Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode dan konsentrasi bahan pengawet Crown 100 EC dalam pengawetan kayu Sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria (L) Nielsen) terhadap nilai retensi dan ketahanannya terhadap rayap tanah (Subterranean termites). Seluruh data diolah menggunakan pola faktorial acak lengkap 4x3 dengan 10 kali ulangan. Parameter yang diukur adalah retensi dan uji ketahanan terhadap rayap tanah (Subterranean termites) dengan metode pengawetan pencelupan, penyemprotan, pemulasan dan perendaman dingin dengan konsentrasi 0,5%, 1% dan 2%.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan kadar air kering udara diperoleh nilai sebesar 11,42%, kerapatan kering udara diperoleh 0,36 g/cm3 dan kerapatan kering tanur diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,33 g/cm3. Konsentrasi bahan pengawet Crown 100 EC, metode pengawetan dan interaksinya berpengaruh sangat signifikan terhadap nilai retensi bahan pengawet. Metode pengawetan dengan konsentrasi bahan pengawet yang tinggi dan waktu kontak yang lama maka nilai retensi yang dihasilkan semakin tinggi. Nilai retensi terbesar pada proses perendaman dingin dengan konsentrasi 2% dapat menghasilkan nilai retensi sebesar 0,9133 kg/m3 sedangkan nilai retensi terkecil pada proses penyemprotan dengan konsentrasi 0,5% menghasilkan nilai retensi sebesar 0,0389 kg/m3. Secara umum metode dan konsentrasi memenuhi standar retensi yang dipersyaratkan Standard New Zealand (NZ S3640)-2004 dan Standard Australia (AS1640)-2004, untuk perlakuan M1K2,M1K3,M2K3,M3K3,M4K1 dan M4K2 memenuhi standar harzard level H1, sedang untuk perlakuan M4K3 memenuhi semua standar harzad level H1,H2 dan H3. Kecuali pada perlakuan M1K1,M2K1,M2K2,M3K1 dan M3K2 tidak memenuhi standar harzard level (NZ S3640-2004 dan AS1640-2004).

Abstract

Although many researchers have focused on entrepreneurship education, little research has been done into the effects for students and the overall effectiveness of the university for entrepreneurship education programs in Indonesia. The research focused using theory of planned behavior and investigates the impact of entrepreneurship programs on the entrepreneur intention students in Brawijaya University. Data for this study is drawn from 9 faculty in Brawijaya University. Sample used in this research have 382 student 2016 period. The results show that participants of entrepreneurship education programs in brawijaya university have a positive effect on atitude toward entrepreneurship, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control. Variable atitude toward entrepreneurship, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control have a positive effect to entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, the findings of this report entrepreneurship education to entrepreneur intention have a positive effect and significant through planned behaviour as intevening variable in Brawijaya University student 2016 period

