The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of using the Word Square approach on students' vocabulary achievement. Students in the eighth grade from a public junior high school in Mendo Barat, Bangka Belitung, were chosen as the sample for an experimental type of research and separated into two groups using a quasi-experimental design: the experimental group and the control group. The test was the instrument employed in this study, and the t-test analysis was performed to assess the test data. The test result was analyzed statistically using the Paired Sample T-Test and the Independent Sample T-Test. It revealed that the experimental and control groups' respective mean pre- and post-test differences were 34.268 and 33.334. Additionally, the t-obtained post-test value of 1.549 was greater than the essential t-table value of 2.01. The findings suggested that the null hypothesis was disproved and the alternate hypothesis was found. According to the findings, the Word Square was one of the most successful strategies for increasing students' passion for studying English.

Reading is a basic skill that students must master and enjoy. Through reading, students can increase and improve their knowledge. However, reading is a challenging activity. Based on the observation, the author found that Elementary students in SDN 012 had low abilities in reading activities. This low reading ability has an impact on limited student participation in reading activities. Therefore, the author creates a story telling frame and stages of reading activities that can increase student participation in reading activities and improve students' reading skills. There were some stages done by the author. The first was designing a story telling frame, implementing reading activities with students, the second was using a story telling frame with students and teachers and the last was evaluating the story telling frame. The design of storytelling frame used square and round shape stainless in gold color. They were decorated with artificial flowers, dolls and cloth. The story telling frame was designed based on the theme of the story, which is “where is bear?”. There were 20 students who joined the story telling activity using the story telling frame. The pre-test and post-test on students’ reading comprehension revealed that students have better understanding on reading the text by using story telling frame.

Diabetes melitus atau kencing manis merupakan penyakit menahun yang dapat diderita seumur hidup, Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang cukup banyak mengalami diabetes melitus, angka kejadian diabetes melitus terbilang tinggi termasuk daerah provinsi Riau. Berdasarkan data dari dinas kesehatan kabupaten Kampar tahun 2022, diabetes melitus termasuk dalam urutan ke-4 dari sepuluh penyakit tertinggi dengan jumlah 13.885 kasus. Karya tulis ilmiah ini dilakukan di desa Airtiris yang mana penelitian memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada Ny. S dengan diabetes melitus tipe 2 diwilayah kerja UPT Puskesmas Airtiris tahun 2023. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan sistem wawancara, observasi, pemeriksaan fisik, studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus dengan tahapan Keperawatan yang meliputi pengkajian, diagnosa, intervensi, implementasi, dan evaluasi keperawatan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pasien mengalami ketidakstabilan kadar glukosa darah, defisit pengetahuan, resiko perubahan nutrisi. Dalam hal ini intervensi yang dilakukan monitor kadar glukosa darah, mengidentifikasi kesiapan dan kemampuan keluarga menerima informasi, pentingnya nutrisi bagi pasien diabetes melitus. Tahap akhir evaluasi pada pasien pada keluarga pasien lakukan mengacu pada catatan perkembangan dengan metode SOAP yang mana dalam tindakan tersebut masalah yang terjadi pada pasien teratasi dalam hati ke-3. Pasien dan keluarga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan 5 fungsi keperawatan keluarga supaya bisa memahami dan mengerti pentingnya kesehatan dalam keluarga.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pandangan pedagang kaki lima tentang relokasi Pasar Jongkok Purwodadi Pekanbaru dan alasan mereka bertahan berjualan di lokasi tersebut setelah adanya relokasi oleh pemerintah. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan subjek penelitian adalah pedagang kaki lima yang telah berjualan sejak 2013, terdampak pemindahan, dan kembali berjualan setelah relokasi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pedagang kaki lima memandang relokasi ke Pasar Senggol sebagai kebijakan yang belum sesuai harapan karena lokasi kurang strategis, biaya retribusi tinggi, fasilitas parkir berbayar, dan menurunnya minat pembeli. Alasan pedagang bertahan di Pasar Jongkok Purwodadi adalah lokasi yang strategis, omset penjualan yang lebih tinggi, kemampuan beradaptasi dengan keadaan, biaya retribusi yang terjangkau, minat pembeli tinggi, dan tidak adanya parkir berbayar. Kesimpulannya, kebijakan relokasi perlu mempertimbangkan kesejahteraan pedagang untuk menghasilkan kebijakan yang menguntungkan semua pihak.

