Abstract

Skincare refers to a series of skin treatments (epidermis) and the middle layer of the skin (dermis) aimed at protecting and maintaining the body, and is categorized as a cosmetic product. One of the most commonly used cosmetic preparations is skincare serum, which helps maintain skin elasticity and hydration. A rising trend in the industry is the development of serums, and one potential plant to be used as a safe active ingredient in cosmetics is the butterfly pea flower (Clitoria ternatea L), which is rich in flavonoids with antioxidant activity. The objective of this study was to determine whether butterfly pea flower extract serum can be formulated into a facial serum with moisturizing properties and to evaluate the physical stability of the serum preparation. The method used is Laboratory experiments were performed. The butterfly pea flower extract was obtained through maceration with 70% ethanol and then formulated into facial serum using different concentrations of HPMC base at 3%, 4%, and 5%. The results of serum stability tests were obtained using physical stability methods. Physical property tests included organoleptic testing (lavender scent, deep blue color, slightly thick, or serum-like texture), with stable organoleptic properties observed during storage, without any changes ...

Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are crucial sectors that support economic growth in Indonesia. In the massive development of the digital economy, there has been a shift from offline to online transactions. MSME actors are now required to adopt technology to follow consumer shopping trends. One way to do this is by implementing e-commerce. The development of MSMEs through e-commerce is a smart step to increase visibility and market access. By leveraging e-commerce platforms, MSMEs can reach a wider audience, boost sales, and expand their business footprint without geographical limitations. In addition to digitalization, MSMEs need guidance in online sales, inventory management, digital marketing, and financial management. This guidance helps MSMEs maximize their potential in e-commerce. Desa Panjunan in Duduksampeyan District, Gresik Regency, is one village with MSME potential that needs to be developed through e-commerce. This community service activity will include creating an MSME e-commerce website for the village as a step towards becoming a Smart Village. The developed e-commerce has been tailored to the characteristics and needs of MSME actors in Desa Panjunan. This e-commerce initiative in Desa Panjunan can open up broader market access for local products, improve competitiveness, product quality, and MSME business management, as well as increase the income and welfare of the local community.

Abstract

Technological advancements are increasingly shaping daily life. This includes the dissemination of information, with Muslims utilizing technology for Islamic da'wah, particularly Qur'anic interpretation (Tafsīr). While traditionally accessed through physical prints, Tafsīr is now readily available on websites. This study analyzes the sources, methods, and patterns of interpretation employed by http://muslimah.or.id. Employing a qualitative research method with a descriptive-qualitative approach, the study reveals several key features of the website's Tafsīr approach. Interpretations focus on individual letters, specific themes, and contemporary Muslim women's issues. Authors cite reference sources, and interpretations are diverse, reflecting at least four distinct methods. The website incorporates both traditional (bi al-Maʼthūr) and rational (bi al-Ra'y) methods, drawing from classical Tafsīr works like Jalalain, at-Ṭabarī, and Ibn Kathīr. Notably, the website utilizes thematic (Mawḍūʻī) and comparative (Muqāran) approaches. The website prioritizes socio-literary (Adabī ijtimāʻī) aspects, focusing on linguistic, literary, and socio-cultural contexts. However, the inconsistent nature of interpretations due to the website's multiple contributors presents a potential challenge.

Abstract

Law No. 1 of 1974 establishes a minimum age of 19 years for marriage with court permission, while Islamic law emphasizes physical and mental maturity without a specific age limit. This study compares the two legal systems in handling underage marriages with a focus on child rights protection and norm alignment. This research aims to understand the main issues related to underage marriage through a comparative analysis between civil law and Islamic law. Additionally, this study examines the policies and roles of marriage registration institutions in protecting the rights and interests of children. This research uses qualitative methods with literature study techniques to analyze the differences between civil law and Islamic law regarding underage marriage. Data from Law No. 1 of 1974, interpretations of Islamic law, and journals are descriptively analyzed to produce relevant recommendations. The research results show that the rules regarding the minimum age limit are not yet consistent, leading to the frequent occurrence of underage marriages. This indicates the importance of a more in-depth evaluation of granting permission for underage marriages, as regulated in the Supreme Court Regulation (PERMA) No. 5 of 2019, which states that the marriage process must consider several aspects such as health, education, and social conditions to ensure a good decision for the child.

Abstract

Crocidolomia binotalis Zell is an important pest in Brassicaceae vegetable crops. Vegetable insecticide is one potential alternative to controlling the pest. This study aims to determine the application time of noni fruit extract and to determine the effective concentration of noni fruit extract as a vegetable insecticide in controlling C. binotalis larva on cabbage plants in the field. this study used a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of two treatment factors and four replications. The first factor is the concentration of extract (5 ppm, 10 ppm, 15 ppm and 20 ppm) and the second factor is the time of application of vegetable pesticide before the pest is invested (W1) and after the pest is invested (W2). So there are 32 units of experiments and 4 units of experiments added as control. The results showed, noni fruit extract had no significant effect on mortality of C. binotalis larvae. The highest mortality rate is at 100% K2 (10ppm) concentration at the time of application before the pest is invested (W1). The interaction had significant effect on the wet weight of the plant canopy but had no significant effect on the mortality of the pest, the intensity of the attack, the percentage of pupa formed, and the present percentage of imago.

Abstract

This research examines the application of Roscoe Pound's theory in litigation and non-litigation conflict resolution in Indonesia, with a focus on the case study of the “Geprek Bensu” trademark dispute and the Benuaq tribe's customary land conflict. The background of this research is based on the complexity of legal conflict resolution in Indonesia which involves social and humanitarian aspects. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of litigation and non-litigation approaches based on Roscoe Pound's thoughts on law as a tool of social engineering. This research uses a normative juridical method with a case study approach, analyzing two different cases, namely a trademark dispute resolved by litigation and a customary land conflict using a non-litigation approach. The results show that litigation settlements, such as in the “Geprek Bensu” case, tend to produce firm decisions but can worsen relations between parties. Meanwhile, the non-litigation approach in the Benuaq Tribe is more effective in maintaining social harmony and cultural values. In conclusion, Pound's theory on the balance of interests is still relevant in the context of conflict resolution in Indonesia, with the non-litigation approach being more suitable for cases involving socio-cultural aspects.
