Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the phenomenon of hyperreality towards the identity of Indonesian citizens, especially among teenage anime fans in Pontianak. The method used is a case study method with a qualitative approach. Data collection in this study used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the form of hyperreality in the teenage anime community in Pontianak is in the form of cosplay activities, considering anime characters alive and real, the emergence of consumerism attitudes, and forgetting real life. The existence of the anime community in Pontianak also has positive impacts such as increasing piety to God Almighty, the growth of mutual cooperation attitudes, the existence of friendly attitudes, and increasing social awareness. Hyperreality in anime can indeed make someone have a new identity, but this identity cannot become part of the identity of the Indonesian nation because to become part of the Indonesian identity requires a long and complex process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the sense of community belonging that can increase community involvement and develop values of virtue in the community. The research method used is a qualitative approach through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the forms of community involvement include the community being able to contribute, organize, carry out actions or actions, motivate each other, and be responsible for involvement in activities, as well as the values of community virtue that develop as supporters in the implementation of actions. The sense of belonging is based on four indicators in the form of a strong sense of belonging, pleasure, commitment, and having a moral level. There are supporting factors for community involvement, in the form of opportunities, awareness, ability, community interests, and encouragement from the village government, and the inhibiting factors that arise are the lack of opportunities and community awareness. More efforts are needed to motivate and provide understanding to awaken the sense of community belonging.

Abstract

The results of data analysis of the application of the CORE learning model were successfully applied to class IXA by conducting a test at the end of the lesson and giving a questionnaire to find out how to use the CORE learning model which was linked to scientific attitudes and learning outcomes on the material of congruence and similarity for class IX students at SMP PGRI 1 Paloh. Obtaining increased learning outcomes at the end of learning using the CORE learning model can be seen in the average of each learning objective item in class IXA which consists of 33 students, namely the first learning objective, namely getting a percentage of 71.25%, and the second learning objective, namely amounting to 46.42%. Obtaining a better scientific attitude at the end of learning using the CORE learning model with an average of 48.61 while the pretest scientific attitude was 41.24. So scientific attitudes when using the CORE learning model for class IXA experienced an average increase of 7.37.

Abstract

This article seeks to investigate how simulacra are carried out by Malaysia and the efforts of the border community in Jagoi Babang to maintain their identity with a spirit of nationalism towards Indonesia. Using Baudrillard's theory of hyperreality and simulacra, this study explores how the border community filters various simulacra efforts carried out by Malaysia to change the reality of the border community towards Indonesia. This study uses a case study approach involving observation, documentation, and interviews with 15 informants from various backgrounds. The findings show that Malaysia creates simulacra by giving Indonesian communities in the border region free access to Malaysian state facilities. Meanwhile, the border communities make two efforts to maintain their national identity and avoid being influenced by Malaysian simulacra. First, they strengthen nationalism by using the Indonesian language. Second, they defend their culture through cultural activities and training for the younger generation. The research has theoretical and practical implications because the community has the active ability (agency) to reject simulacra, thereby enriching Baudrillard's theory. In practice, strengthening language and culture at the border is a vital form of non-military national resilience that must be integrated into border policy alongside security and economic approaches.

Abstract

Finding out how senior high school students' spatial abilities relate to their self-efficacy and mathematical creativity is the primary goal of this study. The purpose of this research was to identify the factors that affect students' spatial ability, with an emphasis on mathematical creativity and self-efficacy. The researchers in this study employed a correlational research design and quantitative approach. Maranatha Christian High School twelfth graders (n=96) were the subjects of the study, from which 37 were selected at random. A spatial ability test, a math creative thinking exam, and a self-efficacy questionnaire were the instruments used. Two methods that are often used for analyzing data are multiple correlation and Pearson product-moment correlation. First, the study found that there is a strong positive correlation between self-efficacy and spatial ability (Pearson Product-moment correlation = 0.809, > 0.325), and second, there is a strong positive correlation between mathematical creativity and spatial ability (Pearson Product-Moment correlation = 0.647, > 0.325). The multiple correlation coefficient for self-efficacy and mathematical creativity in relation to spatial ability is 0.809. This suggests a strong and favorable link. Future research may further explore variable relationships through qualitative analysis and improved, more specific instruments.

Abstract

Geometry learning does not only require cognitive ability but is also influenced by students’ Math Anxiety. The integration of deep learning based on moral messages as a learning strategy that combines cognitive, affective, and character aspects is still rarely explored and has the potential to become a novelty in minimizing mathematics anxiety. This study involved 32 students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, FKIP Untan, using the Design and Development Research (DDR) method simplified into the stages of needs analysis, design, development, and limited trials. The study aimed to develop and test a deep learning model based on moral messages to minimize students’ Math Anxiety through Paired Sample T-test and SEM-PLS analysis. The results showed that deep learning based on moral messages was effective in minimizing students’ Math Anxiety through strengthening emotional regulation and creating a safe learning environment. After the treatment, students’ anxiety was no longer general in nature, but became milder, situational, and more focused on cognitive aspects, enabling students to better control their emotions and understand geometry concepts. Furthermore, this approach contributed 61.6% to changes in students’ conditions by reducing social anxiety, increasing academic courage, and fostering more positive learning engagement. These findings are important because they indicate that mathematics learning based on deep learning and moral messages can improve conceptual understanding while also enhancing students’ psychological conditions, making learning more humanistic, safe, and supportive of students’ academic confidence in mathematics. Keywords: Deep learning; Math Anxiety; Moral Messages.
