Abstract

Noise is a problem that often arises in the community. Several previous studies have found the potential of environmentally friendly natural materials to absorb sound. The purpose of this study was to determine the physical and mechanical properties of acoustic boards based on the composition of a mixture of banana leaf, water hyacinth, and rice husk materials and to analyze the effect of the mixture of banana leaf, water hyacinth, and rice husk material composition. The acoustic board was then tested for physical properties, mechanical properties, and sound absorption coefficient (α) using the one-microphone impedance tube method. Making acoustic boards with a material and adhesive ratio of 70%:30%, and a comparison of variations in the composition of banana stem, water hyacinth, and rice husk materials for sample A (60%: 10%: 0%), sample B (20%: 0%: 50%), sample C (0%: 10%: 60%), and sample D (20%: 10%: 40%). The results of the research on physical and mechanical properties meet the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 01-4449-2006, namely the density value in all samples, moisture content in samples B, C, and D, and internal adhesive firmness in samples B and C. The test results of the sound absorption coefficient value of the acoustic board are categorized as being able to reduce noise by meeting the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 11654 standard, which is greater than 0.15. The highest sound absorption coefficient value is obtained by sample D at a thickness of 1 cm with a sound absorption coefficient value of 0.287.

Abstract

This study explores the role of digital transformation through modular ERP systems in enhancing corporate adaptability to global market changes. In today’s rapidly evolving business environment, organizations need flexible and scalable solutions to remain competitive. The research examines how modular ERP systems, which allow customization and scalability, help organizations navigate dynamic global market shifts. Using a qualitative research design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders from 10 organizations across various sectors, including manufacturing and retail. Thematic analysis was applied to the data to identify key patterns in how ERP systems support business adaptability, decision-making, and operational efficiency. The findings reveal that modular ERP systems significantly improve adaptability by enhancing business processes, enabling real-time decision-making, and facilitating market responsiveness. Companies reported increased scalability and efficiency in responding to market changes, particularly in areas such as supply chain management and financial reporting. Despite these benefits, challenges such as high implementation costs and complex customization were identified as barriers to adoption. The study contributes to the existing literature on digital transformation by highlighting the strategic advantages of modular ERP systems beyond automation, specifically in improving organizational flexibility and market responsiveness. The findings offer practical insights for businesses seeking to leverage ERP systems to stay competitive in an unpredictable global market. Future research should focus on exploring the long-term impacts of ERP systems and addressing the barriers to their full implementation.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the cascading impact of current conditions on the freedoms of expression and religious belief within Indonesia's online sphere, particularly amidst a rising trend of religious blasphemy cases. The dynamic nature of social interactions and discussions in cyberspace has fostered diverse interpretations influenced by subjective understandings of religion, often resulting in disputes of religious blasphemy. Employing a qualitative research method, the study analyses pertinent literary sources to provide insights into the practice of blasphemy laws and their detrimental effects on the freedoms of religion and expression. Indonesia, as a signatory of ICCPR and the Rabat Plan of Action, upholds constitutional guarantees of these freedoms. However, the current application of blasphemy regulations needs reform to better safeguard the rights of its citizens. By targeting laws that prohibit incitement to religious hatred, the legal framework can more effectively fulfill its primary objective of protecting people from discrimination and ensuring their dignity. This research underscores the urgency for Indonesia to recalibrate its approach to blasphemy laws, aligning them with international human rights standards. So that Indonesia can enhance its commitment to protecting freedom of expression and religious belief, fostering a more inclusive and rights-respecting environment for its diverse population.

Abstract

Given paddy's status as a staple commodity and primary livelihood in Slogoretno Village, frequently experiencing yield reductions due to pest attacks, this community service activity aimed to educate and implement Integrated Pest Management (IPM) through the planting of refugia plants. The program involved the socialization of local-based refugia concepts, practical planting of perimeter refuge patterns on paddy demonstration plots, and the initiation of agrotourism. The results showed a significant increase in farmers' and the community's knowledge regarding ecological engineering techniques using flowering plants for paddy pest control. Furthermore, these demonstration plots have the potential to become agrotourism objects, which is expected to enhance local welfare and sustainably boost harvest productivity. The implementation of refugia affirms its effectiveness as an IPM innovation supporting sustainable agriculture.

Abstract

Abstract Co-creation has become a compelling concept in innovation involving companies and customers. Communication between companies and consumers is now seen as a central factor in the success of both existing and new products or services. Numerous studies have emphasized the importance of co-creation through active customer participation. In today's era of consumer sovereignty, social media platforms and corporate websites have become major enablers of user-generated content. This study explores customer co-creation through social media, using Coca-Cola's “Share a Coke” campaign as a case study. This campaign, recognized as one of the most iconic co-creation initiatives, was launched in several countries, including Indonesia. The research applies a qualitative method to examine how social media platforms facilitated the interaction between brand and consumer, allowing customers to become co-creators of value. In Indonesia, the campaign replaced the Coca-Cola logo on bottles with 70 popular local names, encouraging consumers to share their personalized experiences online. The study finds that co-creation in this campaign was driven not only by promotional incentives but also by emotional, social, and psychological motivations. It also highlights how digital marketing and social media have shifted power from companies to consumers, positioning the consumer as an active participant in branding and innovation.

Abstract

Candidiasis is an infection caused by Candida species, which is the most common fungal infection. The prevalence of this infection increases with the rise in immunocompromised cases, such as HIV/AIDS. This study aims to determine microbiological data on Candida species infection and colonization, including types and susceptibility testing to fluconazole and voriconazole. This research is descriptive in nature. The study population consisted of people living with HIV who were screened by taking saliva samples, which showed the growth of Candida species. Identification of Candida species was performed using Gram staining, germ tube tests, and color identification in Hicrome Candida agar medium. Susceptibility testing was conducted using the Kirby-Bauer method for fluconazole and voriconazole. The diameter of the inhibition zone of Candida was measured and compared with CLSI (Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute) standards. A total of 91 Candida species isolates were found. Candida albicans was the most frequently isolated species (75%), followed by Candida tropicalis (11%), Candida krusei (10%), and Candida glabrata (4%). The sensitivity of Candida albicans to fluconazole and voriconazole was 98.5%, while Candida tropicalis showed 100% sensitivity. Candida albicans remains the most prevalent isolate and is still sensitive to fluconazole and voriconazole.
