Abstract

This research focuses on applying active learning methods to overcome student burnout in Islamic religious education in madrasahs. The main objective of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of project-based Learning, role-playing and simulation, problem-based Learning, and collaborative activities in increasing student motivation, engagement, and skill development. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with students, teachers, and school principals at Madrasah Ibtida'iyah Negeri 3 Banyuwangi and direct observations in the classroom. The research results show that active learning methods significantly reduce student burnout and increase their motivation and involvement in the learning process. Project-based learning helps students relate theory to actual practice, while role-playing and simulations enrich their learning experience. Problem-based learning encourages students to think critically and analytically, while collaborative activities strengthen students' cooperation and social skills. These findings confirm that active learning methods can effectively improve the quality of Islamic religious education in madrasahs. The implication of this research is the need to integrate active learning methods in the madrasa curriculum to create a more dynamic learning environment and support student welfare. This research also underscores the importance of developing more inclusive and evidence-based education policies to comprehensively accommodate students' needs and potential.

Abstract

This article explores integrating transformational leadership in educational settings, focusing on balancing accountability with innovation while fostering sustainability and global citizenship. The primary objective is to develop a theoretical framework that illustrates how academic leaders can effectively align these elements to enhance student outcomes and community engagement. A qualitative research design was employed, incorporating a literature review and case studies of five exemplary schools. The findings revealed that successful transformational leadership involves redefining accountability, promoting innovative teaching practices and embedding global citizenship into the curriculum. Key challenges include resistance to change, balancing assessment pressures and ensuring adequate professional development. However, schools implementing these strategies report can improve student engagement, academic performance, and community involvement. In conclusion, transformational leadership is essential for navigating the complexities of modern education. It empowers schools to thrive amidst accountability demands while fostering innovation and global awareness. The article recommends that educational leaders prioritise flexible assessment methods, invest in continuous professional development, and build strong community partnerships to sustain these initiatives. By adopting this comprehensive approach, schools can better prepare students to become responsible and engaged citizens in an increasingly interconnected world.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand how the learning process occurs in the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School environment through social interaction. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive type. as for the informants of this study consisted of santri, teachers, kyai. the data collection technique used interviews, participatory observation and documentation study. data analysis used in this research is hubermen analysis which consists of several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that Learning Through Observation which consists of Learning Through the Process of Paying Attention, Learning Through the Process of Remembering, Learning Through the Process of Production, Learning Through the Process of Motivation, Application of Social Learning Principles in Pesantren. Sharpening Social Skills, Fostering Tolerance and Harmony, Instilling Ethics and Morals, Encouraging Collaborative Learning, Providing Valuable Life Experience research provides an impact or implication in relation to social interaction among students.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the optimization of local-oriented Islamic jurisprudence education to improve higher order thinking skills in Madrasas. This research uses a qualitative case study type approach. The research subjects consisted ofHead of Madrasah, Deputy Head of Madrasah, Subject Teachers and students. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that Optimizing local-oriented Islamic jurisprudence education has indicatorsto achieve it Higher order thinking skills in Madrasas include,integration of local context, interactive learning, collaborative problem solving and critical literacy development. By integrating the local context in fiqh learning, students can more easily understand the material and are able to develop analytical, evaluation skills and create solutions to related problems. Implementation of locally based learning also increases active student participation and makes learning more meaningful. Thus, this research provides important implications for curriculum development and teaching strategies at Madrasah Aliyah, especially in order to increase students' HOTS through approaches that are relevant to their surrounding environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teacher competence in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Genteng district. This research is based on the importance of teachers' competence in delivering Islamic religious teaching materials effectively and applicatively in daily life, as well as various challenges faced by teachers, including the diversity of students' social and cultural backgrounds, limited resources, and changes in social dynamics. The research method used is a qualitative approach with the type of case study, involving in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the research show that understanding of student needs, the application of active learning approaches, character development and moral values, and continuous professional development are key factors in improving the quality of teaching. It is expected to provide an implementation model that can be adopted by other educational institutions to improve teacher competence and, in turn, the quality of learning, which has a positive impact on students' academic and moral development.

Abstract

This research aims to examine how the Merdeka Curriculum can be implemented at Madrasah to improve student's critical thinking skills without sacrificing Islamic religious education, where this research can make a significant contribution to curriculum development at Madrasah and enrich academic literature on education religion and 21st-century skills. This research uses qualitative with case study. Data collection techniques are through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis includes identifying patterns, themes, and nuances from interviews and observations. The research results show that several things can be implemented several things can be implemented in developing an independent curriculum for madrasas. First, develop material that stimulates critical thinking by connecting theory with everyday situations relevant to students. Second, project-based activities involve students actively in the learning process, where they receive information passively and participate actively in knowledge creation. Third, critical thinking in a spiritual context encourages students to accept religious teachings passively and question and understand more profound meanings. Fourth, Self-Reflection and Metacognition can strengthen students' understanding of the material studied.

