Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of School Environment on Student Learning Motivation at MTs Darun Nahwi Singajaya. The population in this study were 3 teachers and all students totaling 79 people. Sampling used a technique to determine samples from a population that has certain characteristics only. The number of samples set was 38 students. Data collection techniques used were: observation, questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaire data were analyzed using a frequency table. While interview and observation data were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive approach which was analyzed through 3 stages, namely: Data reduction, Data presentation and Data verification. The results showed that the MTs Darun Nahwi school environment influenced student learning motivation. This can be proven from the percentage of influence of school environmental conditions, namely 60.53%, learning facilities 47.37%, learning infrastructure 50.03%, relationships between students 42.13%, relationships with teachers 68.42% and relationships with school staff 52.6%, school atmosphere 52.65%, the role of teachers as motivators in learning activities 73.53%, rules 54.91% and cooperation between teachers 63.16%. The obstacles faced by teachers in increasing student learning motivation are students' attitudes and interests in learning and limited learning facilities and infrastructure. Efforts to overcome obstacles include creating a pleasant learning atmosphere, giving prizes for achievements, implementing the rules as well as possible, optimizing the role of teachers as motivators, cooperation between teachers in improving the quality of learning facilities and infrastructure. The conclusion in this study is that the MTs Darun Nahwi school environment influences student learning motivation, both positive and negative.

Abstract

MAN 4 Aceh Utara students learn a variety of subjects, including lessons to speak Arabic (Kalam). This lesson aims to make students able to speak Arabic properly and correctly. However, in practice, students face many problems and difficulties in Arabic resulting in the learning outcomes that have not reached the cut score (KKM). One of the reasons is that the teacher has not applied a good method and is in accordance with the student's condition, nor is there suitable learning media in learning. Researchers assume that the direct method and Arabiyah Baina Yadai Auladina textbooks can improve the skills of students in speaking. Therefore, Researchers examine the use of Arabiyah Baina Yadai Auladina textbooks with a direct method to increase skills in Arabic speaking (Classroom Action Research in MAN 4 Aceh Utara). The purpose of the research is to determine the implementation of Arabiyah Baina Yadai Auladina textbooks and direct methods to improve the skills of students in Arabic speaking and its effect on students and student responses to this learning. Classroom action research methods are used in this study. Researchers collected data using observations, questionnaires, and tests. Student of first grade who became the subject of research with the 20 students. The results show indicate that the implementation of learning is in accordance with the plan with a percentage of 57.69% (enough) in the first cycle and increased in the second cycle to 92.3% (very good). The ability of students in Arabic speaking increases after the application of this book and method. This is evident from the average score in the first cycle is 57.75 (enough) and in the second cycle increased is 79.25 (very good). The level of improvement in students' abilities or N-GAIN 1.03 is in the high interpretation. And finally, student's responses to this application were positive.

Abstract

As stated by students through the interview they acknowledged the difficulties in learning Arabic such as Qawa'id. Students found difficulty with the use of Isim Dhomir and the difference of Fi'il (verb) as well as the use of Jar and Mubtada Khabar letters while learning Qawa'id. Besides, they also found difficulty in formulating the correct sentences according to Qawaid rules. Based on the experience of the teacher, students’ ability is very lack in mastering the Qawa'id materials. It is shown by the result of the Qawa'id assignments given. Furthermore, the students did not remember what the teacher explained when they were asked back by the teacher. The teacher points out that the students lack the motivation to learn Arabic. This problem will affect students' ability to accept the material. The purpose of this study was to (1) determine the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament model with Kahoot to improve students' ability to Qawa'id Nahwiyyah. (2) to determine the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament model with Kahoot to improve students' ability to Qawa'id Nahwiyyah. (3) Determine the effectiveness of the Qiyasiyyah method with cards to improve students' ability to Qawa'id Nahwiyyah. (4) Knowing the effectiveness of the Qiyasiyyah method with cards to improve students' ability to Qawa'id Nahwiyyah. The research methodology in this thesis is an experimental method with a factorial design (The 2 x 2 Factorial Design). Based on the explanation, the researcher concluded that (1) The application of the team's games tournament model with Kahoot was effective in improving the ability of students (lk) in Qawaid Nahwiyyah. With evidence that the distribution of data is at the signification level of 0.000 ≤ 0.05. (2) Implementation of the team's games tournament model with Kahoot is not effective in improving the ability of students (pr) in Qawaid Nahwiyyah. With evidence that the distribution of data is at the signification level of 0.065 > 0.05. (3) Application of the Qiyasiyyah method with cards effectively to improve the ability of students (lk) to Qawaid Nahwiyyah. With evidence that the distribution of data is at the signification level of 0.015 ≤ 0.05. (4) Application of the Qiyasiyyah method with cards effective to improve the ability of students (pr) in Qawaid Nahwiyyah. With evidence that the distribution of data is at the signification level of 0.004 ≤ 0.05.

