Abstract

This study assesses the execution of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, emphasizing adherence to established policies and its influence on the company's reputation. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), designed to enhance societal and environmental value, is essential for fostering public trust and customer loyalty. The employed methodology is a descriptive technique utilizing secondary data gathered from annual reports, CSR documents, and literature reviews. The research findings reveal that PT Vale continuously executes CSR initiatives, despite a decline in the number of activities from 667 in 2015 to 82 in 2022. In 2022, the amount of CSR funds given out rose to USD 4.9 million. This shows that these programs are now more focused on quality than quantity. The company's reputation has gotten better, as shown by awards and public support, like the 2024 PROPER Emas. This report suggests that to make things more sustainable, we should make social impact projects better, use less energy, and move CSR programs online.

Abstract

Natural disasters cause loss of life and infrastructure damage. Over the past decade, the frequency and number of natural disaster events have tended to increase. Such events can threaten and disrupt community life, including the education sector, lead to the loss of jobs and assets, cause health and psychological problems, and disrupt economic activities. Disasters also result in damaged infrastructure, weakened social cohesion, and increased poverty rates. One of the variables affected by disasters is labor wages. The determinants of wages are classified into three categories: 1) demographic characteristics, including age, age squared, gender, marital status, and place of residence; 2) human resource characteristics, including education, certified training, and work experience; and 3) job characteristics, including working hours and industry sector. This study utilizes data from the 2019 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) and the Indonesia Disaster Information Data (DIBI) from BNPB. The findings indicate that disaster events significantly affect labor wages in Indonesia, although the estimated effect is relatively small. The policy implication of this study is that policymakers can enhance community resilience through both structural and non-structural mitigation efforts to reduce the adverse impacts of disasters, particularly their impact on the wages of affected workers.

Abstract

Beragam kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah SPLDV. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal tentang Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel (SPLDV) berdasarkan tahapan analisis Newman Error Analysis. Kami menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melibatkan siswa SMPIT Rabbani Qur’an School 23 siswa tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kombinasi dari hasil tes dan wawancara. Tes digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa, sementara wawancara digunakan untuk mengkonfirmasi kesalahan dan mengetahui penyebabnya. Teknik analisis yang digunakan termasuk reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kesalahan siswa menggunakan teori Newman, ditemukan bahwa siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam semua tipe kesalahan yang dianalisis yaitu Kesalahan membaca (reading error), Kesalahan memahami (Comprehension error), Kesalahan transformasi (Transformation error), Kesalahan keterampilan proses (Process skill error), dan Kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir (Encoding error).

Abstract

Environmental violence in schools is a crucial issue that requires structured and sustainable intervention. The aim of this project is to foster critical awareness and leadership among students in promoting the values of peaceful culture, tolerance, and anti-violence through the use of educational technology (Edutech). The activities were carried out using a participatory approach through training, socialization, and the implementation of edutech media based on the cultural values of Sipakatau, Sipakalebbi, and Sipakainge to build an anti-violence school culture. Evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests to measure improvements in students' cultural literacy and anti-violence attitudes. The main results of this activity show a significant increase in students' cultural literacy and their skills in using digital platforms to spread anti-violence campaigns and positive environmental education. This project has succeeded in creating change agents among students who actively advocate for a safe and inclusive school environment, proving that the integration of cultural literacy and Edutech is an effective strategy in preventing environmental violence.ABSTRAKKekerasan lingkungan di sekolah menjadi isu krusial yang memerlukan intervensi terstruktur dan berkelanjutan. Tujuan dari projek ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran kritis dan kepemimpinan siswa dalam mempromosikan nilai-nilai budaya damai, toleransi, dan anti-kekerasan melalui pemanfaatan teknologi edukasi (Edutech). Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui pelatihan, sosialisasi, dan implementasi media edutech berbasis nilai budaya Sipakatau, Sipakalebbi, dan Sipakainge guna membangun budaya sekolah anti-kekerasan. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan literasi budaya dan sikap antikekerasan siswa. Hasil utama dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman literasi budaya siswa serta keterampilan mereka dalam menggunakan platform digital untuk menyebarkan kampanye anti-kekerasan dan edukasi lingkungan yang positif. Projek ini berhasil menciptakan agen perubahan di kalangan siswa yang aktif mengadvokasi lingkungan sekolah yang aman dan inklusif, membuktikan bahwa integrasi literasi budaya dan Edutech merupakan strategi efektif dalam pencegahan kekerasan lingkungan.

