Abstract

This research uses a quantitative research approach, using the independent variables price and religiosity, while the dependent variable is students' purchasing decisions. The results of this research can be concluded that there is a partial influence on the price variable (X1) on students' decisions (Y) on student decision variables in purchasing cosmetic products labeled halal. Meanwhile, simultaneously the variable price (X1) and religiosity (X2) on the decision variable (Y) of students in purchasing cosmetic products labeled halal have a significant influence. With a coefficient of determination (R Square) value of 0.553, this means that the variables price (X1) and religiosity (X2) influence students' decisions (Y) in purchasing cosmetic products labeled halal by 55.3% and the remainder is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Shopee memiliki tingkat tertinggi pada marketplace online bukan tanpa alasan, banyak faktor yang membedakan shopee dengan marketplace lainnya. Shopee sudah menjadi tempat yang sangat terpercaya oleh masyarakat, bahkan beberapa brand ternama menggunakan marketplace shopee untuk menjadi salah satu tempat jual beli online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberpengaruh apakah produk dan layanan terhapadap keputusan pembelian konsumen pada marketplace Shopee. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan cara membagikan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk, fitur dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan dan keputusan pembelian pada konsumen sangat berpengaruh, ini dapat dibuktikan pada tanggapan yang diberikan konsumen marketplace pada kuesioner yang telah di sebarkan.

Abstract

The Anak Dalam Tribe (SAD) is a remote traditional community in Jambi Province, spread across several districts, sub-districts and villages, one of which is at Dwi Karya Bhakti Village, Bungo Regency. Health is still a problem in the SAD community, especially nutritional problems such as stunting, malnutrition and anemia. Posyandu is an effective effort to improve community-based health. However, the SAD community needs assistance, through Posyandu which is specifically designed and adapted to the basic capabilities and limited conditions of this community. The aim of the activity was to provide educational assistance in preparing a balanced nutritional menu for the SAD community in Dwi Karya Bhakti Village, Bungo Regency. This activity was carried out through comprehensive assistance from the Matching Fund Program SAD CARE For Health Team and by placing 5 students to live in the SAD community with partners for 6 months (July to December 2023). The activity was carried out in several steps, namely approaching traditional leaders, interpersonal assistance for SAD Special Posyandu cadres, nutrition education, and monitoring the growth and development of toddlers and pregnant women. Posyandu cadres are provided with local language educational media prepared by the Team. This educational assistance activity for cadres at the special posyandu for SAD has been carried out well. There has been an increase in knowledge about nutrition and how to prepare a balanced nutritional menu by Posyandu cadres specifically for SAD and also the SAD community, especially mothers of toddlers who come to Posyandu. It is hoped that this activity can contribute to improving the public health of the Anak Dalam Tribe community in Dwi Karya Bhakti Village, Pelepat District, Bungo Regency, resulting in an increase in the nutritional status of toddlers and other family members

Abstract

The incidence of stunting in toddlers is influenced by the health of mothers and prospective mothers (adolescent girls) who are vulnerable groups, especially Chronic Energy Deficiency (CHD). SEZ is still commonly found in women of childbearing age (WUS) and adolescent girls. SMA Negeri 15 Muaro Jambi Regency is located in Mestong District, including rural areas with high stunting rates. This community service was carried out in May-July 2023 with stages, advocay, socialization, nutrition education and measurement of nutritional status (upper arm circumference, weight and height) in 10th and 11th grade adolescent girls totaling 71 people. There are still many students who are at risk of SEZ due to Upper Arm Circumference (LiLA) < 23.5 cm by 43.1%. Quantitative assessment was conducted pre and post-test before and after nutrition education. The average value of knowledge score before education was 4.54 and increased to 7.58 during the post test. The results of the Wilcoxon Test analysis found a value of P = 0.0001 which means that there is an effect of providing nutrition education to adolescent girls at SMA Negeri 15 Muaro Jambi Regency. Providing education about the risk of chronic energy deficiency and anemia has an influence on the level of knowledge of adolescent girls at SMA Negeri 15 Muaro Jambi. It is recommended to apply a balanced nutritional diet and take LiLA measurements in order to prevent SEZ and Anemia.

