Abstract

Education aims to construct students to become independent human beings physically and spiritually. To make this happen, educators must have pedagogic competence, which is necessary to support them as professional educators. The pedagogic concept is inseparable from a well-known figure in the world of education, namely Ki Hadjar Dewantara, who gave birth to the concepts of Momong, Among, and Ngemong, based on the concept of humanist education that shows the cultural characteristics of the Indonesian nation. The research method used is qualitative with a Case Study approach, which aims to find out the humanist concept of increasing teacher understanding. The research results indicate that to understand and protect the needs of students, it is necessary to understand pedagogical competency standards to become professional educators, and educators need to be involved in self-development, and collaboration in achieving humanist learning that includes students’ understanding, class management skills, and the ability to provide constructive feedback by determining one of which that refers to the educational concept of Ki Hadjar Dewantara.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of Islamic parties in the Indonesia Onward Coalition after the 2024 elections and its impact on the quality of democracy in Indonesia. This research is a descriptive qualitative analytical-interpretive study, using primary data in the form of official documents from the four main Islamic parties: PKB, PAN, PPP, and PKS, regulations, and jurisprudence, as well as secondary data in the form of scientific articles, previous research, and media reports, with data analysis using content analysis. The results show that most Islamic parties chose a political strategy by joining the government coalition to gain policy influence, rather than to fight for ideology. PKS is the only Islamic party that consistently remains in the opposition and functions as a counterweight to democracy. The involvement of Islamic parties in the Indonesia Coalition strengthens political stability, but also implements democratic oversight mechanisms due to the reduced role of the opposition.

Abstract

Good classroom management is the key to creating active learning in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning. Cooperative learning is an alternative method for teachers to revitalize IRE learning to be more enjoyable and increase student activity. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of the cooperative learning method in increasing student activity in IRE learning in schools, especially at SMP Putra Pakuan Bogor. The research method used in this study was a descriptive qualitative approach with observation and interviews with teachers and students as data collection techniques. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify core themes related to student activity in IRE learning. The results showed that the application of the cooperative learning method succeeded in increasing student activity in IRE learning in schools. By creating a fun learning environment, students become active participants in learning so that it has an impact on students in understanding the material more easily. From this study, the author recommends that teachers consistently apply the cooperative learning method in IRE learning to continue to increase student activity and understanding of the material being taught. Pengelolaan kelas yang baik menjadi kunci untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Cooperative learning menjadi alternatif metode bagi guru untuk merevitalisasi pembelajaran PAI menjadi lebih menyenangkan dan meningkatkan keaktifan siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi dampak metode pembelajaran cooperative learning dalam meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam Pembelajaran PAI di sekolah, khususnya di SMP Putra Pakuan Bogor. Metode penelitan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan observasi dan wawancara terhadap guru dan siswa sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi tema inti yang terkait dengan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode cooperative learning berhasil meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI di sekolah. Dengan menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan membuat siswa menjadi aktif berpartisipasi dalam pembelajaran sehingga hal tersebut berdampak pada siswa dalam memahami materi menjadi lebih mudah. Dari penelitian ini penulis merekomendasikan agar guru secara konsisten menerapkan metode cooperative learning dalam pembelajaran PAI untuk terus meningkatkan keaktifan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan.

Abstract

The transformation of learning in higher education is an urgent need to face global challenges and realize the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045. This article aims to examine and formulate the development of a higher education curriculum based on the Ulul Ilmi Model that integrates Islamic values ​​with 21st-century skills. The Ulul Ilmi Model is understood as a learning paradigm that emphasizes the unity between spiritual depth, intellectual breadth, and analytical acumen in the educational process. The research method used is a systematic literature study with a qualitative-analytical approach to relevant primary and secondary sources, including studies of the Qur'an, Islamic educational thought, national education policies, and literature on 21st-century skills. The results of the study indicate that the integration of Islamic values ​​such as monotheism, morality, scientific ethos, and social responsibility with 21st-century skills including critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and digital literacy can shape the profile of graduates who are intellectually superior, have character, and are adaptive to changing times. The implementation of the Ulul Ilmi Model in curriculum development encourages holistic, contextual learning, and is oriented towards strengthening character and global competence. This article is expected to provide a conceptual contribution to the development of a higher education curriculum that is based on Islamic values ​​and is responsive to the demands of the nation's future towards Golden Indonesia 2045

