make a matchThe main problem in this research is how to implement cooperative learning model make a match to improve learning outcomes in grade XTKJ Physics National Vocational Makassar. Research procedure includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Subjects in this study were students XTKJ National Vocational Makassar semester of 2013/2014 academic year as many as 34 students consisting of 26 students male and 8 female learners. The results showed that in the first cycle were completed individually from 34 students only 21 students or 61.76%, which meets the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) or middle category. Classically has not been met because the average value obtained for 66.18. While on the second cycle in which of the 34 students there are 24 people or 70.59% of learners have met KKM and classically been met and that the average value obtained for 71.03 or are in a high category. Based on these results above, it can be concluded that the results of learning physics class students XTKJ National Vocational Makassar through the implementation of cooperative learning model make a match increased.Keywords: physics learning outcomes, cooperative, make a match

Abstract

The study is research and development that aims to develop augmented reality-based chemistry learning module which is valid, practical, and effective. Augmented reality-based chemistry learning module refers to the 4-D development model by Thiagarajan et. al., which includes the stages of defining, designing, developing and disseminating. This learning modules had been conducted the validation stage by the assessors or experts and gone through field trial, revised by the developer to produce learning module which is valid, effective, and practical. The results of the study reveal that: (1) the assessments of feasibility or validity of the media expert and a material expert are in the very valid category; (2) in the field trial stage to 33 students of grade XI MIA 1 at SMAN 10 Makassar obtained the mean score of  80.00 learning outcomes from an ideal score of 100 with a grade completeness of 82%; (3) the responses of students and teachers respectively with a percentage of  80.38% and 100%, so the module is stated as practical. Therefore, the conclusion of the study is the augmented reality-based chemistry learning module which had been developed using 4D model is valid, practical, and effective to be applied in learning.

Abstract

Influence Of Problem Based Learning Model To Biology Learning Outcomes And Critical Thinking Skill Of Students. This research is a quasi experimental with pretest posttest control group design which aims to determine critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. The research sample was randomly selected and the XII IPA 1 was selected as the control and the XII IPA 3 as experimental class. The technique of collecting data was through giving test description to measure critical thinking skills and multiple choice test to measure biology learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used are descriptive and inferential statistics analysis with the independent sample t-test. The result of descriptive analysis show that students who are taught with the model problem based learning have critical thinking skills and learning outcomes in the middle category. While the results of inferential analysis show that there are differences in critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of students who are using the problem based learning model and conventional learning, that show average value of problem-based learning model are higher. The results show the problem based learning model has a positive effect on critical thinking skills and biology learning outcomes in mutation topic at SMAN 10 Luwu Utara.

Abstract

The PKM activities carried out aim to answer the formulation of the problems, namely: (1) To design karst-based physics learning using the Student Worksheet (LKPD) (2) To Design the use of Learners (LKPD) in learning Physics Science. (3) To analyze the responses of Basic Physical Science Teachers in the implementation of PKM Activities. The method in PKM activities is in the form of problem solving which in principle is how to create and design a karst area environment as a learning resource supplemented with Student Work Sheets (LKPD). The form of problem solving offered is to provide guidance to Physics Science Teachers, in designing karst areas as a source of learning and designing LKPD in accordance with the ability of teachers at each level of the class. Some variations of the training methods are: (1) the experimental method (2) the discussion method (3) the lecture method. The results of Community Service activities obtained 1) Design of Physical Science Learning Based on Karst with Student Worksheets (LKPD) 2) The Use of Student Worksheets (LKPD) in Physics Science Learning, 79.17%, participants agreed to design karst-based learning using LKPD, 75.0% of the participants agreed to conduct experiments and prepare LKPD based on karst area, 62.50% of participants would conduct dissemination activities for other subject teachers, 66.67% of participants would give assignments to students by observing directly in Karst Areas Maros, 70.83% of participants will include this activity as a routine MGMP activity every year, 95.83% of Teachers are able to carry out karst-based Physics Learning with LKPD.

