Abstract

Isu pengembangan program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab telah mendapatkan perhatian oleh para ketua/ koordinator program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab se-Indonesia. Beberapa agenda pun dicanangkan dalam rangka menyatukan langkah menuju perbaikan program secaran nasional. Salah satunya adalah kegiatan Rakernas dan Semiloka PPPBA Indonesia yang berlangsung di Malang pada tanggal 24-26 Agustus 2022. pada kegiatan tersebut dibahas tentang Best practice kurikulum PBA berbasis MBKM, Bedah instrumen akreditasi prodi dan Akreditasi internasional (Aqas). Di sisi lain, para ketua prodi PBA se-Indonesia saling bertukar program pengembangan yang dibuktikan dengan penandatangan MoU masing-masing Pengelola program studi. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa program studi PBA dari perguruan tinggi Islam se-Indonesia, terus bergerak dan bersinergi dalam rangka mengembangkan program sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman. Program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab IAIN Ternate sebelumnya juga terus berbenah dengan berusaha menciptakan bi’ah lughawiyah melalui kegiatan daurah arabiyah, rihlah ilmiah dan program stimulasi metode pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan library research sebagai bentuk kajiannya. pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif Seluruh data dan informasi yag diperoleh baik dari penelusuran literature terkait maupun hasil wawancara dan observasi, diolah dengan menggunakana analisi deskristif kualitatif melalui kerangka acuan deduktif. Kerangka acuan deduktif yang dimaksud adalah dengan menjabarkan informasi sekompleks mungkin kemudian diambil sebuah kesimpulan akhir yang mencakup keseluruhan data dan informasi terkait analisa pengembangan program studi pendidikan bahasa Arab di IAIN Ternate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bukti adanya upaya yang dilakukan oleh pengelola dalam mengembangkan program studi pendidikan bahasa Arab di IAIN Ternate. Program tersebut jika secara kontinu dilakukan, maka tentu akan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan menyenangkan bagi para mahasiswa PBA IAIN Ternate. Dengan terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, maka bukan tidak mungkin PBA IAIN Ternate sebagai satu-satunya penyelanggara Pendidikan Bahasa Arab di Provinsi Maluku Utara, akan menjadi salah program studi yang diminati di masa yang akan datang

Abstract

Active smoking addiction is a persistent global health problem with serious impacts on society. Cigarettes cause more than 8 million deaths each year, and around 7 million of them are victims of exposure to passive cigarette smoke. The importance of overcoming active smoking addiction encourages research and development of various prevention strategies. One approach that has attracted attention is the application of Protection Motivation Theory (PMT). This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This research includes library research, with the aim of collecting data and information from various sources available in the library. These sources include books, magazines, documents, historical records, and others. Data collected from library research can be used as the basis and main source for field research. Library research is a type of research that examines secondary data. PMT as an effective formula in overcoming active smoker addiction, continuous evaluation and further research is needed. This will provide in-depth insight into the extent to which this theory can be applied in various contexts and help adapt prevention strategies to meet the unique needs of individuals as well as diverse societies. A deeper understanding of the effectiveness of PMT will provide a valuable contribution. The application of Protection Motivation Theory as a formula to overcome active smoking addiction shows significant potential in increasing awareness, changing attitudes, and stimulating intentions to quit smoking. However, it is important to continually adapt this approach to individual characteristics and changing social dynamics. Continuous evaluation and further research are needed to ensure its sustainability and effectiveness in addressing the challenges of active smoker addiction.

Abstract

Islamic education plays a vital role in shaping the character and morality of Indonesia's youth. In the context of an increasingly complex society, Islamic education is expected to serve as a strong moral and ethical foundation for students. However, there are still gaps in the understanding and implementation of Islamic education across various educational institutions. This research aims to explore the role of Islamic education in educating character-driven generations and to identify effective teaching methods in Islamic education. This study employs a qualitative approach, with subjects comprising students, teachers, and parents from several schools in Aceh. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and direct classroom observations. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis. The findings suggest that Islamic education has a significant impact on shaping students' character, enhancing their social awareness, and strengthening their religious identity. Interactive and contextual teaching methods have proven to be more effective in enhancing students' understanding of Islamic values. Islamic education has excellent potential in educating the youth and forming ethical character. Parental involvement and the relevance of Islamic education to local contexts are also essential factors in the success of this education. This research offers new insights into the role of Islamic education within Indonesia's educational system and is expected to encourage the development of more effective and relevant curricula.Keywords: Islamic Education; Character; Morality; Teaching Methods; Social Awareness