Abstract

This study examines how religious-based habituation strengthens school culture and fosters interreligious harmony in a religiously diverse public elementary school. Although previous research has explored school culture and religious habituation separately, empirical evidence is limited on how daily religious routines can function as inclusive social mechanisms that promote interfaith tolerance. This study addresses this gap by analyzing the implementation and impact of religious habituation at SDN 116 Cicaheum. A mixed-methods sequential exploratory design was employed. Qualitative data were collected through observations, interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, and documentation. Quantitative data were obtained from questionnaires administered to 30 sixth-grade students and analyzed using validity and reliability testing, followed by simple linear regression. The findings show that religious habituation is implemented through daily routines such as the 5S movement, collective prayers, and Qur’anic recitation, as well as weekly activities including Dhuha prayer, short sermons, and mini religious projects. These practices are designed inclusively, allowing students of different faiths to participate through alternative moral and social activities. Quantitative analysis indicates a positive and significant effect of religious habituation on school culture, with a regression coefficient of 1.645 and a significance value below 0.001. The study demonstrates that inclusive religious habituation not only strengthens students’ spiritual character but also creates structured opportunities for interfaith interaction aligned with Intergroup Contact Theory. It concludes that adaptive habituation programs can be effective strategies for cultivating tolerance and a a harmonious school culture in multicultural educational settings. AbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana habituasi berbasis religius berkontribusi pada penguatan budaya sekolah dan penumbuhan harmoni antarumat beragama di sebuah sekolah dasar negeri yang memiliki keragaman agama. Meskipun penelitian sebelumnya telah membahas budaya sekolah dan habituasi religius secara terpisah, masih terbatas bukti empiris yang menjelaskan bagaimana rutinitas keagamaan harian dapat berfungsi sebagai mekanisme sosial inklusif yang mendorong toleransi antaragama. Penelitian ini mengisi kesenjangan tersebut dengan menganalisis implementasi dan dampak habituasi religius di SDN 116 Cicaheum. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain mixed methods sequential exploratory. Data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa, serta dokumentasi. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang diberikan kepada 30 siswa kelas VI dan dianalisis melalui uji validitas, reliabilitas, serta regresi linier sederhana. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa habituasi religius dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan harian seperti gerakan 5S, doa bersama, dan pembacaan Al‑Qur’an, serta kegiatan mingguan seperti salat Dhuha, kultum, dan proyek religius mini. Praktik-praktik ini dirancang secara inklusif sehingga siswa dari berbagai agama dapat berpartisipasi melalui aktivitas moral dan sosial alternatif. Analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan habituasi religius terhadap budaya sekolah, dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 1,645 dan nilai signifikansi di bawah 0,001. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa habituasi religius yang inklusif tidak hanya memperkuat karakter spiritual siswa tetapi juga menciptakan peluang interaksi antaragama yang terstruktur sesuai dengan Intergroup Contact Theory. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa program habituasi yang adaptif dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk menumbuhkan toleransi dan budaya sekolah yang harmonis dalam konteks pendidikan multikultural.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of joyful learning approaches to enhance meaningful learning in Islamic Religious Education from ontological and epistemological perspectives. Using qualitative literature review methodology, the study analyzes how joyful learning strategies can transform abstract religious concepts into engaging educational experiences. Findings reveal that integrating tarbiyah, ta'lim, and ta'dib concepts with interactive teaching methods significantly improves student engagement and spiritual development. The epistemological framework combining bayani and burhani methods provides a comprehensive foundation for knowledge acquisition. Technology integration, humor-based teaching, and participatory activities demonstrate practical effectiveness in creating transformative learning environments. The study concludes that philosophically-grounded joyful learning approaches holistically prepare students to navigate 21st-century challenges while maintaining Islamic values.

Abstract

Pernikahan dalam Islam dipandang sebagai ikatan sosial dan ibadah dengan tujuan membentuk keluarga yang sakinah, mawaddah, dan rahmah. Meskipun demikian banyak pernikahan yang terlibat rmenyebabkan perceraian. Salah satu cara untuk mencegah konflik adalah perjanjian pranikah, yang berarti kesepakatan yang dibuat sebelum atau saat pernikahan berlangsung. Dalam artikel ini, hukum Islam dan hukum positif Indonesia digunakan untuk melihat perjanjian pranikah. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perjanjian pranikah dapat dilakukan secara sukarela, dengan ketentuan yang jelas, dan sesuai dengan syariat. Konsep ini sejalan dengan maqashid al-syari’ah dalam hukum Islam, khususnya dalam hal hifzh al-mal dan hifzh al-nasl yang berkaitan dengan perlindungan harta dan keturunan. Namun, perjanjian pranikah diakui dalam hukum positif oleh Undang-Undang Perdata, Undang-Undang Perkawinan, dan Kompilasi Hukum Islam. Oleh karena itu, perjanjian pranikah dapat menjadi cara yang sah, syar’i, dan relevan untuk menghindari konflik keluarga.

