Abstract

Domestic work is a household-related activity and is mostly done by women. There are many negative stereotypes about women as domestic workers. One of the young activists, Kalis Mardiasih is quite critical in responding to gender issues on his Instagram account. The study aims to analyze the discourse behind posts @kalis.mardiasih related to stereotypes of women as domestic workers. This study uses the critical discourse analysis method of Norman Fairclough. The result of this study show that Kalis Mardiasih means women are more often victims according to the passive stigma attached to him. From the mental side, the female consciousness of accepting the stereotypes makes women only classified as a second-class human being that can be objectified. In addition, Kalis also responded through posts on her Instagram account about the stereotypes of female domestic workers by putting pressure on the meaning of the images and symbols posted, such as the role of women in the household. In his post, Kalis Mardiasih gave an emphasis on pictures f women crying while hanging children accompanied by symbols holding household appliances. In addition, Kalis Mardiasih also made writing with a thick style so that the essence of gender equality can be accepted by citizens.

Abstract

Loyalty patient is a patient's willingness to re-use the health care services provided by the hospitals or health clinics. Loyalty patients can occur due to several factors such as good quality service. Therefore, the study aims to determine the correlation between service quality and loyalty of the patients at the surgical departement of RSUD  dr. R. Koesma Tuban. The research used a correlational design with cross-sectional approach involving 71 respondents drawn by accidental sampling technique. Data was taken from the questionnaire. Data were analyzed with the contingensi coefficient test. The result showed most respondents have assumed that the hospital by has intermediate (63,4%) and most of the respondents have less loyalty, there are 46.5%. SPSS results showed that H1 is accepted, so there is a correlation between service quality and loyalty of patients ( ρ = 0.000, which obtained a significant value ≤ 0.005). It can be concluded that there is a correlation between service quality and patient loyalty. The description above can be concluded that service quality can affect patient loyalty. Therefore, it is expected the hospital can increase the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) for the sake of good quality and patient satisfaction for the hospital’s income in the future.

Abstract

Behavior is a form of deed or activity performed by the individual in his or her daily life that can be observed directly or not, such as walking, speaking, crying, laughing, writing, reading, and so on. Teeneger is one of the nation's assets that are vulnerable to disasters and there is no readiness in the face of disaster. However, based on the youth experience in Gedongombo Village, there has been no socialization of disaster preparedness training. This research aims to know the influence of disaster-conscious cultural training on the behavior of fire disaster preparedness in teenegers in Gedongombo Village Semanding Subdistric. The research method used is pre-experimental, with the design of one group pre-use-test design. The population in this study consisted of 19 adolescents in Gedongombo Village. The research sample consisted of 18 teenegers from Gedongombo Village selected by simple random sampling. The instrument used was the SOP disaster and preparedness behavior questionnaire sheet. It was found that most of the behavior of teenegers preparedness in the face of a fire disaster before being given the training of disaster-conscious culture, the behavior of poorly prepared behaviors, and after the training was given the disaster-conscious culture of most of the already-prepared behavior. The result The statistical test showed that there is an influence of disaster-conscious cultural training on the behavior of fire disaster preparedness in teenegers in the village Gedongombo Semanding Subdistrict with a value of use-value = 0.000 at α = 0.05 (P < 0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that H1 is accepted. Expected disaster- conscious culture training can improve the behavior of adolescent preparedness in the face of a fire disaster and can apply in case of fire.   Keywords: Disaster-conscious Cultural Training; Fire Disaster; Teenegers Preparedness Behavior

Abstract

This study discusses the important role of extracurricular management in increasing the interests and talents of students in the educational environment. Extracurricular activities are activities outside the main curriculum that can facilitate the development of students' potential in various fields. The purpose of this study was to analyze effective strategies and methods in extracurricular management to increase students' interests and talents. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires given to students, supervising teachers, and extracurricular managers. This research has implications for schools and education policy makers to pay more attention to extracurricular development and management. In conclusion, extracurricular management plays an important role in exploring the potential interests and talents of students in the educational environment. By providing a variety of extracurricular activities that are directed and involve active support from supervising teachers and administrators, schools can become an inspiring place to develop the potential of students holistically.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to produce truth or dare snakes and ladders media for local culture in social studies learning for grade IV elementary schools that is valid, practical and effective. The research method used is RnD with a 4D development model. To obtain data, researchers used several data collection techniques, namely interviews, expert assessments, questionnaires and tests. The data that has been collected using the instruments above is then used to describe the assessment of the quality of the snakes and ladders learning media on the material on ethnic and religious diversity in my country in class VI elementary school based on valid, practical and effective criteria. The data is analyzed using questions from the problem formulation. Based on the trial, it showed that the truth or dare snakes and ladders media received a positive response from students. In the one to one trial, the student response showed a percentage of 87.5%, while in the small group trial, the student response showed a percentage of 83.7%. Based on the validation results from the 4 validators, material experts, media experts and media linguists, Snake and Ladder, Truth or Dare was declared "valid" from the percentage obtained at 88.32% and from the results of the trial and field test gain using pretest and posttest, it was obtained at 0. 75% were declared effective for use, thus the development of snakes and ladders media, truth or dare, local culture in class IV social studies learning at SD Negeri 8 Banyuasin II, is suitable for students to use in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the influence of the work environment and work discipline on the performance of PT Pardasyi Cahaya Abadi employees partially and simultaneously. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population in this study is all employees of PT Pardasyi Cahaya Abadi. The sample in this study uses the entire population as a sample of 38 employees of PT Pardasyi Cahaya Abadi. The data collection techniques in this study use interview, observation, and questionnaire techniques. The data analysis technique in this study uses the Instrument Test, the Classical Assumption Test, the Hypothesis Test using the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Test and the Determination Coefficient Test (R2). Data processing in this study uses the SPSS software program version 27. The results of this study prove that partially the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and simultaneously the work environment and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on the performance of PT Pardasyi Cahaya Abadi employees