Abstract

The researcher has noticed a manifestation of the incident that most teachers from the middle school at the SMP Babul Maghfirah use traditional educational means in the process of teaching Arabic, especially for reading skills, and read and translate the material from the textbook until they need a long opportunity to repeat the reading text, and the text may read a dispute about exits The letters, and on this, it is difficult for students to focus, hear and understand the contents of the reading story what the teacher read from the textbook because many of the students are graduates of the SDN primary school and they did not learn Arabic before, as well as they still do not control the many vocabularies. Therefore, the researcher wants to do research on the development of Reading Subject Matter Based on Interactive Multimedia (Research and Development at SMP Babul Maghfirah in Aceh Besar). The research aims to develop Reading Subject Matter Based on Interactive Multimedia and its effects on students. The research method referred to research and development using the method named ADDIE. The research population includes all students of Babul Maghfirah in Aceh Besar, 28 students from the second grade (D), and 432 students in total. The researcher has conducted interviews, questionnaires, and tests as research tools. This research aims to develop interactive Multimedia that could give more positive benefits to students based on five steps; analysis, design, development, application, and evaluation. As a result, the researcher has successfully created a new interactive Multimedia of reading subject matter. It also has received a positive score, in learning materials and media 100% (Special). The application has effectively contributed to the development of students reading ability based on the calculation (t-test), which is bigger than the table's results (t-table) or 7.76 > 2.05 and 2.77.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi ekonomi hijau dalam perspektif Islam dengan fokus pada kawasan Timur Tengah. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini memanfaatkan data sekunder yang mencakup literatur akademik, dokumen kebijakan, laporan organisasi internasional, dan artikel media. Berdasarkan kajian terhadap prinsip-prinsip Islam yang mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep ekonomi hijau sejalan dengan ajaran Islam, terutama dalam hal tanggung jawab manusia terhadap lingkungan, efisiensi sumber daya, dan keadilan sosial. Selain itu, negara-negara di Timur Tengah, seperti Uni Emirat Arab, Arab Saudi, dan Qatar, telah mengadopsi kebijakan dan strategi nasional yang mendukung transisi menuju ekonomi hijau, seperti UAE Energy Strategy 2050, Saudi Vision 2030, dan Qatar National Vision 2030. Meskipun demikian, tantangan seperti ketergantungan pada sektor minyak dan gas, kesenjangan infrastruktur hijau, serta implementasi kebijakan yang tidak merata masih menjadi hambatan. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi peluang strategis, seperti potensi sumber daya alam dan dukungan internasional, yang dapat mempercepat penerapan ekonomi hijau di kawasan ini. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan diversifikasi ekonomi, penguatan infrastruktur hijau, pemberdayaan masyarakat, dan pemantauan kebijakan yang lebih efektif untuk mempercepat transisi ke ekonomi hijau yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan remaja desa melalui pelatihan pembuatan konten digital dan website portofolio pribadi sebagai upaya meningkatkan literasi digital, personal branding, dan kemandirian digital. Bertempat di PIK-R MAN 2 Makassar, pelatihan ini melibatkan 25 peserta remaja dan dilaksanakan dalam dua hari dengan pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif. Kegiatan mencakup materi literasi digital dasar, praktik pembuatan konten (video, infografis, storytelling), serta pelatihan pembuatan website portofolio menggunakan platform gratis.Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dari aspek pemahaman literasi digital peserta, yang ditunjukkan melalui perbandingan skor pre-test dan post-test. Selain itu, peserta berhasil membuat konten digital kreatif dan sebanyak 72% mampu menyusun serta mempublikasikan website portofolio pribadi secara mandiri. Tidak kalah penting, pelatihan ini juga mendorong peningkatan kepercayaan diri dan kemandirian digital peserta. Hal ini terlihat dari partisipasi aktif dalam diskusi, keberanian mempresentasikan karya, serta peningkatan keberanian untuk mengekspresikan diri melalui media daring.Pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa remaja desa memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan literasi digital apabila diberikan ruang, akses, dan bimbingan yang tepat. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga memperkuat karakter peserta dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan serupa sangat direkomendasikan untuk direplikasi di komunitas remaja lainnya sebagai bagian dari strategi pemberdayaan digital berbasis komunitas dan pendidikan.