Abstract

Character education is a central concern in Islamic elementary schools as they are expected to cultivate students’ religious values alongside nationalist attitudes and social responsibility in an increasingly complex social context. This study aims to examine the implementation of nationalist character education and social care education, including the strategies employed, challenges encountered, and outcomes achieved in an Islamic Elementary School. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with a case study design and collected data through in-depth interviews and document analysis. The findings indicate that nationalist character education has been systematically integrated into school culture through routine activities such as flag ceremonies, morning assemblies, and the practice of national songs, thereby effectively fostering students’ sense of national identity. In contrast, social care education is implemented mainly through community-based programs, including charitable activities such as distributing rice packages to underprivileged communities. However, the study also reveals persistent challenges in strengthening students’ social sensitivity, particularly regarding environmental cleanliness and empathy toward others. These results highlight an imbalance between the development of nationalist values and social care behaviors. This research implies that Islamic educational institutions need more holistic and consistent strategies to integrate nationalist character education and social care within Islamic education curricula to enhance students’ moral, civic, and social responsibility.

Abstract

Immanuel Kant dalam filsafatnya berusaha menjembatani dua aliran utama dalam epistemologi rasionalisme dan empirisme. Immanuel kant berpendapat bahwa baik rasionalisme, yang menekankan peran akal dalam memperoleh pengetahuan, maupun empirisme, yang menekankan pentingnya pengalaman inderawi memiliki kelemahan jika dipahami secara terpisah. Di sisi lain, pendidikan Islam menekankan wahyu sebagai sumber utama pengetahuan, yang dalam beberapa hal menimbulkan perbedaan mendasar dengan epistemologi Immanuel kant. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana konsep epistemologi Kant dapat diintegrasikan atau justru berkonflik dengan prinsip-prinsip pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dari berbagai sumber yang relevan, seperti buku, artikel ilmiah, serta penelitian terdahulu. Tahapan analisis data studi literatur meliputi identifikasi topik, pencarian dan seleksi literatur yang relevan, evaluasi kritis, serta pengorganisasian berdasarkan tema. Peneliti kemudian mensintesis data dari berbagai sumber untuk menarik kesimpulan dan mengidentifikasi celah penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa epistemologi kritisme yang diusung oleh Kant dapat diintegrasikan dalam mengembangkan pendidikan Islam yang lebih terbuka terhadap analisis kritis. Meskipun wahyu tetap menjadi sumber utama kebenaran, pendekatan transendental Kant memungkinkan peserta didik memiliki pemahaman yang lebih mendalam terhadap ajaran agama. Dengan demikian, peserta didik tidak hanya menerima wahyu secara dogmatis, tetapi juga mampu memahaminya dengan menggunakan pemikiran rasional. Implikasinya, pendidikan Islam dapat menjadi lebih holistik dengan mengintegrasikan aspek intelektual, moral, dan spiritual, serta lebih siap menghadapi tantangan zaman modern.Immanuel Kant in his philosophy tried to bridge two main schools of thought in epistemology, namely rationalism and empiricism. Immanuel Kant argued that both rationalism which emphasizes the role of reason in gaining knowledge, and empiricism which emphasizes the importance of sensory experience, have weaknesses if understood separately. On the other hand, Islamic education emphasizes revelation as the main source of knowledge, which in some ways creates fundamental differences with Immanuel Kant's epistemology. This article aims to explore how Kant's epistemological concept can be integrated or contradicted with the principles of Islamic education. This study uses a literature study method to collect and analyze data from various relevant sources, such as books, scientific articles, and previous research. The stages of literature study data analysis include topic identification, searching and selecting relevant literature, critical evaluation, and organizing by theme. The researcher then synthesizes data from various sources to draw conclusions and identify research gaps. The results of this study indicate that the critical epistemology promoted by Kant can be integrated in the development of Islamic education that is more open to critical analysis. Although revelation remains the primary source of truth, Kant's transcendental approach allows students to have a deeper understanding of religious teachings. Thus, students not only receive revelation dogmatically, but are also able to understand it using rational thinking. The implication is that Islamic education can be more holistic by integrating intellectual, moral, and spiritual aspects, and be better prepared to face the challenges of the modern era.

Abstract

This study analyzes the paradigm of the Love-Based Curriculum (LBC) as a learning approach in Islamic education that emphasizes the development of Islamic and humanistic character. The method employed is a literature study with descriptive analysis, examining the theoretical foundations, concepts, values, and implementation of LBC in the context of contemporary education. The main focus of the study is how LBC integrates elements of compassion, empathy, and tolerance into the learning process so that students can be shaped into faithful individuals with noble character and strong emotional intelligence in facing social and global challenges. The findings indicate that LBC makes a significant contribution to character development; however, its implementation still encounters several obstacles, particularly the limited understanding of teachers, lack of policy support, and insufficient resources. This study recommends strengthening educators’ capacity through structured training and providing adequate resources to optimize the implementation of LBC. These findings highlight the importance of Islamic education that balances cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects as the foundation for developing a high-quality and adaptive Islamic generation in the modern era.
