Abstract

Religious education is fundamental to be improved, as moral degradation continues to take root around the world. One of the efforts to maintain the value of religious teachings is through the education system, among others through boarding school education. The presence of boarding schools in the middle of society is not only as an educational institution, but also as a religious and religious broadcasting institution. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study methods at IHAQI Boarding School Bandung Creative Boarding School. The results of the study illustrate that historically pesantren continues to change, in the 21st century pesantren developed using the word pondok to "Boarding School", one of them in IHAQI Creative Boarding School. This shows the birth of the modern post generation as a form of modern boarding school progress in the development of the industrial revolution 4.0 era, in addition to displaying religious knowledge, modern post pesantren that exists in the 21st century also displays various skills in various fields of science. Pesantren has a unique and creative Boarding School system in developing various disciplines and skills needed by the community. This pesantren became a post-modern boarding school that excelled in printing a generation of digital-based Islam. Its more comprehensive-holistic educational patterns make it more likely to create an ideal educational environment for giving birth to people who will be able to bring about a revolution in social, political, economic and religious life movements

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the internalization process of the Ulul Ilmi model in moral learning as a moral aspect of Islamic teachings. The world of education is now restless in the face of increasingly severe moral degradation. The key to education's success lies in innovative educators' hands in developing appropriate learning models to achieve the expected learning goals. This research design uses an R & D (Research and development) approach. The results of this study indicate that the process of internalizing the Ulul Ilmi model, which is carried out in the moral learning process, can have an impact on changing the character of Ulul Ilmi in students. The pre-test results using the Ulul Ilmi model only obtained a 20-50% range. In contrast, the post-test results showed a presentation with a range of 50-70% of the answers to each item presented in the question instrument. That means there is a significant change that is felt by students when the lecturer applies the Ulul Ilmi model in the classroom. Likewise, with the Ulul Ilmi character in students, the results of the pre-test show a range of 20-50% only. Meanwhile, the post-test results show a percentage ranging from 30-60% of the answers to each item presented in the question instrument. That means there are quite good changes obtained from the results of the internalization process in the classroom. However, the percentage obtained does not indicate the optimal presentation because the internalization process that is carried out takes a long time and is continuous. It is better to try again to get the maximum change results in realizing the Ulul Ilmi character in UPI students.

Abstract

Religious  Education Between Minorities and Majorities: Exploring the Problems of Islamic Education in Responding to the Era of Globalization and Modernity. Objectives: This study aims to explores the dynamics of Islamic Education discourse in Western and Eastern countries such as Indonesia in response to the Globalization Era and 21st Century Modernity   Methods: The research uses a qualitative approach, where data collection uses literature study techniques. The data we collect from scientific research with sources from Scopus, Web of Science, and Sinta. As for data analysis using Miles and Huberman steps. Findings: The different characteristics between the West, which is dominated by empirical and secular currents of thought, and Indonesia, which is based on religious values Conclusion: Islamic religious education in the West has a secular character that is based on philosophical views of rationalism, empiricism, relativism, capitalism, humanism, and positivism, in contrast to the educational process in the East, which tends to be based on religious principles based on revelations, both the Qur'an and the Qur'an. Abstract

This study addresses the prevalent reliance on theoretical-abstract learning in Islamic religious education, which often emphasizes theories, symbols, textual materials, and memorized facts. Recognizing the need for a more practical approach, our research aims to develop a contextual learning design specifically focused on prayer in Islamic religious education. The goal is to enhance both knowledge acquisition and the cultivation of charitable virtues. Utilizing a combined quantitative and qualitative research approach, we employed research and development (R&D) methods. Data collection involved participatory observation, documentation studies, and questionnaires. The findings reveal that the contextual learning model significantly improves students' theoretical understanding and practical application of prayer. Results show enhanced academic achievements and the integration of prayer values into students' daily lives. The contextual learning model presents a more realistic, concrete, engaging, and meaningful approach to prayer instruction, fostering active student participation and the application of learned material in real-life scenarios. This study underscores the potential of contextual learning in transforming Islamic religious education, making it more effective and relevant for students.