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh hafalan juz ‘amma di madrasah Diniyah Tafaqquh Fiddin terhadap hasil belajar Alquran Hadis di MTsN Rejoso Peterongan I. Penelitian ini menitikberatkan pada aspek Hafalan juz ‘amma di Madrasah Diniah Tafaqquh Fiddin dan hasil belajar Alquran Hadis. Dari hasil nilai rata-rata semester ganjil. Di mana pelaksanaan kegiatan Tafaqquh Fiddin yang di ikuti siswa MTsN kelas VIII dan IX diharap memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar Alquran Hadis. Metodologi penelitian untuk mengukur hipotesis menggunakan desain penelitian korelasional, yaitu hubungan antara dua variabel, korelasi diniyah Tafaqquh Fiddin (variable X) dan hasil belajar Alquran Hadis (variable Y), pengembangan instrument meliputi jenis data dan sumber data, metode pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, angket dan dokumentasi sedang teknik analisa data menggunakan SPSS v.20. Berdasarkan analisis bahwa Jika r hitung > r tabel maka Ho ditolak, Jika r hitung < r tabel maka Ho diterima. Dengan taraf kepercayaan 0.05 (5%), maka dapat diperoleh r tabel = 0,361 ternyata r-hitung lebih besar daripada r-tabel (0,679>0,361), sehingga Ho ditolak H1 diterima. Artinya ada hubungan yang signifikan antara hafalan juz ‘amma di Madrasah diniah Tafaqquh Fiddin dengan hasil belajar Alquran Hadis di MTsN.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate character values that can be applied on students through congkak game as it is used as a media of mathematics learning. This study used qualitative and quantitative combination or (Exploratory mixed methods designs). The first phase of qualitative data was taken through in-depth interviews to 5 selected informants using purposive sampling technique. The first phase of the data retrieval was intended to gather information related to the content of character values contained in  congkak game. All data interviews were analyzed thematically using NVivo qualitative analysis tool 10. Then, the second phase of the data was taken using a questionnaire to 46 students who were studying in grade V and VI in an elementary school (SD). The second phase of the data retrieval was intended to support the first phase of the research results, the entire data of the second phase analyzed descriptively using quantitative analysis tools SPSS Windows 18.0. Overall, the results of the two phases indicated that there were nine character values contained in the game congkak once it was used as a medium of mathematics learning. The nine-character values were honesty, discipline, hard working, creativity, curiosity, independent, communicativeness, responsibility and appreciation for achievements. The results also proved that the use of instructional media such as traditional game congkak can be used as an intermediary that can be used by teachers in mathematics learning process. In addition, this study shows that even though congkak game belongs to a traditional game among middle societies, in fact, there were characters values as it was investigated scientifically.

Abstract

Background: The research is motivated by the rapid development of the times so that there is a need for the latest innovations for students so as not to be left behind, especially in the field of technology. Purpose: The purpose of this research is about the application of Quizizz to increase students' responses to Pascal's law material. The method used in this study uses quantitative methods.. Method: The method used in this study used a survey method. with respondents totaling 19 MA Darul Ulum Karangpandan class XI MIPA students in physics subjects in the Pascal Law material. This research instrument is in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 10 statement items. Data analysis techniques using percentage descriptive analysis. Findings: The results of the analysis of student responses to the application of Quizizz are that students are interested and happy to learn to use Quizizz. This is evidenced by the results of the questionnaire data, namely the answers to the results of class XI MIPA with 19 students having an average of 78% strongly agree, 100% agree, 12% doubt, 0% disagree, and 0% strongly disagree. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of Quizizz on increasing student responses to Pascal's legal material.

Abstract

Adolescent health is very important, because adolescents are a productive age group that will later develop into the nation's next generation. However, adolescents, especially female adolescents, have a ten times greater risk of health problems in the form of anemia than male adolescents. The integrated community service program for lecturers and students in PKKMD activities begins on December 18 to December 30, 2022, while anemia data collection for adolescents in Bencal Hamlet, Diwek District, Jombang Regency will be carried out on December 26, 2022. It is hoped that this will contribute to improving the health of village communities, especially related to the problem of anemia in adolescents. This program carries out health checks and counseling for village communities who come to the Bencal Hamlet, Pandanwangi Village, Diwek District, Jombang Regency. In the activity in collaboration with the Health Center and related apparatus, counseling was carried out regarding the introduction of the cyamethemoglobin method for detecting hemoglobin levels and various other information about anemia, especially for young women. In this activity, the results obtained from 11 adolescents who took part in the examination, 8 people had normal hemoglobin levels , and 3 low people. This activity also provides counseling about anemia to the people who attend. This can be used by related parties to make directives to the community in an effort to improve public health. There is also a need for an examination with more respondents and a wider coverage of the inspection area.

