Abstract

This article aims to comprehensively explain the meaning, history, and types of interpretive rules, along with examples of their implementation in interpreting the Qur'an. The research method employed is library research, examining authentic primary sources related to interpretive rules as the main foundation required for an interpreter. The results indicate that interpretive rules, known as qawa'id al-Tafsir, are basic guidelines generally applied to gain a deep understanding of Quranic instructions. Historically, the emergence of these rules as an independent science was pioneered by Ibn Taimiyah (661-728 H). This writing identifies eight distinct types of rules: the rules of the Qur'an, Sunnah, language, isytiqaq, balaghah, ushul fiqh, qira'at, and science. Furthermore, the article discusses the development of interpretive rules in the modern era, which utilizes the maudhu'i (thematic) method by significantly considering the socio-historical conditions faced by each interpreter today.

Abstract

The phenomenon of rising household prices has impacted the purchasing power of all levels of society, one of which is the residents of Ngampel Village, Mojoroto District, Kediri City. This community service activity aims to reduce one of the household expenditure items, namely the purchase of liquid dishwashing soap, by utilizing household waste as eco-enzymes. Until now, residents have never utilized household waste, simply throwing it away. Over time, waste can pollute the environment. Therefore, through this activity, organic waste will be converted into eco-enzymes that can be used as liquid dishwashing soap, thereby saving one of the household expenditure items. The activity method is carried out by providing training and mentoring in making liquid soap. After the activity, participants will be able to make eco-enzymes and use them as liquid soap independently, thereby reducing monthly shopping expenses.

Abstract

Abstract

The transformation of education in the Society 5.0 era requires educational systems that adapt to rapid technological advancement while strengthening students’ character development. However, studies on Thomas Lickona’s character education have primarily focused on classroom-level pedagogy, leaving its relevance in educational management underexplored. This study aims to analyse the integration of Lickona’s character education framework into educational management in the context of Society 5.0. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), ten peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2025 were analysed through identification, screening, eligibility, and thematic synthesis stages. The findings reveal three dominant patterns. First, curriculum integration embeds moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action into learning Design to support ethical reflection. Second, strengthening school culture emphasises institutional values, leadership modelling, and habitual practices in sustaining moral behaviour. Third, technology-supported character learning shows that digital media enhance moral engagement when guided by ethical management. Overall, character education is more effective when implemented systemically at the managerial level. This study contributes by repositioning Lickona’s framework as a management-oriented paradigm for human-centred education. Future research should expand empirical validation and explore AI-supported models of character education.

Abstract

A Foreign exchange reserves are a vital instrument in maintaining Indonesia's macroeconomic stability, particularly in mitigating external turmoil and stabilizing the rupiah exchange rate. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves position for the period from January 2022 to August 2025 using the Error Correction Model (ECM) method. Independent variables used include the Consumer Price Index (CPI), the rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar (IDR/$), and the policy rate (BI Rate). Data was obtained from the publication of Indonesian Economic and Financial Statistics (SEKI) of Bank Indonesia. The results of the Dickey-Fuller Augmented Stationarity test showed that all variables were stationary at the first difference, while the Engle-Granger co-integration test confirmed the existence of a long-term relationship between the variables. The results of the estimation indicate that, in the long term, no variables have a significant impact on foreign exchange reserves. However, in the short term, the exchange rate has a positive and significant influence, while the policy rate has a negative and significant effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves. A value speed of adjustment indicates that short-term imbalances are corrected towards long-term equilibrium each month, indicating a swift adjustment mechanism.

Abstract

Abstract

The swift pace of digital change in healthcare has opened new doors for mobile health services (m-health), but users in developing areas still face major hurdles, like high consultation costs, no real-time updates on health facility activities, and poor usability of current platforms. This study wants to create a user-focused mobile health app, "GoHealth," using the Design Thinking approach to solve these exact problems. The research framework combines the five steps of Design Thinking—Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test—with a specific focus on improving user interaction and accessibility. Quantitative results showed an overall Task Success Rate (TSR) of 92%, though specific tasks like 'Input Form' and 'Payment' initially had a lower success rate of 80% before iteration. The high-fidelity prototype has a simplified consultation flow, real-time location tracking for health facilities, and a curated health literacy module. Usability testing with representative users (n=5) using the Unmoderated Usability Study method showed a high task completion rate but identified areas for improvement in micro-interactions. This study concludes that a human-centered approach significantly enhances perceived utility and efficiency in mobile health applications by bridging the gap between technological capability and user needs.

Abstract

Students from the Thematic Literacy Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN) of Universitas Riau in 2025 conducted literacy program activities at UPT SDN 005 Binuang Village. Literacy is a person's ability to use potential and skills to process and understand information when engaging in reading and writing activities (Ekowati et al., 2019). Through literacy skills, a person not only gains knowledge but can also use their knowledge and experience as capital for the future. The program was implemented at UPT SDN 005 Binuang Village from Monday, July 14, 2025, to Saturday, July 17, 2025. The objective was to improve the literacy of students at UPT SDN 005 Binuang Village through the Literacy Program. The method used involved designing the entire program. Activities began with read-aloud sessions and "Read Me A Book" for grade 1 and 2 students. Meanwhile, grade 3 and 4 students reviewed book content that had been read to them and participated in interactive quizzes. Grade 5 students expressed their understanding of book content through drawing activities, while grade 6 students were assigned to rewrite stories by connecting them to their personal experiences, and the program concluded with a literacy competition. The coloring competition was intended for lower grade students (grades 1-3), while the "Ranking 1" competition was participated by upper grade students (grades 4-6), with materials covering general knowledge, religious education, and culture. The results obtained showed that the program could significantly increase students' reading interest across all grade levels, develop fundamental literacy skills and comprehension appropriate to students' developmental stages, and create a positive and enjoyable learning environment. This success demonstrates that investment in quality literacy programs not only provides direct benefits to students' academic abilities but also contributes to the development of character, creativity, and thinking skills that will benefit them.
