Abstract

Betao Riase Village, located in Sidenreng Rappang Regency, is known as a center for local durian production. However, during the peak harvest season, the village faces the issue of fruit oversupply, rendering a large portion of the durian unmarketable. To address this, students from the Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Parepare conducted a training on producing Dampo' durian jam as a form of product diversification. This initiative aims to enhance the community's knowledge and skills in processing durian into value-added products while creating opportunities for home-based entrepreneurship using local resources. The training was attended by 30 participants, consisting of housewives and members of farmer groups. The training process included material selection, processing, and basic packaging. The results showed strong enthusiasm from the participants and successful production of durian jam with a distinctive taste and promising market potential. Some participants have even started selling their products through local village bazaars. Beyond extending the shelf life of the fruit, the activity fostered entrepreneurial spirit and productive use of local potential. Further training in food packaging and digital marketing is recommended to ensure business sustainability. This activity highlights the strategic role of university students as agents of community empowerment in developing rural economies based on local potential.

Abstract

The ethnographic Community Service Program (KKN) in Betao Riase Village, Pitu Riawa District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency, was designed to address the socio-economic challenges of rural communities that rely on agricultural products without added value. Through an ethnographic approach, the KKN team conducted participatory observations and in-depth interviews to understand the local social and cultural structures as a basis for intervention. During the 40-day implementation, the program focused on four main areas: education and religion, facilities and infrastructure, economy and industry, and social and community. The results of the program include improving students' literacy skills, participation in religious activities, production of durian jam as an MSME product, and training in liquid organic fertilizer to support sustainable agriculture. Cooperation activities and the celebration of the 76th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia also strengthened the social cohesion of the community. Evaluations showed an increase in household income of up to 28.6%, a decrease in waste volume of up to 40%, and high community participation. This article confirms that the ethnographic approach in KKN is able to encourage community independence through collaboration between academics and residents, and provide a basis for development policies based on local potential and ecological awareness.

Abstract

This study compares the performance of the K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) and Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC) algorithms in sentiment analysis of the 2024 Regional Election (Pilkada) based on Indonesian local data sourced from platform X. A total of 1,187 tweets were collected through crawling, followed by extensive preprocessing and manual sentiment labeling by a professional linguist to ensure data validity and reliability. The study highlights NBC's superior accuracy (81.05%) compared to K-NN (75.26%), largely due to the characteristics of short-text social media data that align with NBC's independence assumptions. Key terms identified through TF-IDF analysis include “pilkada”, “2024”, and “damai” in positive sentiment, while “mahkamah konstitusi” and “kalah” dominated negative sentiment. The results imply that although public discourse largely supports the election process, critical sentiments toward election dispute issues persist. These findings offer practical implications for election authorities, policymakers, and digital campaign strategists, particularly in optimizing public communication strategies, early detection of potential conflicts, and designing public opinion monitoring systems based on real-time sentiment analysis. By leveraging high-quality labeled local data, this study makes a significant contribution to modeling public opinion dynamics in Indonesia during political events.

Abstract

This study examines and analyzes the models and strategies in the implementation of character education in elementary schools/ madrasah Ibtidaiyah which aims to develop positive moral, ethical, and personality values in students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method by collecting sources relevant to the study of this research to be studied systematically from and comparing with character learning models in other countries in order to gain new understanding and findings. The findings of this study are (1) Involving children in social activities that begin with teaching moral values can build empathy and a sense of social responsibility (2) Civic Education learning is the main strength in integrating plural values, tolerance, historical insight, (3) The model that is relevant to the current conditions in the implementation of character education for students in elementary schools / madrasah ibtidaiyah is the exemplary model, (4) Strategies that combine character education learning with technology such as learning videos or educational games that can help students understand character values in a more fun way.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu, 1) untuk menganalisis bagaimana upaya kiai untuk meningkatkan kemampuan santri membaca kitab kuning; 2) Untuk menganalisi apa saja faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan santri membaca kitab kuning santri. Sedangkan jenis penelitian yang dimanfaatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian studi kasus di Pondok Pesaantren Mambaul Khairat Kabupaten Ketapang Kalimantan Barat. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu, 1) Upaya kiai untuk meningkatkan kemampuan santri membaca kitab kuning ada 4 (empat) yaitu; Menyusun kurikulum pondok pesantren yang mengutamakan kitab kuning, Menerapkan sistem keinaikan kitab dan kelas, yaitu ula, wustha dan ulya, Menggunakan metode yang variatif dan strategi yang tepat dalam mengajar kitab kuning, Menyelenggarakan kompetisi atau lomba membaca kitab kuning (MQK) pada setiap menjelang akhirussanah pondok pesantren. 2) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan santri membaca kitab kuning adalah: Adanya dukungan penuh dari pimpinan pondok pesantren, terdapat tenaga pengajar kitab berpengalaman yang menguasai metode dan strategi mengajar cepat membaca kitab kuning, Memiliki sarana dan prasarana pesantren berupa ruang kelas, laptop, LCD proyektor dan pengeras suara. Adapun faktor penghambat untuk meiningkatkan keimampuan santri membaca kitab kuning adalah; Santri yang masuk pondok tidak meimiliki dasar membaca al qur’an yang baik, terjadinya penurunan semangat santri dalam belajar, 4) santri hanya mondok seilama 3 (tiga) tahun.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini: 1) untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk meningkatkan minat belajar. 2) untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor penghambat dan pendukung untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Ketapang. Dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian 1) Minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMA Negeri 2 Ketapang tergolong baik, hal ini disebabkan oleh guru PAI yang profesional dalam menjalankan tugasnya yaitu dengan kedisiplinan guru dalam mengajar. Strategi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa melalui strategi pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan dengan membangkitkan dan mengembangkan kemampuan berfikir siswa. Selain itu guru Pendidikan Agama Islam juga menggunakan beberapa metode pembelajaran yaitu metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi dan demonstrasi. 2) Kendala atau hambatan yang dihadapi oleh guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Ketapang yaitu kurangnya gairah siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, Masalah ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal (yang berasal dari dalam diri siswa) dan juga oleh faktor eksternal (yang berasal dari luar diri siswa itu sendiri).