Abstract

The Qur'ān, as a guide for mankind, has been the object of continuous study from classical times to modern times today, involving various aspects including the history of its revelation, the history of its bookkeeping, its interpretation, its meaning content, its grammatical aspects, to the way of reading qira'at. Differences in qiraat have various impacts on the interpretation of the Qur'an, both in terms of changing the meaning and in terms that do not have a direct impact on interpretation, such as differences in dialect. This article examines the influence of saheeh and shadhdhah qiraat on the interpretation of verse 19 of Surah Saba' in Abu Hayyan's tafsir al-Bahr al-Muhit}. This study uses the method of literature (library research) with the aim of analyzing the influence of qiraat, both considered shahih and shadhdhah, on tafsir al-Bahr al-Muhit on verse 19 of Surah Saba'. The results showed that there is a significant influence of qiraat shahih and shadhdhah on the verse in tafsir al-Bahr al-Muhit. Qiraat shahih tends to provide clearer clarification of the meaning, while qiraat shadhdhah has the potential to change the meaning of the verse.

Abstract

This research aims to design an IoT-based home light monitoring system using Wemos D1 Mini. This tool is designed to control the current and voltage contained in house lights automatically. The sensor used to measure the current in the house lights is the ACS712 sensor, and the sensor used to measure the voltage in the house lights is the ZMPT101B sensor. The simulation of the house lights on this tool uses three LED lights, where each lamp is located on the terrace of the house, living room, and kitchen with different light power variations. In addition, the Blynk application on smartphones can be used to turn lights off and on and monitor currents and voltages. The test results show that this tool can control three regulated room lights and monitor the current and voltage in the three lights online using the Blynk application.

Abstract

Ensuring Completeness in nursing documentation is highly important as it reflects a  nurse's responsibility and accountability for the tasks performed to meet client needs. However, the heavy workload of Nurses can hinder the implementation of nursing documentation.  This study aims to determine the nurse workload and the completeness of nursing documentation with a source-oriented record model during the pandemic (in the Regional General Hospital dr. R. Koesma Tuban) in 2022. This research method uses a correlational analytical research design that examines whether is a relationship between variables with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of all nurses in dr. R. Koesma Tuban Hospital, totaling 320 nurses , with a sample size of 155 respondents selected through simple random sampling technique. The Instruments used in this study included a Self-compassion questionnaire consisting of 11 questions and a documentation completeness questionnaire  including models source-oriented record consisting of 11 questions. This study utilized the Spearman test with a significance level of   = 0.05, the results obtained = 0.02 obtained = 0.02 were less than 0.05, thus accepting the alternative hypothesis (H1). This study concludes that there is a significant correlation between nurse workload and the completeness of nursing documentation with a source-oriented record model during the pandemic in dr. R. Koesma Tuban Hospital in 2022. It is suggested that further research investigate additional causal factors influencing the completeness of the source-oriented record model of nursing documentation.

Abstract

Therapeutic communication is an important element in the care of elderly people in social institutions, influencing their quality of life, emotional well-being and social interactions. However, effective implementation of therapeutic communication in this context is often faced with challenges such as communication barriers and lack of adequate training for social home staff. This research aims to explore the importance of therapeutic communication in the context of elderly people in social institutions in Indonesia, as well as to highlight the relationship between therapeutic communication practices and the quality of life, emotional well-being and social relationships of elderly people. The research method used was a literature review involving relevant quantitative and qualitative studies from 2023 to 2024. Data was analyzed from various scientific articles and related studies that discussed therapeutic communication and its impact on the elderly in social institutions. The research results show that effective therapeutic communication plays an important role in improving the quality of life of elderly people in social institutions. The studies conducted revealed a positive relationship between therapeutic communication practices and reducing anxiety levels, improving quality of life, and strengthening social relationships in the elderly. These findings underscore the urgency for the development of practice guidelines and further research to improve the implementation of more effective therapeutic communication in social institutions in Indonesia.
