Abstract

This study explores the integration of digital learning into the Islamic Religious Education (IRE) curriculum, focusing on the challenges and opportunities presented by this process. The main issue addressed is the slow adoption of digital tools in Islamic education, despite the growing reliance on technology in other educational sectors. The objective of this research is to examine how digital learning can enhance student engagement, accessibility, and interactivity in IRE, while maintaining the integrity of Islamic teachings. The study uses a library research method, collecting data from relevant books, journal articles, and previous studies related to digital learning and Islamic education. The findings reveal that digital tools can significantly improve the learning experience by offering interactive content, personalized learning paths, and access to educational resources beyond traditional classrooms. However, challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, resistance to change from educators, and concerns over preserving the spiritual aspects of Islamic education are identified. The research concludes that, while the integration of digital learning into IRE offers considerable benefits, overcoming these challenges is essential for its successful implementation. Recommendations include investing in infrastructure, providing teacher training, and ensuring the alignment of digital tools with Islamic educational values

Abstract

Curriculum management is one aspect that influences the success of learning in educational institutions. This research aims to identify the planning, implementation, organization and management control of Islamic boarding school curriculum development at the Daarut Tauhiid Islamic Boarding School. This research uses a qualitative approach. Research data was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. To find out that the data collected in this research was correct, a data validity test was carried out using triangulation techniques. The research conducted shows that management of the Islamic boarding school curriculum at the Daarut Tauhiid Islamic Boarding School is carried out systematically through four main stages: planning, organizing, implementing and controlling. In planning, a workshop was carried out by the quality standards development team (TPSM) with the assistance of expert consultants, the results of which were agreed upon by the school principal. Organizing was carried out by forming a TPSM to supervise curriculum implementation. Implementation is carried out through pre-processal, processional and evaluation stages. Control is carried out by direct supervision, unannounced inspections, periodic briefings, as well as evaluation of learning outcomes by musyrif through exams.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept, objectives, functions, and strategic role of human resource planning in educational implementation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design through a literature review method. Data were collected from books, scientific journal articles, and relevant policy documents, then analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques. The results show that human resource planning is a strategic component in educational management that ensures the availability of qualified teaching and educational personnel in accordance with institutional needs. The process includes several interconnected stages, such as needs analysis, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluation. Effective planning can prevent mismatches between workforce availability and institutional demands, improve personnel professionalism, and enhance the effectiveness of educational management. Furthermore, human resource planning should not be viewed merely as an administrative activity but must be integrated with the vision, mission, and strategic development of educational institutions. Therefore, systematic and long-term oriented human resource planning is essential to improve educational quality and achieve national education goals.

Abstract

Abstract

The main challenge of Islamic Education Management (IEM) today lies in the stagnation of financing innovation, which still relies on conventional schemes and remains highly dependent on government support. This condition has an impact on limited space for innovation, low flexibility in budget management, and minimal transparency and accountability in the financial governance of Islamic educational institutions. This study aims to deconstruct the strategic planning framework for Islamic education financing by integrating the Smart Transparency approach as a basis for adaptive financial governance in the context of digital transformation. The study uses a qualitative method, with a literature-based case study approach, to critically analyse various education financing management models and digital governance practices in the public sector. The results show that the effectiveness of financing Islamic educational institutions is largely determined by two main factors: the digitalization of the financial governance system and the diversification of non-governmental funding sources, including Islamic philanthropy, strategic partnerships, and educational entrepreneurial innovation. The novelty of this study lies in the formulation of the Digital Fiscal Accountability (DFA) model that integrates digital transparency, technology-based financial reporting, and participatory control mechanisms as a preventive strategy to minimize budget inefficiency and strengthen public accountability in the management of Islamic education financing.

Abstract

In the contemporary era, modern educational systems are heavily challenged by a utilitarian paradigm that overemphasizes cognitive and technical achievements, leading to a pervasive dichotomy of knowledge and moral degradation among students. This study aims to address these deficiencies by reconstructing the fundamental philosophy of education through a systematic conceptual synthesis. Employing a qualitative method with a library research approach, this study critically analyzes authoritative texts specifically focusing on the seminal works of Ramayulis and Abuddin Nata as primary benchmarks to establish rigorous conceptual criteria for educational philosophy. The findings introduce a novel, three tiered integrative matrix that redefines the relationship between general thought and educational policy. In this hierarchical framework: (a) General Philosophy serves as the foundational baseline for critical thinking; (b) Philosophy of Education operates as the functional instrument for curriculum development; and (c) Islamic Philosophy of Education acts as the overarching transcendental value system that anchors the ultimate goals of education. By shifting the paradigm from a purely rational-empirical domain to a comprehensive framework that integrates divine revelation, reason, and human experience, this model offers a distinct methodology to reconstruct the concepts of Insan Kamil and Ulul Albab within modern schools. This study concludes that the three tiered model provides a robust, non-dichotomous framework necessary to cultivate an education system that balances intellectual competence with profound spiritual and character development.

Abstract

The management of School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds in madrasahs plays a crucial role in supporting educational operations and improving quality. However, various field findings indicate ongoing inefficiencies, lack of transparency, and weak internal control systems in the management of these funds. This background highlights the need for a critical examination of the role of internal audit in the financial governance system of madrasahs, particularly from the perspective of Islamic educational management, which emphasizes accountability, trustworthiness (amanah), and integrity. This study aims to answer the central question: What is the role and urgency of internal audit in managing BOS funds in madrasahs from the perspective of Islamic educational management? The method used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach, analyzing national and international literature related to internal audits, BOS fund governance, and Islamic management principles. The findings indicate that internal audits, when professionally designed and implemented in alignment with Islamic values, can significantly enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in the management of BOS funds. Moreover, the application of value-based Islamic internal audits positively contributes to strengthening financial ethics and increasing public trust in madrasahs. This study offers a conceptual contribution to enriching the literature on Islamic educational management and serves as a strategic reference for policymakers and madrasah administrators.