This study investigates the financial administration practices at the Murhum District Office, Baubau City, using a qualitative descriptive approach aimed at understanding the implementation of regional financial governance in line with national regulations. The research involved a total of 20 staff members, with purposive sampling of three employees directly involved in financial administration. In addition, financial documents from the years 2020 to 2022 were analyzed to complement the primary data. Data collection methods included direct observation of financial procedures, in-depth interviews with selected financial staff, and document analysis to validate the implementation process. The findings show that the financial administration at the Murhum District Office is carried out in accordance with Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 13 of 2006 and its amendment No. 59 of 2007, which outline the principles and procedures of regional financial management. The administrative process covers key components such as financial planning, budgeting, execution, monitoring, and accountability. Notably, the budgeting process reflects a balanced alignment between projected revenues and expenditures, demonstrating efficient financial planning. The study also emphasizes that the financial activities are consistent with the objectives of Law No. 32 of 2004 concerning Regional Government, particularly regarding the transparent and accountable use of the Regional Income and Expenditure Budget (APBK). Overall, the research concludes that the financial administration system in the Murhum District Office is well-organized, legally compliant, and contributes positively to the realization of good governance practices at the local level

This community service aims to improve the knowledge and skills of teachers and parents in preparing and providing healthy, nutritious, and attractive supplementary food for early childhood at TK Negeri Pembina Kabawetan. The problem faced by partners is the rarity of providing supplementary food in accordance with the Technical Guidelines for Providing Supplementary Food Based on Local Food from the Ministry of Health. The implementation method uses a demonstration approach and direct practice of making supplementary food menus using local food ingredients. The activity was carried out for 8 months involving 3 lecturers and 3 students as assistants. The results showed an increase in teachers' knowledge about balanced nutrition and techniques for preparing supplementary food menus, as well as improved skills in making attractive food menus using local ingredients. The outputs include a supplementary food menu guide, journal publications, and video documentation. This program is expected to be sustainable with teachers ability to independently prepare supplementary food menus to support stunting prevention in early childhood.

Abstrak: Pengajaran matematika di kota Mataram dominan masih terpusat pada guru, partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa masih rendah yang salah satunya disebabkan kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan. Mengatasi hal tersebut, diperlukan suatu pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa serta dapat mengkonstruksi pemahaman siswa. Untuk itu dalam penelitian ini dikembangkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika melalui pendekatan saintifik berbasis GeoGebra berupa RPP, Buku Guru dan LKS yang valid, praktif dan efektif. Hasil validasi perangkat: RPP (4.55), Buku Guru (4.17), LKS (4.44). Analisis efektifitas termasuk kategori efektif dimana: 1) Nilai siswa di atas KKM sebesar 86.84 % ; 2) Rata-rata aktivitas guru dan siswa berada pada rentang batas toleransi yang ditentukan; 3) Kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran berkategori baik; 4) Rata-rata respon positif siswa yaitu 92.65%. Serta berkategori praktis dengan kriteria: 1) Memiliki nilai IP baik; 2) Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berkategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 4.34; 3) Kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran berkategori baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif sehingga dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Kata Kunci: pengembangan, perangkat pembelajaran, pendekatan saintifik, GeoGebra Abstract : Teaching mathematics in Mataram City is still dominant by learning teacher-centered, the student participation in learning and students’ mathematics achievement are still low. One of which is due to a lack of students' understanding of the material being taught. Overcoming this, we need a student-centered learning and can construct students' understanding. For this reason, this study aim to develop a mathematical learning kit through a scientific approach based GeoGebra including the lesson plan (RPP), Teacher's Books and worksheets (LKS) that were valid, practive and effective. The result of the research show that the validation average score for : RPP (4.55), Teacher's Book (4.17), LKS (4.44). Effectiveness analysis included effective categories where : 1) Student scores above KKM were 86.84%; 2) The average activity of teachers and students is within the specified tolerance range; 3) The ability of teachers to manage learning in good category; 4) The average of students positive response is 92.65%. As well as practical categories with criteria: 1) Having a good IP value; 2) Implementation of high category learning with an average value of 4.34; 3) The ability of teachers to manage learning in good category. Thus, this research can be concluded that learning kit that are developed are valid, practical and effective so they can be used in classroom learning. Sekolah Penggerak are schools that are required to implement the Kurikulum Merdeka. One obstacle that Sekolah Penggerak experienced in implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka is the low competence of school principals and teachers in compiling and processing assessment results and report cards. Workshops are a relatively effective way of developing the competence of school principals and teachers. Therefore, this service aims to strengthen the competence of school principals and teachers regarding assessments and report cards through workshop activities. The workshop was also chosen because it involves direct interaction with participants through relevant worksheets. The participants of the workshop were eighteen people consisting of three junior high school principals, three high school principals, six teachers of the junior high school, and six teachers of the high school who were members learning committee. Workshop activities are carried out for eight lesson hours using worksheets from the government. Data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis. The dedication results show that the workshop activities are going well, especially the discussion activities. Although, the time allocation for activities tends to be more. In general, each school has been able to prepare assessments well, although it is still constrained in making criteria for achieving learning objectives. In addition, the assessment editor designed by the school still needs to be more optimal because there are still schools that compile an assessment rubric for that section. Likewise, when processing the assessment results, it was found that schools needed to be able to formulate a formula to determine student scores. In contrast to the previous results, when participants compiled report cards, information was obtained that all schools could prepare report cards properly, including in compiling descriptions related to student competency achievements.