Abstract

The incidence of hypertension is on the rise with the passage of time, attributed to the increasing prevalence of unhealthy lifestyle changes. The productive age signifies a stage in the evolution of life where individuals are at the peak of activity, characterized by heightened levels of engagement that tend to result in health issues. Hypertension can lead to organ damage, notably the kidneys, as indicated by elevated levels of creatinine in the blood. The aim of this study is to ascertain the levels of blood creatinine in hypertensive patients of productive age at the Cikajang Community Health Center. This descriptive study analyzes blood creatinine levels in hypertensive patients using the Jaffe Reaction method, with a sample size of 30 respondents obtained through accidental sampling technique. The study's findings reveal that 19 participants (64%) have normal creatinine levels, 10 participants (33%) have high creatinine levels, and 1 participant (3%) has low creatinine levels. The study concludes that the majority of respondents have normal creatinine levels, nearly half of the respondents have high creatinine levels, and a small portion of respondents have low creatinine levels

Abstract

The conveyance service business is a dynamic industry where there are changing trends every year. This is what underlies Ransoe Konveksi's efforts to develop its production, especially to expand market share. However, the lack of specific skills of the employees has hampered the plan to make the latest products that are actually in great demand by the community. Therefore, the Polmed Service Team took the initiative to provide training to Ransoe Konveksi employees who would later be guided by professionals in their fields. If the employees' abilities are qualified to create new products that are in demand by the community, the convection services will be increasingly recognized by many people and will increase income.

Abstract

Employee performance in company will not always be stable because in the factors of production there is a role of human resources which can change due the certain factors. Researchers conducted pre-research on what factors that can employee performance and they obtained the top three aspects, namely work spirit, discipline and compensation. This research aims to determine wheter work spirit and discipline affect the employee performance of PT. Omron Manufacturing of Indonesia. The kind of research that used is quantitative research. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling technique by making all populations 80 people at thermoset section of PT. Omron Manufacturing of Indonesia as the samples. Data collection techniques used are observation, distributing questionnaires and library research. The data analysis method used is data quality test, classic assumption test and test hypothesi. The research was processed using SPSS version 25.0 for windows in T test shows that Work Spirit has a significant effect on employee performance because it has a sig. value 0,000 < 0,005, Discipline has no a significant effect on employee performance because it has a sig. value 0,462 > 0,005, and Compensation has no significant effect on employye performance because it has a sig. value 0,196 > 0,005. As for the F test result has a significant value of 0,000 < 0,005 which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that simultaneously the variables of Work Spirit, Discipline have a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The development of the disruption era and globalization demands that companies manage human resources (HR) more effectively and adaptively in order to maintain competitiveness and business sustainability. This study aims to describe and analyze the human resource management strategy implemented by PT Astra International Tbk in responding to these challenges. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, documentation, and literature review. The results show that Astra applies a Total Human Capital Management approach, which includes competency-based recruitment, continuous training, career development based on meritocracy, and a fair and transparent reward system. The use of digital technology is also an integral part of HR management, such as the implementation of e-learning, performance dashboards, and a hybrid work system. In addition, Astra reinforces an inclusive work culture and designs retention programs specifically tailored to the millennial and Gen Z generations, taking into account their unique characteristics and expectations. This integrated and adaptive HR strategy has proven effective in enhancing organizational competitiveness and long-term sustainability. These findings offer practical implications for other companies seeking to build an HR ecosystem that is responsive to change, value-based, and future-oriented.

Abstract

Family resilience refers to a family's capability to positively cope with challenging circumstances and emerge feeling stronger, more equipped, and more self-assured than before. This study aims to examine factors contribute to family resilience within the Muslim community. As the largest Muslim population globally, Indonesian Muslims can serve as a representative sample to illustrate the concept of family resilience within the Muslim population. We hypothesized that religiosity, and family communication may contribute to the formation of family resilience. Participants are Moslems from several area in Indonesia (N=406). The data analyzed by Multiple Regression Analysis. Result shows that religiosity and family communication significantly contribute to family resilience (R Square = 43.3). Family communication contributes higher (28.9%) than religiosity (14.3%). Some future recommendations: (1) programs and policies that encourage families to engage in shared religious practices and improve communication skills can be instrumental in fostering a supportive environment that helps families navigate challenges; (2) subsequent studies can explore mediating factors, such as socioeconomic status or external stressors, that may influence this relationship; longitudinal studies could assess how these dynamics evolve over time, particularly in response to changing societal conditions.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan yang efektif memainkan peran krusial dalam menciptakan budaya organisasi yang inklusif, terutama dalam konteks Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana peran kepemimpinan dapat membentuk budaya inklusif di UMKM Sopel, sebuah bisnis lokal yang sedang berkembang. Pendekatan inklusif dalam organisasi dinilai penting guna menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang terbuka dan mendukung keberagaman, sehingga mendorong inovasi, produktivitas, dan keberlanjutan usaha. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pimpinan dan karyawan UMKM Sopel, serta observasi langsung terhadap lingkungan kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang partisipatif dan berorientasi pada kolaborasi memainkan peran penting dalam membangun budaya organisasi yang inklusif. Pemimpin yang mampu mendengarkan, menghargai perbedaan, dan mendorong keterlibatan aktif dari seluruh anggota organisasi berkontribusi signifikan terhadap terciptanya suasana kerja yang harmonis dan produktif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan inklusif bukan hanya strategi manajerial, tetapi juga faktor kunci dalam memastikan keberlanjutan dan pertumbuhan UMKM. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi para pemimpin UMKM lain untuk menerapkan pendekatan serupa guna memperkuat budaya organisasi yang lebih inklusif dan inovatif.
