Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation, incentives, and work discipline on employee performance in the Finance Department of Bandung Adventist Hospital. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis to determine the relationship between independent variables (motivation, incentives, and work discipline) and the dependent variable (employee performance). The analysis results indicate that motivation has a significant and positive effect on employee performance, with a regression coefficient of 0.326 and a significance level of 0.009, supporting the hypothesis that motivation plays an important role in enhancing employee productivity and commitment. Conversely, the incentive and work discipline variables show a negative and non-significant effect on performance, with coefficients of -0.162 and -0.208, respectively. This suggests that the current incentive and work discipline practices are not fully effective or do not meet employee expectations. Simultaneously, the three independent variables have a significant effect on employee performance, with the F-test showing a significance level of 0.009. This study recommends that management prioritize motivation improvement through training programs, rewards, and the development of a supportive work environment. Additionally, it is essential to evaluate the incentive system and adopt a more flexible disciplinary approach to align with employee needs and expectations.

Abstract

This research explores the importance of the task of supporting and assisting Palestine in the field of economic defense for Muslims. This research aims to highlight the importance of helping our brothers and sisters in Palestine and fulfilling our obligations to Allah. Through descriptive analysis depicting obligations and responsibilities towards Palestine, this research seeks to provide insight into the moral and ethical dimensions of supporting a just cause. By examining the principles of cooperation in goodness and benevolence as outlined in Islamic teachings, this research underlines the importance of solidarity with those in need. The findings of this research underscore the important role that individuals and society play in upholding justice and compassion in the face of adversity. Ultimately, this study serves as a call to action for all believers to actively engage in efforts to support and assist Palestine in their economic defense.

Abstract

Strategic management plays an important role in improving company performance by setting clear goals, conducting environmental analysis with SWOT analysis, making proper decisions, implementing plans effectively, evaluating and measuring performance, developing competitive advantages, and creating an organizational culture that is result-oriented. This study focuses on strategic management in improving company performance through literature study from previous research references that are relevant to the topic of study. The results obtained by integrating aspects of management accounting and strategic management can significantly improve company performance for the short, medium, or long term.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of auditors in carrying out responsibilities, because it is very important to support their performance. Auditors are expected to be able to detect fraud in financial reports so that no party is harmed. This research aims to analyze the effect of Self Efficacy, Professional Skepticism, Emotional Intelligence on fraud detection.  The research method uses descriptive quantitative, data analysis uses SEM PLS. The data collection method in this research uses a questionnaire method. Next, a questionnaire will be created using Google Form.  The Google form link to the questionnaire will be sent officially to the representative BPK auditor in South Sulawesi. The research results show that self-efficacy has a significant effect on fraud detection. Professional skepticism has a significant effect on fraud detection. Emotional intelligence has a significant effect on fraud detection. Furthermore, Information Technology is able to moderate Self Efficacy, Professional Skepticism, Emotional Intelligence in fraud detection.  The findings show that an auditor in carrying out his responsibilities needs to understand an auditor's attitude in detecting fraud because it is very important to support his performance. Auditors are expected to be able to detect and eliminate fraud in financial reports so that no party is harmed. To carry out the auditor's function, good intelligence is needed in order to achieve more optimal performance. Rational and analytical thinking processes as well as self-efficacy skills, professional skepticism, emotional intelligence, and information technology are very important for auditors because they are very helpful in detecting fraud. So in this research the broad theories used are attribution theory and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) which explains intentions, attitudes and behavior that influence a person's actions.

Abstract

The Smart Farming concept is identical to the hydroponic cultivation system which is a new revolution in agricultural cultivation methods. Hydroponics is also known as soilless culture, which is a cultivation method that does not use soil as a medium to support plant growth. The advantages of hydroponic greenhouse cultivation include higher yields, the microclimate can be controlled and can be carried out throughout the year without paying attention to weather conditions, so that plant productivity is increased. Apart from the advantages that hydroponic greenhouse cultivation has, it has the potential to increase productivity as described above, the market prospects for the results of hydroponic cultivation are also very promising. The aim of this research is to analyze sustainability and priority strategies in efforts to develop green house hydroponic cultivation using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). This research was conducted in East Java. The results of the analysis show that the most dominant factors that are attributes of sustainability levers are the level of waste management, sales price stability, community conflict, the level of application of modern technology and partnership patterns. The results of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis show that the priority strategy that can be implemented is the implementation of a partnership pattern with the highest value of 0.445.

Abstract

Natural resource management in Indonesia brings complex conflicts involving stakeholders and the use of natural resources. In particular, the natural resource management paradigm needs to be changed to deal with oil palm-related conflicts in border areas, which have the potential to increase tensions between countries. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of natural resource management policies in Indonesia's border regions, with a focus on conflicts related to palm oil. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, involving in-depth analysis of various sources of information such as scientific journals, government reports and other related literature. The research results show that conflicts related to natural resources tend to be triggered by social and economic inequality, as well as neglect of environmental problems. The importance of managing conflict efficiently using models such as negotiation and facilitation is apparent. Involving local actors, including the community, in making policies has a crucial role in ensuring the suitability of policies with community aspirations. Indonesia has adopted sustainable policies, but barriers such as perception and lack of coordination between levels of government still need to be overcome. Therefore, this research suggests creative and forward-thinking solutions, including civil service reform, increasing ecotourism, and developing active community participation as prospects towards natural resource management.