The reliability of medical Internet of Things (IoT) systems is critically dependent on network resilience, particularly in indoor hospital environments where conventional Wi-Fi infrastructures are vulnerable to single points of failure. Although ESP-Mesh has emerged as a promising self-healing communication protocol, its performance characteristics in medical IoT monitoring contexts remain insufficiently explored. This study aims to experimentally characterize the performance of ESP-Mesh networks for resilient medical IoT monitoring systems by analyzing multi-hop latency behavior, signal degradation, and communication stability under indoor medical-like conditions. A multi-parameter monitoring prototype integrating infusion volume, drip rate, and heart rate sensors was deployed as an experimental platform. Network performance was evaluated through controlled measurements of RSSI, end-to-end latency, and self-healing behavior, while MQTT was employed to assess cloud-based transmission efficiency. The results demonstrate that ESP-Mesh maintains stable self-healing communication with an average multi-hop latency of 0.714 s across distances up to 5 m, with latency increasing consistently as RSSI decreases. MQTT cloud transmission achieved a lower average latency of 0.247 s with zero packet loss, confirming its suitability for lightweight medical data delivery. Sensor evaluation revealed high accuracy for infusion volume monitoring (95.42%), while heart rate and drip rate measurements exhibited lower reliability due to signal interference and environmental sensitivity. These findings provide empirical insights into the performance limits and trade-offs of ESP-Mesh networks in medical IoT environments. The study confirms the feasibility of ESP-Mesh as a resilient communication backbone for medical monitoring, while highlighting the necessity of advanced signal processing to achieve clinical-grade sensing reliability.

Parenting is an attitude carried out by parents or adults around a child to care for and educate the child. Then, custom is something that applies in a place to be implemented. This study aims to determine the procession of preparation for the birth of traditional Muslims in the village of Tegal Badeng, Negara District, Bali. Starting from before birth to welcoming the birth of a child and the daily care process for mothers who work for two families with early childhood. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The informants in this study were three mothers who worked as factory employees and the local community. This study found how the initial procession started from the child in the womb until the process of welcoming the birth of a child and the care provided by three informants. There are traditional and religious rituals in the procession before birth, namely holding a seven-month event and in welcoming the birth of a child, a nelai event is held. In addition to preparation for birth, in the caregiving process the three informants separated between care and their working hours. Family involvement is a factor supporting the success of the birth preparation procession to parenting.