Abstract

Abstract: Development of a Dental and Oral Health Education Model with an Authoritative Parenting Approach to Prevent Dental Caries in Early Childhood. Objective: This research aims to develop a dental and oral health education model utilizing an authoritative parenting approach to prevent dental caries in early childhood. Methods: This research used Mixed Methods with a research and development (R&D) design adopting the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation). Validation tests were carried out by 2 experts (an expert in the field of dental public health and an expert in the field of early childhood education) and 1 practitioner. Next, one-on-one trials were carried out on 3 mothers who had children aged 3-5 years, small group trials on 9 mothers and their children, field trials on 20 mothers and their children for the intervention group, 20 mothers and their children for the control group. Qualitative data analysis used the Miles-Hubermen analysis technique, quantitative data analysis used the Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney tests. Findings: The design stage yielded a dental and oral health education model employing an authoritative parenting approach to prevent dental caries in early childhood. Results from the development stage, including validation by experts and practitioners, affirm the model's suitability for trial. One-on-one and small group tests indicate that the educational model is engaging and easy to comprehend. The field test results demonstrate a significant impact of the provided educational model on enhancing mother's knowledge, attitudes, and improving OHIS value of their children. Conclusion: The dental and oral health education model, employing an authoritative parenting approach to prevent dental caries in early childhood, is deemed suitable for implementation and proves effective in enhancing mother’s knowledge, attitudes, and OHIS value of their children. Keywords: dental caries, early childhood, educational model.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v14.i1.202417

Abstract

Background : Adolescence is an important stage for starting high-risk behavior, including in the realm of sexuality. Race or ethnicity is an important factor related to sexual behavior. Perpose: to evaluate the behavior of adolescents in engaging in high-risk sex from the perspective of their respective ethnic cultures. Methods : This systematic review followed the 2020 version of the PRISMA guidelines. The initial search was conducted from April to June 2023. Search sources from 4 databases, using 5 keywords: adolescent, sexual behaviour, high-risk behaviour, sexual risk, and reproductive behaviour. Criteria: observational study, using English, 2000 to 2023, school adolescent population. There were 1,492 papers found after searching the database. The systematic review contained the final 11 research following screening and eligibility determination. Results : Overall, high-risk sexual behavior appears to demonstrate no significant differences among Latino, Hispanic, European, and American adolescents. However, in Asia, pre-marital sex remains highly stigmatized in contrast to its acceptance in Europe and America. Acculturation emerges as a critical predictor contributing to increased high-risk sexual behavior. In Latin adolescents, a lack of compliance with family ties (Familismo) strongly correlates with high-risk sexual behavior. Moreover, in Hispanic adolescents, paternal discipline seems to have a greater association with high-risk sexual behavior compared to maternal discipline. Notably, there were no discernible differences among ethnicities concerning gender, indicating that males across these groups were more prone to engaging in high-risk sexual behavior. Conclusion. Sex education is a prevalent topic among Western societies, primarily aimed at curbing unsafe sexual behavior to prevent venereal diseases. In contrast, Asian cultures still regard sex education as taboo, placing emphasis on preventing extramarital sexual activity.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Acute respiratory infection (ARI) is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in children under five worldwide. ARI is responsible for nearly 20% of all under-five deaths. ARI remains a public health problem in Indonesia, including in Jambi City. ARI is one of the most frequent reasons for healthcare visits. The prevalence of ARI in Jambi City in 2021 was 16.68%, and in 2022 it was 16.63%. Therefore, this study aims to determine the characteristics of patients with ARI in toddlers seeking treatment at Jambi City public health centers. This study was a descriptive study conducted in Jambi City in 2023. The sample in this study were toddlers who suffered from ARI in July 2023 and who sought treatment at all health centers in Jambi City, namely 316 toddlers—sample withdrawal using a simple random sample. Data were analyzed descriptively using frequency distribution. The results showed that most children under five who suffered from ARI were not exclusively breastfed (65.8%), their fathers smoked (68.9%), were exposed to cigarette smoke (often = 21.2% and rarely = 39.9%), were exposed to other smoke (often = 29.1% and rarely = 44.6%), had inadequate housing density (70.3%), had inadequate room ventilation (53.5%), and used mosquito coils (31%). The study also found that there were household members who smoked in the house (49.1%), had KMS but were not filled in regularly (46.8%), and had non-routine growth monitoring (41.8%). Efforts to prevent and control ARI in children under five still need to be improved. Control efforts on child, parent, and environmental factors must be a concern. Keywords: ARI, Toddlers, Descriptive, Respiratory Disease  ABSTRAK Infeksi saluran pernapasan akut (ISPA) merupakan penyebab utama morbiditas dan mortalitas pada balita di dunia. ISPA bertanggung jawab terhadap hampir 20% dari seluruh kematian balita. ISPA juga masih menjadi masalah kesehatan Masyarakat di Indonesia, termasuk di Kota Jambi. ISPA merupakan salah satu alasan yang paling sering terhadap kunjungan ke palayanan kesehatan. Prevalens ISPA di Kota Jambi tahun 2021 sebesar 16,68% dan tahun 2022 sebesar 16,63%. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik penderita ISPA pada balita yang berobat ke puskesmas di Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan studi deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di Kota Jambi tahun 2023. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah anak balita yang menderita ISPA pada bulan Juli 2023 yang berobat di seluruh puskesmas di Kota Jambi, yaitu sebanyak 316 balita. Penarikan sampel dengan menggunakan simple random sample. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa sebagian besar anak balita yang menderita ISPA tidak ASI Eksklusif (65,8%), ayahnya merokok (68,9%), terpapar asap rokok (sering = 21,2% dan jarang = 39,9%), terpapar asap lainnya (sering = 29,1% dan jarang = 44,6%), kepadatan huniannya tidak memenuhi syarat (70,3%), ventilasi kamarnya tidak memenuhi syarat (53,5%), dan menggunakan anti nyamuk bakar (31%). Hasil penelitian juga menemukan bahwa adanya ART yang merokok di dalam rumah (49,1%), memiliki KMS namun tidak diisi secara teratur (46,8%), dan pemantuan pertumbuhan tidak rutin (41,8%). Upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian ISPA pada balita masih perlu ditingkatkan. Upaya pengendalian pada faktor anak, orang tua, maupun faktor lingkungan perlu menjadi perhatian. Kata Kunci: ISPA, Balita, Deskriptif, Penyakit Pernafasan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Project Based Learning model can improve the learning activities of class VIII students in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 07 Bengkulu City. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection techniques by conducting observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses learning activity assessment criteria such as excellent, good, sufficient, less and calculates whether or not there is an increase in student learning activities with the t test.  Based on the results of the study, it is evident from the results of Cycle I that the average student learning activity is only 26.29 with sufficient criteria and the results of Cycle II that the average student learning activity increased to 33.87 with good criteria and the results of the analysis that has been carried out using the t test at a significant level and degrees of freedom 30 show that t count = 6.01 ? t table 1.697 means that there is a significant increase in student learning activities from cycle I to cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can increase student learning activities. The implications may include how this model can improve student learning activities. Recommendations may suggest training for teachers on the use of this model, or further research to test its activities on different groups of students.

