Abstract

Objective: This study examines the influence of organizational psychology on work culture at MTsN 1 Sumedang, focusing on motivation, communication, conflict management, and leadership within an Islamic educational context. Methods: A qualitative case study approach was employed, using purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with a senior teacher (Ibu Eva), participant observation, and documentation analysis, then analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña’s interactive model. Results: The findings reveal that although the term "organizational psychology" is not formally recognized, its core principles are organically integrated into daily management practices. A healthy, non-toxic work environment, mutual support among colleagues, periodic appreciation programs, and spiritual routines such as communal prayers and monthly religious gatherings significantly enhance teacher motivation and well-being. Novelty: This research contributes a contextual model demonstrating how modern organizational psychology principles such as intrinsic motivation, collaborative communication, and participative leadership can be authentically integrated with Islamic educational management principles like itqan (professionalism), syura (consultation), and amanah (trustworthiness).

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the organizational culture based on Islamic values and identify the challenges and strategies for its development. The problem addressed is the need to strengthen and optimize the implementation of Islamic-based organizational culture in madrasahs to improve the performance of educators and create a harmonious work environment. This research utilizes a qualitative descriptive method by case-study design through interviews, observations, and document analysis to provide a comprehensive picture of the institution’s values, work practices, communication patterns, and policies. The locus of this research is at at MTs As-Sakinah Cirinu Garut. The research findings reveal that the organizational culture in this madrasah is founded on Islamic values such as Shidiq, Amanah, Istiqamah, Tabligh, and Fathanah, which are reflected in practices of transparency, discipline, cooperation, and teacher professionalism. However, challenges in implementing Islamic culture include resistance to change, differing interpretations of values among teachers, and ineffective internal communication. The study also indicates that the organizational culture has a positive influence on educator performance and the harmonization of the work environment. It was found that the integration of Islamic values into the school culture fosters a supportive atmosphere for collaboration and growth among the staff. Furthermore, there is a clear connection between the values promoted by the school and improved student outcomes, demonstrating the significance of a strong cultural foundation in education. Future research is recommended to explore the involvement of parents and the broader community as supporting factors in strengthening Islamic organizational culture in madrasah.

Abstract

The management of educational facilities and infrastructure is a crucial determinant of service quality and institutional strengthening in Early Childhood Education (ECE). A common challenge faced by many ECE institutions, including RA Hidayatut Tauhid Nagreg, is the absence of strategic, systematic, and value-based facility management, which limits the optimal utilization of existing resources in supporting sustainable learning and institutional development. This study aims to analyze and formulate a strategic model of facilities and infrastructure management grounded in the principles of Islamic Education Management (IEM) to strengthen the institutional capacity of ECE at RA Hidayatut Tauhid Nagreg. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, utilizing in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis as data collection techniques. Data were analyzed using an interactive qualitative model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that although RA Hidayatut Tauhid Nagreg possesses relatively adequate facilities and infrastructure to support early childhood learning, their management remains predominantly operational rather than strategic, particularly in planning, inventory systems, maintenance, and stakeholder involvement. The study concludes that institutional strengthening in ECE can be achieved through optimizing facilities and infrastructure management integrated with IEM principles, enabling educational facilities to function not only as technical resources but also as strategic instruments for institutional sustainability and improved quality of early childhood education services.

Abstract

This study is inspired by the potency of positive school culture in enhancing education quality, especially within the madrasah environment. A strong school culture has been considered crucial, but efforts toward strong strategic management to support the school culture still face many challenges. Among the most urgent issues are adjustments to the constantly evolving standards for accreditation, such as the 2020 Accreditation Certification Tool. The present study analyzes how strategic management influences the school culture to achieve standards in MIN Bandung. This case study, using a qualitative approach, has collected data through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using thematic techniques in identifying management patterns that support school culture. It is observed that MIN Bandung can instill into the culture the values of honesty, cooperation, and compassion, so that student motivation positively influences performance. On the contrary, what needs to be faced in the current era is the sustainability of value implementation and resource limitation. The conclusion suggests that the strategy should become more adaptive and holistic to be compatible with the 2020 accreditation standards. Keywords: Strategic management, school culture, accreditation.

Abstract

Gender inequality continues to shape Islamic education in Indonesia, particularly through curriculum, pedagogy, and institutional practices that reproduce patriarchal norms. This study aims to examine the conceptual foundations, challenges, and strategic frameworks for integrating gender-responsive values into the Islamic Education Curriculum and to identify their theoretical and practical implications. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research draws on an extensive literature review of classical and contemporary Islamic scholarship, peer-reviewed studies, and national education policies. Thematic analysis highlights key obstacles, including limited educator competence, gender-biased learning materials, and insufficient institutional support, while identifying strategies such as curriculum redesign, gender-sensitive pedagogy, and the effective use of digital and traditional media to challenge stereotypes. The findings reveal that integrating gender values requires not only curricular reform but also a broader epistemological transformation within Islamic education. This study proposes a multidimensional framework for gender-responsive curriculum development. It offers evidence-based recommendations for policymakers, educators, and curriculum developers to promote gender equity across Islamic educational settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Madrasah Digital Report Card (RDM) at MA Al-Wathoniyah 5 in order to improve the efficiency and quality of education administration management. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through documentation and interviews, which are analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that RDM facilitates the management of grades, student attendance, and reporting in accordance with the Ministry of Religious Affairs standards. The automatic validation feature and account-based access control ensure data accuracy and security. Implementation constraints, such as limited budget and internet access, were overcome through a shared commitment between teachers, administrative staff and the foundation, as well as regular training and internal fundraising. The planned integration of RDM with other management systems, such as finance and student attendance, as well as the increased capacity of the local server, reflects the madrasah's vision to build a comprehensive and sustainable information system. In conclusion, RDM not only improves administrative efficiency but also becomes a relevant model of technological innovation in madrasah education.
