Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas tentang nilai estetika yang terkandung dalam pertunjukan tari Nyambut Lawang Kidul, sebuah tarian penyambutan tradisional yang berasal dari Kecamatan Lawang Kidul, Kabupaten Muara Enim, Sumatera Selatan. Tarian ini dipentaskan pada Hari Tari Dunia ke-19 di Institut Seni Indonesia Surakarta. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap unsur-unsur estetika yang muncul dalam tarian tersebut melalui pengamatan gerak, musik, kostum, properti dan tata rias. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keindahan tari Nyambut Lawang Kidul tercermin dari harmonisasi antara gerak yang gemulai, iringan musik tradisional yang khas, kostum berwarna emas yang memiliki makna simbolis, dan properti pendukung yang mengandung nilai budaya. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya kajian estetika tari tradisional dan menjadi referensi dalam pelestarian seni pertunjukan daerah.ABSTRACTThis research discusses the aesthetic value contained in the performance of Nyambut Lawang Kidul Dance, a traditional welcoming dance from Lawang Kidul District, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra. This dance was performed on the 19th World Dance Day at the Indonesian Institute of Arts Surakarta. The purpose of the research is to reveal the aesthetic elements that appear in the dance through observation of movement, music, costumes, properties and makeup. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the beauty of Nyambut Lawang Kidul Dance is reflected in the harmonization between graceful movements, typical traditional music accompaniment, gold-colored costumes that have symbolic meanings, and supporting properties that contain cultural values. This research is expected to enrich the study of traditional dance aesthetics and become a reference in the preservation of regional performing arts.

Abstract

Classroom management is a fundamental aspect in creating a conducive learning environment, especially in mathematics learning in inclusive education. This study analyzes classroom management practices by 10th grade mathematics teachers at SMK Trunojoyo Jember, and their impact on learning engagement and effectiveness. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through five days of observation, semi-structured interviews with teachers and students, and documentation studies. The results showed that the implementation of classroom management strategies such as U-shaped seating arrangements, humanistic communication, collaborative learning, and gamification-based positive reinforcement significantly increased student participation, from 25% to 75% of active groups. The implementation of peer support and individual learning adaptations also increased accessibility and engagement of students with special needs. Despite infrastructure limitations, teacher creativity and professionalism play an important role in maintaining learning effectiveness. This study concluded that adaptive, inclusive, and positive communication-based classroom management contributes to increased student motivation, participation, and mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to describe basic sentence structure errors and describe the factors that cause basic sentence structure errors in writing interview text skills. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were fourth grade students, fourth grade teachers, and the principal of SD Negeri Tegalsari. Data collection techniques used interviews, documentation studies, and observation. The data validity test technique uses source triangulation and technical triangulation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive analysis of the Miles and Huberman model which includes four stages: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, and (4) drawing conclusions. The results showed that the analysis of basic sentence structure errors on the subject indicator (19.23%), predicate indicator (13.46%), object indicator (8.65%), description indicator (45.2%), and complementary indicators (13.46%). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the analysis of basic sentence structure errors in the description indicator is the indicator that most errors occur in the use of sentences. The theoretical implications can be used as a reference for further research. The practical implications can help educators understand how students understand basic sentence structures and to improve future learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate how the narrative writing skills of fourth-grade students (Y) relate to their mastery of spelling (X1) and reading interest (X2). Using a correlational design, the study involved all fourth-grade students in public elementary schools in Manyaran sub district during the 2024/2025 academic year, with cluster random sampling. The data collection methods used are questionnaires and tests. Data were collected through questionnaires and tests, and analyzed using simple and multiple correlation techniques. The findings reveal a strong and significant correlation between spelling mastery and writing skills (r = 0.96, t = 24.7 > t-table 1.67), as well as between reading interest and writing skills (r = 0.98, t = 39.4 > t-table 1.67). Combined, both variables significantly correlate with narrative writing skills (r = 0.986, F = 927.18 > F-table 3.168, α = 0.05, df = 54).

Abstract

Abstract. This research has a purpose to find : (1)the different of argumentative text writing skills between the students that teached by Six Thinking Hats learning method within  Brainstorming learning method ; (2) the different of argumentative text writing skills between the high internal locus of control students and low internal locus of control students, and (3) the interaction between learning method and internal locus of control on the  argumentative text writing skills. Research arranged using quasi experimental research method at 2 x 2 factorial design. The examined population were all the fifth grader students of state elementary school at Laweyan sub district Surakarta in the 2018/2019 academic year. The technique of sampling was using cluster random sampling. The representative sample were Kleco I elementary school and Bratan II elementary school. Data dollected by test and non test technique. The data were analyzed using Two Ways Anava at 5% significance level. This research conclude that (1) there was a different of argumentative text writing skills between the students that teached by Six Thinking Hats learning method within Brainstorming learning method with FA = 11.1345093 > F(0,05;1,62) = 4; (2) there was a different of argumentative text writing skills between the high internal locus of control students and low internal locus of control students with FB= 5.76629985> F(0,05;1,62) = 4; (3) there was no interaction between learning method and internal locus of control on the  argumentative text writing skills with FAB = -0.9813857<F(0,05;1,62) = 4.Keywords : Six Thinking Hats, Brainstorming, Internal Locus of Control, argumentative text writing skills, elementary school