Abstract

In recent years, local governments have increasingly sought digital solutions to improve the accessibility and efficiency of public services. However, many sub-district offices in Indonesia still rely heavily on manual service processes, which limit access to administrative information outside of office hours. This study aims to design and implement a web-based chatbot system to address information service challenges at the sub-district level. Using a descriptive-engineering approach, the system was developed following the waterfall model and evaluated through simulated user interactions. The chatbot was tested with 20 frequently asked questions related to key administrative services, including ID card (KTP), family card (KK), and domicile letters. The results show that the chatbot successfully answered 16 out of 20 questions (80%) with an average response time of 1.7 seconds. Most failures occurred due to variations in question phrasing not recognized by the system. This research demonstrates that chatbots can enhance basic information delivery in low-resource government settings. The findings contribute to the growing body of knowledge on digital public service transformation and provide a replicable model for implementing low-cost, scalable chatbot solutions in other local administrative contexts.

Abstract

This article aims to examine international language standards that may be used as references for teaching Arabic in institutions other than madrasas. The author chose Rusydi Ahmad Thu'aimah, ACTFL and CEFR as materials for standardizing foreign language teaching because there is no doubt about the quality and fame of the three standards. It's just that there must be common ground and differences between each of the three standards. The standardization of Arabic teaching in madrasas has been determined by the publication of KMA number 183 of 2019. This guide contains how to implement the Arabic Arabic curriculum in madrasah. However, the next question is what about the guidelines or standardization of Arabic teaching in public schools, Islamic boarding schools, and course institutions in Indonesia Thus, this research is theoretical in nature more towards conceptual. And to get the conceptual answer, the researcher uses a qualitative approach with qualitative content analysis methods and is a documentary study with the primary sources being the works of Rusydi Ahmad Thu'aimah, the ACTFL guidelines and the CEFR guidelines. The results of this study indicate that there is no tafāul teaching (interaction) in the ACTFL and CEFR guidelines and this is the uniqueness of Rusydi Ahmad Thu'aimah's standard. While the uniqueness of ACTFL compared to others is the division of novice, intermediate, and advance standards into three parts. While CEFR has a distinctive importance for teaching texts that are more communicative and contextual, such as teaching text in the form of letters and the importance of an image in the text. The implication of this finding is that the standardization of foreign language teaching needs to be integrated into one use for teaching Arabic language outside madrasah.

Abstract

This research aimed to find the pattern of three parameters of the post method in Alqurán. This study adopted qualitative research with a literature review model. The object of this research was a pattern obtained from three post method parameters with al-kalimah al-miftahiyyah in Alqurán. The data collection rested upon Qur’anic verses and their interpretations To conduct data analysis, the researchers used content analysis by Klaus Krippendorff. This study revealed the patterns of three parameters of postmethod pedagogy in the Qur’an, such as; particularity from the word “hikmah” wisdom which is with the mind and has an understanding as deep research; the parameter of practicality from the words ulul albab as the symbol of deep thinking, ulul abhsar as the symbol of deep feeling, and ulin nuha as the symbol of deep character; and parameter possibility from the word as-shabr as a power in the deep application.

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) explain the process of preparing the Simplified Grammar Book by Shauqi Dhoif in light of the constructivist theory is for beginners, and 2) determine the effectiveness of the developed Simplified Grammar Book. The development of Nahwu teaching materials was initiated due to several backgrounds, including: The unavailability of Nahwu teaching materials in Islamic boarding schools focusing on practical aspects, lack of supporting teaching materials for students to understand Nahwu, and the emphasis on the importance of improving Arabic text reading skills among students. These issues were addressed through this research. The researchers in this study used Research and Development (R&D) methodology, following nine steps out of the ten proposed by Borg and Gall. These entailed needs analysis, data collection, product design, product validation, improvement of the first product, individual product testing, improvement of the second product, field testing of the product, and improvement of the final product. The results of this research are as follows: 1) The developed educational materials consisted of 25 units to be implemented in 8 sessions. The educational materials included various exercises in grammar enhancing the understanding of grammar and analyzing Arabic linguistic texts. 2) The effectiveness of using the educational materials became evidence through the analysis of expert questionnaire data, which received a score of 86.5, classified as "good." The student questionnaire results also scored 86.6, categorized as "good." While the pre-test score was 57.0000, after using the developed teaching materials, the students scored 75.6800. This indicated a significant increase and the book was very effective for improving students' grammar knowledge and skills. The theoretical contribution of this research is that grammar teaching materials based on constructivist theory using the Shauqi approach can contribute to enhancing students' ability to understand and analyze Arabic texts.

