Abstract

Electricity supply must be able to reach all users, including those on small islands in Indonesia, one of which is Karimunjawa Island. Starting in 2016 Karimunjawa Island is supplied by 2 units of Legon Bajak Diesel Power Plant (PLTD) with a capacity of 2x2.2 MW. Based on the peak electricity demand on Karimunjawa Island, each month from January 2017 to December 2018 increased by about 3.9% with an hourly peak load of 1,146 kWh. The average consumption of PLTD Legon Bajak every month in 2018 is 194,877 liters / month. The higher the kWh production of a PLTD, the higher the operational costs for fuel. In addition to the high price of fuel, combustion results from PLTD operations also cause air pollution. Based on these problems in this study will analyze the optimization of the kWh Legon Bajak PLTD using a wind turbine generator model b.ventus 250 kW of 3 units with an assumption of 50% of the peak load, because on Karimunjawa Island has a high enough wind energy potential. The average wind speed from 2004 to 2015 in several areas of Karimunjawa Island was 5.7 m / s. In this study will calculate technical analysis and economic analysis. In the technical analysis the wind turbine generator power output is calculated using the weibull method based on wind speed and power curve b.ventus 250 kW while the economic analysis calculates the cost of fuel savings that can be achieved after optimization calculations. Calculation results show wind turbine power output of 990,981 kWh / year. Based on the specific value of fuel consumption (SFC) of 0.432 liters / kWh fuel consumption during 2017 amounted to 1,605,453.9 liters / year while for 2018 it was 2,338,528.1 liters / year. From the 3 wind turbine electricity supply of 2,972,943 kWh / year, it will reduce fuel consumption by 1,284,311.4 liters / year with a saving cost of Rp.15,989,291,338.00. The amount of optimization of the kWh PLTD after the supply of 3 units of b.ventus 250 kW wind turbine model in 2017 was 80% while in 2018 it was 54.9%.

Abstract

World Health Organization (WHO) in 2013 showed that cataracts are the main cause of blindness in the world around 42 %. The cataract or turbidity of the eye lenses is the most common cause of decreased visual acuity in Indonesia. Preoperative complications can interfere with the smooth operation so that the best visual acuity results are difficult to achieve. This study aims to determine the relationship between preoperative complications and visual acuity after cataract surgery at the Community Eye Health Center (BKMM) NTB in 2018. This type of research is an analytic observational case control research approach. The population in this study were all patients who have performed cataract surgery using the Small Incision Cataract Surgery (SICS) method and performed Intra Ocular Lens (IOL). The number of samples in this study were 70 people with sample techniques using consecutive sampling. This research was conducted at BKMM NTB on February 13 - March 13 2018. The data collection tool in this study was the observation sheet. Data analysis using Chi Square test. The results of the study obtained p-value = 0.0005 (a = 0.05) so Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship the pre-operative factors of the operation on the post-operative vision acuity with the SICS method at Community Eye Health Center (BKMM) NTB in 2018. Recommendations that can be given are cross-program collaboration with health service agencies in order to conduct health promotion and improve human resources

Abstract

Introduction: Caffeine, antioxidants, and vitamin C are important compounds found in coffee beans. These chemical compounds affect the taste and aroma of coffee. The research aims to examine the effect of hormone application on the chemical content of coffee beans. Methods: The research was carried out at the people's coffee plantation in Kwadungan Gunung, Kledung, Temanggung, Central Java. The research uses an experimental method with two factors. Factor I variety consists of two varieties, namely Sigararutang and Yellow Catura. Factor II of the Plant Growth Regulators (PGR) application consists of four levels, namely: Control, ethrel, NAA, and gibberellin. Each treatment combination with 5 replications. The parameters observed were the number of fruit/ tree, the number of ripe fruit/ tree at the first harvest, caffeine content, vitamin C, antioxidant activity, sugar, and protein. Data were analyzed using ANOVA with the DMRT further test. Results: The number of coffee cherries of the Yellow Catura was better than the Sigarar Utang. The caffeine is better in Sigararutang in all PGR applications compared to other combinations. The antioxidant activity of Yellow Catura with the application of NAA and GA3 is better than other combinations. Vitamin C in Yellow Catura with GA3 application and control is better than other combinations. The protein in Yellow Catura with NAA application is better than other combinations. The sugar in Yellow Catura with all applications of PGR is better than the other combinations. Conclusion: PGR application and differences in varieties affect the chemical content namely caffeine, antioxidant activity, vitamin C, protein, and total sugar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis daya pada gedung furniture di PT. Buana Multi Pratama Jepara dengan mengunakan metode Intensitas Kosumsi Energi (IKE), dengan menggunakan data invoice pembayaran listrik sebagai alat perbandingan. Pendekatan ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan menganalisis secara rinci intensitas konsumsi energi pada setiap tahap operasional gudang furniture PT. Buana Multi Pratama Jepara. Data invoice pembayaran listrik digunakan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman tentang biaya energi yang terkait dengan setiap langkah produksi. Metode IKE diterapkan untuk merinci dan membandingkan tingkat intensitas konsumsi energi pada masing-masing tahap tersebut. Dan nilai IKE listrik tahun 2023 adalah sebesar 118 kWh/hari, sedangkan penggunaan di PT. Buana Multi Patama sekitar 98,5 KWh/hari. Hasil ini ketika dirupiahkan untuk IKE adalah Rp 3.382.035 dan untuk invoice adalah Rp 3.303.828 menghasilkan selisih sekitar Rp 79.000. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi selisih tersebut ialah ternjadinya penurunan pesanan untuk ekspor.