Abstract

Anemia is a non-communicable disease that often occurs in adolescent girls. Anemia in adolescents that is not resolved has the potential to continue into productive age. As a result, pregnant women with anemia will give birth to an unhealthy generation with low body weight, low immunity and stunting. Early detection of anemia needs to be done to prevent various impacts from occurring. The aim of this community service activity is to early detect anemia in young women through checking hemoglobin levels. The method for checking Hemoglobin (Hb) levels uses the Point of Care Testing (POCT) method. The target of this activity is 171 young women. The results of Hb examinations in young women showed that 23.02% had Hb levels less than normal (anemia) and 76.98% had normal Hb levels. It can be concluded that the incidence of anemia in adolescents is still high because it exceeds the 20% threshold.

Abstract

The factor that supports increasing total cholesterol is age. At the age of less than 60 years and above, cholesterol often increases, more precisely for elderly women under 60 years and for elderly men less than 70 years. A preliminary study of cholesterol levels in the elderly at Cukir Public Health Center, Jombang Regency, conducted by Vidayana, found that 59.38% (19 respondents) had cholesterol levels within the high risk threshold (200-240 mg/dl). The aim of community service is to determine cholesterol levels in elderly people with hypertension before and after being given health education in Jombang Regency. Total Cholesterol Measurement Method: CHOD- PAP. The population is 41 people. The sample consisted of 30 people using consecutivel sampling. The results of measurements before being given counseling showed that almost half of the respondents had high cholesterol levels, 12 respondents (40%), almost half of the respondents had slightly high cholesterol levels, 12 respondents (40%) had normal cholesterol levels. and 6 respondents (20%). After counseling, it was found that 10 respondents (33.3%), almost half of the respondents had slightly high cholesterol levels, 8 respondents (26.7%) had normal cholesterol levels. and 12 respondents (40%). Counseling can reduce cholesterol levels in the elderly. This Community Service shows the results of changes in cholesterol levels in the elderly.

Abstract

The partner's problem is that village officials have not been able to use some software such as Microsoft Word. The solution used to deal with problems experienced by partners is to provide training in the Microsoft Word application program. The implementation of this community service activity is on Saturday May 13 2023. The socialization activity was carried out by the proposing team more to provide motivation to village officials regarding the importance of technology, especially the Microsoft Word application, in order to expedite administrative performance in the village. Training activities are practical activities that focus on increasing the skills of village officials. Observations from the implementation of this activity provide insight into new knowledge and skills for village officials and at the same time provide benefits which of course support village administrative activities. During the implementation of the training, the enthusiasm of the village apparatus was visible both in terms of receiving the material and feedback in the form of questions. Based on observations during the activity and from several questions asked by the participants, it appears that the participants already have an idea of what Microsoft Word is and its functions and uses in village administrative activities. Participants also have additional insight and skills related to information technology, especially Microsoft Word, so that they are expected to further support village administration

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology through the Internet has a significant impact on people's lifestyles, including the practice of blogging as an expression of Internet use. Blogging has penetrated into various aspects of life, one of which is in the context of education. In the world of education, blogs have a very important role as a tool to store and disseminate information online. Its use can be personal, such as for teachers who want to share teaching materials, learning reflections, or personal experiences in the teaching process. On the other hand, educational institutions also utilize it as a platform to provide information to students, parents, and the general public. The main advantage of blogs in education is their ability to present information easily and quickly, without being bound by space and time constraints. In essence, blogs open up wide access to knowledge. The purpose of this activity is to introduce students to basic knowledge and skills in creating blogs that support interaction, in accordance with their respective fields of knowledge. One-day blogging training has proven to be quite effective for teaching the technical details of creating a blog as well as how to load material to be interactive and engaging. More than just technical training, it is the first step towards achieving a larger goal in education. A total of 14 participants from teachers and learning staff of SMPN 2 Jember have taken blogging insight tests before and after the training to support their learning process. The test results showed that before the training, knowledge about blogging was still lacking. However, after the training, participants were able to significantly improve their comprehension, as seen from the increase in the number of questions that can be answered and the higher level of accuracy in the post-test session. Thus, future follow-up activities related to the introduction of blogging for teachers and staff will focus on increasing understanding and knowledge of the role of blogging in creating dynamic learning materials for the improvement of education quality
