Abstract

Multicultural education developed during this period is not prioritized based on community traditions. This research aims to explain that the Islamic tradition of Mawlid Ad-Diba' art or Islamic teachings, Islamic traditions in the archipelago can be used as a basis for multicultural education and the values of multicultural education contained in the art of Mawlid ad-Diba'. This research method is library research with a phenomenological approach and using documentation techniques. The research results show 1) an Islamic tradition; 2) Islam in the archipelago is a form of Islamic moderation, 3) multicultural education based on Islamic traditions, 4) the values of multicultural education: spiritual, social, moral, and unity. The research concludes that the art of Maulid ad-Diba' is not an Islamic teaching in the archipelago but is an Islamic tradition and can be used as a basis for multicultural education that has the values of faith and piety, gratitude, humility, honesty, friendliness, fair, patient.

Abstract

The enforcement of Islamic law in Indonesia society is frequently still questionable in practice. The reason is utilization of customary law is still often in indonesia's society, especially in the case relating to inheritance law. The Moslem Samin community of Jepang Hamlet Margomulyo Bojonegoro is one of the community entities that still upholds its customary teachings, including in determining the distribution of inheritance to adopted children. This study aims to describe: (1) the law used in the distribution of the inheritance of adopted children by the Samin's Moslem community in Jepang Hamlet, and (2) Social construction of the Samin community in distributing inheritance to adopted children. This research is a type of field research, which uses primary data in the form of observation and interview results, by choosing a research location in Jepang Hamlet, Margomulyo Bojonegoro. The respondents are the Samin's Moslem community, community leaders and traditional leaders. The approach used in this research is an anthropological historical sociological approach, to fully capture the application of the law of the Samin muslim community, especially in relation to the inheritance rights of adopted children. The findings obtained in this study are; first, in determining the heirs, the Samin Muslim community establishes adopted children as the legal heirs of the deceased parents. Second, the Samin Muslim community prefers to use customary law rather than Islamic law. this is due to five factors, namely the concept of justice, the concept of equality, the complexity of Islamic law, the absence of religious leaders and the absence of religious institutions. Third, the community and Samin leaders of Jepang Hamlet Margomulyo Bojonegoro agree that adopted children have the right to the property of their adoptive parents

Abstract

Dalam penulisan artikel ini, penulis bermaksud membahas bagaimana pembagian waris menjadi hal penting untuk dipahami dengan benar untuk menghindari pembelaan waris dalam keluarga. Hukum waris telah diatur secara rinci di dalam al-Qur'an dan hadits, dimana waris diedarkan ketika pewaris telah meninggal dunia dan meninggalkan harta warisan. Meskipun demikian, pada masyarakat pada umumnya membagikan warisannya ketika masih hidup untuk dimanfaatkan oleh ahli waris, hal tersebut menurut hukum Islam tidak bisa disebut waris tetapi disebut dengan hubah karena hal tersebut tidak memenuhi rukun waris. Artikel ini menggunakan fungsionalisme dimana teori ini adalah suatu teori sosial yang menganggap masyarakat sebagai suatu sistem kompleks yang berfungsi dengan cara tertentu untuk memenuhi keinginan keluarga. Khususnya melalui perspektif Émile Durkheim dan analogi organik dimana masyarakat terbentuk dari struktur aturan budaya yaitu keyakinan dan praktik yang sudah mapan. Dalam analisis fungsionalisme, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa, Pembagian waris seperti yang dijelaskan di atas, yaitu harta warisan yang dibagikan lebih awal dengan tujuan menghindari pertikaian pada masa mendatang karena Pembagian harta warisan sudah dibagikan melalui kesepakatan bersama dan melihat dari keberfungsiannya harta tersebut kepada masing-masing ahli waris.