Abstract

The Leadership of the Cakung Subdistrict Head has a crucial role in creating positive changes in improving employee performance, work environment, and improving the quality of public services in Cakung Subdistrict. In the above context, his duties and functions as sub-district head are manifested in programs and policies. First, encourage community participation to take part in development planning within the sub-district in the development planning deliberation forum (Musrenbang), second, provide guidance and supervision of all work units, both government and private companies that have work programs and community empowerment activities in sub-district work areas, thirdly, carry out evaluations of community empowerment activities in sub-district areas, both carried out by government and private work units. The research method uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, namely taking data related to the problem to be researched so that it can be described descriptively, qualitatively and comprehensively, namely describing the prevailing reality and discussing the problems raised in relation to the research object, namely the role Leadership and Organizational Culture in Improving the Performance of Cakung District Office Employees, East Jakarta. From the research results, it is revealed that the Cakung sub-district head has so far fulfilled the elements of effective Leadership character which have an impact not only on aspects of employee performance, but have had a positive impact on the institutional image in a positive way or the positive image of the Cakung sub-district office in the eyes of the publik and stakeholders, especially the community in the sub-district area. Cakung. These aspects of Leadership character include aspects of the Leader as a "Figurehead", as a "Leader", as a "Liason", as an "Interpreneur", as a "Resource Allocation", as a "Disturbance Handle", as a problem solver or problem solver), and aspects of the Leader as “Monitor and “Desiminator” and as “Spoke Person”.

Abstract

Military cooperatives have a strategic role in supporting a country's defense economy by improving the welfare of soldiers. The welfare of soldiers as one of the components in the Minimum Essential Force (MEF) is important in addition to other components such as Main Equipment of Weaponry Systems; Base Facilities and Training Areas; Defense Industry; and Organization and Budget. This paper analyzes how military cooperatives can be an effective economic instrument in creating welfare for military members. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive approach through Biddle and Thomas' (1966) role theory approach that focuses on role conflict and role ambiguity. The research was conducted by collecting secondary data from relevant literature, including journals, books, and official documents. The results of the analysis show that military cooperatives can improve the welfare of soldiers through increased income, education and ownership of assets such as residential houses, reduce dependence on third parties, and encourage efficiency in the management of military logistics needs. This has implications for strengthening the economy and national stability, which can be achieved through improving the welfare of soldiers, providing a multiplier effect for the community's economy, and reducing the burden on the state budget to maintain a stronger national defense. The role of military cooperatives must continue to be developed as an alternative solution to the problem of limited state budget towards the fulfillment of MEF in the framework of a strong national defense. This paper concludes that strengthening military cooperatives can contribute to the stability of the national defense economy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) pengelolaan personalia perpustakaan sekolah di SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari, (2) pengelolaan koleksi perpustakaan sekolah SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari, (3) pengelolaan pengguna jasa (siswa dan guru) dalam memanfaatkan sarana dan fasilitas perpustakaan sekolah SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari, Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan strategi tunggal terpancang. Sumber data yang digunakan terdiri dari informan, lokasi, peristiwa atau aktivitas, dokumen dan arsip. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan teknik snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dokumen, dan studi kepustakaan. Untuk mengukur validitas data digunakan trianggulasi triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode serta review informan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Pengelolaan personalia perpustakaan sekolah di SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari meliputi : (a) perencanaan (planning) pengadaan personalia perpustakaan dilakukan dengan proses rekruitmen maupun penunjukan langsung oleh kepala sekolah, (b) pengorganisasian (organizing) dilakukan sepenuhnya oleh koordinator perpustakaan sesuai dengan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya dan untuk penggantian struktur organisasi perpustakaan dilakukan sepenuhnya oleh kepala sekolah, (c) penggerakan (actuating) dilakukan oleh koordinator perpustakaan, (d) pengawasan (controlling) dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah selaku pimpinan secara rutin. (2) Pengelolaan koleksi perpustakaan SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari meliputi : (a) kegiatan pengadaan koleksi perpustakaan sekolah meliputi : ((1)) perencanaan (planning) pengadaan koleksi perpustakaan sekolah dilakukan setiap awal tahun pelajaran, ((2)) pengorganisasian (organizing) pengadaan ini meliputi koleksi apa saja yang yang harus ditambah dan dengan penerbit siapa saja akan melakukan kerjasama, ((3)) penggerakan (actuating) dengan cara petugas perpustakaan sekolah selalu aktif untuk terus mencari peluang kerjasama dengan para penerbit, ((4)) pengawasan (controlling) berdasarkan perencanaan yang telah dibuat sebelumnya, apakah telah sesuai atau belum, (b) pengolahan koleksi meliputi : ((1)) perencanaan (planning) sejak koleksi pustaka masuk ke perpustakaan sampai siap untuk dimanfaatkan / dipinjam oleh pemakainya, ((2)) pengorganisasian (organizing) pengolahan koleksi buku dan koleksi non buku, ((3)) penggerakan (actuating) meliputi : inventarisasi, klasifikasi, katalogisasi, memberi label buku, penyusunan kartu katalog, penyusunan buku, pengolahan majalah, ((4)) pengawasan (controlling) dengan pembukuan dan pencatatan administrasi yang baik terhadap seluruh koleksi, dan (c) perawatan koleksi perpustakaan meliputi : ((1)) perencanaan (planning) untuk perawatan koleksi disesuaikan dengan tingkat kerusakan, ((2)) pengorganisasian (organizing) untuk mengelompokkan koleksi koleksi yang berbeda jenisnya, agar dalam perawatannya dapat tepat dan sesuai, ((3)) penggerakan (actuating) dilakukan berdasarkan tingkat kerusakan koleksi dan dilakukan secara berkala ataupun insidental, ((4)) pengawasan (controlling) oleh petugas perpustakaan dengan selalu aktif mengawasi terhadap semua koleksi di perpustakaan sekolah. (3) Pengelolaan pengguna jasa (siswa dan guru) dalam memanfaatkan sarana dan fasilitas perpustakaan sekolah SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari, meliputi: (a) perencanaan (planning) peningkatan jumlah pengunjung dan peningkatan pelayanan terhadap pengguna jasa, (b) pengorganisasian (organizing) yaitu untuk menjadi anggota perpustakaan SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari, harus memiliki kartu anggota, (c) penggerakan (actuating) di perpustakaan SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari ini menggunakan dua jenis pelayanan yaitu pelayanan terbuka dan pelayanan setengah tertutup, (d)  pengawasan (controlling) sangat berperan penting untuk menjaga sarana dan fasilitas perpustakaan SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari dapat terpelihara dengan baik. (4) Kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah di SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari adalah sebagai berikut : (a) kurangnya Sumber Daya Manusia yang tersedia, (b) Koleksi buku yang kurang lengkap, (c) pengunjung yang tidak tertib, (d) tidak adanya anggaran yang dikelola oleh perpustakaan sendiri, (e) sistem yang dipergunakan masih manual. (5) Usaha-usaha yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah di SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari adalah sebagai berikut : (a) Kepala sekolah akan merekrut tenaga kerja baru yang nantinya akan ditempatkan di perpustakaan. (b) Mengajukan penambahan koleksi kepada kepala sekolah, juga mengadakan kerjasama dengan pihak terkait misalnya dengan penerbit, dan menghimbau kepada siswa, guru atau karyawan untuk memberikan sumbangan buku atau menitipkan buku-buku koleksi pribadinya untuk disimpan di perpustakaan. pengawasan. (d) Untuk kebutuhan akan pengadaan koleksi, maka perpustakaan harus mengajukan usulan dari guru bidang studi sesuai dengan kebutuhan, kemudian diajukan ke kepala sekolah.  (e)    Tahun ini akan dirintis dengan sistem otomasi dengan menggunakan komputer, sehingga pelayanan dapat terlaksana dengan lancar dan baik.  Kata Kunci : perpustakaan, trianggulasi, organisasi

