Abstract

The provision of friendly facilities for people with disabilities is one form of government concern in creating social inclusion and equal access for all levels of society. In this context, the National Land Agency (BPN) plays an important role in ensuring that public facilities provided can be accessed by all individuals, including people with disabilities. This study aims to analyze how BPN provides disability-friendly facilities at the regional office located on Jalan STM, Sitirejo, Medan Amplas District, Medan City, North Sumatra. This study uses a qualitative approach with an in-depth case study method, where data is obtained through interviews, direct observation, and documentation studies related to the provision of facilities for people with disabilities at the BPN. The results of the study indicate that despite efforts by the BPN to provide facilities that are friendly to people with disabilities, there are still a number of obstacles that need to be fixed, such as the lack of supporting facilities such as disabled lanes, and information on service procedures that are not fully disability-friendly. From this study, it is recommended that the BPN can improve infrastructure and services for people with disabilities by paying attention to applicable standards, and conduct wider socialization related to accessibility rights for people with disabilities, in order to realize more inclusive public services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of organisational culture and public trust on the performance of Cilegon District Police members in securing the 2024 Cilegon Mayoral Election. The main focus of the research is whether organisational culture and the level of public trust can influence the effectiveness of police performance in maintaining neutrality and security during the election process. This study uses organisational culture theory, public trust theory, and performance theory as the basis for analysis. The research method is a quantitative approach with survey techniques, data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 130 respondents in the Cilegon Police jurisdiction. Data processing using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method to test the influence between variables. The results showed that organisational culture has a significant effect on public trust and police performance. Public trust is proven to mediate the influence between organisational culture and police performance. This finding shows that the better the organisational culture at Cilegon Police Station, the higher the level of public trust, which also improves police performance in securing elections.

Abstract

Over the past five years, from 2019 to 2023, the Pemali District area in Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, has consistently experienced an increase in the number of motorcycle theft crimes involving two-wheeled vehicles (R2). The banner media created by the Pemali Police in 2024 contains security messages on how to avoid becoming a victim of motorcycle theft. The aim is to encourage the community to abandon old habits, such as leaving motorcycles unlocked with the key still attached, and instead park their motorcycles in safe places to develop new habits. This research uses a quantitative approach through a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents. The theories related to this research are the public communication campaign theory, behavior change theory, and crime prevention theory. The research data was processed using simple regression analysis, and the questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability. The responses were then analyzed using SPSS software, which included normality tests, correlation tests, and regression tests. Additionally, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation tests were conducted. From the questionnaire responses of 100 respondents, hypothesis testing through F-tests, t-tests, and the coefficient of determination showed that crime prevention campaigns through banners affect behavior change in the community and have a 13.5% influence on the reduction of motorcycle thefts in the Pemali Police jurisdiction. The conclusion of this study is that banners influence behavior change in the community and contribute to a 13.5% decrease in motorcycle thefts. It is necessary to combine crime prevention campaigns not only through banners but also through social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and SnackVideo.

Abstract

الهدف من هذا البحث هو الارتقاء بمهارات الكلام لدى طلاب مدرسة الإحسانية من خلال الألعاب اللغوية وكذلك لمعرفة فاعلية الألعاب اللغوية في تدريس مهارة الكلام لطلاب المرحلة المتوسطة . منهج البحث الموجود في هذا البحث هو منهج البحث المختلط الذي يزاوج بين الأساليب النوعية والأساليب الكمية. المجتمع المدروس هم طلاب الصف السابع وعددهم 34 طالبا من خلال المقارنة بين درجات اختبار الطلاب قبل إجراء التجربة وبعد إجراء التجربة لقياس فعالية الألعاب اللغوية في تدريس مهارة الكلام لدى الطلاب. طرق جمع البيانات عن طريق الملاحظة و المقابلات والوثائق و الاستبيان. تحليل البيانات في هذا البحث باستخدام اختبار ت . نتيجة البحث من خلال اختبار ت أن فعالية الألعاب اللغوية في تدريس مهارة الكلام كانت متوسطة حيث أن النتيجة قبل الامتحان سلبية بينما أصبحت إيجابية بعد تطبيق الألعاب اللغوية. نتائج الطلاب كانت 167,6 قبل الإخبار أما بعد الاختبار فأصبحت النتيجة 180.7. ولذلك فإن مهارة الطلاب لم تتأثر بشكل كبير باستخدام هذه الطريقة.