Abstract

Bawang Dayak memiliki manfaat untuk mengatasi berbagai penyakit kulit termasuk jerawat (Ardhany et al., 2019). Gel serum mempunyai zat aktif konsentrasi tinggi dan viskositas rendah mudah menyerap pada kulit. Ekstrak etanol bawang Dayak diformulasikan dengan konsentrasi F1 (5%), F2 (10%) dan F3 (15%). Gel serum dibuat dan diujikan karakteristik fisik Hasil pengamatan karakteristik fisik dengan parameter homogenitas, organoleptis, pH, daya debar, daya lekat, dan viskositas telah memenuhi persyaratan sediaan gel serum.

Abstract

Research on the application of al-uqud al-murakkabah contracts in Islamic pawnshops has long been a concern of researchers. However, the research is not specific about the application of al-uqud al-murakkabah in Islamic pawnshops. This research aims to find out the application of al-uqud al-murakkabah in gold pawn products in Islamic pawnshops. The methods used are interview and observation. This research theory uses a normative juridical approach, based on the DSN-MUI fatwa and multi-contract criteria. The results of this study indicate that the application of al-uqud al-murakkabah in gold pawn products in Islamic Pawnshops using three contracts, namely the qard contract, rahn contract, and ijarah contract is in accordance with the DSN-MUI Fatwa. However, the application of the three contracts is not carried out separately, which is contrary to the criteria for multi-contracts that are allowed. This research found indications of combining buying and selling with debt and credit, which is prohibited because combining the two contradicts its character and nature.
