Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of mindfulness and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on employee performance with intrinsic motivation as a mediating variable. The study was conducted on employees of the East Kalimantan Province Bank Indonesia Representative Office using a quantitative approach through a questionnaire filled in by 148 respondents. Data analysis uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS. The research results show that mindfulness has a significant positive influence on employee performance, but not significantly on intrinsic motivation. This is influenced by the characteristics of the millennial generation who tend to like instant results and work-life balance, so that mindfulness is less effective in increasing intrinsic motivation. To overcome this, integration of mindfulness with other variables that give work meaning is necessary. OCB has been proven to have a significant positive effect on intrinsic motivation and employee performance. Intrinsic motivation also has a significant effect on employee performance. However, mindfulness did not influence performance through intrinsic motivation. Intrinsic motivation is more influenced by other factors such as job satisfaction, challenges and personal achievements. OCB has a significant influence on performance with intrinsic motivation as mediation. This study expands the literature on mindfulness, OCB, and intrinsic motivation. Practically, it is important to implement structured mindfulness programs and promote OCB. Research limitations include the limited institutional scope and cross-sectional design, so further research is needed to generalize the results.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Talang. The research was driven by limited dissemination and understanding of the independent learning curriculum, particularly regarding P5. The objective of this research is to analyze the implementation of P5, identify challenges encountered during its execution, and explore strategies to address these challenges. This study employs a qualitative research approach with a descriptive method. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, and data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity was ensured using triangulation of sources, while analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that P5 is implemented for grade VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Talang. However, challenges include insufficient socialization of the program, difficulties in developing project modules, and issues in allocating time for project execution. To address these issues, the school has conducted teacher training on the P5 framework within the independent learning curriculum and facilitated discussions among teachers involved in class projects to refine time management strategies. Future studies should explore the long-term impacts of P5 implementation on student character development and academic performance. Additionally, research could investigate the integration of P5 across different grade levels to assess its broader applicability and effectiveness. Quantitative studies measuring the correlation between teacher training effectiveness and project outcomes would also provide valuable insights. Furthermore, examining the role of parental involvement and community support in enhancing P5 implementation may offer a more comprehensive understanding of its success factors.

Abstract

This research is motivated by many students who feel they have understood magnetic material, but when the teacher conducts a test on magnetic material, low scores are obtained. This is certainly a challenge for teachers to teach magnetic material better so that students can understand it. This study aims to analyze students' misconceptions in learning science magnetic material at the elementary school level using the CRI (certainty of response index) method, which consists of 4 categories, namely MN (guessing), PK (understanding the concept), TPK (not understanding the concept), and M (misconception). This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to analyze the causes and solutions of misconceptions about magnetic material in depth. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and the CRI test. The results of the study stated that misconceptions were caused by students' preconceptions and imperfect understanding. In addition, this study found a link between concept understanding and misconceptions. Students who have low understanding tend to experience high misconceptions. Therefore, the ideal learning strategy in accordance with student characteristics is a conceptual learning model combined with interactive learning media.
