Abstract

The research is based on the current situation in 2026, where digital transformation has reached its peak, where the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation has become the operational standard for organizations. However, the main challenges that arise are the skills gap and cultural resistance within the organization. Human Resource Management (HRM) is required to formulate new strategies to ensure optimal employee performance amidst disruptive technological changes. The purpose of this study is to analyze the most effective HRM strategies for improving employee performance in the era of digital transformation and to identify the determinants that support the successful implementation of technology in people management. Method this study used a qualitative approach with library research. Data were obtained through a literature search related to the study. Data analysis techniques involved data reduction, categorization, and theoretical synthesis to develop a new framework. The research findings indicate four main strategies for improving performance in the digital era: (1) Implementing Data-Driven HR through an AI-based e-HRM system; (2) Continuous competency development through personalized learning (micro-learning); (3) Transforming leadership into adaptive Digital Leadership; and (4) Creating a flexible work culture that prioritizes digital well-being. The synergy between technology and human aspects has proven to be a key factor that significantly increases productivity today. From this research, it can be concluded that digital transformation requires repositioning HR from an administrative function to a strategic partner. Employee performance in this era is highly dependent on an organization's ability to integrate technology into its work culture without neglecting employee mental well-being.

Abstract

Food security in Indonesia’s Underdeveloped, Frontier, and Outermost Regions (3T) is shaped not only by ecological and technical constraints but also by governance capacity. This study examines upland rice production trends in Mahakam Ulu Regency (2018–2023) and evaluates Regent Regulation No. 12 of 2021, which provides incentives to dryland farmers. Using qualitative document analysis of secondary data from statistical reports, government documents, and credible media, the study finds that production has declined due to limited infrastructure, restricted access to inputs, and dependence on external supplies. Incentives have encouraged participation and capacity building but remain constrained by weak institutions and insufficient extension services. The findings highlight a design capacity mismatch in local policy implementation. This study contributes to governance and policy literature by showing how local food initiatives in peripheral regions intersect with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2, SDG 1, SDG 4, SDG 8, and SDG 16. Strengthening institutions and embedding monitoring systems are recommended for sustainable outcomes.

Abstract

Background: Social skills are essential for primary school students, yet few studies have examined the effectiveness of the Shaftel Role-Playing (RPS) model in Physical Education (PE), particularly in Indonesia. Objectives: This study aimed to examine and evaluate the effect of the Shaftel Role-Playing (RPS) model on the development of students’ social skills in Physical Education learning. Methods:  A one-group pretest–posttest design was implemented with 30 sixth-grade students selected through simple random sampling. The RPS intervention was delivered across 12 sessions (70 minutes each). Finding/Results: The analysis revealed a statistically significant improvement in students’ social skills following the implementation of the RPS model (Sig. = 0.013). The intervention demonstrated a medium effect size (Cohen’s d = 0.49), indicating that the model produced a meaningful and practically relevant impact on students’ social skill development. Conclusion: The findings confirm that the Shaftel Role-Playing (RPS) model significantly enhances elementary students’ social skills within Physical Education learning. This result highlights the model’s potential as an effective pedagogical strategy for fostering social competence in school-based contexts, although future studies using controlled designs are recommended to further validate these outcomes.

Abstract

The early stage of marriage is an important developmental phase, as individuals are required to adjust to new roles, responsibilities, and relational dynamics. Emotional maturity is considered a psychological factor that plays a significant role in successful self-adjustment during this period. This study aims to examine the relationship between emotional maturity and self-adjustment in the early stage of marriage. The proposed hypothesis is that there is a positive relationship between emotional maturity and self-adjustment. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The participants were individuals in the early stage of marriage, selected using sampling techniques based on predetermined research criteria. Data were collected using emotional maturity and self-adjustment scales and analyzed using statistical correlation techniques. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between emotional maturity and self-adjustment. These findings emphasize the important role of emotional maturity in supporting successful self-adjustment during the early stage of marriage.

