Abstract

Meulaboh, in West Aceh Regency, is one of the areas with potential for landslides. The goal of this research is to identify soil conditions that could lead to landslides based on resistivity data, as well as to analyze the distribution of landslide potential using geospatial data. This research provides benefits to various stakeholders, including the government. It contributes to improved disaster mitigation planning, reduced risk of losses, and the selection of appropriate materials to construct more disaster-resilient infrastructure. The research methods used are 2D resistivity and geospatial methods with weighted overlay analysis. Based on the processing results of 2D resistivity data from profiles 1 and 2, the study area is characterized by silt, sand, and sandstone. The resistivity values of the material in profile 1, identified for silt, range between 1 and 119 Ω.m at depths of 2-59 meters. For sand, the resistivity values range between 120-225 Ω.m at 2-61 meters depths. Sandstone has resistivity values that range between 226-500 Ω.m at depths of 3-62 meters. The resistivity values of the material in profile 2, identified for silt, range between 1-119 Ω.m at depths of 1.5-60 meters. For sand, the resistivity values range between 120-225 Ω.m at 9-59 meters depths. Sandstone has resistivity values that range between 226-500 Ω.m at depths of 15-39.4 meters. The presence of silt (1-119 Ω.m) increases the potential for landslides due to its cohesive nature. Based on the weighted overlay analysis processing results, the study area has a moderate potential for landslides. The study area has characteristics such as a gentle to steep slope (8-45%), a high rainfall rate (2500-3000 mm/yr), a lithology consisting of rocks from the Tutut Formation, including silt, sand, and a small amount of conglomerate, and land that is used for plantations and rice fields.

Abstract

Mathematical modeling is considered an effective tool for analyzing real-life problems. In this research, we analyze the dynamics of the COVID-19 spread in Mataram city using the SIQRD model with influence of the vaccination. The analyze based on varying some parameter values of the model i.e the transmission rate (β), the recovery rate for COVID-19 (γ), and the death rate (δ), before and after vaccination respectively. Our chosen methodology involves parameter estimation using the Euler method. The result shows that the model has an endemic equilibrium point which remains stable before and after vaccination. Furthermore, the basic reproduction number (R0) which states the number of secondary cases that occur if there are infected people in a population, has the value more than 1 before the vaccination, but equal to 1 after the vaccination. This suggests that prior to COVID-19 vaccination, infected individuals could potentially infect more than one person, but after vaccination, each infected person tends to only infect one other individual. This shift is attributed to the subsidence of COVID-19 symptoms following vaccination

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership role of the village head in providing public services and the challenges in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era in Gandasuli Village. Researchers use indicators of motivators, facilitators, and mobilizers to determine the leadership role of the village head in providing public services, while the challenge is that researchers use indicators of support, capacity, and value. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, and the data analysis used is an interactive model starting from reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the leadership role of the village head in providing public services with the roles of motivator, facilitator, and mobilizer has not been maximized. Meanwhile, the challenge of providing public services in Gandasuli Village in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 was sufficient support from the local government, but in terms of capacity, there are not yet qualified human resources. The value will be that there will be benefits for service providers and service recipients in Gandasuli Village when implementing a digital-based service system.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the settlement of disputes over the transfer of property rights to land without a grant deed and to identify the factors that inhibit efforts to resolve such conflicts. This research was conducted using normative-empirical research method using a statutory approach, a conceptual approach, and sociological enforcement. The results of this study show: (1) disputes generally occur because the granting of grants is done orally or only using ordinary letters without legal validity. The absence of a grant deed, as certified by the Official Certifier of Title Deeds (PPAT), renders the ownership status unclear, particularly after the grantor's death. This condition is exacerbated by the low legal awareness of the community and the lack of guidance from related officials; (2) factors inhibiting the settlement of land grant disputes in Lelekaa Village include the community's low understanding of the legality of grant deeds and legal procedures for the transfer of rights. The community tends to rely on oral or written statements without PPAT authorization, which are not legally valid. Other barriers include limited access to legal services, a lack of socialization from the Indonesian National Land Office (BPN) and PPAT, weak village supervision, and the passivity of officials in guiding residents. Irregular documentation and the absence of an ownership database complicate settlements, especially when multiple heirs or overlapping claims are involved.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) management differs significantly from that of Senior High Schools (SMA), particularly in managing technical programs and teacher responsibilities. This study investigates the effects of vocational program management and teacher performance on learning quality in public SMKs in Bireuen Regency, Aceh. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected via surveys from 176 teachers and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results show that both teacher performance and vocational program quality positively and significantly influence learning quality, with teacher performance also exerting an indirect effect. These findings underscore the importance of integrated program planning and teacher development to enhance student learning outcomes in vocational education. The study highlights the need for systemic alignment between program content and educator competencies to support the learning needs of SMK students. While focused on a specific regional context, the findings offer relevant insights for broader vocational education reform initiatives.

Abstract

This study examines Haji Agus Salim's political thinking on the relationship between Islam and the state in Indonesia. This study aims to examine Haji Agus Salim's political thinking on the relationship between Islam and the state in the Indonesian context. The main focus lies in exploring his concept of theo-democracy, which combines Islamic values with the principles of modern democracy in an inclusive and dynamic manner. Haji Agus Salim rejected formal theocracy and viewed the state as a moral and ethical instrument that opens up space for political ijtihad for Muslims in a pluralistic society. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a systematic review method, and utilizes hermeneutic analysis to understand the socio-political context that shaped Agus Salim's thinking. Data were collected through a literature review of relevant primary and secondary documents. The results show that Agus Salim's thinking is contextual, creative, and relevant to address the challenges of the relationship between Islam and the state in various periods of Indonesian history. He also proposed the idea of Islamic socialism as an alternative to capitalism and communism, emphasizing social justice and the welfare of the people. This idea makes an important contribution to the discourse of a democratic, pluralistic, and just state. This study recommends the need for conceptual and implementational deepening of Haji Agus Salim's theo-democratic ideas as a reference in formulating inclusive state policies based on universal Islamic values.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Gorontalo Regency Regional People's Representative Council's (DPRD) oversight of the implementation of the Regional Budget (APBD), using normative and empirical legal methods. Regulatorily, the DPRD possesses formal oversight instruments such as the right of interpellation and working meeting mechanisms. Still, their implementation is often hampered by member capacity, limited resources, local government transparency, and the dominance of political interests. The results of the study indicate that strengthening DPRD capacity, executive transparency, and public participation are crucial to enhancing oversight effectiveness and achieving accountable and responsive regional governance.
