Abstract

This research examines the innovative evaluation of Islamic education planning policies at the Al Kamal Integrated Islamic Boarding School, which focuses on the challenges of integrating Islamic values with the demands of modernity. The main problem is how to manage education policies that are relevant to current developments without losing Islamic identity. The aim of this research is to assess the effectiveness of Islamic education policies, especially in cognitive, affective, psychomotor and spiritual aspects, as well as how this integration is implemented in Islamic boarding schools. The research uses a case study method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. Analysis was carried out by triangulating data from various sources to obtain valid results. Correlation and survey evaluation models are used to understand the impact of policies on student learning outcomes and the relevance of education to current social needs. The research results show that policy evaluation is carried out through various stages, from daily to annual evaluations, to ensure the achievement of educational goals both in terms of academics and character formation. Policies that combine traditional education and modernity, such as strengthening technological skills and foreign languages, have proven capable of preparing students to face global challenges without losing their Islamic identity. The involvement of caregivers, teachers, parents and alumni also plays an important role in the successful implementation of this policy.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers’ synergy in religious research must be integrated with science, technology, and social sciences and involve collaboration with other subject teachers to produce higherquality research products. This study aims to reveal the role of Islamic Education teacher synergy through digital technology research in developing a culture of literacy and science integration in madrasah aliyah. Qualitative research with a post-positivistic approach was conducted in January 2023 at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Insan Cendekia Pekalongan, Central Java. Primary data were obtained through indepth interviews with the deputy head of student affairs and IRE teachers as research program supervisors. In contrast, secondary data came from documentation of the research results of the Madrasah Young Research (MYRES) team that won a silver medal at the national competition. The results showed that the synergy of IRE teachers in guiding student research could strengthen the culture of religious literacy, such as the study of Surah Maryam verse 23 with the tahlili interpretation approach, semantics, and physiology, which became the basis for the research product “al-Istisyfa” as a relaxation tool for pregnant women. This product integrates religion, science, technology, and social sciences, thus demonstrating the successful integration of various fields of science in religion and technology-based research.

Abstract

Business Process Re-engineering is usually carried out to increase satisfaction with goods or services so that customers tend to choose goods or services from certain companies rather than choosing goods or services from competing companies. This cake shop has been around since 2000, but previously in 1999 they had tried to process the cake shop's recipe so that they found a concoction that suited the local people's tongue. However, this business did not last long because the shop they owned had experienced a fire incident which caused the cake shop business to be evicted and eventually moved to another place so that they also received business threats, namely the emergence of many competitors selling similar products. The purpose of our research is that we will conduct a re-engineering analysis to optimize the business processes in the cake shop. The research method used in our research is descriptive. The descriptive research method is carried out by seeking information related to existing symptoms, clearly explaining what goals will be achieved in the research conducted. In this new model, we add a promotion method, namely by using advertising services on social media so that it can reach people who are still not familiar with the product. In the new model, we also added a process, namely a research process to add innovation to new product cake variants that will give a new impression to the shop's customers.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the effect of distinctive capabilities and adaptive capabilities to business model adaptation and performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia.Method: The proposed hypotheses and the relationships between distinctive capabilities, adaptive capability, business model adaptation, and MSME performance were examined using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and regression analysis.Findings: The results show that both unique capabilities and adaptive capabilities play a crucial role in the adaptation of business models and the performance of MSMEs. The results prove that adaptive capability acts as a mediator between distinctive capabilities and business model adaptation, as well as between distinctive capabilities and MSME performance. Moreover, the relationship between distinctive capabilities on business model adaptation and MSME performance was moderated by adaptive capacity, indicating that firms with higher adaptive capacity are better placed to utilize their distinctive capabilities to achieve superior performance.Novelty: This paper adds to the dynamic capabilities literature by providing empirical insight into the relationships between distinctive capabilities, adaptive capability, business model adaptation and performance within MSMEs. This research sheds light on MSME success through a new lens of adaptive capacity as a mediator and moderator, providing an avenue for new ground in SME strategic management research particularly in emerging markets.Implications: The research indicates that MSMEs should strengthen their unique capabilities; also, the capabilities for market adaptability will be essential in this context for MSMEs to thrive and recover. Policymakers and practitioners must cultivate innovation, flexibility, and capability-building environments. Further exploration of the long-term impacts of these capabilities and extending the study to different geographical contexts or industries would provide a more in-depth understanding of their implications for business performance.

Abstract

Waste is a problem whose existence needs to be minimized, because waste can affect the productivity of a business. This research was conducted at UMKM Swadi Cipta Karya which operates in the convection sector with the main product being fishing bags. The main objective of this research is to minimize waste that occurs in the fishing bag production process. This research uses a lean manufacturing approach with several analysis stages in it, such as value stream mapping (VSM), waste failure mode effect analysis (WFMEA), value stream analysis tools (VALSAT), fishbone diagram, and kaizen. Data in the research were obtained through direct observation by identifying and measuring the time of activities carried out in the fishing bag production process. The results of the analysis using WFMEA conclude that there are main types of waste in the production process, namely transportation, unnecessary motion, and waiting. Analysis of tool selection using VALSAT concluded that PAM was selected to be used to eliminate waste, activities that had to be minimized were more dominant than activities that had to be eliminated (eliminated). These results also provide a layout design that can be implemented by MSMEs. Analysis using Kaizen concludes that the results of 5S are designing the layout well, arranging materials, conducting training, preparing materials, and placing sewing results in baskets to minimize or eliminate waste.
Analysis of Interfaith Marriage Arrangements in Islamic Family Law: Multiculturalism and Social Harmony Perspectives Anam, Khoirul

Abstract

This research aims to understand the analysis of Interfaith Marriage Arrangements in Islamic Family Law: Multiculturalism and Social Harmony Perspectives.Normative research is legal research that places law as a system of norms. The norm system itself is related to the principles, norms, rules of the legislation itself. The approach of examining statutory regulations aims to find out how consistent and appropriate the laws are with the legal problem or case being studied. Data collection techniques are a way of recording events or information, characteristics and all forms of information that describe the object of research. The results of research on interfaith marriages according to Islamic law as contained in the Word of Allah, Surah al-Baqarah verse 221, have confirmed that interfaith marriages are absolutely forbidden, apart from that, if you continue to carry out an interfaith marriage, many disputes will arise in the household because both partners have different opinions and beliefs. Interfaith marriage in Indonesia is a reality that continues to occur even though state law and religious law expressly prohibit it. In fact, if you look closely, Law no. 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights in Indonesia does not explicitly regulate interfaith marriages. On the issue of more detailed marriage regulations, including the issue of interfaith marriages, Human Rights still returns it to the applicable laws and regulations, which in this case the Marriage Law in Indonesia is Law no. 1 in 1974.
