Abstract

This study examines the significant impact of effective instructional leadership and management by school principals on classroom learning climate and teacher performance, which in turn supports effective teaching practices.  Instructional leadership encompasses not only coordinating learning aspects, including management processes, direction, and empowering teachers as human resources, but also leveraging other resources to achieve learning objectives. As instructional leaders, principals are challenged to continuously enhance their effectiveness to improve educational quality and achieve school and educational goals, while staying abreast of evolving information to conduct visionary leadership aligned with current needs. The study explores the components of instructional leadership, encompassing curriculum management, teaching and learning processes, assessment, and the coordination of school learning communities, all of which influence teacher performance. Given the intricate relationship between effective instructional leadership and productive teacher performance in the classroom, this study investigates the correlation between strong instructional leadership and teacher productivity in implementing effective instruction.