Abstract

Abstract. Community Partnership Program (PKM) has been conducted with the aim of 1) designing physics science learning with experimental methods accompanied by LKPD, 2) designing the use of Student Worksheets (LKPD) in physics science learning, 3) analyzing the responses of Physics Science Teachers in the implementation of PKM Activities. several methods were used to achieve the goal; 1) lecturing method, 2) training method, 3) experimentation method, 4) assigning tasks method, 5) discussion method, 6) problem solving method. The results obtained from this PKM activity are; 1) Physical Science Learning Plan with experimental method accompanied by Student Worksheet (LKPD), 2) Use of Learner Worksheet (LKPD) where 93.93%, participants agree to design, 90.90% of participants agree to conduct experiments and compose, 75.76% of participants will disseminate activities for other subjects, 81.82% of participants will assign tasks to Students by conducting observations, 98.92% of participants will make PKM a regular MGMP activity every year, 93.93% of Teachers are able to carry out what is obtained in the Training , 3) The Responses of Physics Science Teachers in the Implementation of PKM Activities, 98.92% said the activities in accordance with the expectations and objectives of teachers participating in PKM activities, 45.45% said, Learning Science Physics with the method of experimentation accompanied (LKPD) takes longer in the preparation, 60.61% were able to design Physics Science Learning with experimental methods accompanied by Student Worksheet (LKPD) with a combination of KIT IPA, 98.92% said that Learning Science Physics with experimental methods accompanied by Student Worksheet (LKPD) as a learning resource requires special training and skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity was to providereinforcement to the Makassar City Physics Subject Teachers(MGMP) in formulating a question-making grid, constructingitems, analyzing items, calculating the validity and reliabilityof assessment instruments physics learning outcomes tomeasure Higher Order Thinking skills (HOTS). To achievethis goal, a workshop was held for Physics teachers who weremembers of the Makassar City Physics MGMP at SMAN 10Makassar as their secretariat. This workshop was held for 4weeks, every Saturday. In the first week reinforcement wasmade in the form of presentations on techniques for makinggrids, techniques for formulating items then continued with theassignment of making a grid for participants. Then in thesecond week, there was a discussion about the grid that hadbeen done by the participants, then continued with formulatingthe points which continued with the presentation of each group.All participants were asked to comment on items made byother participants. In the third week, presentations were madeby the dedicated team regarding item analysis techniqueswhich continued with the assignment of assignments toparticipants. Last week, there was a discussion about the itemsthat the participants had made to ensure that all the itemsproduced by the participants were included in the HOTScategory. The results showed that above 85% of the MGMPPhysics participants were able to produce Physics items thatwere included in the HOTS category.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kegiatan PKM yang dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah, yakni: 1) bagaimana memanfaatkan potensi sumber daya alam di Kawasan Gua Leang Lonrong sehingga diperoleh hasil yang maksimal terutama dalam bidang ekonomi, 2) bagaimana menumbuhkan sadar wisata bagi siswa SMP sekitar Kawasan Gua Leang Lonrong Kabupaten Pangkep. Metode dalam kegiatan PKM berupa observasi lapangan dan pemberian kuisioner pada siswa sebagai bentuk awal dalam memahami kesadaran yang dimiliki siswa terhadap potensi wisata di lingkungannya. Hasil yang diharapkan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu; 1) Potensi sumber daya Kawasan Gua Leang Lonrong 2) Potensi wisata dikawasan Gua Leang Lonrong. 3) Artikel yang terpublikasi nasional 4) Video Kegiatan. Kegiatan Pengabdian yang dilakukan memberikan informasi berupa; 1) Potensi sumber daya alam di Kawasan Gua Leang Lonrong berupa sumberdaya mineral, sumberdaya air, sumberdaya hayati, potensi pariwisata dan ekowisata. Setiap potensi sumberdaya yang terdapat di Kawasan ini dapat dimaksimalkan pemanfaatannya sehingga menumbuhkan potensi ekonomi bagi masyarakat sekitar. 2) Menumbuhkan sadar wisata bagi siswa SMP sekitar Kawasan Gua Leang Lonrong Kabupaten Pangkep, dilakukan dengan mejadikan Kawasan Wisata sebagai bagian dari pembelajaran. Lokasi wisata yang memiliki banyak sumber daya yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai laboratorium alam bagi siswa sekolah. Kata kunci: Leang Lonrong, Sadar Wisata, Potensi Sumberdaya

Abstract

Mitra Program Kemitraan Komunitas (PKM) ini adalah dosen S1 Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika FKIP Universitas Sulawesi Barat. Masalahnya adalah: (1) masih menggunaan buku teks dalam menjelaskan materi dan (2) tidak tersedianya bahan ajar yang dibuat oleh dosen prgram studi. Sasaran kegiatan adalah dosen program studi pendidikan fisika memiliki bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan keterampilan pedagogical content knowledge. Metode yang digunakan adalah: ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan mitra pendamping. Hasil yang dicapai adalah (1) mitra memiliki pengetahuan dalam menyusun dan merancang bahan ajar berbasis PCK dan (2) mitra memiliki bahan ajar berbbasis PCK.