Abstract

This study evaluated the effectiveness of computer training in improving the technological skills of elementary school teachers at UPTD SDN 168 Inpres Jambua through a participatory evaluation approach. The training was conducted using the blended learning method, and the evaluation used questionnaires, focus group discussions (FGDs), interviews, and observations. The results showed significant improvement in teachers' technology skills. Participant feedback indicated that the relevant training materials and interactive methods were very effective. The findings confirmed the importance of continuous and participatory training and the need to adjust the training program based on participant feedback. Recommendations include increasing interactivity, adapting materials to technological developments and ongoing support for teachers. This study contributes to the development of more effective and sustainable technology training programs for primary school teachers.

Abstract

Research data is all information obtained to support the running of the research. The data in the study is divided into two forms, namely primary data (principal) and secondary data (supporting). The data source in the study is the subject from which the data was obtained. The primary data sources in qualitative research are words and actions, the rest are additional data such as documents and others. The results of this study found several aspects, namely consisting of; First, from the aspect of implementing flipped classroom mode learning, it is concluded into three groups; 1) Flipped Classroom learning planning, 2) Implementation of Blended Learning, and 3) Assessment. Second, from the aspect of Implications, several impacts were found on Flipped Classroom learning, including; 1) Learning motivation, 2) Independence, and 3) the Development of Qur'an and Hadith Learning. Then the Ketiga is an inhibitory aspect that includes 14 among others; 1) Assessment Online, 2) Evidence of Student Process, 3) Student Memory, 4) Parental Support, 5) Parents' Fair Play, 6) Parental Saturation, 7) Student Slowness, 8) Student Trust, 9) Shame, 10) Facilities and Infrastructure, 11) Teacher HR, 12) Parents' HR, 13) Parent Spirit, and 14) Student Spirit. The efforts to overcome the obstacles are parent counselling and exploring innovations and potential teachers' abilities for technology and information.

Abstract

Spiritualitas dan pembangunan hukum merupakan dua aspek yang saling melengkapi dalam menciptakan masyarakat yang adil dan beradab. Dalam konteks ini, spiritualitas tidak hanya dipahami sebagai dimensi religius, tetapi juga sebagai nilai-nilai moral dan etika yang mendasari perilaku individu dan kolektif. Pembangunan hukum yang efektif memerlukan landasan spiritual yang kuat untuk memastikan bahwa norma-norma hukum tidak hanya diterima secara formal, tetapi juga dihayati dan dijalankan dengan kesadaran moral. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara spiritualitas dan pembangunan hukum, serta bagaimana integrasi keduanya dapat memperkuat sistem hukum dan meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap keadilan. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, studi ini menganalisis berbagai praktik hukum yang mengedepankan nilai-nilai spiritual, serta dampaknya terhadap perilaku masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketika hukum dibangun dengan mempertimbangkan aspek spiritual, maka akan tercipta lingkungan yang lebih harmonis, di mana keadilan tidak hanya dilihat dari sudut pandang legalitas, tetapi juga dari perspektif kemanusiaan dan moralitas. Dengan demikian, integrasi spiritualitas dalam pembangunan hukum menjadi kunci untuk mencapai keadilan yang sejati dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hukum keluarga di tiga negara dengan populasi Muslim sebagai minoritas, yaitu Belanda, Jerman, dan Prancis. Ketiga negara ini memiliki sistem hukum yang sekuler namun menghadapi tantangan dalam mengakomodasi praktik-praktik keluarga umat Islam, seperti pernikahan, perceraian, dan hak asuh anak, yang sering kali berbeda dengan hukum nasional. Dalam konteks multikulturalisme dan integrasi, negara-negara ini mengambil pendekatan yang beragam terhadap isu-isu hukum keluarga Islam. Belanda relatif lebih akomodatif terhadap pluralisme hukum melalui pengakuan terbatas terhadap kontrak pernikahan keagamaan. Sementara itu, Jerman menunjukkan pendekatan yang lebih formalistik dan legalistik, menekankan supremasi hukum nasional, namun tetap membuka ruang kompromi melalui yurisprudensi. Sebaliknya, Prancis mengedepankan prinsip laïcité (sekularisme ketat) yang menjauhkan pengaruh agama dalam urusan publik, termasuk dalam ranah keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi perbandingan hukum, serta analisis normatif terhadap undang-undang dan putusan pengadilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam mengakomodasi hukum keluarga Islam, ketiga negara cenderung bergerak menuju integrasi hukum dengan derajat fleksibilitas yang bervariasi tergantung pada konteks sosial-politik masing-masing.