Abstract

Pineapple (Ananas comosus L. Merr) is a fruit that contains water and fiber as well as bromelin enzyme as an antibacterial. Dental and oral health is part of overall body health and cannot be separated from general body health. Based on this background, this study aims to find out more about the benefits of pineapple fruit for oral health. This study uses the study literature review method, namely the method of collecting and tracing bibliographical data, textbooks, journals, scientific articles, and literature reviews related to the discussion to be studied. The results showed pineapple (Ananas comosus L. Merr).Some of these ingredients have been known to inhibit bacterial growth through disruption of protein biosynthesis, nucleic acid metabolism, and inhibition of enzyme activity such as glucosyltransferases. These materials can also inhibit bacteria from producing acid, synthesizing exopolysaccharides and bacterial attachment. Based on the research results, the content of pineapple fruit solution (Ananas comosus L. Merr) contains citric acid and phenolic compounds which are antibacterial.Pineapple consumption can reduce dental plaque, Streptococcus sp bacteria, and increase salivary pH.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik (KKNT) merupakan salah satu program akademik yang bertujuan untuk mengaplikasikan ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Program ini tidak hanya menjadi wadah pengabdian kepada masyarakat, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pembelajaran langsung untuk memahami permasalahan dan potensi lokal. Pelaksanaan KKNT di Desa Rapana Meunasah Kumbang dilakukan dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan kolaboratif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi: a. Survei Awal: Identifikasi kebutuhan dan potensi sdm masyarakat desa melalui wawancara dan observasi langsung. b. Diskusi Kelompok Terfokus:Diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD) untuk menggali potensi dan kebutuhan masyarakat. c. Implementasi Program: Pelatihan keterampilan kerja, seperti pengolahan hasil pertanian dan kerajinan tangan. d. Monitoring dan Evaluasi: Mengevaluasi keberhasilan program dan dampaknya terhadap masyarakat. Melalui pendekatan ini, diharapkan kegiatan KKNT dapat memberikan manfaat yang optimal bagi semua pihak yang terlibat.

Abstract

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by hyperglycemia due to impaired insulin secretion or resistance. One common complication includes hematological abnormalities, such as changes in platelet count and function. This study aimed to describe the platelet count in T2DM patients as an early detection of complications. Methods: This descriptive quantitative study involved 39 T2DM patients from the Puskesmas Jembatan Kecil, Bengkulu City, selected through accidental sampling. Venous blood samples were analyzed using the Rayto RT-7600 Hematology Analyzer, and data were processed using univariate analysis. Results: The majority of respondents (89.7%) had platelet counts within the normal range (150,000–400,000/mcL), 2.5% had thrombocytopenia, and 7.6% had thrombocytosis. Most respondents were over 35 years old (97.5%), 66.6% had been diagnosed for less than five years, 46.1% had other complications, and 56.4% were female.Conclusion: Most T2DM patients had normal platelet counts, but a small proportion showed abnormalities. Routine laboratory evaluation is essential for early detection and prevention of complications, and platelet function assessment is recommended even when counts are within normal range

Abstract

Acara pengabdian masyarakat yang diselenggarakan untuk warga berfokus pada pengasuhan orang tua terutama kepada anak usia dini, bahwa pentingnya memberikan kasih sayang yang tepat pada anak agar anak memiliki kecerdasan emosi yang baik sehingga dapat menjadi bekal anak dalam menghadapi permasalahan sehari-hari. Melalui seminar parenting kegiatan ini telah dilaksanakan di Kota Cilegon dengan menggunakan metode survei, persiapan, sosialisasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil seminar pengabdian yang dicapai ialah orang tua menjadi lebih mengerti bahwa dengan memberikan kasih sayang yang tepat melalui pengasuhan akan dapat mengoptimalkan kecerdasan emosi anak serta memahami bahwa kecerdasan emosi dapat dipengaruhi oleh gaya pengasuhan baik ayah ataupun ibu.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of production costs and selling prices on the income of Nagari Aie Tajun corn farmers, Lubuk Alung District. This type of research is quantitative and primary source research. The population in this study were corn farmers in Nagari Aie Tajun, Lubuk Alung District. The sample size can be determined using the Slovin formula, so a sample of 82 respondents is obtained. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Test the research instrument using validity and reliability tests. The classical assumption test used is normality, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity tests. To test the hypothesis, the T test, F test and Adjusted R Square test are used. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 22. The results of the research show that the variables of production costs and selling prices have a significant effect on the income of Nagari Aie Tajun farmers, Lubuk Alung District. This is proven by the value of tcount > ttable with a significance level of less than 0.05. The variables of production costs and selling prices simultaneously influence the income of Nagari Aie Tajun corn farmers, Lubuk Alung District. This is proven by the value of fcount > ftable. The contribution of the variables together is 51.9% of the dependent variable, 48.1% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

Cybersecurity remains a global problem that can cause major losses worldwide. Technological advances have created new motives for crimes such as love scams. Love scams are frauds that take advantage of emotional relationships to exploit victims for personal gain. The factors causing love scams include the victim's emotional vulnerability, need for attention, and lack of digital literacy. Therefore, it is important for the public to be aware of the various modes of love scams and how to overcome them. This research uses a qualitative method, with data obtained through interviews with 11 sources. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The research results show that, based on Dittipidum data from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Indonesian National Police, there are 18 identified love scam perpetrators with losses reaching 86.3 billion rupiah. Korbinmas Baharkam POLRI has an important role in conducting community development. The steps taken by POLRI include education through socialization, collaborative and community-oriented approaches, and critical intervention and support services. Education that considers the emotional aspect can effectively increase public awareness.