Abstract

Kejawen culture in Indonesia, especially in Javanese society, has a close relationship with Islam. These two beliefs run side by side, but in fact there are boundaries between the Kejawen culture and the Islamic religion. The purpose of this research is to find out how the Kejawen culture and the Islamic religion are, the difference between the two, and what are the boundaries in Islamic life. This study uses a literature review approach and qualitative methods to provide a comprehensive picture of the topic under study. Through a literature review, the authors can compile findings from various sources and provide in-depth argumentation of evaluations. The results of the study show that Islam and Kejawen culture are two different things but have always coexisted and have been inherent in Javanese society for a long time. In addition, Kejawen culture and Islamic religion have limitations in their application that can be known by the general public, namely the application of Islamic religious values by adapting local culture without eliminating Islamic principles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan program literasi pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMAN 1 Dayeuhkolot Kabupaten Bandung dan dampaknya terhadap mutu pembelajaran. Literasi berperan penting dalam membangun keterampilan membaca, berpikir kritis, dan menulis yang relevan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai agama dan pembentukan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program literasi berbasis tahapan pembiasaan, pengembangan, dan pembelajaran telah berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan literasi, motivasi belajar, dan pemahaman konsep-konsep agama siswa. Strategi seperti kegiatan membaca tambahan, ceramah berbasis literasi, dan evaluasi berbasis membaca mampu mendorong keterlibatan siswa secara aktif dalam pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya literasi sebagai landasan pembelajaran yang tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga membentuk karakter dan nilai-nilai moral siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar sekolah terus mengembangkan program literasi yang inovatif dan melibatkan berbagai pihak untuk mendukung keberlanjutan program.

Abstract

RINGKASANDi zaman dengan kemajuan teknologi saat ini, berdampak negatif pada anak-anak ataupun masyarakat akan kurang terbentuknya karakter religius. Dampak negatif ini menimbulkan adanya kesenjangan sosial, kurangnya sopan santun, sampai perilaku buruk lainnya. Pembentukan karakter religius membutuhkan proses dan peran dalam pendidikan. Peran pendidikan bukan hanya dari sisi agama saja, tetapi dapat juga dari sisi pendidikan seni. Pendidikan seni memiliki peran untuk membentuk manusia yang beradab, berdisiplin, bertanggung jawab, maupun religius. Suatu pesan baik yang terkandung di dalam suatu karya seni, akan bisa mengubah perspektif dan sikap seorang peserta didik ke arah yang positif. Peran pendidikan seni dirancang suatu strategi untuk membentuk identitas dan perilaku yang disesuaikan pada ketentuan dan ketetapan agama Islam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penyebaran agama Islam melalui pendidikan seni dalam membentuk sebuah karakter religius pada masyarakat, dan juga bisa mengembangkan potensi diri untuk berkelakuan baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pada pembentukan karakter religius perlu adanya pembiasaan dari diri sendiri, dan pendidikan seni hanya sebagai perantara atau jembatan untuk melakukan proses pembiasaan tersebut.ABSTRACTIn this age of a lot of technology, there is a negative impact on religious character that makes children or society less formed. From the negative impact it causes social inequality, lack of manners, to other bad behavior. In the formation of religious character requires the process of several roles in education. Not only the role of religious education, but there are other roles such as art education. From this art education, it has a role to form civilized, disciplined, responsible, and religious human beings. A good message contained in a work of art, will be able to change a person's perspective to be able to change his attitude towards a more positive one. In that role, a strategy is designed to form a good identity and behavior that is adjusted to the provisions and what is stipulated by the Islamic religion. The purpose of this study is to describe the spread of Islam through art education in shaping a religious character in society, and also to develop selfpotential for good behavior. In this research, descriptive method is used and the approach is qualitative. Then from this research it will result that in the formation of religious character it is necessary to habituate oneself, and art education is only an intermediary or bridge to carry out the habituation process