Abstract

The development of construction materials is currently very rapid, including in the manufacture of fishing boats that still use wood. As an alternative, High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic can replace wood because of its various advantages. The process of making fishing boats uses the plastic welding method, where the material is heated close to the melting temperature with a welding gun. The welding rod melts due to heat and is pressed continuously while the welding gun moves backward. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in the hot gas welding process on mechanical tests, especially bending tests on plastic welding joints. The two independent variables used are the hot gun temperature (250°C, 300°C, and 350°C) and the V bevel angle (60°, 75°, and 90°). The five controlled variables include the anvil temperature of 150°C, 3,2 mm thick HDPE plastic sheet, hot gas speed welding method, 5 mm diameter HDPE plastic additives, 7 liters/minute air flow rate, 1.2 mm/s welding speed, and 2 mm root gap. The research results are expected to obtain the maximum value of the bending test strength from the interaction of hot gun temperature variations and V-beam angles, as well as being a reference in making fishing boat bodies from HDPE using the hot gas welding method.

Abstract

This study aims to examine one of the disciplines of Islamic law, namely the pricing mechanism from the perspective of Imam Al-Ghazali, in order to create a healthy market environment free from monopolistic practices and manipulation, and aligned with Sharia principles. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a literature study method by reviewing various relevant books, classical texts, articles, and academic journals related to Islamic economics and Imam Al-Ghazali’s thought. The findings indicate that the concept of fair pricing is not solely dependent on the interaction between supply and demand, but must also consider moral and social dimensions, such as justice, honesty, and public welfare. Imam Al-Ghazali strongly emphasized that economic transactions should uphold ethical standards and social responsibility to prevent exploitation and inequality. He argued that pricing must reflect not only market dynamics but also the broader ethical framework rooted in Islamic values. Furthermore, the study explores the concept of economic equilibrium in relation to pricing mechanisms, where prices should ideally balance individual interests with communal welfare. The research also discusses the correlation between economic balance and price-setting policies, including the views of other classical and contemporary Islamic scholars. It is found that state intervention is permissible in certain conditions—particularly when market mechanisms fail to ensure fairness—thus justifying government roles in market supervision and price stabilization. One of the key concepts in Islamic economics is the notion of a just price (al-thaman al-‘adl), as emphasized by Imam Al-Ghazali.. This study concludes that understanding pricing from Al-Ghazali’s perspective offers valuable insights for building ethical and socially responsible economic systems aligned with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This article aims to describe and analyze in depth the strategies for internalizing religious moderation in shaping students' nationalist character. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. The study was conducted at MTs. Raudlatul Hasaniyah Mojolegi Gading from January to May 2025. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the strategies for internalizing religious moderation in shaping students' nationalist character at MTs. Raudlatul Hasaniyah Mojolegi Gading include the integration of religious moderation values in Aswaja and Civics (PPKN) lessons, religious moderation seminars on national and civic life, the commemoration of Independence Day and National Santri Day (HSN), the exemplary role modeling of moderate-nationalist teachers, and participation in flag ceremony activities.

Abstract

Abstract The statement says that the hijab was an obstacle to women's development during colonialism in Egypt sparked a long discussion about the wearing of the hijab at that time, especially after Qasim Amin conveyed it in his book entitled Tahrīr al-Mar'ah (1899). On the other hand, the hijab also paved the way for the emergence of feminist discourse among Egyptian society. This article discusses the hijab discourse in interpretation (tafsīr) in Egypt after the controversy caused by the publication of Qasim Amin's book. This research shows that there are two conflicting tendencies of thinking about women, especially in the wearing of hijab. The first group thinks that the hijab is a barrier to women's development. While the second group considers the hijab is not a determining factor for women's progress. This tendency has genealogical roots to imperialism in Egypt. Using Miriam Cooke's theory of feminism which does not only refer to feminist actions and activism, but also thoughts and seeks to change perceptions of women's social roles and responsibilities, this article analyse at how the hijab discourse in two interpretations published after Tahrīr al-Mar'ah, each written by an Egyptian feminist woman. Focusing on two tafsir, namely al-Sufūr wa al-Hijāb written by Nazirah Zainuddin (1928) and Nazarāt fī Kitābillah written by Zaynab Ghazali (1994), this article elaborates on the verses of the hijab which are interpreted in these two books and sees that – to borrow Amina Wadud's term – prior text cannot be separated from the mufassir. This article concludes that the interpretation carried out by the two women bring the ideology of the feminist groups of the two interpreters, namely the Egyptian Feminist Union (EFU) and the Muslim Ladies Association (MLA). In a broader scope, this also cannot be separated from the history of British imperialism in Egypt, along with the discourse of feminism brought by the imperialists.