Abstract

AbstrakTumbuhan umbi bawang rambut (Allium chinense G.Don) memiliki efek sebagai antijamur karena mengandung metabolit sekunder seperti flavanoid, alkaloid dan saponin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui aktivitas antijamur ekstrak umbi bawang rambut melalui proses fraksinasi menggunakan pelarut N-heksan, etil asetat, kloroform dan etanol-air. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimental. Sampel yang digunakan adalah umbi bawang rambut yang diperoleh di kampung Kelasan kecamatann Sungai Payang Kutai Kartanegara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode maserasi dengan pelarut etanol 70%, metode uji aktivitas antijamur berdasarkan metode difusi cakram terhadap jamur Candida albicans dengan konsentrasi 5%, 10%, 25%, dan 50%, dengan kontrol negatif DMSO 50%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua fraksi dari ekstrak etanol umbi bawang rambut memiliki aktivitas antijamur. Aktivitas antijamur fraksi etil asetat memberikan daya hambat yang paling besar terhadap Candida albicans diantara fraksi lainnya. Kata kunci:  candida albicans; Allium chinense G. Don; antijamur; fraksi AbstractAllium chinense has an antifungal effect because it contains secondary metabolites such as flavonoids, alkaloids and saponins. The purpose of this research is to investigate the antifungal activity of Allium chinense extract through fractionation process using N-hexane solvent, ethyl acetate, chloroform and ethanol-water. The research is experimental research. Samples used are the Allium chinense found in  Kelasan Sungai Payang  Kutai Kartanegara. Using maseration method with 70% ethanol solvent, antifungal activity test method based on disc diffusion method on Candida albicans fungi with concentration of 5%, 10%, 25%, and 50%, with negative control of DMSO 50%. The results showed that all fractions of Allium chinense ethanol extract had antifungal activity. The antifungal activity of the ethyl acetate fraction provides the greatest resistance to Candida albicans among other fractions. Keywords:  candida albicans, allium chinense G. Abstract

One notable goal of the 21st-century pedagogy is the encouragement for the students to be the agent of change in their own learning process realized by the implementation of student-centered learning approach (SCL). However, previous literature noted the discrepancy between what they believe in and what they perform in the classroom. Thus, this descriptive qualitative study aims to extend the study from the perspectives of Indonesian Islamic secondary-school EFL teachers, specifically investigating their perceptions on SCL, preferences of using SCL strategies, and challenges in implementing it. Of nine teachers, four teachers were willing to participate purposively based on their background. Data were collected by using a questionnaire and a follow-up interview. After filling in the questionnaire, four teachers were selected to participate in the follow-up interview. Three major findings were obtained. They have been aware of the importance of SCL, although most of their students were still passive. As a result, they preferred to combine the lecture and the student-centered activities like role-play, simulation, cooperative learning, and problem-based learning. However, they did not regularize the facilitation of individual or group presentation. With respect to the challenges, the interview data disclosed that the teachers encountered the limited allocated time to maximize SCL implementation, students’ passivity and self-confidence deterioration leading to limited responses and meaningful communication, and lack of training in implementing SCL-based assessment. This study provides an insight into the reality of SCL implementation in EFL classroom settings from Islamic secondary-school teachers. Recommendations for further studies are also discussed.

Abstract

Great Mosque Imam Ulomo Sampung Ponorogo is a waqf mosque located in the countryside. Making the mosque as a partner devotion is ikhtiyar Masjid realize that far from urban areas and are in the corners to not only as a religious social center but also pursued into the mosque advanced and progressive socio-economic and even become an example for others in the interior of the mosque. Based on the above discussion, this article examines Waqf Masjid and Social Transformation of People in the Great Mosque of Imam Ulomo Sampung Ponorogo. The aim of this devotion as an Islamic community development efforts related to change management model endowments, from traditional to professional. Based on the study, it can be concluded: First, performing well through socialization and training paradigm of governance productive endowments. Second, institutional strengthening training nadzir endowments. This activity is very beneficial to the development and improvement of governance endowments productive in society, in particular institutional waqf mosque.

Abstract

This study provides an in-depth exploration of the Hajj-related traditions that have developed within the community of Sekarbela, Mataram, as a reflection of the synergy between spiritual and social dimensions of communal life. In the Sekarbela community, a variety of meaningful pre-departure traditions are preserved and practiced, including ziarah kubur (visiting ancestral graves) as an act of reverence, selakaran (communal prayer gatherings) for blessings and collective supplication, and nyimpen (entrusting valuable items or messages to pilgrims) as part of the spiritual and social preparation for the pilgrimage. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study captures both the forms of these traditions and their social and economic impacts. The findings reveal that these practices not only reinforce social ties and maintain interpersonal connections, but also cultivate a strong sense of solidarity, communal belonging, and ukhuwah islamiyah (Islamic brotherhood). The Hajj thus becomes a sacred and emotionally resonant occasion that deepens familial and communal bonds. However, the study also identifies challenges, particularly social pressures faced by prospective pilgrims from economically disadvantaged backgrounds due to prevailing expectations to observe these traditions in full. Nonetheless, the traditions remain flexible and adaptive, allowing individuals to participate according to their means without undue economic burden. Overall, the Hajj traditions in Sekarbela represent a living heritage that harmoniously integrates religious devotion, social unity, and local cultural wisdom