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of describing the forms of Indonesian spelling errors and the factors that influence Indonesian spelling errors in descriptive essays for grade V students. This research used a qualitative descriptive research method. The data comes frim the words, sentences, and paragraphs contained in the essay. The data source is student essay. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of language errors Tarigan. The forms of errors found included errors in the use of letters by 52.09%, writing words by 20%, using punctuation by 27%, and writing absorptionelements by 0.09%. Factors that affect spelling errors in student’s descriptive essays include: (1) student’s lack of understanding of spelling, (2) lack of practice and habituation, (3) students have difficulty writing spellings according to the guidelines for using Indonesian spelling. The research implications are divided into practical and theoretical implications.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the problematic forms of using Indonesian in narrative essays for fourth grade students at SDN Tegalayu Surakarta. The problems studied include (1) problematic language symptoms, (2) spelling and usage problems, (3) word form and meaning changes, (4) sentence problems. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The sampling technique used was representative research subjects, namely fourth grade students at SDN Tegalayu Surakarta. The data analyzed is a narrative essay of students. Data collection techniques using document analysis, interviews, and observations. Test the validity of the data using technical triangulation and source triangulation and refers to the KBBI and PUEBI. The data analysis technique used interactive analysis techniques. The most problems were spelling and usage problems of 36.16%, followed by problems of changing word forms and meanings 35.03%, sentence problems 15.25% and language symptoms problems of 13.56%. The main causes of problems are (1) lack of understanding of students' linguistic rules, (2) lack of mastery of students' vocabulary, (3) low motivation and interest of students, (4) student accuracy. So that teachers need to plan learning strategies that can reduce the problems of using Indonesian in students.

Abstract

Abstrac: The purpose of the research to know defferences of (1) Direct Instruction and Mind Mapping models influence towards student writing skill disciption text. (2) leraning motivastion influence in high and low category toward student writing skill disciption text, (3) the effect interaction of leraning-model implementation and leraning-motivastion toward writing skill description text. The samples of the research are Grade V SD N Musuk 1 and grade V SD N Sukorame 1. This  research use experimental method with 2x2 factorial design. Data were collected by means of questionnaire for students learning motivation data and test for the data of students writing skill description text. Those data were analyzed with two-way Anava test with different content of cell, followed with double comparison of Scheffe method whit level of significance 0,05. The result showed that, frist there were significance difference between Dirct Instruction and Mind Mapping model’s toward students writing skill disciption text (FA = 9,85 > Ftabel = 2,8.). second, there were significance difference between learning motivation influence in high and low toward student writing skill description text (FB = 2,88 > Ftabel = 2,8. Third, there was no effect interaction of learning-model implementation and leraning-motivation toward writing skill description text (FAB = 0,02 < Ftabel = 2,8). Keywords : Direct Instruction, Mind Mapping, Learning Motivation, Writing Skill

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to describe syntactic errors in the fields of phrases, clauses, and sentences. Describe the factors that cause syntactic errors in narrative essays for fifth grade students of SD Negeri Tegalayu Surakarta. This study uses a qualitative method. Methods of data collection is done by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data using triangulation techniques and sources. Analysis of the data using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results of the research based on indicators in the phrase field contained errors, namely the use of regional languages, inappropriate prepositions, wrong wording, excessive elements, excessive superlative influences and the use of respiricals. The error of the clause is adding a preposition between the verb and the object. Sentence errors are unsubjected sentences, illogical sentences, ambiguous sentences, omission of conjunctions and the use of foreign terms. Internal and exte kurnal causes are lack of understanding of correct sentence structure, low reading interest, use of language in the surrounding environment. The implication of this research is that teachers must improve strategies to overcome syntax errors by explaining good and correct writing procedures according to syntax.Keywords: language error analysis, syntax, narrative essay

Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe critical thinking ability on the fraction division of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Tegalayu Surakarta. This study used qualitative research method, specifically qualitative case study. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students of SD Negeri Tegalayu, totalling 25 students. Data collection techniques in this study included interviews, observation, and documentation. The data validity technique in this study was triangulation that consisted of technical triangulation and source triangulation. The data were analysed by using interactive analytical model of Miles, Huberman, & Saldana. The results of this study showed that the ability to think critically was generally in the low category. The interpretation ability was in the medium category. The analytical ability was in the low category. The evaluation ability was in the low category. The inference ability was in the low category. The indicator of the lowest critical thinking ability was the inference indicator. Thus, this mathematical critical thinking study can be used as a reference for another study in other elementary schools. Besides school and teachers are expected to have the skills to develop students' critical thinking ability.
