Abstract

This research aimed to develop a cultural encyclopedia book based on the local wisdom of Banten on social scence subject at the 4 th grade elementary school. This research was conducted at grade IV SD Negeri Rawu. This research used research and development methods (RnD). The product of this research was a cultural encyclopedia book containing materials about historical heritage in the local environment for social science subject at grade 4. The feasibility of this product was validated by some experts including media experts, material expert, linguists, and education experts. This research subjects were 20 grade IV students at SD Negeri Rawu. The results showed that the average validation score of the encyclopedia was 90.57%, so that it was categorized as“very feasible”. Then, the result of product trials (limited trials) obtained that the average value of the product was 99.05% with a “very good” criteria, so it can be concluded that the cultural encyclopedia book based on the local wisdom of Banten was feasible to be used as learning materials for social science subject at grade IV elementary school.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the program of religious habituation activities carried out at SDN Serang 11 online, how teachers carry out religious habituation activities for the moral formation of students during the Covid-19 pandemic through online learning, and the results of the program of religious habituation on the formation of moral participants. students. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the process of forming moral values in students through online religious habituation activities has not been implemented optimally by teachers. So it can be concluded that the implementation of religious activities towards the formation of moral values of students that are carried out online at SDN Serang 11 is in the unfavorable category in the implementation process.

Abstract

This study was to describe the teacher's role in instilling disciplined character in grade IV students at SDN Ciomas 1 Kabupaten Serang. The method in this research was the descriptive qualitative method, a series of activities to obtain data as they were without being under certain conditions, the results of which emphasized meaning. The population or the social situation consisted of three elements, namely places, actors, and activities that interacted in synergy. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicated that the teacher's role at SDN Ciomas 1 Kabupaten Serang in instilling the students' discipline at grade IV was good. Students who committed disciplinary violations were relatively small since the teacher gave punishments to those students. The factors that caused undisciplined participants came from the students themselves, their peers both in the school environment and those outside the school, and influences from parents and teachers as a result of the lack of classroom mastery and good teaching methods. Thus, it was concluded that the teacher's role was very important in instilling the students' discipline, for example, by providing a good example to his students. When students violated the rules or were not disciplined, the teacher gave educative punishments.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to assess the viability of using audio-visual learning media to promote students’ learning, particularly in thematic learning, as well as students’ responses to the media generated by researchers. The research approach was Research and Development (R&D) following the 4D (Four-D) development model of define, design, develop, and disseminate. Based on the opinions of teachers, media professionals, and material experts, the results demonstrated the viability of audio-visual media. Each teacher had an average score of 87.5%, while media specialists received an average score of 92.3% and material experts received an average score of 79.2%. Following that, the students' reactions to the media employed in the learning process were 96.9%. Based on the findings of these investigations, it was concluded that this research created audio-visual media products in the form of learning films in thematic learning for grade V Elementary School using Google Drive. The teacher and media expert validation results fell into the "Very Eligible" group, while material experts fell into the "Eligible" category. The "Very Good" category included evaluations of students’ responses. As a result, the product was stated to be suitable for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the influence of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) on students’ discipline in learning civic education at grade IV. The method of this research was a Quasi Experiment conducted in two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Class IV A, as the experimental class, consisted of 30 students, and Class IV B, as the control class, also consisted of 30 students. Based on the research conducted, it was revealed that there was a significant influence of the implementation of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) on students’ discipline in the civic subject. The results of the discipline questionnaire for the VCT model obtained a score of 84.63, whereas the results of the discipline questionnaire for the lecture method were 65.23. Moreover, based on the results of the t-test in which 0.000 < 0.05, it was concluded that there was an effect of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) method on students’ discipline and that the use of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) method was better than the lecture method.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the ethical Sufism practiced at Dayah Tuhfatul Baidha Al-Aziziyah. The research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, aiming to explore the experiences and understanding of the students regarding the practice of ethical Sufism. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. Based on the research findings, it is known that Dayah Tuhfatul Baidha Al-Aziziyah actively implements the practice of ethical Sufism as an integral part of education and the daily life of the students. The results of this study indicate that the ethical Sufism practiced at Dayah Tuhfatul Baidha Al-Aziziyah plays a key role in shaping better individuals. Within this Dayah environment, the practice of ethical Sufism is not only a series of relations between Allah and His servants, but also a path to cultivate various virtues and morality. Finally, the results of this study are expected to provide insights that A deeper understanding of the practice of ethical Sufism at Dayah Tuhfatul Baidha Al-Aziziyah (Mahfad Atjeh) as well as the procedures for practicing ethical Sufism, which are carried out daily by the students through various obligatory acts of worship, solely with the aim of seeking the pleasure of Allah. Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of implementing Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in strengthening the internalization of moral values in Akidah Akhlak instruction at a Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with one teacher and three students from different grade levels, and document analysis. Data validity was ensured through triangulation to enhance the consistency and credibility of the findings. The results indicate that CTL is effective in linking moral content to students’ everyday experiences, thereby enhancing moral understanding through case studies, modelling, and value-based dialogue. However, the reinforcement of values achieved remains largely at the level of basic behavioral expression and has not yet fully developed into stable moral internalization. This limitation is influenced by the lack of structured opportunities for moral reflection, the impact of the broader social environment, and the absence of digital moral literacy integration in the learning process. This study affirms that while CTL makes a significant contribution to moral education, the expansion of pedagogical strategies and the integration of contemporary moral issues are necessary to further advance the internalization of values toward the formation of a mature and sustainable Islamic character.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the digital identity of Salafiyah santri (Islamic boarding school students) amidst the pervasive use of social media such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Initially regarded as a space for entertainment and information, social media has now become an arena for self-expression and Islamic proselytization (dakwah) for some santri. However, these digital activities often come into tension with the core values of the pesantren (Islamic boarding school), particularly zuhud (asceticism or simplicity) and tawadhu' (humility), which reject excessiveness and self-promotion. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing Giddens' theory of reflexive identity and Goffman's dramaturgical theory to understand how santri form and negotiate their self-image in the digital realm. Preliminary findings indicate that the santri experience moral ambivalence: on one hand, they strive to spread Islamic values through digital dakwah content, yet on the other hand, they grapple with the pressure to appear popular and appealing in the eyes of the online public. The study is expected to contribute to the development of a digital ethic for santri as part of the broader transformation of pesantren culture in the digital era

