Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (i) mendeskripsikan perbedaan minat belajar IPA peserta didik yang diajar dengan metode praktikum dan diajar dengan metode demonstrasi; (ii) mendeskripsikan perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang diajar dengan metode praktikum dan diajar dengan metode demonstrasi; (iii)menganalisis pengaruh metode praktikum terhadap minat belajar IPA; (iv)menganalisis pengaruh metode praktikum terhadap hasil belajar IPA. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMP Babussalam Kepulauan Selayar dengan jumlah sampel 24 orang pada kelas eksperimen dan 24 orang pada kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif didapatkan bahwa: (i) Minat belajar IPA peserta didik yang diajar dengan metode praktikum berada pada kategori tinggi; (ii) hasil belajar IPA peserta didik yang diajar dengan metode praktikum berada pada kategori baik; (iii) minat belajar IPA peserta didik yang diajar dengan metode demonstrasi berada pada kategori cukup; (iv) minat belajar IPA peserta didik yang diajar dengan metode demonstrasi berada pada kategori cukup; (v) minat belajar IPA peserta didik yang diajar dengan metode praktikum lebih tinggi daripada minat belajar IPA peserta didik yang diajar dengan metode demonstrasi; (vi) hasil belajar IPA peserta didik yang diajar dengan metode praktikum lebih tinggi daripada hasil belajar IPA peserta didik yang diajar dengan metode demonstrasi.

Abstract

This research is actual experimental research using a 2x2 factorial design. The aim of this research is to analyze the overall difference in the Problem Solving abilitie of students who are taught using the Problem Based learning model and those taught using the discovery learning model and to analyze the interaction between the learning model and self direct learning on the solving abilities of class XI MIA students. The sample in this study was 48 students consisting of two classes XI MIA 1 as a class taught using the Problem based learning model and class XI MIA 3 as a class taught using the discovery learning model. The average score for problem solving abilities taught using the Problem based learning model was 67.50 and those taught using the discovery learning model was 57.90. The difference in the average score of Problem Polving abilities of students who are taught using the Problem Based learning model and those taught using the discovery learning model for students who have high self-directed learning is 67.30 and 60.20. Meanwhile, the average score for problem solving abilities for self-directed learning students is low at 62.70 and 56.30. The ANOVA test results show that there is no interaction between the learning model and self-directed learning on students' Problem Solving abilitie.

Abstract

Planetary Boundary Layer (PBL) is influenced by the processes of transfer of momentum, energy, and materials between tPBL and surface layer. Surface fluxes variables consist of Sensible heat flux (SHF) and Latent heat flux (LHF), these variables are also used to measure transport level in this process. Madden Julian Oscillation also contribute in the PBL condition. Therefore, this study was aimed to describe the SHF/LHF and PBL profiles during strong and weak Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) periods around Makassar area and its relationship. PBL height was obtained by using the Bulk Richardson Number (Rib) method and bulk aerodynamic for SHF/LHF. Then correlation analysis was done between these two variables. SHF in both strong and weak MJO at 12.00 UTC have greater value than 00.00 UTC, while LHF showed the opposite. PBL height tends to be higher at 00.00 UTC than 12.00 UTC, with the average values were between549,9 to 690,5 m. Annual mean of PBL height ranged between 470 to 1100 m. Maximum average PBL occurred during the transition season I (MAM) at 00.00 UTC, while the minimum happened during transition season 2 (SON) at 12.00 UTC. However, the PBL height profile had shown weak correlation to SHF/LHF value during both MJO strong and weak in Makassar Area.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the development of I-SETS (Islamic, Science, Environment, Technology, Society) based teaching materials to improve students' critical thinking skills which aims to describe the suitability of I-SETS based teaching materials, practitioners' assessments of I-SETS based teaching materials, increasing students' critical thinking skills, and producing I-SETS based teaching materials. This research uses 4D model development. The instruments used in this research were teaching material validation sheets, practitioner assessment questionnaires, and students' critical thinking skills test instruments. The practicality criteria are seen from practitioners' assessments of teaching materials, and the effectiveness criteria are seen from the increase in critical thinking skills which are analyzed using the N-gain equation. Based on the results of the analysis, conclusions were drawn: I-SETS based teaching materials developed based on expert assessment using Aiken's V index analysis were declared valid and suitable for use with minor revisions; I-SETS based teaching materials in terms of practitioner/teacher responses are in the very good category; The effectiveness of I-SETS based teaching materials is obtained from the results of students' critical thinking skills tests analyzed using N-gain with an average score of 0.56 in the medium category, which means that there is an increase in students' critical thinking skills so it can be said that the teaching materials The developed I-SETS is effective and can improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis nilai suseptibilitas magnetik dan sifat guano Gua Mimpi Taman Nasional Bantimurung Bulusaraung. Sampel diperoleh di Gua Mimpi pada koordinat 05°01'10,6" S 119°41'11,3" E dengan mengambil sampel pada 30 titik yang berbeda. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode suseptibilitas magnetik dan XRD. Nilai suseptibilitas magnetik guano di Gua Mimpi bervariasi dengan rentang 2,867×10-6m3/kg hingga 85,507×10-6m3/kg. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa sampel mengandung mineral magnetik yang bersifat paramagnetik. Hasil analisis jenis mineral magnetik berdasarkan pola difraksi menunjukkan mineral yang dominan adalah Al(OH)3Aluminium (III) Hydroxide, Na2Al2Si3O102H2O Natrium Aluminosilikate, AlO(OH) Aluminium Oxide Hydroxide, Al2032Si4.2H2O Aluminium Silikate Hydrat, AlKO8Si3 Kalium Feldspar sementara mineral dalam jumlah minor terkandung pada sampel guano Fe3O4  Iron (II,III) Oxyde dan Si3O2 Quarzt.