Abstract

This study describes parental involvement in overcoming learning disorders at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. In overcoming learning difficulties (concentration) experienced by students, it is closely related to the role of parents and the surrounding environment. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. There were eight informants in this study, consisting of principals, teachers, parents, and students who were experiencing learning disorders. Data analysis is data collection, condensation, display, and conclusions. The results of the research obtained are that there are six forms of parental involvement carried out by parents of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students in overcoming their child's learning disorder, including (1) Giving More Attention, (2) Cooperation with the School, (3) Enthusiasm for School Programs, (4) Assisting children in doing school assignments at home, (5) Updates on Child Development Information, (6) and Facilitating tutoring at home.

Abstract

This study explores Islamic boarding schools' (pesantren) inbound marketing reputation-building, which focuses on content that is relevant, interesting and of high value to influence public perception. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, accurate documentation, and researcher observations at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School. This study reveals four research findings: first Attract, second Convert, third Close, and fourth Delight in implementing inbound marketing at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School. From this research, the inbound marketing strategy of Nurul Jadid has a positive impact on public perception of it. By providing relevant and high-quality content, Islamic boarding schools can build better community relationships and a strong reputation in the current technological era. They are expected to be able to produce educational content, such as articles and videos, which can influence public perception. Through social media, websites and other digital platforms, Islamic boarding schools can build active and positive online communities. With consistency in conveying Islamic boarding school messages and values, public perception will become better and more inclusive. This research can provide valuable insight for traditional Islamic educational institutions in utilizing modern marketing techniques, such as inbound marketing, to develop the reputation of Islamic boarding schools in the digital era. Apart from that, the results of this research can also contribute to the literature on marketing strategies in the educational context.

Abstract

AbstractThis article presents the role of STIFIn method as an intelligence machine for enhancing children's intelligence potential as learning innovation in pesantren. This method is a new learning innovation, developed by pesantren to find genetic potential or intelligence machine that exists in each santri through STIFIn test by scanning on the ten fingers. Strokes or fingerprint data are processed by a computer application to determine the hemisphere and dominant brain layer, and those are; Sensing, thinking, intuiting, feeling and instinct. By that, studies learning style can be found, so it is easy for enhancing children's intelligence in pesantren. This study adopts a qualitative research approach and uses a case study design with a multi-site approach. The study show that the strategiys carried out by educators at the three pesantren for enhancing santri intelligence potential through the STIFIn intelligence engine can be mapped as follows: my rival is my teacher, road to victory, the power of dream, a tribute to other, one step closer.AbstrakTulisan ini menyajikan tentang strategi metode STIFIn sebagai mesin kecerdasan dalam meningkatkan potensi kecerdasan anak sebagai bagian dari inovasi pendidikan di pondok pesantren. Metode ini merupakan inovasi baru dalam pembelajaran, yang dikembangkan oleh pesantren untuk mengenali potensi genetik atau mesin kecerdasan yang ada pada setiap individu santri melalui tes STIFIn, yaitu dengan melakukan scan pada sepuluh jari. Data guratan atau sidik jari diolah oleh aplikasi komputer untuk menentukan belahan dan lapisan otak dominan, yaitu; sensing, thingking, intuiting, feeling dan insting. Dengan begitu, akan ditemukan gaya dan tipe belajar siswa, sehingga mudah untuk ditingkatkan kecerdasannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif jenis studi kasus dengan pendekatan multi situs. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, educational innovation, and local wisdom on strengthening the reputation of Islamic boarding schools. This study tests four hypotheses related to the impact of these variables on the reputation of Islamic boarding schools. The first hypothesis tests the positive influence of leadership (X1) on strengthening the reputation of Islamic boarding schools (Y), the second hypothesis tests the positive influence of educational innovation (X2) on strengthening the reputation of Islamic boarding schools (Y), the third hypothesis tests the positive influence of local wisdom (X3) on strengthening the reputation of Islamic boarding schools (Y), and the fourth hypothesis tests the positive influence of leadership, educational innovation, and local wisdom simultaneously on strengthening the reputation of Islamic boarding schools. Data were collected through questionnaires with a sample of 260 respondents and analyzed using simple regression tests and multiple regression with the help of the SPSS Statistics program. The results of the study showed that leadership (X1) had a significant positive effect with a t-value of 13.083 and a p-value of 0.000, educational innovation (X2) had a significant positive effect with a t-value of 7.927 and a p-value of 0.000, and local wisdom (X3) had a significant positive effect with a t-value of 8.927 and a p-value of 0.000. In addition, the results of the multiple regression test showed that the three variables had a significant positive effect simultaneously on strengthening the reputation of Islamic boarding schools, with t-values for leadership (5.916), educational innovation (2.285), and local wisdom (2.825), and p-values of 0.000, 0.035, and 0.055, respectively. Overall, these three factors implies greatly to strengthening the reputation of Islamic boarding schools, which is important for the continuity and development of Islamic boarding schools in the future.
