Abstract

The waters of Teluk Surau, Lemukutan Island, Bengkayang Regency are part of a Conservation Area that is the center of economic activities such as pearl shell cultivation, fishing, tourist transportation and settlement. These activities have the potential to pollute waters with heavy metals lead (Pb) and zinc (Zn) which can disrupt ecosystems and public health. This study aims to analyze the concentration of heavy metals Pb and Zn based on location characteristics and human activities in the waters. Sampling was conducted at four strategic points representing residential areas, pearl mussel farms, docks and control areas (no activity). Water samples were taken at a depth of 30 cm, then preserved with HNO₃ until pH ≤ 2 and analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). The results showed that Pb concentrations ranged from 0.1385-0.1763 mg/L, with the highest concentrations found in residential areas and docks (0.1763 mg/L) and the lowest concentrations in areas without activities (0.1385 mg/L). Zn concentrations ranged from 0.0061-0.0140 mg/L, the highest concentration in the dock area (0.0140 mg/L) and the lowest concentration in the pearl mussel cultivation area (0.0061 mg/L). All sampling locations showed Pb concentrations far exceeded the seawater quality standard for marine tourism (0.005 mg/L) according to Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 appendix VIII on the Implementation of Environmental Protection and Management, while Zn concentrations were still below the standard.

Abstract

The availability of glucose is very influential on the performance of athletes. In addition, the level of fatigue can also inhibit performance in the body. One Prevention to minimize the level of fatigue and improve performance by consume beverages rich in carbohydrates. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of honey mixed with water, date extract mixed with water, and energy gel x on glucose and lactic acid levels. Method: This study used a double-blind crossover design with four periods. This research was conducted in futsal field of Ramuna, Jati Asih, Bekasi. The subjects were 20 students of futsal teams of SMA Future Gate Bekasi with healthy status. Each period of study subjects checked blood glucose and lactic acid levels before playing futsal with moderate intensity (70% -80% HR) for 4 periods. Each period is separated by a washout for 7 days. Glucose and lactic acid levels were measured immediately at 0, 20, 40, and 45 minutes to determine the significant difference in the effect of treatment on glucose and lactic acid levels. Results: The three carbohydrate beverage administration treatments had no significantly different carbohydrate content. Two or more data averages are said to have significant differences if the value (P<0.05). That’s group II, III, and IV. There was a significant difference in blood glucose and lactic acid levels between the 20th and 40th minutes and the difference between the 20th and 45th minutes. This can be seen from both values in Group II (P=0.001) where (P<0.05). Conclusion: of the three, honey (Apis mellifera Linnaeus) mixed with water, dates (Phoenix dactylifera) extract mixed with water, and sports drink energy gel X have a significant effect on increasing blood glucose levels and decreasing lactic acid levels in the men's futsal team of Future Gate Bekasi High School.

Abstract

Dinamika pembangunan masyarakat gampong Mesjid Punteut sangat dinamis karena merupakan pusat dari berbagai lembaga pendidikan tinggi yang ada di kota Lhokseumawe. Problema yang muncul diantaranya pengaruh negatif terutama bagi pemuda/remaja yang sangat rentang akibat dari pola hidup yang majemuk. Kondisi demikian disamping menjadikan permasalahan tersendiri bagi gampong tersebut sekaligus memberikan potensi kemajuan dan kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat, yang salah satunya usaha reparasi dan modifikasi printer. Didorong olehkepedulian dantanggung jawabsosialterhadap masyarakat lingkungan Politeknik Negeri Lhokseumawe serta wujudnyata implementasi tridharma perguruantinggi terhadap desa binaan,kami melaksanakan penerapan Ipteks kegiatan perberdayaan pemuda melalui pelatihan reparasi dan modifikasi printer digampong Mesjid Punteut Kecamatan Blang Mangat Kota Lhokseumawe. Pelatihan bersifat teori dan praktek dengan capaian output tingkat keberhasilan memuaskan untuk materi pemasangan dan perawatan printer100%, pengenalan komponen printer 90,91%,jenis kerusakan dan cara reparasinya72.73% dan pemasangan infus(ContinousInkSupplySystem) mencapai81.82%, dengan outcome empat buah printer berfungsi baik dan menjadi aset desa.Kata kunci: Pemberdayaan pemuda, reparasi dan modifikasi, printer, Gampong Mesjid Punteut

Abstract

Animal feed is food given to the pets. Animal feed is very important thing in aquaculture activities in the livestock sector. Rice straw is the main choice for livestock feed. The content of the nutrition in the rice straw are 4.60% crude protein and 28.86% crude fiber, thats not good for livestock growth and caused the farmers economic condition. Even though the rice field land in Nisam sub-dictrict is quite wide and there is a lot of rice waste during the harvest season, but the people still not optimized its utilization. Optimizing the utilization of damaged rice straw can support the need for high nutrition content in animal feed, so that the livestock can grow well. To improve the quality of rice straw, it is necessary to carry out the process in using the probiotics then it is easily digested by livestock. This condition will improve the welfare of the breeders. Abstract