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Arab siswa kelas IV MIT Muhammadiyah Sukarame melalui implementasi media pembelajaran interaktif Educaplay. Masalah penelitian berangkat dari rendahnya hasil belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan oleh banyaknya siswa yang belum mencapai KKM serta kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 27 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen utama berupa tes objektif untuk mengukur pencapaian hasil belajar setelah penerapan media Educaplay. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar pada setiap siklus. Nilai rata-rata awal siswa adalah 69,25 dengan ketuntasan 40,74%. Setelah tindakan pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 79,07 dengan ketuntasan 66,66%. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 86,29 dan ketuntasan mencapai 92,59%, melampaui indikator keberhasilan 80%. Selain peningkatan nilai, aktivitas dan keterlibatan siswa selama pembelajaran juga meningkat seiring dengan penggunaan permainan interaktif yang disediakan dalam Educaplay. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa media interaktif Educaplay efektif digunakan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Arab siswa, sekaligus mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih aktif dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah bagaimana Forum Konsultasi Publik (FKP)yang diselenggarakan BGTK Banten dijalankan sebagai ruang dialog untuk memperkuattransparansi, akuntabilitas, dan mutu pelayanan publik di bidang pendidikan. Penelitianmenggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggabungkan observasi, wawancaramendalam, dan penelusuran dokumen. Informan terdiri dari pegawai BGTK, perwakilanBPMP Banten, serta peserta forum seperti guru dan tenaga kependidikan. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa FKP mampu menjadi sarana evaluasi layanan melalui komunikasi duaarah antara penyedia layanan dan penerima manfaat. Berbagai masukan yang muncul dalamforum berkontribusi pada penyempurnaan standar pelayanan, penyederhanaan prosedur, danpenguatan sistem informasi. Namun demikian, pelaksanaan FKP masih terkendala olehminimnya publikasi, rendahnya frekuensi kegiatan, dan partisipasi peserta yang belum merata.Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa FKP memiliki peran penting dalammendorong keterbukaan informasi serta memperluas keterlibatan masyarakat. Pengembanganforum ke depan perlu diarahkan pada peningkatan strategi komunikasi publik, pemanfaatanmedia digital secara optimal, serta pelibatan lebih banyak pemangku kepentingan.
