Abstract

This study aims to develop an instructional medium in the form of a documentary video to enhance the learning interest of pre-service teacher students in the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) course on the topic of the Abbasid Dynasty. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method with key stages including needs identification, media design, product development, and initial evaluation. The video development process utilizes artificial intelligence technologies such as ChatGPT for scriptwriting, Gemini AI for creating image illustrations, and CapCut for video editing, animation, and audio processing. The final product is an engaging, interactive, and informative documentary video that presents the history of the Abbasid Dynasty with modern visual style and easy-to-understand narration. The video not only delivers historical information but also fosters curiosity and active engagement among students during the learning process. Based on the initial evaluation, this media is considered effective in increasing attention and learning motivation among pre-service teacher students. The use of documentary videos is expected to become an innovative Islamic education learning medium that meets the needs of the digital generation and contributes positively to improving the quality of teaching and learning in higher education. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbentuk video dokumenter guna meningkatkan minat belajar mahasiswa calon guru pada mata kuliah Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) materi Daulah Abbasiyah. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan tahapan utama meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, perancangan media, pengembangan produk, dan evaluasi awal. Pengembangan video dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi berbasis kecerdasan buatan seperti ChatGPT untuk penyusunan narasi, Gemini AI untuk pembuatan ilustrasi gambar, dan CapCut untuk pengeditan video, animasi, serta pengolahan suara. Hasil pengembangan menghasilkan video dokumenter yang menarik, interaktif, dan informatif, yang menampilkan sejarah Daulah Abbasiyah dengan gaya visual modern dan narasi yang mudah dipahami. Video ini tidak hanya menyampaikan informasi sejarah, tetapi juga menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu dan keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi awal, media ini dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan perhatian dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa calon guru. Penggunaan video dokumenter diharapkan dapat menjadi inovasi media pembelajaran PAI yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan generasi digital, serta memberikan kontribusi positif dalam peningkatan kualitas proses belajar mengajar di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Zepp Quiz as a creative learning media to enhance students' understanding of Islamic Cultural History at Madrasah Aliyah. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The developed product consists of 10 multiple-choice questions about the Conquest of Mecca with varying difficulty levels, equipped with supporting illustrations, educational feedback, point systems, timers, and leaderboards. Data collection was conducted through quantitative methods using validation questionnaires from media experts and material experts with a Likert scale of 1-5. Data analysis was performed descriptively by calculating average scores and feasibility percentages. The results showed that media expert validation obtained an average score of 4.31 or 86% in the very feasible category, while material expert validation obtained an average score of 4.25 or 85% in the very feasible category. Based on expert validation results, Zepp Quiz learning media is declared very feasible to be used as a creative learning media in Islamic Cultural History learning at Madrasah Aliyah.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of eXe-Learning in Quran Hadith instruction, with a focus on the integration of relevant educational theories in supporting a shift in learning paradigms. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed. The research participants included teachers and students involved in Quran Hadith learning, particularly on the topic of Mad Thabi‘i. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the use of eXe-Learning reflects a transition in instructional approaches from teacher-centered (behaviorist) to learner-centered (constructivist) learning. The interactive modules developed through eXe-Learning assist students in understanding the concept of mad asli, recognizing the letters of mad, and accurately distinguishing vowel length, while also encouraging active engagement in the learning process. The implications of this study suggest that eXe-Learning can serve as an alternative digital learning medium in Quran Hadith subjects to support learner-centered instruction and to encourage teachers to integrate constructivist approaches in the design and implementation of learning activities that align with students’ characteristics in the digital era.

Abstract

This study developed a teaching module based on Merrill's Principle of Instruction for the seventh grade Qur'an Hadith subject with the material of the Grace of Allah SWT at MTs Darul Amin Palangka Raya. This module is designed to support the implementation of the independent curriculum, which emphasizes flexibility, creativity, and relevance of learning. The research uses the ADDIE development model which includes the analysis stage, at this stage is the initial stage of making observations to be able to know and understand the actual conditions. The design stage, determining the overall content, namely 1) analyzing the content of the teaching module, 2) designing related to the flow or syntax in learning by applying the Merril's Principle Of Instruction model, 3) selecting teaching material competencies, 4) making the linkage of material examples with real life as easy as possible, 5) implementing the teaching module. Stage Development, at this stage is the most important stage which is developing so as to produce a good and appropriate product, namely the development of Merril's-based teaching modules. Implementation Stage, at this stage presents the results of the finished product of the teaching module that has been implemented with the Merril's model. The Evaluation Stage, is the final stage of seeing the suitability of the components that apply to the teaching modules used by teachers.The results showed that the module based on Merrill's Principle Of Instruction, which includes elements of real tasks, activation, demonstration, and application.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Quizizz pada mata kuliah Akidah Akhlak serta menganalisis persepsi pengguna menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain pengembangan deskriptif. Proses pengembangan mengikuti kerangka Model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) yang menghasilkan prototipe kuis interaktif yang relevan dengan Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media Quizizz yang dikembangkan diterima dengan sangat baik oleh dosen dan mahasiswa. Dosen menilai platform ini meningkatkan efisiensi evaluasi dan berfungsi sebagai alat refleksi pedagogis karena mampu menyajikan laporan pemahaman mahasiswa secara real-time. Sementara itu, pengalaman mahasiswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi dan keterlibatan aktif berkat elemen gamifikasi seperti leaderboard dan umpan balik instan, yang berhasil menurunkan kecemasan terhadap evaluasi materi Akidah Akhlak yang bersifat filosofis. Meskipun terdapat tantangan teknis seperti kendala jaringan internet, media ini dinilai efektif dalam menjembatani kesenjangan antara tuntutan kurikulum dan preferensi belajar digital mahasiswa. Dengan demikian, Quizizz merupakan inovasi media pembelajaran yang valid dan efektif untuk mendorong internalisasi nilai Akidah Akhlak di Perguruan Tinggi Islam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan media interaktif Wordwall dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di era digital. Penggunaan media berbasis teknologi ini menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, partisipatif, dan berorientasi pada siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap guru serta peserta didik di tingkat sekolah menengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Wordwall mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa selama proses pembelajaran, memperkuat pemahaman konsep materi, serta memberikan umpan balik langsung yang membantu guru dalam melakukan evaluasi pembelajaran secara interaktif. Selain itu, penerapan media digital ini juga berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar dan minat siswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran PAI. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan media Wordwall dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu strategi pembelajaran inovatif dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21.
