Legal risk management is the key to success for modern companies to continue their business journey. In a business environment that is increasingly complex and strictly regulated by various legal rules, companies need a proactive approach to identify, assess, and manage their legal risks. This research uses the literature review method as its basis. The results show that effective implementation of legal risk management can help companies comply with legal requirements, avoid unnecessary costs, and maintain a good business reputation. In addition, by integrating legal risk management strategies into the overall business strategy, companies are able to focus more on business innovation and growth. Abstract

Digital technologies have transformed the dynamics of social solidarity across the globe. This research examines this transformation in depth, taking into account the challenges and opportunities it creates. The literature review shows that cyberspace has a strong influence in strengthening the bonds of community across borders. Virtual communities of citizens have sprung up with ease, allowing cross-cultural interactions to take place more smoothly. Social networking sites facilitate collaboration and human connection on an unprecedented scale. However, digital porch technology has also created significant problems. One of the main issues relates to the risk of polarization due to automated filtration systems that tend to reinforce one-sided perspectives and "viewpoint overflow". Privacy of personal data and security of personal information are also serious issues, given the large volume of intimate data that users share on various online pages. Disparities in access to digital technology also remain a problem, leaving certain groups isolated from the times.

Abstract

In the context of regional economic development, challenges and opportunities play a vital role in determining the direction of regional progress and growth. Obstacles include limited access to funding, inadequate infrastructure, competition with foreign products, and limited skilled human resources. These obstacles require serious attention from various parties such as the government, the private sector, and the community to find sustainable and effective solutions to overcome these problems. Key strategies include improving the quality of infrastructure, providing better access to funding, and improving education and training to support the development of skilled human resources. A focus on empowering Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), strengthening the competitiveness of local products, and innovation are crucial steps in creating a resilient regional economy. Cooperation between the government and the private sector in creating a conducive business environment is key to supporting sustainable economic growth. Amidst these obstacles, there are many opportunities that can be seized, especially by capitalizing on regional potentials such as unique natural and cultural resources. Development in sectors such as tourism and creative industries can be a key driver for regional economic growth. With the right strategy and strong cooperation between various stakeholders, the regional economy can grow rapidly and make a significant contribution to the welfare of the community, as well as becoming an important pillar for national economic development.

In this context, taxes present a very useful but often underutilized policy tool. The study in this research utilizes a literature review. The results indicate that to maximize the function of taxes in sustainable development, comprehensive tax reforms are needed that include: simplifying the tax system, increasing tax progressivity, strengthening tax administration, and better integration of tax policy with environmental and social policies. In addition, closer international cooperation on taxation, especially to address cross-border issues such as tax avoidance by multinational companies, is also urgently needed.

Abstract

SMEs are the backbone of the economy, but are often negatively impacted by undirected tax policies. In this study, the researcher used the literature research method. The results show that taxes have a significant influence on cash flow and capital availability, which directly affects the ability of SMEs to invest and grow. High tax rates and complex administrative processes are often a major obstacle to the growth of SMEs, reducing their competitiveness in the market, both locally and internationally. In addition, the importance of tax incentives as a policy tool that can encourage SME growth. Incentives in the form of tax deductions, duty exemptions, and simpler tax policies have proven effective in supporting SMEs to expand and increase productivity. Education and socialisation of tax policies are also identified as important factors in improving SMEs' understanding and compliance with tax regulations.

Abstract

Fair and humane labour protection is one of the crucial aspects in ensuring the welfare of workers in Indonesia. Policies developed through the Employment Law No. 13 of 2003 as well as the Job Creation Law, provide a legal framework that aims to ensure the fulfilment of workers' basic rights such as living wages, social security, and a safe working environment. The government has also undertaken various initiatives, including the Pre-Employment Card programme, to improve the quality of life of the workforce. However, there are still many challenges faced in implementing this policy, especially in the informal sector which has not been fully covered by social security and the imbalance in law enforcement. To overcome these obstacles, stricter law enforcement and effective supervision are needed. In addition, the active involvement of all stakeholders-government, private sector, and labour organisations-will be helpful in creating a more inclusive, fair, and safe working environment. Thus, this collaboration is expected to bring positive changes to the welfare of workers in Indonesia, guarantee their rights, and promote sustainable economic development.