Abstract

The study is a development research aims 1) to find discovery learning-based junior high school science learning tools to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes, 2) to analyze the validity, practicality and effectiveness of discovery learning based junior high school science learning tools to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes. The development model used in this study refers to the 4D development model, which consists of several stages, namely defining, designing, development, and dissemination. The learning devices developed had been conducted through the validation stage by the validator and through trials, and had been revised by the developers to produce learning devices which are valid, practical, and effective. The results of the study reveal that (1) the expert’s validation of RPP is 3.30 with valid criteria, (2) the expert’s validation of BAPD is 3.24 with valid criteria, (3) the expert’s validation of LKPD is 3.51 with very valid criteria, and (4) the expert’s validation of THB is 3.35 with valid criteria. The learning devices are stated to be practical because the learning devices implementation is in fully implemented category with an average value of 3.58. The teacher’s response and students’ responses are in very positive category with 87.50% and 87.50%, respectively. The learning devices also meet the effectiveness value with the results of increasing the score of learning motivation from 69.04% to 82.04% and the learning outcomes meet effective criteria with a class completeness percentage of 85%.

Abstract

This study is a development research that aims to produce a STEM-based Chemical Bonds SSP devices. The development model used in this study refers to the 4D development model by Thiagarajan, et al, which consists of the definition stage, design stage, development stage, and dissemination stage. The learning device developed are lesson plan, students’ learning materials, LKPD, and THB. The systematic preparation of each component of the SSP device is in accordance with the standard process in Permendikbud Number 22 of 2016. The learning scenario adopts the Problem Based Learning (PBL) syntax on Chemical Bonds materials. The trial of the SSP device was conductedt UPT SMKN 2 Barru with a total of 35 students. The result of expert validation shows that the developed SSP devices are in very valid category with an average value of 3.50. The developed SSP devices meet the very practical criteria with an average value of 90.44. The increase in learning outcomes as evidenced by class completeness which reached 85.71% indicates that these SSP devices are in effective category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed STEM-based SSP device products are valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Abstrak. Model belajar hybrid Model diperkenalkan sebagai solutif dari persoalan bagaimana menyampaikan materi pada peserta didik dengan mengantisipasi Covid-19. Kekayaan alam yang tersebar di sekitar lingkungan peserta didik belajar ini sangat erat kaitannya dengan pembelajaran fisika, terutama materi tentang pengukuran, zat dan energi, fluida statika dan dinamika, proses perubahan energi, dan lainnya. Begitu juga pembelajaran Ilmu Kebumian, seperti ekosistem dan beberapa aspek lingkungan lainnya . Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah: 1) Bagaimana merancang pembelajaran IPA Fisika Berbasis lingkungan; 2) Bagaimana menggunakan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) pada pembelajaran IPA Fisika berbasis lingkungan; 3) Bagaimana Tanggapan Guru IPA Fisika dalam pelaksanaan Kegiatan PKM. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu 1) Pembelajaran IPA Fisika berbasis lingkungan dilakukan dengan Metode pengamatan langsung di lingkungan sekolah; 2) Penggunaan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) pada pembelajaran IPA Fisika berbasis Lingkungan dengan memberikan pertanyaan mendasar yang diperoleh dari proses pengamatan langsung di lapangan dimulai dengan pengamatan, menanya, mencoba, menalar dan mengomunikasikan sesuai dengan pendekatan saintifik dalam Kurikulum 2013; 3) Hasil angket untuk memperoleh tanggapan Guru-Guru yang mengikuti kegiatan PKM ini berada ³80% untuk semua indikator, kecuali indikator melakukan evaluasi pada pelaksanaan kegiatan sekitar 79%. Kata Kunci: Batuan Karst, Leang-Leang, Polman, Covid-19