Abstract

In oil and gas production, CO2 corrosion and  CaCO3 scale happen simultaneously. Research has been carried out on the corrosion behavior of CO2 on carbon steel samples. Corrosion behavior was analyzed based on changes in temperature (60, 80 and 100 °C) and CaCO3 concentration (0, 700 and 1000 ppm) in seawater environments with CO2 gas at a flow rate of 1 lt/min. The corrosion rate calculation is carried out using the weight loss method. Increasing the concentration of CaCO3 in seawater causes a decrease in the corrosion rate and the greatest corrosion rate occurs at 80 °C. Characterization of corrosion products from deposited powder using XRD and SEM at various temperature changes produces crusts with aragonite, calcite and halite phases. Meanwhile, variations in CaCO3 concentration produce aragonite phases as well as siderite and chukanovite corrosion products with morphologies such as rice grains, rhombohedral, needle-like and plate-likeKeywords: CO2 corrosion, aragonite, siderite and chukanovite

Abstract

Tujuan utama adanya penelitian ini mengetahui bagaimana hasil dari metode pembelajaran matematika realistik dengan alat peraga papan eliminasi untuk peningkatan pemahaman matematis kelas VIII SMP. Adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa yeng mengikuti kegiatan belajar penerapan matematika realistik dengan alat peraga papan eliminasi adalah hipotesis dari penelitian ini. Penelitian kuantitatif ini populasinya siswa kelas VIII, dan sampelnya adalah 6 siswa. Instrumen yang dipergunakan adalah berupa soal pre-test dan soal post-test. Jumlah ujian untuk pemahaman matematis terhadap penerapan pembelajaran matematika ini adalah 4 soal uraian. Analisis datanya menggunakan uji normalitas dan perhitungan N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada rata-rata siswa yang awalnya 51,6 menjadi 80,0 setelah diterapkan pembelajaran matematika realistik dengan menggunakan media papan eliminasi

Abstract

This article discusses the one-student, one-work learning strategy for the writing skills of INISNU Temanggung students. This study aimed to determine the Sama Saya learning strategy on students' writing skills. This study uses a type of qualitative research, namely descriptive analysis. The data collection carried out in this study used direct interview techniques, observation, and documentation. This study states that the learning strategy of one student is to work through habituation, culture, and program integration in the academic curriculum. The findings of this study follow the concept and theory of structural functionalism of Talcott Persons, commonly known as the AGIL scheme (Adaptation, Goal attainment, Integration, Latent-pattern-maintenance), so this strategy is fundamental and practical to improve students' writing skills.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of teacher pedagogical competence on student learning outcomes in the subject of Fiqh. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The results of this research show that teacher pedagogical competence influences student learning outcomes in the Fiqh subject, which can be seen from the results of simple linear regression analysis and analysis of the coefficient of determination. From the analysis results, it shows a significance value of 0.001, it can be seen that 0.001 < 0.05. Thus, this research hypothesizes that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, with the statement that there is an influence of teacher pedagogical competence on student learning outcomes in the subject of jurisprudence. The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination show that R Square is 0.336, which means that it indicates that the independent variable in the form of teacher pedagogical competence has an influence on the dependent variable in the form of student learning outcomes by 33.6%, and the remaining 66.4% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This service aims to increase the creativity of MSME actors in creating more modern logos using the Canva application as a means of product promotion because a logo is a very important thing in starting a business. Logo design can also influence the formation of a product image. With a logo, it can reflect the identity of the product itself so that it is better known to many people. The method used in the training is the demonstration and practice method. The results of this activity are that the use of the Canva Application in creating logos is quite simple and easy to understand by changing fonts, changing color combinations, and adding text and product images using the main features, namely drag and drop, then continued with the implementation of practices carried out by MSME actors and can produce logos according to the objectives, namely more creative and modern logos.

Abstract