Community service aims to mentor teachers of SMA N 1 Nisam in the preparation of teaching schedules through timetable applications. TimeTable is an application created specifically to help users organize schedules, which are more affective and efficient. TimeTable has an elegant look so it's easy to operate. The application of asc time table will make it easier to work on the curriculum, especially for the preparation of the schedule of subjects quickly, accurately and relevantly, and can overcome the problems of clashing schedules of subjects perclass, teacher, and study room at SMA N1 Nisam.Key words: TimeTable, Course schedule

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge to Elementary School 5’s teachers in Syamtalira Aron about how to create Canva-based learning presentation media. The method we apply is direct assistance to teachers in the process of creating Canva-based Learning Presentation Media. Our team will provide intensive guidance to assist teachers in mastering the use of Canva and designing effective presentation media. The expected outcome of this service activity is to offer substantial support to teachers, enabling them to independently create learning presentation media that suit their needs. By focusing on Canva as a creative tool, we want to ensure that teachers can optimize the use of presentation media in their learning process. Through this assistance, it is hoped that teachers will acquire not only new knowledge but also practical skills in creating engaging and effective learning materials. Abstract

Unemployed youth due to the Covid-19 pandemic continues to grow, this is a problem because youth are unemployed. This unemployment problem is very important to pay attention to because unemployment has the potential to cause various crimes (involved in narcotics) and social unrest, and poverty. Economic factors that are very worrying for unemployed youth are a problem in getting education and assistance as well as business capital in conducting superior free-range chicken farming. The method used in this service, the methods used in this counseling activity are: 1. Delivering the material that has been prepared with the question and answer method 2. After giving a motivational lecture to deepen the material that has been delivered, it is followed by a discussion on the care of superior free-range chickens 3. Giving business capital in the form of chicken seeds, feed vaccines and medicines for the treatment of superior native chickens, 4. provide training on how to ferment bran feed. The results obtained in this service are through mentoring, providing business capital and training for young people to have skills and knowledge about superior free-range chickens so that they can reduce the number of unemployed by starting a business of raising superior free-range chickens and creating jobs for themselves. Upgrade. The conclusion in this service is that the process of empowering unemployed youth through training assistance and business capital can improve their economic standard and quality of life by pioneering the business of raising superior free-range chickens and being able to assist other youths in raising superior free-range chickens.Keywords: Empowerment, Unemployed Youth, Superior Village Chicken

Abstract

Due to its unique coastal characteristics, the Aroen Meubanja Turtle Conservation Area in Aceh Jaya has significant potential as a nesting site for sea turtles. This study analysed the area's sand grain size and characteristics to determine its suitability for turtle nesting. The research was conducted in March 2024, with sand samples collected from three stations using purposive random sampling. Laboratory analysis included sieving and sand grain classification based on size and shape using the Wentworth and Powers classifications. The Wentworth scale is used to classify grain size, while the Powers scale assesses the shape and roundness of the grains. The results revealed that over 70% of the sediment in the area consists of very fine sand, which is highly favourable for turtle nesting. The roundness of the sand grains indicates a long transportation process, contributing to their suitability for nesting. Fine sand allows for proper water drainage, preventing waterlogging in nests and maintaining optimal temperatures for egg incubation. Additionally, environmental factors such as beach width, slope, substrate temperature, humidity, and coastal vegetation further enhance the area's potential as a turtle conservation site. This study concludes that the Aroen Meubanja coastal area meets the criteria for an ideal turtle nesting habitat. Recommendations include habitat management, community education, and further research to ensure sustainable conservation efforts

Abstract

This study aims to assess how well the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) method has helped fourth grade students at SD Negeri 060910 Medan Denai understand about Indonesian Cultural Wealth. Twenty-five students participated in a Classroom Action Research (CAR) project consisting of two parts. In order to make the information more relevant and contextual for the students, the CRT approach incorporated local cultural components into the learning process. The completion rate of the study participants increased from 64% in the first cycle to 89% in the second cycle. Not only did the students' cognitive abilities improve, but their engagement and appreciation for cultural diversity also increased. The CRT method has succeeded in developing the students' personalities in a way that respects their culture and national identity while also fostering a friendly and stimulating environment for all students.

Abstract

Pada abad ke-10 Masehi, Andalusia (Spanyol Modern) berada di bawah pemerintahan Khalifah Al-Hakam Al-Mustanshir (961-976 M). Masa ini dikenal seabagai “Zaman Keemasan Islam” di Andalusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap peran Khalifah Al-Hakam Al-Mustanshir dalam perkembangan pendidikan dan kehidupan intelektual di Andalusia di masa pemerintahannya. Al-Hakam seorang negarawan cendekiawan yang sangat konsen terhadap dunia pendidikan dan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Untuk merealisasikan misinya tesebut dia melakukan beberapa kebijakan, yaitu: pengembangan perpustakaan, pendidikan gratis, pengembangan kurikulum, pengajian kitab, pengembangan uiversitas. Kebijakan Al-Hakam tersebut berdampak pada: meningkatnya kesadaran intelektual Masyarakat, perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, pengaruh terhadap perkembangan zpendidkan di Eropa.
