Abstract

The water quality feasibility is an important factor in aquaculture activities and increasing the productivity of cultivated fish. The Bangka Belitung University (UBB) is developing nile fish cultivation in earthen ponds using a floating net cage system. However, there has been no study related to the quality of water in earthen ponds that can be used to determine the feasibility of using these ponds for fish farming, especially nile fish. This study aimed to evaluate the water quality for the nile fish-floating net cage aquaculture system at Bangka Belitung University. The physical and chemical parameters observed were pH, temperature, DO, BOD, COD, NH3-N, PO4-P, NO3-N, NO2-N, NH3, C-organic, and minerals. Measurements of fish performance were observed in the form of SR, ADG, SGR, absolute growth (length and weight), and FCR. The results showed that in general the water quality of the earthen pond of UBB was still feasible for nile fish cultivation which produced SR (100%), ADG (0.20 g/day), SGR (2.18%/day), and FCR (1, 3). Water quality engineering can be done by adding a water wheel to increase the concentration of dissolved oxygen and also reduce the activity of Fe and other minerals that cause acidity and inhibit the growth rate of nile fish

Abstract

Bangka Belitung merupakan salah satu provinsi yang dikenal sebagai daerah penghasil Timah terbesar di Indonesia bahkan menjadi penghasil timah terbesar di dunia. Dari sekian banyak tempat penambangan timah di Bangka Belitung terdapat satu Desa di Kabupaten Bangka Kecamatan Merawang yaitu Desa riding panjang dan desa nibung yang berada di kecamatan koba bangka tengah yang juga menjadi tempat penambangan timah yang berada di Bangka.Vegetasi Keanekaragaman Vegetasi (tumbuhan) yang tergambar pada hutan-hutan yang tersebar diseluruh kawasan Indonesia. Vegetasi merupakan kumpulan tanaman yang biasanya terdiri dari beberapa jenis yang hidup bersama-sama di suatu tempat. Dalam mekanisme kehidupan bersama terdapat interaksi yang cukup erat, baik antar individu suatu vegetasi maupun dengan organisme lainnya.egetasi tanaman yang ditemukan yaitu Putri Malu ( Mimosa Pudica ), Lakum Air ( Ludwigia Octovalvis ), Daun Simpur ( Dillenia Indica.L ), Paku Kawat ( Lycopodiopsida ) Colombian Waxweed ( Cuphea Carthagenensis ), Senggani ( Melastoma ), Kantong Semar ( Nephentes Sp ), Paku Lemiding ( Stenochlaena Palustris ), Ilalang ( Imperata Cylindrica ), Niaouli ( Melaleuca Quinquenervia ), Pakis Karang ( Gleichenia Dicarpa ), Purun Danau ( Lepironia Articulata).

Abstract

Rivers are one source of water that is often used by humans for their life activities and the habitat for organisms that live in these waters. The quality decreases due to pollutants originating from domestic waste, both liquid waste and solid waste, and is also polluted by difficult organic compounds/chemicals. degraded such as detergents, phosphates or other compounds. One type of aquatic organism that is influenced by changes in the environment and water quality is macrozoobenthos, the sensitivity of macrobenthos to changes that occur in the water, making macrobenthos an indicator of the condition of a water area. This research aims to determine the diversity of macrozoobenthos as a bioindicator of water quality for fish cultivation in the Air Duren River Stream and to determine the water quality of the Air Duren River Stream for Aquaculture activities. Sampling was carried out in the Air Duren River using benthos filters. and analysis at the Aquaculture Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Fisheries and Biology, Bangka Belitung University. Based on the results, it is known that the macrozoobenthos encountered were 6 species with a moderate level of diversity

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil endoparasit yang menginfeksi ikan lele di Balai Benih Ikan Lokal (BBIL) Air Mawar Kota Pangkalpinang. Pengambilan 30 ikan sampel dilakukan secara acak. Pengamatan endoparasit meliputi bagian dalam ikan lele yaitu daging, hati, usus dan lambung. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif serta disajikan dalam tabel dan gambar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis endoparasit yang menginfeksi organ ikan sampel antara lain Ascaris Lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura, Strongyloides stercoralis, Capillaria sp, dan Anisakis sp. Tingkat prevalensi parasit yang menginfeksi ikan lele di BBIL yaitu 90% dengan kategori hampir selalu dan keterangan infeksi parah. Intensitas endoparasit tertinggi yang menyerang ikan lele yaitu oleh parasit Trichuris Trichiura dengan nilai intensitas 6,23 individu per ekor dengan kategori sedang, sedangkan untuk nilai intensitas terendah yaitu oleh parasit Anisakis sp dengan nilai intensitas 1,57 individu per ekor. Abstract