Abstract

Audio-visual learning media are channels of message delivery that utilize the senses of hearing and sight. In the subject of Akidah Akhlak, they serve as a bridge to enhance student learning outcomes. Learning outcomes are the results achieved in the form of numbers or scores obtained after being given a learning outcome test at the end of each lesson. The use of audio-visual learning media in the subject of Akidah Akhlak can be a bridge to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to determine 1) the percentage level of the use of audio-visual learning media, 2) the percentage of student learning outcomes in the subject of Akidah, 3) the extent of the influence of using audio-visual learning media on student learning outcomes. This research uses a quantitative approach with a total of 36 respondents, and data collection tools in the form of observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that: 1) The use of audio-visual learning media in the subject of Akidah Akhlak obtained a percentage score of 38% in the sufficient category; 2) Student learning outcomes in the subject of Akidah Akhlak obtained a percentage score of 44.4% in the sufficient category; 3) The influence of using audio-visual learning media on student learning outcomes in the subject of Akidah Akhlak had a very significant effect with a percentage score of 94%.

Abstract

This article critically examines the meaning, values, symbols, and relationships between actors in the “Sedekah Laut” tradition as a manifestation of culturally and spiritually based environmental education. “Sedekah Laut” serves as a mitigation tool amidst the climate crisis. Through ecofeminist theory, this study integrates women, nature, and spirituality. This research positioned “Sedekah Laut” not only as a pillar of religious moderation in the cultural aspect but also as a space for ecological education that embraces gender equity. The location of this qualitative research was Wonokerto District, Pekalongan Regency. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The research results indicate that “Sedekah Laut” possesses ecological philosophy, meaning, and symbolism. It serves as an inclusive and adaptive instrument for addressing the climate crisis. “Sedekah Laut” serves as a space for environmental education, emphasizing women as key actors, both in the domestic and ritual spheres. This study offers a novelty in the form of a reconstruction of environmental education based on local traditions and spirituality that favors women and nature. The theoretical implications of this study expand the scope of environmental education to include spiritual-ecological aspects, while in practice, “Sedekah Laut” can serve as a model for ecological education that is inclusive, contextual, emancipatory, sustainable, and focused on climate justice.

Abstract

Background: Manajemen pengelolaan keuangan merupakan dasar yang harus diterapkan dalam setiap organisasi, termasuk dalam pengelolaan keuangan pada satuan pendidikan dan Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM). Namun, pengelolaan organisasi terutama pengelolaan keuangan secara syariah belum secara maksimal diterapkan di Desa Pasirlangu. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah agar warga masyarakat Desa Pasirlangu, Cisarua Kabupaten Bandung mampu mengelola keuangan sekolah dan UMKM secara profesional dengan berlandaskan prinsip-prinsip yang syariah. Metode: Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari: 1) perencanaan, kegiatan perencanaan dilakukan dengan melakukan koordinasi dengan kepala desa Pasirlangu dan pengelola UMKM di lingkungan Desa Pasirlangu. 2) Pelaksanaan, kegaiatan dilaksanakan di Desa Pasirlangu pada bulan Februari 2020 dengan melibatkan semua stakholder masyarakat. 3) Evaluasi dilakukan agar kegiatan dapat terlaksana dengan baik sehingga kegiatan dapat berjalan terus menerus dan konsisten. Hasil: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini terlaksana dengan baik berkat adanya dukungan dari semua lapisan masyarakat, yang terdiri dari tenaga kependidikan di sekolah dan pelaku UMKM. Hasil temuan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa 70% pelaku UMKM telah berkategori baik dan sisanya 30% berkategori cukup. Sementara itu dalam hal pengelolaan keuangan berbasis syariah, persentasenya adalah kriteria baik sebesar 60%, dan 40% berkategori cukup. Kesimpulan: Peserta aktif mengikuti kegiatan dan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai pengelolaan organisasi dan keuangan.