Abstract

This study examines the legal certainty of using electronic documents as evidence in divorce cases through the e-court system at the Barru Religious Court. The research problem lies in the lack of uniformity in the verification process, assessment of authenticity, and evidentiary value of electronic documents submitted by the parties. In divorce cases, electronic documents such as claims, responses, chat records, and other digital files are increasingly used in court proceedings. If this issue remains unresolved, it may lead to legal uncertainty, differences in judges’ assessments, and potential prejudice to the parties in proving their claims. Normatively, the use of electronic documents has a clear legal basis, particularly Article 5 paragraph (1) of the Law on Electronic Information and Transactions, which states that electronic documents and/or their printouts constitute valid legal evidence, as well as Supreme Court Regulation Number 1 of 2019 concerning Electronic Case Administration and Trial Proceedings in Court. This study employs an empirical method with a field approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation at the Barru Religious Court. The results show that electronic documents have been used in e-court practice, but they have not fully provided legal certainty. The main obstacles include doubts regarding document authenticity, the potential for data manipulation, limited digital literacy, and the absence of uniform parameters in judges’ assessment. Therefore, clearer verification standards and improved digital competence of court officials are needed.

Abstract

The Rp250 million per Neighborhood Unit (RT) program in East Kutai Regency represents ultra-micro fiscal decentralization, positioning Neighborhood Units (RTs) as the primary actors in community-based public fund management. This program raises questions regarding the capacity of informal community institutions to implement participatory, accountable, and sustainable development governance. This study employs a mixed-methods approach with a policy evaluation design based on an instrumental case study. Quantitative data were collected through a survey of 400 respondents using proportional cluster sampling across six sub-districts with the highest population density in Kutai Timur Regency. Meanwhile, qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and field observations, and were analyzed using the interactive model by Miles et al. (2014). The research findings indicate that the program has successfully established a relatively substantive bottom-up participation mechanism. A total of 91.7 percent of respondents stated that activity proposals originated with community members, while 97 percent assessed that funds were used transparently. The program also contributed to improvements in environmental infrastructure, strengthened local economic activities through labor-intensive measures, and increased social capital and community cooperation. However, the program still faces challenges regarding sustainability, particularly concerning weak post-project asset maintenance planning, variations in infrastructure quality due to limited technical capacity at the neighborhood unit (RT) level, and coordination among stakeholders that has not yet been optimally institutionalized. These findings indicate that fiscal decentralization at the community level can strengthen local participation and responsiveness, but still requires institutional capacity building and sustainable governance

Abstract

Patient safety is an important component in healthcare, but its implementation in type C hospitals still faces substantial problems due to resources and equipment that do not meet standards. This study aims to analyze the role of digital leadership on patient safety thru the mediation of organizational learning in the context of Complex Adaptive Systems (CAS). This study uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. Data were obtained from 597 healthcare professionals in 24 type C hospitals in South Sumatra using a standardized questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess the direct and indirect associations between variables. The research findings indicate that digital leadership has a substantial positive association with patient safety (β=0.265; p<0.01) and organizational learning (β=0.519; p<0.001). Organizational learning has a significant relationship with patient safety (β=0.608; p<0.001) and plays a major role as a mediator. The indirect contribution of digital leadership thru organizational learning has proven to be broader than its direct contribution. Digital leadership not only serves as the adoption of technology but also as a facilitator of systemic changes that enhance collective learning and organizational resilience. Type C hospitals need to adopt digital leadership as a strategic effort that combines technological, psychological, and cultural variables to build a sustainable safety culture.

Abstract

Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning in elementary schools is still predominantly oriented toward modern sports, resulting in the underutilization of traditional sports as a local culture-based learning medium. In fact, traditional sports have considerable potential to develop fundamental movement skills, foster character development, and preserve local cultural heritage. This study aimed to describe the implementation of traditional sports as a local culture-based learning medium in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning at the elementary school level. The study employed a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were collected from scientific journal articles, books, and relevant policy documents indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, Google Scholar, Crossref, and Garuda databases. Data were gathered through document analysis and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that traditional sports, such as gobak sodor, engklek, bentengan, egrang, bakiak, and tug of war, effectively support the achievement of fundamental movement competencies, enhance physical literacy, improve learning motivation and active participation, and promote character values such as cooperation, sportsmanship, discipline, responsibility, and mutual cooperation. Furthermore, the implementation of traditional sports contributes to the preservation of local culture through contextual and meaningful learning experiences. However, its implementation continues to face challenges, including limited teacher competence, a lack of local culture-based instructional materials, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, strengthening teachers' competencies, developing instructional modules, and providing institutional policy support are essential to ensure the sustainable implementation of traditional sports in elementary school Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning.