Abstract

Abstrak. Keterampilan proses sains perlu dilatih kepada peserta didik untuk menjelajahi dan memahami alam sekitar. Pembelajaran IPA seharusnya melatih keterampilan proses sain untuk mengembangkan keterampilan observasi, merencanakan penyelidikan, menginterpretasi data, dan menyimpulkan. Pemanfaatan KIT IPA yang tersedia, para Peserta Didik dapat berhadapan secara langsung dengan alat-alat IPA. Alat-alat ini memberikan manfaat besar bagi Peserta Didik, karena secara langsung dapat mengamati dan melakukan sendiri dalam proses pembelajarannya. Untuk mengantisipasi kesulitan yang dialami guru, maka diperlukan terobosan kegiatan dengan melibatkan Tim Dosen dari Prodi S2 Pendidikan Fisika PPs UNM Makassar dengan judul PKM Pembelajaran IPA Fisika dengan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Berbasis KIT Bagi Guru MGMP IPA Wilayah 3 Polman. Metode yang akan digunakan berupa, a) metode pelatihan, digunakan untuk memberikan bimbingan/penjelasan tentang kegiatan-kegiatan yang akan dilakukan, b) metode pemberian tugas, digunakan untuk memberikan tugas kepada guru untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan sesuai dengan topic/KD yang dibahas, c) metode diskusi, digunakan untuk memecahkan hal-hal yang kurang dipahami peserta sehubungan dengan pokok bahasan yang dibuat LKPD-nya, d) metode problem solving dengan pendekatan belajar tuntas, digunakan untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugas yang ada untuk dikerjakan di rumah. MGMP IPA Wilayah III Polman sebagai mitra dalam kegiatan ini yaitu menyediakan tempat dan sumber daya manusia yang siap untuk mengikuti pelatihan, menyiapkan sarana dan prasarana, Upaya keberlanjutan program pengabdian masyarakat ini diwujudkan dengan menjadikan mitra sebagai binaan dalam bidang pendidikan. Sebagai sasaran umum adalah kegiatan pengaplikasian LKPD berbasis KIT dalam pembelajaran IPA Fisika. Luaran akhir yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah a) bahan ajar, b) LKPD, c) artikel ilmiah, d) video dan e) HKI.Kata Kunci : Rangkaian Listrik, KIT, MGMP

Abstract

Daerah karst yang berada di Dusun Salenrang Desa Rammang-rammang Kabupaten Maros terdapat mata air pertemuan antara air asin dan air tawar yang tidak saling bercampur satu sama lain yang digunakan masyarakat sebagai salah satu sumber air bersih pada saat musim kemarau. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka penelitian dilakukan guna mengetahui komposisi mineral dari tanah pertemuan air asin dan air tawar di Dusun salenrang serta pada mata air Ma’rung, dengan cara mengkarakterisasi sampel tanah dengan menggunakan alat XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) dan SEM-EDS (Scanning Electron Microscopy-Electron Dispersive Spectroscopy). Adapun hasil uji SEM-EDS diperoleh adalah silikon, aluminium, dan besi, dimana molar oksida besi yang terbentuk yaitu SiO2, Al2O3 dan FeO, serta struktur yang terbentuk dominan adalah monoklinik. Sedangkan berdasarkan uji XRD diperoleh hasil dari kedua sampel tanah adalah berbentuk kristal, dimana dominan komposisinya adalah sanidine.