Abstract

The phenomenon of quarter-life crisis is part of the growth process of almost all individuals in the adolescent development phase towards early adulthood. Therefore, this study aims to determine the influence of self-control and tawakal on individuals who experience quarter-life crisis. This study consists of three variables: self-control, tawakal, and a quarter-life crisis. The quarter-life crisis was the dependent variable, and self-control and tawakal as the independent variable. This study uses quantitative research methods with a correlational research approach. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. There are 103 students as a population and 50 samples of students of Pesantren Al-Hikmah Al Fathimiyyah Malang from the calculations using the Slovin formula. The analysis technique used in this research is a descriptive analysis using the R Studio application. The results of this study show that control and tawakal play a role in individuals dealing with quarter-life crises. The effect of self-control and tawakal on the quarter-life crisis is 71.4%, while the remaining 28.6% is outside of the variables studied, namely self-control and tawakal.KEY WORDS: self-control; tawakal; quarter-life crisis; studentsABSTRAKFenomena quarter-life crisis menjadi bagian proses pertumbuhan hampir seluruh individu di fase perkembangan remaja menuju dewasa awal. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan bentuk pengaruh self control dan tawakal pada individu yang mengalami quarter-life crisis. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga variabel yaitu kontrol diri, tawakal, dan quarter-life crisis. Quarter-life crisis sebagai variabel dependen, kontrol diri, dan tawakal sebagai variabel independen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian korelasional, teknik pengambilan sampel memakai purposive sampling, terdapat 103 jumlah santri sebagai populasi dan 50 sampel santri Pesantren Al Hikmah Al Fathimiyyah Malang dari hasil perhitungan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan aplikasi R Studio. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu self control dan tawakal berperan bagi individu untuk menghadapi masa quarter-life crisis. Pengaruh self control dan tawakal terhadap quarter-life crisis sebesar 71,4% sedangan sisanya sebesar 28,6% di luar dari variabel yang diteliti yaitu self control dan tawakal.KATA KUNCIkontrol diri; tawakal; quarter-life crisis; santri  Copyright ©2023. Abstract

Literasi digital telah menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam masyarakat modern yang semakin bergantung pada teknologi digital. Di tengah perubahan komunikasi dan aksesibilitas teknologi, Desa Pleret di Kecamatan Pohjentrek mengambil inisiatif untuk meningkatkan literasi digital masyarakat melalui pendampingan yang difokuskan pada pengelolaan website dan media sosial desa. Tujuan dari Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dampak dari pendampingan literasi digital melalui pengelolaan website dan media sosial desa terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan digital masyarakat. Metode Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dengan metode PAR (Participatory Action Research). Hasil dari Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan literasi digital di Desa Pleret memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam penggunaan teknologi digital. Ini dapat memfasilitasi komunikasi yang lebih baik, akses informasi yang lebih luas, dan partisipasi aktif dalam perkembangan digital. Namun, keberhasilan pendampingan ini memerlukan kerja sama yang erat antara pemerintah desa, lembaga pendidikan, dan komunitas lokal untuk menyediakan pelatihan dan dukungan yang diperlukan untuk mewujudkan Desa Digital. Untuk pengembangan selanjutnya yaitu Pengembangan dan integrasi Digitalisasi Desa dengan Digitalisasi BUMDES serta Pokdarwis di sektor Pariwisata.

Abstract

Dalam skema penelitian ini masalah inti adalah apakah Merchandising dan Promotion berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Impulse Buying pada konsumen TOKO BASMALAH Sidogiri. Tujuannya  adalah mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh Merchandising dan Promotion berpengaruh terhadap Impulse Buying pada konsumen TOKO BASMALAH Sidogiri. Untuk mengetahui hasil pada tujuan diatas maka menggunakan, metode analisis regresi linear berganda dan analisis korelasi linear berganda, dimana Variabel Merchandising (X1) berpengaruh secara parsial signifikan terhadap Impulse Buying dengan nilai koefisien beta sebesar 0.938. Dengan nilai thitung 27.942 > ttabel 1.98423 dan nilai p = 0.000. Hasil olahan data, pada analisis tersebut terbukti secara parsial tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel promosi (X2)  terhadap impulse buying dengan nilai koefisien beta sebesar 0.065.  dengan nilai thitung 1.946 > ttabel 1.98423 dan nilai p = 0.055. Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis terbukti bahwa secara simultan variabel yang meliputi merchandising (X1) dan promotion (X2) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel impulse buying (Y). Besaran untuk kontribusi variabel merchandising (X1) dan promotion (X2)  adalah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel impulse buying (Y) ditunjukkan dengan koefisien determinansi (Adjusted R Square) sebesar 0.889. Sehingga dapat kami simpulkan bahwa merchandising dan promotion masih efektif dijadikan sumber keberhasilan yang berorientasi untuk menciptakan impulse buying.