Abstract

Iklim organisasi sekolah yang kondusif dan motivasi yang tinggi sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru di sebuah lembaga. sehingga dalam penelitian ini akan dibahas penelitian tentang pengaruh iklim organisasi sekolah dan motivasi terhadap disiplin kerja guru di SDN Kemuningsari Lor 02 Kecamatan Panti Kabupaten Jember. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah : (1) pengaruh iklim organisasi sekolah terhadap disiplin kerja guru; (2) pengaruh motivasi terhadap didiplin kerja guru; (3) pengaruh iklim organisasi sekolah dan motivasi terhadap disiplin kerja guru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 34 orang guru. Sedangkan tekhnik analisis data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dokumenter. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas. Untuk memudahkan perhitungan akan digunakan bantuan software SPSS 16.0 version window. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis penelitian dari hasil analisis jalur (path analysis) diperoleh nilai koefisien analisis jalur 0,280 dan probability signifikansinya sebesar 0,048 < 0,05, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak yang berarti iklim organisasi sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja guru. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis penelitian diperoleh hasil analisis jalur (path analysis) pada tingkat kepercayaan 5% diperoleh nilai koefisien jalur (β) sebesar 0,105 dengan nilai probability signifikan sebesar 0,048. Nilai probability signifikan sebesar 0,048 < 0,05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara motivasi terhadap disiplin kerja guru.Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis penelitian dari hasil analisis jalur (path analisis), diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi antara iklim organisasi sekolah dengan motivasi sebesar 0,602 dan probabilitas signifikan sebesar 0,002 (< 0,05), maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa iklim organisasi sekolah dengan motivasia berkorelasi signifikan dan positif sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Adanya korelasi antara iklim organisasi sekolah dan motivasi terhadap disiplin kerja dapat diartikan bahwa variabel iklim organisasi sekolah dan variabel motivasi memiliki makna dalam mengkonstruksi pengaruhnya secara bersama – sama terhadap disiplin kerja guru.Kata Kunci : iklim organisasi sekolah, motivasi, disiplin kerja guru