The presence of microplastics in the environment has generated global concerns. Microplastics contamination is a global environmental problem which negative effect in a habitat, include waters and can enter the food chain that contribute to human health. Occurrence of microplastics in the environment affected by intensive anthropogenic activities, one of them is tourism activity. This study aimed to determine the types and the abundance of microplastics at Temberan Beach, Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Archipelago Province. The water samples were taken using a plankton net (mesh size 100 / 150 µm) with diameter 15 cm and 1,5 L of the surface of the water was analyzed the microplatics content. The microplasctics analysis was carried out by oxidative digestion of organic matters method which are utilizing hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). The results showed there were four types of microplastics and their abundance, namely fiber (54%), foam (26%), fragment (15%), and film (5%). We have observed that anthropogenic activity contributed to microplastic abundance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the steps in inculcating moral values ​​in early childhood, the obstacles faced in inculcating early childhood moral values, and the cooperation of teachers and parents in inculcating early childhood moral values. This research was carried out at RA Intan Permata, Medan Marelan District. This study uses a qualitative research method based on descriptive studies with data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that there are several steps in inculcating AUD moral values, namely Moral Introduction, training on values ​​and morals through various activities both learning and outside learning, habituation of moral values ​​through example. There are several obstacles for teachers to instill moral values ​​in early childhood. Some of these barriers are internal and some are external. Internal means that it comes from the students themselves while external means that the obstacles come from outside the students themselves. With good cooperation between teachers and parents, of course, the cultivation of moral values ​​will be very easy to do, even by itself, moral values ​​will be formed as expected by teachers and parents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at the competencies that can be formed through the use of project-based learning (PjBL) learning models. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. This study analyzes search results from the Scopus, Erics, and Google Scholar databases, with a span of the last 10 years. Based on the search results, 100 relevant articles were obtained which were then filtered based on the inclusion criteria and 41 articles were used as the primary study. Each article in the data, then analyzed based on the capabilities developed from research results. The results of the review analysis of this article can be drawn conclusions and findings that the learning model (PjBL) has a good impact on improving hard skills and soft skills in learning mathematics both at the elementary, junior high and high school / vocational levels. At the elementary level, PjBL is able to improve critical thinking skills and increase motivation to learn, at the SMP level PjBL is able to improve creative thinking skills and increase students' learning motivation, and at the high school level PjBL is able to improve creative thinking skills and increase students' interest in learning.

Abstract

The diversity of development intensity and variation in regional characteristics, as well as various patterns of relationships between components, indicate the complexity of the study of the level of development sustainability in a region. To understand this complexity, a model is needed to provide an overview of the characteristics of regional development sustainability and the patterns of relationships that occur. The development of this model needs to be carried out through the development of an "intelligent system" to understand the structure of regional sustainability more precisely and comprehensively. The study aims to analyze the level of development sustainability of villages in Bantul Regency along with their spatial variations using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) with the Kohonen-Self Organizing Maps Model topology. This study uses a quantitative and spatial approach through secondary data analysis from various sources. The secondary data to be processed is data from Bantul Regency up to the village level. To measure the level of development sustainability in Bantul Regency, we have identified 12 (twelve) variable themes that are crucial in understanding the complex nature of development sustainability. These themes include [list of themes]. The determination of the level of development sustainability is carried out through the use of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) with the Kohonen-Self Organizing Maps Model topology. Data processing using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) with the Kohonen-Self Organizing Maps Model topology is able to provide classification results that better reflect the characteristics of the cluster from the many variables used. Using self-organizing maps reduces complex data dimensions, making it easier to analyze. The findings of this study reveal that Bantul Regency mostly has a relatively low level of development sustainability. As many as 43 villages out of 75 villages in Bantul Regency have a low level of development sustainability or reach 58%. Only one percent have a high level of development sustainability, while the slightly high reaches 19%. These findings have significant implications for the development planning and resource allocation in Bantul Regency, highlighting the need for targeted interventions to improve development sustainability. This shows that in Bantul Regency, the level of development sustainability is still very varied.

Abstract

The public sphere in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic experienced significant dynamics, because public sphere which is a shared property space as an arena for sharing public opinion is limited, especially in the Islamic view which emphasizes avoiding the plague. Moving away from the Covid-19 outbreak means staying away from the crowd as a form of priority to avoid danger. This study aims to describe public space in different circumstances amid a pandemic in an Islamic and multicultural perspective. The research method used is literature study through indepth analysis in parsing the problem in accordance with the term of research. The results of the research showed that public space in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic experienced a shift in function to become a virtual public sphere. The phenomenon of public sphere in Islamic view and multicultural communication is normatively direct and threatening during the pandemic because it risks inviting a crowd so that many virtual-based spaces become active and effective spaces as dimensions of public sphere in the Covid-19 pandemic era.

Abstract

Innovation of da'wah in higher education serves the heart of a successful balance of academic achievement and the nobility of the academic community. This study aims to narrate the innovation of da'wah at the Universitas Negeri Semarang within the framework of da’wah management theory that prioritizes a contingency approach in creating a harmony of preaching and academic activities. The research method used was a narrative study of three key figures who created the da'wah ecosystem at Universitas Negeri Semarang. The results showed that the enthusiasm for preaching has gained momentum since the strengthening of the role and physics of mosques in all faculties in Universitas Negeri Semarang. The existence of the mosque gave birth to prominent figures, created a routine of preaching moderation, as well as eliminating the seeds of radicalism and intolerance in the campus environment. Furthermore, authors also provide suggestions for higher education leaders and the government (Kemendikbud) as the regulator of higher education in Indonesia.