Abstract

This study aims to define the effect of the hypebeast trend on adolescent consumptive behavior and how Islam views the issue. The hypebeast has developed in various circles, which causes consumptive behavior. Consumptive behavior affects the hypebeast trend and social actions of the community because it is related to people's habits in managing all the problems in their lives. This study applies qualitative methods with descriptive data types and a questionnaire for the data collection with the Likert scale. The questionnaire is intended for adolescents aged 17 to 22 years who are Muslim, both male and female. The results revealed that 67.6% of respondents agree that the hypebeast trend is a priority in buying goods. Based on the results, it is evident that today's teenagers tend to behave consumptively and follow the hypebeast trend. However, based on the Islamic point of view and associated with the Qur'an and Hadith, consumptive and excessive behavior is not justified and is prohibited by Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tren hypebeast terhadap perilaku konsumtif remaja dan bagaimana Islam memandang isu tersebut. Hypebeast telah berkembang di berbagai kalangan sehingga menimbulkan perilaku konsumtif. Perilaku konsumtif mempengaruhi trend hypebeast dan tindakan sosial masyarakat karena berkaitan dengan kebiasaan masyarakat dalam mengatur segala permasalahan dalam hidupnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis data deskriptif serta angket untuk pengumpulan data dengan skala Likert. Kuesioner ditujukan untuk remaja berusia 17 hingga 22 tahun yang beragama Islam, baik laki-laki maupun perempuan. Hasilnya terungkap bahwa 67,6% responden setuju bahwa tren hypebeast menjadi prioritas dalam membeli barang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa remaja saat ini cenderung berperilaku konsumtif dan mengikuti trend hypebeast. Namun, berdasarkan pandangan Islam dan dikaitkan dengan Al-Qur'an dan Hadits, perilaku konsumtif dan berlebihan tidak dibenarkan dan dilarang dalam Islam.

Abstract

The industrial society 5.0 revolution in Islamic Religious Education Learning can create the synergy that accelerates humans to adapt to changes that occur, by utilizing technological advances in learning. The Islamic Religious Education Model in learning is an effort made to answer increasingly complex and complex educational challenges in the era of the industrial revolution society 5.0 which requires the world of education to better prepare students to face the real world. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method which aims to offer a model of Islamic Religious Education in the era of industrial society revolution 5.0. This learning model can help prepare students to face the real world, by directing students to the expectations they will achieve, the challenges they will face, and the abilities they need to master. So that the campus world can become a living laboratory for students in facing real life. Islamic religious education with this new model can be delivered flexibly (flexible learning) so that it will be more adaptive to changing times.

Kehadiran gadget ditengah-tengah masyarakat kontemporer dalam arus globalisasi berpotensi memberikan dua sisi yang berbeda, positif maupun negatif. Tantangan utama sistem pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini adalah bagaimana para praktisi pendidikan proses pembelajaran yang dapat menjaga moralitas dan religiusitas dalam diri generasi muda dari pengaruh buruk globalisasi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan dalam rangka mengeksplorasi dampak penggunaan gadget terhadap sikap social behaviour mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mix method dengan menggabungkan kualitatif melalui teknik wawancara dengan kuantitatif dengan teknik questioner. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik random sampling. Adapun partisipan pada riset ini sejumlah 75 orang. Lalu data yang ditemukan dilapangan dianalisis dan divalidasi oleh ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya relevansi koneksitas antara penggunaan gadget dengan perubahan dinamika perilaku sosial pada mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi. 43,80% mereka menghabiskan waktu lebih 10 jam perhari menggunakan gadget, Whatsapp menempati rangking pertama dalam pilihan platform, 45,90% lebih menyukai gadget dari pada aktivitas sosial, 83,80% memiliki ketergantungan terhadap gadget. Globalisasi menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab perubahan arus aktivitas dan pola pemikiran pada masyarakat modern khususnya generasi milennial.The Effects of Using Gadgets on Student Social Behaviour in Globalization DimensionsThe presence of gadgets during contemporary society in the flow of globalization provides two different sides, positive and negative. The main challenge of the education system in Indonesia today is how to start a learning process education that can maintain morality and religiosity in creating the bad effects of globalization. This study aims to explore the impact of using gadgets on the social behaviour attitudes of college students. The research method used a mixed approach method by combining qualitative through interview techniques with quantitative questionnaire techniques. Collecting data using random sampling techniques as participants in this research several 75 people. Then the data found in the field are analysed and validated by experts. The results showed the relevance of the connectivity between the use of gadgets and changes in the dynamics of social behaviour in college students. 43.80% of them spend more than 10 hours using gadgets, WhatsApp has been ranked first in the choice of platform, 45.90% prefers gadgets to social activities, 83.80% have a dependency on gadgets.
